Luna gave a little friendly wave to the girl before disappearing inside her cabin. She had had enough for tonight. She took a quick shower, then climbed into bed with the radio on. Everyonce in a while her fingers grazed her stomach, praying that Dante could help her tommorow

Kira nodded and hopped down the porch steps before making her way towards Dante's cabin. She paused, looked around for a moment, and walked to outside the lodging area. She found a place where the grass was relatively soft and reached into her bag to pull out a blanket. Quickly morphing into her wolf form to keep a little warmer, Kira took the bag strap between her teeth and pulled it close to use as a pillow of sorts before quickly dozing off.

Silently Fang opened his eyes. He yawned and stretched it was mourning now. He doubted anything had happened while he was sleeping then again he could be wrong. He stood up and walked out of his room as he looked around quietly. Today he was scouting with the Alpha speaking if which where was he. "Gabriel?" He asked softly looking around.

Kira would open her eyes to morning light and yawn, sliding her tail across the damp grass before getting up and nudging her blanket into her bag. Picking the strap up between her teeth, Kira trotted off to somewhere discrete and changed back into her human form then into her usual jeans, flannel shirt, and jacket. Heading back to the cabin grounds, Kira donned a dark fedora and approached the cabin previously indicated to be "Dante"'s.

(Unconstrained screaming)

She laughed, then winked. "Fat chance, Sam." Standing, she paced around for a few seconds, before turning to face him. "Want to go... catch something to eat with me?" Ollie asked, glancing at the door. She was getting the munchies (lol) and there would be plenty of prey, given the time of day (or night).

Sam chuckled. "Ah... Yeah... I'll pass. I've seen too many dead animals for today." He laughed again.

He got up and transformed, though climbing onto the couch.

"I'll be here. Yelp if you need anything."

Ollie smiled at him, walking through the door before shifting. She padded away into the woods beyond the cabin, choosing to search for prey near a river north of the house that prey animals frequented. An hour later, she returned in human form, hands and mouth bloodied. She looked down at her palms and mumbled a quick "Uh, I need to use your bathroom." The sound of running water could be heard as she turned on the shower and stepped inside.

Kate followed and regarded his readiness, without order she slipped quietly out of sight. She reemergence around the north side of the clearing where a small openin existed, small enough to disregard, but big enough to allow escape and Kate would not have such a prize slip away. She had noticed his comicall try at being descrete but kept her amusement to herself. She locked eyes with him, the only part of her that was visible in the shadows where she lurked, she blinked slowly and waited for him to advance. @shadowz1995
Victor admittedly felt ridiculous down on his belly as he was. When he hunted, he would rely on sudden ambushes to take down his prey rather than stealth because his big body and luminiscent ruby eyes gave him away more times than not. He had to remind himself a few times not to stand suddenly out of pride. Victor locked eyes with Kate and he could see the amusement dancing inside of them. Of course she found it funny. Any normal person would. It still didn't stop his low growl of annoyance.

When she gave the signal, Crimson nodded and inched up closer to the elk. It didn't take long for the wounded animal to suddenly become alert. Its tan ears raised quickly and it scanned the surrounding area quickly. Victor knew that as soon as its gaze fell in his direction, he would be spotted. The solution was simple. With a gutteral growl, the large alpha launches himself at the deer, causing it to try and stand in a panic. Victor did not hesitate. He dove straight into the Elk's range and caught a few sharp hooves on the way in, cutting a few centimeters into his chest, left shoulder, and to the left of the abdomen. The wounds did not deter him, however, and it certainly did not stop the serrated fangs that sunk into the Elk's carotid artery. The blood rushed into Victor's mouth and it drove him close to a frenzy. The large wolf dug deep and yanked in multiple directions viciously, trying to tear the fatal wound open further. It took all of his restraint, self control, and another sharp hoof to the rear left thigh for Crimson to let go of the Elk and allow Kate to finish the prey off.

Kate's ears pricked up as she heard him growl and she offered a quite apologetic whimper in return. And then he charged and the amusement in her eyes changed to wonder.

She patiently waited for him to calm before even approaching him. As she came close she habitually touched noses with him again, another routine gesture that she hadn't thought twice about. Kate passed up the gaping wound and went straight for the beast's abdomen: bowing her head she sank her impressive canines into the soft under belly and with a strong jerk, ripped it clean open and mindfully nosed her way through the carnage, pulling the liver free and carefully biting a chunk about a third of it's size away. She then stood again and trotted off to the edge of the clearing and stashed it under a thick tangle of brambles. She had only done it because her father had always done it and when she was old enough she was taught to just do it with everything, she hadn't known it was a tradition started in the old packs shared by only alphas.

