Fantasy Dragon's Roar 3: Rise of The Dark Arts ( Finished )

[Light]

Dru and Fahy had moved away from the Dragon and watched as the group split up they were unsure what they could do or what they should do. There was so much going on they were just worried about staying up right at the moment. @Light

Krios types at his screens and turns to the twins. "We should prepare to leave now." Krios walks up to the dragon.

Bruce keeps ready to blow this person away with the Grandmafinger should the need arise, even holding the cocoon a little behind him. "Well there's giant monster that's tearing apart Vegas, it seems one of our guild members has been turned against us, nobody likes Dragon's Roar, and everything is shit."

Sierra examines his gun and takes a look a the cocoon he's hiding. "You can relax, I'm not going to hurt you. What's that thing behind your back?"

Jackie pets Julie's scales, "Chill. Bruce went after the egg, he'll probably be back with it soon. For now, I need to know if you're capable of flying. We're retreating."
The woman grabs Raven by the back of shirt and pushes her forward, forcing her to leave the body behind. "If you permit me to speak freely, I don't understand why you would put so much trust into a variable. Not only can the spell you have over him be broken, but you should also remember, powerful or not, he's just a mutt."

From a rooftop, Alpha watches the Dragon's Roar members. He was too weak to take them all on now, and he knew that. There was no point in a fight he couldn't win. He was starved, and his powers were weak. He would need to feast before the next battle. However....
Alpha leaps off the roof, disappearing before he hit the ground. Alpha reappeared on Julie's back, sitting cross-legged. Completely ignoring Julie, Hekate, and Jackie, Alpha's eyes zeroed in on Emily. Beta growled at Alpha, but those growls quickly turned to whimpers when he received Alpha's glare. "Emily dear, I believe that you have something that belongs to me," he said.

Julie gets up immediately when Alpha appears on her back, flapping her wings to answer Jackie's question.


Emily starts to back away from Alpha. She knew he wasn't in his right mind and clutches the sword to her chest. She would guard it with her life. "I won't let you have it! You'll have to kill me first!" She hoped Alpha would be set back into his right mind. She knew he usually wouldn't lay a hand on her.

Sierra examines his gun and takes a look a the cocoon he's hiding. "You can relax, I'm not going to hurt you. What's that thing behind your back?"

Bruce still kept on edge, even if he could trust this woman not to attack him there were still other dangers. "It's... our guild leader. Her version of a coma. Kinda makes us look a bit pathetic right now."

Julie gets up immediately when Alpha appears on her back, flapping her wings to answer Jackie's question.

At Jackie's question, he glances at her, his piercing gaze locked onto her movements. "I've never felt better," he replies. "Jackie, would you be a dear and hand me my sword?"

Jackie climbs on to Julie's back, taking her rise as acceptance to her words. Jackie stills under his watch, then goes stiff when she notices that he's watching her movement, her lips tightening into a thin line when he refers to her as 'dear'. She moves her leg so that she can push Emily back behind her. "Never felt better, he says," She echoes him, then looks directly back at him, studying his face his expression and his movements with a calculating expression, though her eyes give away her partial confusion and hold dawning realization, "You called me dear, just then. Ish. Somebody might think you're going soft if you keep up with nicknames like that, Alpha."

"That's your guild leader?" Sierra starts to think for a moment. "You know... my cousin has spoke about you all before."

"Like I said, everything is shit right now. She's usually a lot more active than now. Who's your cousin? Is it someone I know?"

Fahy and Dru looked at each other and Dru asked quietly "Why? we just got here." They both however begin looking around making sure they have everything and begin getting on the dragon to leave.

Slowly, Alpha stands up, his eyes not leaving Jackie's. "Jacqueline, give me the sword," he growled, walking towards them. "Now."

Jackie lowers her hand and claps it over Emily's mouth, speaking low even though she knows Alpha will hear her regardless. She doesn't break eye contact with Alpha, feeling the weird instinct that it might send him into action if she did. "Emily, be quiet," Her voice isn't sharp, but very clear and very calm.

Emily was shaking due to the fact that Alpha seemed serious.


Once Dru and Fahy get on Julie they can see this dispute going on. By the looks of it things were getting hostile.

