"He harmed you, kidnapped Alfred, shot Romeo... I'll be as bloody angry as I please!"  Now that everyone was safe, Arthur's thoughts were set on vengeange.  And overhearing Gilbert's remark that any of the missing nations could be captured as well, on rescuing them and stopping Whitney.  But Gilbert's shout made him jump, startled.  "What is it?  What's wrong?"

Alfred carried romeo and set him in the cave.  "Sorry. I took a few shots. He fired on you two."

(By the way, sorry for that last post; didn't see who Kiku was replying to and thought it was Arthur.  Edited it to make it comply with Kiku talking to Gilbert.)

He followed the others into the cave, keeping close to his brother, and once Seborga was set down, sat beside him.  "Don't say that... Ti amo.  You don't need to; you'll have years and years to say that.  You will."  After living for over a thousand years, Feliciano had learned hope alone couldn't save someone - not Grandpa Rome, not Holy Roman Empire, and it hadn't helped him find Lovino or Ludwig - but he denied all that fiercely.  He wasn't willing to let his brother go, and he refused to even consider the possibility.

~Seborga/Romeo~

"Fratello....."

I'd cough....

"I don't want to let go fratello...."

I'd cough again....

"But what if it makes me...?"

I finally had my brother...I finally had him. And now, I might just slip away. I dont want to slip away but this pain burning inside me is telling me different. It's screaming for me to die....

And its all that blasted Americans fault...

"Ti amo.....Ti amo cosi tanto...."

Please don't fade away world....

"No," Feliciano murmured, his voice growing louder, more terrified as his brother's became weaker.  "Ti amo!  Per favore, non lasciare, non adesso!"  He choked back a sob, clutching his brother's hand tightly.  "Please, no, you have to stay!"

Seborga

My eyes begin to close, even as I fight to keep them open. The only thing keeping me alive is his sobs. I wont let him suffer.

Even then. I fall into a sleep.

But I know I'm not dead.

I don't know how but I know.

As Romeo's eyes closed, Felicano felt for a pulse on his wrist, and let out a shuddering sigh of relief when he found one.  He could only hope it wouldn't fade.  Taking quick, jarring breaths between sobs, he worked to regain his composure.  Eventually, he grew quiet, and, still holding tightly to his brother's hand, slumped back against the wall of the cave, intent on staying until Romeo opened his eyes again.

The sight of Seborga losing conciousness again and Italy's tearful reaction set Arthur's plan in stone, and he turned to the others, determination clear on his face.  "I'm going out to find Whitney and make sure he hasn't got any of the missing nations and won't have a chance to harm anyone else."  His injured arm wouldn't do him much aid, but he could still use the other to shoot a gun or throw a punch, and he still had his good sense and fair tracking skills.  "Who's coming with me?"

Prussia

I guess being injured doesn't matter.

For the Prussian or British.

"Count me in."

Italy's cries from the corner needed vengeance.

This would be it.

I drew a long skinny sword from my back.

"Who is with us!"

"Fur Italien!"

She had been standing on the sidelines for the whole time really but something in her mind seemed to click once she heard that Russia was in trouble. She of course felt bad for the Italian, she could imagine how distressing it would be if either of her siblings were in that condition."I'll come along." she said though this wasn't entirely for the Italian but maybe a little bit of her agreeing had to do with him.

Ellen called out to see if anyone wasaround. She had heard to shots go off and was startled by them and her pace quickened to a run. She followed to sound of the shots to a clearing , she called out once again scared she was alone with the attacker and possible killer.

Philippines

This entire time, Maria was oddly quiet and silent, completely unlike her usual cheerful and bubbly disposition. Slowly but surely, her wide and expressive deep brown eyes gradually sharpened, betraying not even a single emotion as they darkened to a charcoal black. A different side of hers was making an appearance, a side she liked to call Rajah, after the fierce leaders and warriors of her tribes.

"I will also join you on your quest, young warrior." Maria stated to Arthur eloquently with a bow of her head before reaching up to tie her hair up into a bun, since leaving it down will only bring her disadvantages. "You can rely upon me if you require a specialist in bladed weaponry." She said, discreetly patting both sides of her waist where she had her ginunting swords sheathed, both of which were appropriately named Mors and Desperatio respectively.

While she hasn't shown this side of hers since World War II, nor has she fought since then, Maria's skill with a blade were not to be laughed at, especially when she uses arnis techniques for her swordplay. Though she was young as a nation, roughly eighty years in age, she had existed long before that, since 50,000 BC to be exact.[1] Though, of course, not everyone is aware of this fact, since she was not as technologically advanced as the others.

[1] The first evidence of the systematic use of Stone Age technology in the Philippines is estimated to have existed since 50,000 BC, meaning to say, people had inhabited the country even before that time.

"...Lovely."  Arthur was a bit surprised by the nation's sudden change in perosnality, but if it meant having a competent warrior on his side, he wasn't complaining.  However, yet another person with a weapon made him regret joining the cruise unarmed.  Was no one else not expecting a quest for vengeance?  He couldn't just stay weaponless, though, not with danger seeming to be around every corner.  For now, he'd go with the group and rely on his wits, he decided, but once he got back to camp, he'd make himself a bow and arrows from the wood around, whatever spare string he could find, and someone's blade to carve points in the arrows.  It'd be a bit crude, but he was a good shot and had been around long enough to have years of experience with bows, so skill would have to make up for the lack of a more technologically advanced weapon.  And while he'd have to wait for his arm to heal before using it, as a nation, that would take only a week, perhaos even less.