As she returned Kate somehow managed to pick up the scent of his blood through all of the stags on his pelt. She approached casually and calmly sniffed at his injuries, her ears dropping back. @shadowz1995

The scarred wolf shook his head dismissively when the she wolf realized he had been lightly wounded. "It's nothing." He thought. It was something Victor always said, no matter how severe the injury may be but this time it was nothing big. Nothing that wouldn't heal in a few days. Still, the way she fed commanded some respect. Only leaders of wolf packs ate that way. Only alphas did it like that. This had, admittedly, peaked Victor's curiousity and he gave her a second look. A little closer this time. As he regarded her, he thought about how this was the second time she had touched noses with him. It had....unsettled him. Normally that was something only done between family.....or mates. At least, where he came from in the harsh tundras. Maybe things worked differently here? She wasn't looking at him in any different way or in a way that would make him suspicious. She did it very casually. As if it was routine. He would have to make note of that for later.

When Kate finished eating her fill is when Crimson stepped in and started tearing into the fallen prey. It had been days since he last had a meal and this was quite the bounty.

Kate huffed and rolled her eyes as he brushed off the wounds, she'd make a note of them.

Before she moved away she snapped off a large splayed hoof with her strong jaws. She slipped off to give him space to eat, laying down comfortably almost at the edge of the clearing. She held the hoof down between her massive paws and freely chewed away on the strong tissue, her tail slowly slapping the ground in a gentle back and forth motion. @shadowz1995

After Victor had ate his fill (basically half of the herbivore) he lightly padded over to the interesting female and laid down beside her. He was doing anything but relaxing though. Victor's ears were perked and his gaze was very cautious and attentive. He was watching their surroundings while she ate. Wolves were powerful creatures but even they had moments were they were at their most vulnerable. Feeding was one of those moments and Victor wasn't about to let his hunting partner be harmed mid hunt. He also felt strangely protective of this wolf. "Strange....very strange." He thought as he kept a watchful eye.

Kate lightly tossed the hoof and caught it, snapping harshly and with a loud pop, the hoof finally cracked just as he layed down next to her. She took the opportunity to more thouroghly investigate his wounds, openly grumbling her discontent with them.

She noted his uneasiness and it set her off. She raised her muzzle into the air and her ears lifted exopertly. She remained like that, turning her head and twitching her ears like radar dishes until she was satisfied, nothing. She huffed and her gaze finally fell back onto him, "what's your problem?" She was confused, not sure why he was so on guard, it wasn't precautionary, it was almost..protective? Kate wasn't sure, why would he any way? He must've picked up on something she hadn't, it was the only thing she could think of at least. @shadowz1995

"Many of my friends died while feeding. One of our vulnerable moments. I'm just watching your back." The grumbling noise amused him and he couldn't resist a Wolfy grin. Victor decides to lean over and nudge her with his injured shoulder with no signs of pain, at least none that he let show, to prove to her that it truly was nothing. He would probably let her examine him later just to appease her irritation.

"You're not fooling anybody except that elk." She snickered, her own grin spread. She took the opportunity, prodding the bloody matts of fur with her nose. Kate got to her feet, impatiently nudging him to get up as well. She wanted them at least cleaned before she'd even think about letting it slide. @shadowz1995

"Yes ma'am." The alpha barks out a short laugh before standing with her when proded to. As he stood, he couldn't help the wince from the final strike of the elk on his rear left leg. The movement got a short growl out of him and a longer growl of frustration before he turned to Kate. "It really is nothing, I promise."

Kate moved to support his flank, blatantly ignoring him. She nudged him again, urging him westward. She brushed against him and her attention was drawn to the blood that smeared her side. Her impatience preceded her and she huffed, her shoulder blocking him from advancing before she laid into him. Kate was quick and more importantly efficient as she gently cleaned his wound. She was extra careful where the wound was deep, but still inspected for any debris lingering when she was finished. @shadowz1995

"That's unnecessary Miss....." Victor protested. When he realized she was no longer listening and stubbornly going for it anyway, the wolf let out a short sigh before allowing her to clean his wounds, albeit slightly exasperated. "I'm fine really. It just stings Miss. Honest." Victor figured the protesting was pointless but he would still complain.

"You're an exceptionally terrible liar, you might as well just give it up." Kate rumbled in a lifted mood, giving him an additional once over before finally being satisfied and giving in to his protests. She gave him his space and began to deal with the blood smeared across her pelt without missing a beat. As she continued she began to think about the male in more questioning detail, as far as she was concerned she had his trust. After all she didn't go around breaking bread with everyone. But where was he headed, why be here at all? @shadowz1995

Gabriel had had a good sleep. He yawned as he woke up. Today, he would take that Faolin fellow for walk, making sure he could trust him. Trust was important.

"You have my gratitude...." As she finished up and was seemingly satisfied, Victor watched her for a few moments as she moved on to clean her own fur of the blood and gore from the elk. "Well, she helped me." He thought as he went over to the smaller wolf and began to help her clean herself. Just the hard to reach places like the center of her back or the shoulders. Particularly hard to reach those places. Victor didn't particularly mind being bloody. He spent most of his life that way and it was easier to wash off in human form anyway.