"Like I said, everything is shit right now. She's usually a lot more active than now. Who's your cousin? Is it someone I know?"

"Well my cousins are Sonter and Mist." Sierra seemed to relax on the bike. "It'd be nice if you put the gun down. It makes me uncomfortable. I don't want to pull out mine to feel safe."

Slowly, Alpha stands up, his eyes not leaving Jackie's. "Jacqueline, give me the sword," he growled, walking towards them. "Now."

Her eyes had finally left his face to make sure Emily was okay and was going to keep quiet, but snap back to him when he uses her full name, her eyes rounding in a mixture of surprise and fear. Leaning down to take the sword from Emily, she holds the prized weapon behind her back, whispering low, "Emily, run. Now," She pushes the girl back slightly with her calf, not moving an inch to save her own skin despite the fact Alpha's coming very close to her with a furious look that he's never given her, and the fact she's now standing there terrified of her best friend. Though she wants to just give him the god damn sword so he won't kill her - which is looking very likely by the look of murder in his eyes - she doesn't, instead looking up into eyes as she musters up any bravery left in her body. "And if I don't?"

"Well my cousins are Sonter and Mist." Sierra seemed to relax on the bike. "It'd be nice if you put the gun down. It makes me uncomfortable. I don't want to pull out mine to feel safe."

"Sonter and Mist? Wow, I didn't see that coming but then again it makes a little bit of sense. I can't put it down any more than this," his arm was merely hanging at his side at the moment "be glad I'm not pointing it at you. I want to be ready for any danger since there's more than my life at stake if I'm not careful. I almost caused her death, preventing her death from actually occurring is the least I could do for her. I don't think you're a threat so don't worry about the gun."

(!) In response, one of Alpha's clawed hands lashes out, wrapping itself around Jackie's neck. Lifting her up to eye level, he replies, his voice low and menacing. "I will kill you here and now." In Jackie's hands, the sword seems to pulse with heat. A voice that sounds similar to Alpha's whispers in her mind. "If you wish to live, stab him."

In response, one of Alpha's clawed hands lashes out, wrapping itself around Jackie's neck. Lifting her up to eye level, he replies, his voice low and menacing. "I will kill you here and now." In Jackie's hands, the sword seems to pulse with heat. A voice that sounds similar to Alpha's whispers in her mind. "If you wish to live, stab him."

Her eyes widen in fearful recognition, her thoughts going from he's probably just going to take it to oh my god he's going to fucking break my neck like a fucking twig holy shit in about point two seconds, as he lifts her off the ground like she weighed no more than paper. Even though she knew it was fruitless to even try and escape his grasp, she used her free hand to slice into his hand viciously with her nails, her feet kicking hard out at anything they can reach. When she hears a voice within her head that doesn't belong to Sanctum, she stills, then looks at Alpha with an owlish, guilt-ridden gaze as the words sink in. "I'm sorry," She rasps out, tears welling in her eyes at what she's about to do to him, then, with the momentum and force of her entire body, drives the sword through Alpha's gut all the way to the hilt of the blade.

Suddenly the hooded woman appears behind Alpha using the symbol on his body. "Don't do that... we need her." She notices the stab wound in Alpha and doesn't do a thing about it. She assumes the medics back at the base could attend to him if he lived. She needed to focus on Jackie.


Raven appears at the scene as well. Only to have Emily run towards her instead of running away like Jackie told her to. "Raven!"


The hooded woman merely grabs Emily up by her neck once she approaches Raven and lifts her off of the ground.

His flesh then begins to burn away, followed by his muscles and organs. Leaving behind nothing but a charred skeleton. The skeleton reaches out and gently strokes Jackie's face, before it crumbles into ash. The sword clatters down onto Julie's back, shattering upon impact.

Sierra looks at the calming storm above her then back at Bruce. "Well you shouldn't be lingering alone with her if you're trying to protect her. Let's say somebody were to shoot you down. Then what?"

"Then I guess I wouldn't be dead and wouldn't be able to protect her. This right here is the only bullet that'll even hurt me as far as I know. It's the only one that Grandma ever made. Other attacks I could see coming. Besides, considering all of what was going on over there I thought it'd be safer. But then again, it could've calmed down by now."

