Fantasy Dragon's Roar 3: Rise of The Dark Arts ( Finished )

The 45 foot tall beast drops on the other, only to merge once again into a 90 foot form. Lightning crashes down on the beast and the storm covers the skies around the city. The storm was so erratic lightning bolts were dropping down even 2 seconds after another. The rain was crashing down heavily, while the night sky was making it even darker with the storm clouds. The only things that would light up the area around them were the flashing lightning bolts and whatever buildings still had electricity. Since most of it was absorbed. The rain and thunder made it hard to hear as well.

"At least that means I only have one target to take on now..." she had to keep flying around so that the lightning bolts wouldn't hit her, it was more blind luck than anything else. She decided to try flying right into the thing because why not? So she did just that, going right into the heart of the beast. Probably a bad idea on her part but still.

( ! ) The beast was about to discard its physical form for its electrical one. Once it did that, it would be certain death for her since she'd be enveloped in volts from all sides. It only takes a current of 10 mA to paralyze the body, and the beast was far beyond that. She would be paralyzed and unable to escape when the volts travel through her spinal cord into her mind and also disrupt the beating of her heart.

Dru and Fahy quickly clambered onto the back of the Dragon and say ready to go. Dru was polishing his katana while Fahy was examining the dog further.

The hooded woman taps her sides impatiently. "It seems like someone is watching us... interesting."
Justin groans as the blue mist spreads through his shoulder. Raven seemed concerned but didn't want to harm him any further by touching him. "I'll kill whoever did this!"

"Indeed," She replies, "It appears that someone is not too keen on you, my lady," When Justin groans and Raven shouts, she looks to the girl, her glowing eyes narrowing a silver beneath her hood, "Quiet. Raise your voice again and it may be the last words to come from your throat."

Julie stares up at the burning castle, she slowly nods her head and walks away from them. Once she was far enough she takes dragon form and lays on the ground. Waiting for them to climb on.

Jackie takes her place up by Julie's head, sitting down and patting Julie on the side of her neck. "I know how you feel, kid. After this, we can talk about it if you want."

"Indeed," She replies, "It appears that someone is not too keen on you, my lady," When Justin groans and Raven shouts, she looks to the girl, her glowing eyes narrowing a silver beneath her hood, "Quiet. Raise your voice again and it may be the last words to come from your throat."
Jackie takes her place up by Julie's head, sitting down and patting Julie on the side of her neck. "I know how you feel, kid. After this, we can talk about it if you want."

Once everyone got on her back, Julie takes flight. Leaving the burning castle behind with Lilith in it. Most of the servants would find someplace else to go. Julie was flying faster than usual due to her pent up anger. Once they made it to Vegas Julie decided to descend to a lower altitude and land in the Strip. Which was still extremely dark due to a freak thunderstorm and the night sky, with the addition of portions of the city being drained of its electricity and lights. Rain was pouring heavily making it even harder to hear along with the lightning bolts dropping down 2 seconds after one another. Acting as the only light source for most parts of the city.

"Indeed," She replies, "It appears that someone is not too keen on you, my lady," When Justin groans and Raven shouts, she looks to the girl, her glowing eyes narrowing a silver beneath her hood, "Quiet. Raise your voice again and it may be the last words to come from your throat."

Raven shuts up after this and Justin tries to silence himself. The hooded woman steps out the elevator once they hit the intended floor and finds the room in which the most popular radio station in Vegas resides in. She was going to take a while explaining why the world should turn Dragon's Roar in. Especially since they could easily summon the beast that devoured Europe again. She knew this broadcast would hit the news swiftly and would spread to different countries. Since this is a message to the world. A warning in a sense. If they didn't side with the Dark Arts and turn their guns at Dragon's Roar... things would end up bad for them.


