Fantasy Excelius:Academy of the Arcane Arts (Completed)
He mused over the idea. "I suppose not. If you do become interested, I can teach it to you."
Ame hummed a little and smiled, "Okay!" Then, she stopped suddenly, serious and in thought. "Do you know who teaches life magic around here?" she asked.

"Life Magic? No. However, Professor Shaltaea teaches Healing Magics if you're interested." He said. "Otherwise you might want to seek out the headmaster."

@Kazehana

Moving at a hurried pace Prof. Shaltaea eventually made it to the orientation room several minutes after he departed from his classroom, his walking cane making a tapping every time it met with the floor. It seemed much more busy now that he occupied space within the room. The red points of light that were his eyes looked over the room. Ignoring the information his Deathwatch power was giving him he quickly locates the Archemage and the students he was there in the group with. As he approaches he takes another look towards the bloodied boy he was asked to attend to. "I hope you weren't waiting too long." the lich remarks as he closed in on them.

@Cruor Flumine

As Prof. Shaltaea walked past the Archemage and the other student he noticed she seemed very hesitant to be near him. "If it's just my appearance that frightens you, please try to relax. It's for the safety of everyone here that I'm dressed like this." he says to her as he passes, trying to get her to be more at ease. Looking back at the boy he saw small bits bits of spiritual energy that obviously didn't belong to him. "Since he doesn't seem able to properly speak does someone care to inform me a little as what is going on?" he asks. It was clear that at least some of this blood belonged to someone else.

Varien nodded. "He came here after his village was slaughtered. It's obvious that he has experience severe mental trauma. He cannot remember the last time he slept, ate, or had a drink. I considered putting him to sleep, but decided against it."

@CoreyXIX

"A wise choice. It would likely do more than harm than good." Prof. Shaltaea remarks in agreement with his coworker's assessment. In little time at all the lich was channeling the soft, glowing blue energies of his healing magic. "Please hold still while I apply my magic, young one." he says as a precaution as as the magic snaked away from his gloved hands and to the injured boy, moving over the afflicted areas and healing him.

"My shouts are actually part of the reason I want to learn destruction and blood magic, like Bloodfire," said Gold. He explained how he knew what blood fire was by saying, "We do a lot of studying on stuff. We find books, we read them."

Varien nodded. "Well that would be my job then to teach you. I may also be a necromancer, but fire magic is my specialty." He reached around and patted the girl on her head. "Don't worry, I don't use it on my students."

Ame was still very much shaken up. she's never had to deal with a fire mage in such close quarters, but she had to start sometime. She gave a brief nod indicating her understanding, but still wasn't completely comfortable. You have to at least try, come on Ame. The pat struck her as surprising at first, but she found she was okay with it. She focused on trying to get to know the others around her for now. Not having much interaction with terrestrial races, she wasn't quite sure what a 'shout' was, but she figured she could look it up later or something. Knowing that the man/men talking to the professor practiced fire and blood magic made her wary of the whole shebang.

Noticing her, Gold walk up, and sees her vague confusion. "Lemme guess," he says. "You wanna know what a Shout is."

Âme immediately shook her head no. "I know what it is," she stammered. It turns out that her fear of fire actually overwhelms her already powerful moral compass. She was ready to dart at any time, but didn't want to cause a scene or suspicion of herself. So, she decided to stay put in her place behind the professor. It was oddly comforting to know she could use him as a shield if necessary, but maybe it was the way he treated her. She shook her head; she didn't know. But then again, it didn't really matter.

"Regardless, once classes start I can see what I can do about teaching you new shouts. as for her, we can show her later." The Archemage said, now wondering if there were any new ones in his office.

At the stairs, Zadaine tried to study them, knowing these were going to ruin his life.

"So in order to get to the fourth floor you must go to the third, head to the north stairs that take back down to the second. Go about 20ft down to those stairs and then your on the fourth!" He smiled victoriously for a full minute then realized his directions sounded illogical, "Wait, what?! Okay, go up the first stairs--" He continued to concentrate.

A loud echoing pounding sound originated behind him. His concentration broke making him jump back with alarm. Her tone was more than irritated, but clearly that of a woman's.

"I'm-ah- studying! I swear, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." He straighten his posture, even lowering his head a bit.

@Veyd Sahvoz

Ah, so he could speak after all! "You're welcome,child." he replies as the magical tendrils finish the job, even going as far as to take some of the blood on him into themselves as they snaked back to Prof. Shaltaea and absorbed into himself. "Can you tell me your name?" he asks the young boy. As a faculty members, he had an obligation to look into this and see was happening.

Âme wasn't sure what he meant by showing her later. Perhaps he couldn't be really loud here for some reason. At any rate, she silently agreed so that they wouldn't figure out that she had no idea what she was doing. She looked at Gold, then at the professor. "Uhm, do either of you know this school very well? I'm not sure where anything is," she prompted, hoping to get away from both the awkwardness of the possible fire magic and the scary professor altogether.
