"There's a million things I haven't done," Alexander whispered. "Just you wait."
"And you can do those any other day. Rest."
Alexander looked up at John with an intense expression. "There's no rest for the weary."
"You need a nap."
"Hercules Mulligan!" Angelica laughed. "He was one hell of a character."
"That's an understatement." Thomas joked, and smiled, "Did a hell of a job though, I'm not going to lie."
"No, you really need a nap.
Alexander shook his head. "No, I don't. I'll sleep when I have the time."
"Alexander, you'll kill yourself if you do that. Do it for Eliza if you have no other reason."
"Really did. He was quite fantastic." Angelica looked up at the clock. "Damn I wish I were in the revolution."
"Wish you were in the revolution? Why's that?" Thomas asked and cocked his head.
Alexander paused. "I... I'll try to find time."
"I could have done so much more to make an impact on the world. Probably could have gotten women written into the constitution."
"Thank you."
"Knowing you, I have no doubt in my mind you could make that happen. Well, don't think of what you could do in the past, think about the future."
Angelica sighed and nodded. "I guess. I just... Thomas, do ever feel like no matter what you do it will never be enough to be satisfied?"
"At times..? Is this about the new kid..?" Thomas asked, he wasn't to thrilled about hearing about him, but it was understandable, he just didn't like it.
"No. Well, kind of. He strikes me as a guy who will never be satisfied." Angelica said casually. "I don't think I could ever be satisfied with myself."
"Why not?" Thomas asked confused, usually when he heard about Angelica, it was usually about.. Well anything besides not being satisfied, "You seem to have a nice life, give or take a few things."
Alexander sighed and splashed some of the sink water on his face.
Eliza sat alone in the band room and was terrified that she had done something horribly wrong and she thought he would be angry.
Alexander went back to class with water still dripping off his face. "Hey, Eliza." He whispered as he sat next to her.
"Alexander, are you okay? I'm sorry if it was my fault," she said softly.