"Anyone else?"

He looked around, taking stock of the group clustered throughout the cave and clearing.  Arthur couldn't quite put a finger on it, but it seemed like one of them was missing.  He ran through a mental list of all the nations in their ragtag party of survivors, sure everyone was acounted for.  And yet, a sense that he was forgetting something - someone? - still lingered.

"Just a moment, young warrior, there is another matter that needs to be adressed first." Maria, or more accurately, Rajah, interrupted Arthur, her charcoal black eyes narrowing as she remembered something that the nation had said just moments ago. Looking over at the other countries that were with them, she clicked her tongue in slight irritation when she noticed a discrepancy in their group, something did not sit quite well with her.

"Where is the sister that you had mentioned when we first encountered each other?" Rajah questioned, turning back to Arthur with a raised eyebrow. With each fleeting moment that he did not answer, she felt an anger welling up in the pit of her stomach. For a nation like herself, family was of utmost importance, and to just forget about them, even for a moment, was considered blasphemy to her.[1] "Surely you did not forget something of that importance." She inquired with an almost mocking tone, crossing her arms over her chest.

[1] In the Philippines, it can be said that everyone is related to each other, since we often adress others, usually when they are older than us, as Ate and Kuya. (Older Sister and Older Brother.)

Oh, bullocks, Ellen's still missing, Arthur realized.  With Maria's prompting, he once again recalled who they'd left behind while running from Whitney, and instantly felt guilt wash over him.  How could he have been so forgetful?  It was much like with Mathew, he thought; Arthur wanted to look out for her just as he did for him, but he was so used to being amognst much more talkative nations - Prussia, Italy, France, and most of the other European countries -  that he wasn't attentive to those who were quieter.

"Well, I - I..."  As he started to speak, Arthur realized that his excuse was anything but; Ellen was his sister, and whatever his lack of acquaintance with his family members in the United Kingdom and however much of a habit he had of ignoring the less outspoken nations, if he'd learnt anything in the past couple days on the island, it was that family really was important.  He should have been responsible, should have made sure she was safe.  And now, for all he knew, Whitney could have found her, she could be injured or... he shuddered, realizing she could have lost her life by now and he'd have been none the wiser.  For a moment, he hesitated, knowing he couldn't defend himself, then finally spoke, a new sort of surity in his tone.

"You're entirely right; I had a chance to go back for her, but in the chaos, I was only focused on getting back to camp, and I'm to blame for whatever happens to her.  I can't remedy that now, but I can take the search party back to where I last saw her, not far from where we confronted Whitney.  And if I can, I will save her.  You have my word."

Alfred tossed his gun to arthur. "Use that. I'll stay with the camp."

Kiku had found his sword, and stood ready. "I'll come along."

Arthur caught the gun with a nod of thanks, glad for something to defned himself with.

By now, most of the group had settled on who would stay or go, but he noticed the Irelands still hadn't spoken.  His gaze strayed in their direction and he opened his mouth as if to speak, to say something more than the hasty conversation he'd had with Joshua the day before, perhaps even ask them to join the group.  But pride got in the way; after years of dispute, he wasn't used to exchanging kind words, much less asking for their help, so after a moment's thought, Arthur settled for for a neutral remark.  "We should be back before nightfall," he informed the two.  As to whether that 'we' included them, he left that for his siblings to decide for themselves.

"Let's go.  We've only got a few hours left of daylight, and going after him in the dark would be pointless."

Ellen was starting to get scared as nobody was responding to her calls. She started to fidget and look around to see if anyone was around, she spotted shell casing on the floor and quickly examined them to see if she can figure out what gun it came from. She picked one up and placed it in her pocket to compare with some bullets back at camp, as fare as he can tell it came from a rifle possibly a sniper rifle or hunters rifle. Ellen placed down the shirt full of fish and took the stick out and held it tightly in case she needed it , her desert eagle was in her bag along with her switch blade.

She walked around the clearing incase someone was hiding from her.

"Let me give you something just in case, young warrior." Rajah stated as she took a step forward, taking Arthur's much larger hand within her own. Slipping something rather small out of her pocket, she placed it on top of his palm, before closing his grip tightly. "If that gun were to run out of bullets, this is something that will protect you from harm if you so choose." If Arthur were to open his hand at that moment, he would come face to face with a sheathed karambit, which is a, believe it or not, farming tool in her country. However, it can also double as a weapon, if you know enough to use it like that.

Limping out of the cave, I realized England was right. The sun was getting lower in the sky. We would have to find Ellen fast.

"Which way to where you saw Whitney last?"

England

"This way."  Arthur began to lead the group through the jungle, tucking the small, claw-shaped dagger inside a pocket of his coat, which was still serving as a makeshift slilng for his wounded arm.  Should the enounter with Whitney fail, he reasoned, having a concealed weapon would do them well.

It was a good few miles' walk before the reached the part of the jungle near the beach where they'd been attacked and he'd last seen Ellen.  Arthur drew to a halt, pausing to listen.  The faint, rhythmic sounds of footsteps over leaves and twigs drifted through the air, and he pointed towards a clearing just visible through the trees some distance away.  "Whitney hardly makes a sound when he walks; it's got to be her.  Come on!"  He began to hurry, nearly jogging in his hast.  AS they neared the sound of the footsteps, he called out quietly.

"Ellen!"