Sierra was rushing towards the building, the engine of her bike roaring as it kicked up shallow flood water. There were police officers driving in her path. Her bike is suddenly shrouded in nemesis mist and starts to drive itself as she pulls out her sniper rifle from her magic bag. She aims at the engine of the car in front of her and fires, causing the police car to stop moving. She shoves the sniper rifle back in her bag and lifts the front wheel of her bike so she can roll on the hood of the car she stopped and shoot off into the air. She wasn't slowing down for shit, her reputation as a contract killer was on the line.

Isaac can see the 90 foot beast rampaging throughout the streets of Vegas absorbing all the electricity of things it passes. To completely answer Isaac's question. Police cars pull up to the group and raise their guns. "Put your hands in the air and turn yourselves in peacefully!" At least 14 officers were surrounding them with their vehicles.
Another branch of officers were trying to handle the beast.

Isaac raised his hands in the air saying. "We don't want any trouble, but we need to stop that beast before this situation gets out of hand so please let us go." Isaac didn't want to fight the police officers, but if he had to he would.

Kai'zen was not present on the back of Julie and was instead flying above them having transformed enouh to allow two massive black wings to sprout from his back he flew alongside Julie having a much easier time keeping up than one would expect he weaving through lightning strikes up until they landed only to have guns pointed at them. Kai'zen stepped up his crimson eyes glowing, angered by the arrogant idea of pointing guns at him or one of his subjects "Look you detestable idiots! You don't have the power to stop that thing. We do, either help us or get the fuck out of the way!!" Kai'zen stepped forward putting himself between the officers and the others except for Julie would was to large for his figure to block.

"This lightning clearly is not natural..we should move to find the source, minimize the chaos as our opponent seems to thrive in such situations." Kai'zen's voice echoed in Julie's mind the first time he had actually spoken since becoming irritated during the fight against Bruce. His mental voice was much gentler than the one he vocally spoke with being soothing but strong it reflected the fact at he at the moment wasn't his true self.


Lucien Altiera and Tereus sat on Julie's back Altiera by Tereus' left and Lucien on his right they braced themselves as they flew Tereus having an angry look on his face kicking himself for making such a foolish mistake with those demons and failing to save the castle Lucien took notice but said nothing while Altiera gently placed a hand on his shoulder removing it after only a few seconds.

Suddenly the sound of a bullet goes off in the storm. "I'm so sorry guys.... I was playing Call of Duty last night. Trigger finger.... My bad." The officer yells over the raging storm.


The bullet hits Julie's scales and lands into the 8 inch water flowing down the streets.


Julie turns and roars at the officers only to receive even more bullets. Which made her even angrier. Most of the officers were putting their focus into capturing Dragon's Roar rather than stopping the beast.

Suddenly the sound of a bullet goes off in the storm. "I'm so sorry guys.... I was playing Call of Duty last night. Trigger finger.... My bad." The officer yells over the raging storm.
The bullet hits Julie's scales and lands into the 8 inch water flowing down the streets.


Julie turns and roars at the officers only to receive even more bullets. Which made her even angrier. Most of the officers were putting their focus into capturing Dragon's Roar rather than stopping the beast.

"I hate all of you." Isaac said using his super speed to subdue the officers, not kill them. Also to make it ironic he handcuffed each cop he subdued to make sure they couldn't fight back.

Kai'zen rolled his eyes at Isaac's solution, "A pitiful punishment...let's continue we have bigger fish to fry. Kai'zen walked off toward the beast growing as he did his human form melted away as a large white dragon took its place Kai'zen had gone from Dark dragon (humanoid form) to Sky dragon his full size was slightly larger than Julie's and lightning crackled down his spines. Kai'zen's voice rumbled like thunder smaller lightning bolts flickering from his mouth as he looked over his shoulder at the others."I'll draw its attention, you work on ways to take it down."

Kai'zen looked back at Isaac, then nodded before spreading his wings lightning bolts changed course and struck him but Kai'zen lifted off without so much as a flinch. As he rose higher to the clouds they wrapped around his wings lightning striking all along his body he soared straight for the beast roaring he unleashed a great bolt of lightning that lit the sky striking the beasts shoulder.