With the twins out of the storm beast Kai'zen took the opportunity to finish it off, his body moved in a flash as he tore into it's neck he made sure to break its neck and sever major arteries before using a claw to split open it's chest. Storm beasts always had a core, and that core would add to Kai'zen's power. Finding the small gem he gazed at it watching the miniature storm inside before devouring it his body shattering the core and adding the power to his own a grand current of lightning flowed through him illuminating everything. His scales and eyes glowed and electricity and powerful winds rolled off of his massive body so much so that Lucien had to bail. Leaping off of Kai'zen's shoulder he disappeared moving so fast that only a few seconds later he was next to Fayde who had moved to Julie's shoulder. Fayde was biting his lip drawing a blood he was absolutely livid that he wasn't the one to end Alpha his fists were also drawing blood as his nails cut into his flesh. 'Couldn't help Apex.....and now I've failed to avenge Auriel..... I'm useless.' Fayde's energy became erratic before disappearing as he shut down receding and allowing Tereus to reclaim himself. Tereus wasn't any better off his rage visible but withheld.

The hooded woman looks at where Alpha once was. "Hm.... it seems like he was foolish enough to create a weapon that would cause his own demise." She continues to hold Emily above the ground but decides to transport Emily elsewhere using the symbol on her palm.


The hooded woman turns to Jackie. "It's time you've come with us. The beast has been stopped but we can settle for you."

"Then I guess I wouldn't be dead and wouldn't be able to protect her. This right here is the only bullet that'll even hurt me as far as I know. It's the only one that Grandma ever made. Jackie's tears spill over and trail down her cheeks, a sob rising in her throat as he lets her go. She reaches out to him, putting her hands on his biceps so he stays still as she looks at him, barely pulling the words together through the hitches in her breath, "I'm sorry, Alpha; I'm so fucking sorry I did this to you," She holds his hand - his skeletal hand, oh my god she was going to fucking throw up - when he reaches out to her face, then she falls to her knees, holding the ashes that had been his hand to her chest. Coughing from her hiccups and gasping from near hyperventilation, she looked up at the Hodded Woman, her expression turning from self-loathing and grief to borderline psychotic rage as she lunged at her, but was caught around the waist by the woman beside her target. Jackie struggles and thrashes in the woman's grip, shrieking like a mad woman, "You made me kill him! What you did to him made me kill him! Look what you did, look what you fucking did!" Jackie's word are cut off by a gut wrenching sob, and the fight seems to leave her, her efforts to try and get to the Hooded Woman waning until she simply sags in the arms of the woman holding her back as she covers her face with her hand, "I killed him. I killed Alpha."

"Do you need a ride somewhere?" The storm completely ended now. As if whatever caused it disappeared. "I can take you back to your group."

Bruce shrugged "why the hell not. I'll take a ride, as long as this cocoon doesn't affect your driving." He got on behind her on the bike.

In the brief contact the Hooded Woman has with Jackie's skin, a huge surge of corruption rips through her, causing her entire hand to decay and the rest of her arm to start being eaten away. Jackie starts to laugh hysterically even though tears still run down her cheeks and she can't breathe regularly, her eyes wide and reeling, and her entire appearance screams that Jackie has been pushed too far and has finally reached her breaking point. "You think you've won, haven't you, bitch? But just fucking wait! I'm gonna skin you alive when I get my hands on you; I'm gonna burn you at the stake, witch! I'm gonna watch the flesh melt off your bones, I'm going to bathe in your fucking blood-"


The woman holding Jackie captive in her arms strikes her hard across the back of her skull; hard enough to knock the girl unconscious. Picking her up by her hair, she starts to drag her down the hall, gesturing for Raven to follow her, "Have you ever watched a medieval interrogation, girl?"

 

[Light]

The hooded woman sighs. "Another body gone to waste." She simply let's the corruption magic make her body fall apart. One of the other clones would pick up from where she left off.


Raven shakes her head swiftly. "No, I haven't." She follows the woman dragging Jackie by her hair. She wondered about her identity.
