Gedeon grinned and nodded when Cosmo asked to have the metal melted. However, his smile quickly faded. His Ember attack wouldn't be able to melt the metal. The Growlithe glanced at Vianne, smirking just slightly. Vianne's eyes widened as she saw her best friend's smirk. "No. Just no." She growled as she shook her head. Gedeon quickly changed his expression to a saddened one, and anyone could clearly see the Vulpix pokehuman struggling to keep fighting against Gedeon. Fianally she sighed, "Fine," she muttered as she grabbed a couple pieces of the scrap metal. Setting down away from Cosmo and Gedeon, she used her Flamethrower attack, effectively melting the metal into a puddle while Gedeon rushed over and began to shape it as it hardened.

Vianne shot a glare at Gedeon as she finished melting the metal for him. It was a good thing they were best friends. Otherwise she wouldn't have given in to the Growlithe. Gedeon finished shaping the dish and set it aside to harden some more while Cosmo looked for wires.

Dusk was caught by surprise and planted his feet into the ground, stopping the spinning. He rose slightly loopy from the dizziness and stumbled away mumbling something intangible.


Trebuchet spoke up from the music to Brianna.


"Ah, leave the geezer alone. He's notta big socialiser!"


Mira followed after Dusk giggling.

She said running towards him and her mother dancing.

Edal ran over to the entertainment system and plucked the microphone from it's holding place, bringing it back to Brianna.


"Here we are...what are your intentions?"

She said before grabbing a cd from the counter and switching the songs.

"I'm ready!"


Suddenly, a dark figure swooped in from the open window in the ceiling and crashed down onto the table. A cacophony of gasps swept over the crowd as he revealed what he had in his hand.


"Whoopsies, looks like I took something that wasn't mine."


The illegal coil pulsated rhythmically in his palm. It seemed to be integrated into his hand.


"So, know what this thing can do? Too bad you don't have a choice."


Edal rushed forward and tried to stop Scythe, but it was too late. Scythe ripped the coil out of Edal's suit with the red coil powered hand. Edal grunted and fell over, incapacitated by the weight of his equipment.


"Holy shit...it's the guy with the red coil."


Trebuchet summoned a boulder and swung it at Scythe. Scythe held out his hand and the rock dissipated into pebbles as it lay in midair.


"You Article 3 kids are so absent-minded. You cannot grasp the power of the Illegal coils. Now, I can take all of them that I want!"


He pointed his prosthetic palm towards the coil on the CD player and it flung outwards and into his hand.


"Now I bet you'll be talking about this for some time now. No one has ever tapped the true ability of these coils, no,no no no...These coils are beyond the sight of any being. Evan Arceus himself! Now. I'll be off raiding more of these coils to procure for myself. I hope you stay away because I can sweep all of the coils out of this room in the blink of an eye. You've been warned."


Scythe unfolded his wings and took flight and flew through the window he came in. There was intense silence over the whole manor as they new what new terror just came into being.

Brianna widened her eyes and looked down at the crowd and smiled nervously,


"Uh, does this have anything to do with the party? Like, whoop whoop..?"


She said, trying to cheer everyone up. Suddenly, the lights turned off, and Brianna screamed as she felt someone grab her.


(I think it would be a cool idea for Team Meteorite to be secretly working with J'Kara, don't you think?)

Trebuchet tried to feel around himself for a little.


"Uh guys? Where i-"


He was cut off by a pierce shriek from the dark. Instinctively he rushed toward the source in panic.


"Brianna?" He called out, feeling lightheaded. Edal still lay on the floor. His armor was locked up so he had no choice but to sit. The house generator kicked into power and the lights turned on. Brianna was nowhere to be seen.


"Oh no. Th-That creep probably took her! Oh when I get my hands on him..."

"Let me go or I'll be digging you your grave you son of a bitch!"


She said, trying to free her arms.

Scythe stroked Brianna's cheek with the cold metal of his mechanical hand. The red coil seemed to grow brighter once it came into contact.


"I won't hurt you unless you try to escape. Did you know that the radioactive frequencies from an illegal coil can cause migraines and brain tumors if not secured properly? Oh, that would be a painful death for you." He purred, his voice soft but malicious.

"I'm the 'Meteorite Night' as people call me. I bet you've heard of me slinking around the Kalos and Hoenn Region. I was ordered to capture you so I can get lots of money. I'm a bounty hunter and a thief of sorts."


Scythe chuckled childishly and ripped the strap off of her blindfold.


"We are currently outside of the Article 3 Manor. I flew you over here but damn you're heavy...anyways. I'll set some ground rules. Hurt me. I kill you. Try to rat me out. I kill you. Run away...I won't kill you but I'll leave my imagination to that, heh. Also, try to provoke me in any way I'll kill you. And if you talk to anyone else in public or private, I'll kill you but it would be a slow painful death by mental bombardment. Let me demonstrate..."


He put the coil right next to Brianna's ear and pushed a few dials on his wrist. A high-pitch squeal resonate from the device and directly into her ear canal.


"If I keep this up for thirty more seconds you will go into convulsions and eventually paralytic shock, thus stopping your heart permanently. Understand, doll?"

"The bastard could fly. He can be anywhere..."


Edal had another coil in his armor, and was up on his feet. He sighed and adjusted his helmet at Trebuchet's comment and added onto it.


"Yes. He could be anywhere. And If I know him well enough, he will either pawn Brianna off for prostitution, fusion experimentation, or even J'kara herself."

He disengaged his hand and slapped a pair or magnetized handcuffs around her wrists.


"You may gain my trust in time, but for now you're being locked up. First you must prove yourself you won't disobey your captor so you can move freely."


Scythe stood straight and pulled Brianna to stand too.


"I may be a 'bag guy' but I have standards too."

"Squads 2 through 6 search for my daughter around the Kalos region. Squads 7 through 10 look around the Manor's perimeter."


Edal turned towards Kristina and hugged her.


"Don't worry. We'll find her."