She makes her way to the top and gets in a position to shoot. She had to look at each window to find them. Since the building they were in was mostly glass. Once she found them she puts her finger on the trigger.


She was about to shoot until a woman walks up from behind her. "You know how important his death will be right?"


Sierra rolls her eyes at the woman who hired her to kill Justin in the first place. "Yeah... a lot of money. I got it.... who are you again?"


The woman chuckles and walks away. "Don't worry about my name. Just focus on killing him and getting paid. If you must know so badly I'll tell you something. Let's just say I'm an old friend of both the Dark Arts and Hekate."


Sierra scowls at this and turns around to see nothing. "Shit.... I'm sure she'll appear again with my pay." Sierra turns back to the scope and has the barrel fill up with nemesis mist as she fires with the wind and storm throwing off her bullet situation in mind. The bullet travels the distance and bursts through the window, embedding itself in Justin's neck. More of the blue mist bursts out of the bullet wound and spreads through his body.


Justin falls to the ground, holding his neck as he can barely breath. Blood was gushing out of the entry and exit hole.


"Justin!" Raven runs over to his side to cover the wounds. "Do something!" She yells at the hooded woman.


The hooded woman on the other hand was simply staring out the window. Trying to find the sniper who's managed to hit them twice. "Why him?" She completely ignores Raven's cries for help.


Sierra smiles at her successful shot. "He should be dead in a few seconds." Sierra turns her head to the chaos going on with a dragon and a beast. "Nah.... not any of my business. I'll just watch for now." Sierra gets up and jumps off the building, bursting into nemesis mist when she lands on her bike. Completely surrounding the bike until the wind blew the mist away. Only to reveal nothing.

The beast starts to run down the street towards the Luxor to absorb the electricity from it. Since it was the brightest light in the world. Once it did that, it's goal would be accomplished. The beast had destroyed many buildings in its path and still continues to do so. Yet the police weren't too concerned with it. They were targeting Dragon's Roar.


There's an Air Force Base right around the corner from Vegas. Many jets were on their way.

The beast only grows bigger to 150 feet due to Kai'zen striking it with a great lightning bolt. The lightning bolt Kai'zen struck it with also affected Bruce's sisters inside of it which would make their death come around without the beast even trying if they stayed any longer. "You telling me to give up? Seriously!? Look at the damage that thing is causing how many people it's killed and will kill and all you've done is try to attack me and my friends for helping people! You became a police officer to help people right, then help me." Isaac said pausing to point to The Luxor saying."Tell me how to shut that thing down, or have it shut down somehow because if that thing get's to it, bad things are going to happen"

Despite the storm beasts growth in size he still wasn't as larger as Kai'zen, nor was it nearly as fast. Kai'zen circled around and came at the beast from the front ramming it from the front he had his head under its neck and pushed upwards with great force pushing it up on its hindquarters Kai'zen wrapped his claws around its neck and shoulder slamming it down on its back he drew energy from its body absorbing the energy it had resolving to drain it until as long as possible his tail beat the flanks of the beast and he used powerful gusts of wind from his wings and power to hold it down. 'I just have to keep it down...if I can drain it and get it small enough to the others can finish it off.' That was when Kai'zen noticed a relatively minuscule figure on his shoulder Lucien stood holding onto his scales for support the dragon knight was observing the beast's condition waiting for it to shrink to a small enough size where he wouldn't he wouldn't have to try too hard. Lucien was excessively powerful but was particular about what situations he'd be using his strength in reserving any power twenty five percent and up for those who truly deserved it. "You got it just keep it down."

Before the officer could say any more, his body burst into flames, being reduced to a charred skeleton. If anyone had been paying attention, they would have noticed Alpha approaching the Dragon's Roar members, the very earth itself burning in his footsteps . Alpha grins, his fangs gleaming in the light of the flames.
