Astrid had just flopped over on the the concrete steps putting happily, her tail going a minute a minute as he scrubbed her clean. She shook dry before bounding inside and jumped on the couch

Kain walked inside after her and shut the door behind them. He smiled at her before grabbing a stein and bag. His turn for breakfast. He put the bag in the stein before draining it. He had been hungrier than he thought. He cleaned up after himself before sitting on the other side of the couch. He leaned back, propping his legs up on the coffee table with a sigh, looking over at Astrid.

She was a little confused listening to him. "For what?" She asked curiously, her own head facing his neck, the cedar and maple wrapped around her.​

Astrid was already lights out curled up in a ball on the couch

Eric just nuzzled her giving her a kiss on the neck before he had to physically pulled away “for everything.. giving me a chance, staying, putting up with me.” He mumbled

Kain smiled at her, before he got up, put a comedy movie on and sat back down, leaning into the couch.

She had moved her neck when he placed a kiss there, but then he pulled away. Her wolf growled in her head, making her whine slightly. "Of course, I. I want to stay here with you. Eric.., I w-want. I want you to mark me" She said watching his reaction. Her wolf was practically pacing in her head to do it.​

Amira stirred slightly but after a few hours her wolf finally gave up control and Amira lay curled up asleep on the couch.

Eric frowned when she had the faintest whine but blinked holding her close “You haven’t even gotten settled here Jay.. I don’t want to just being you feel bad for me..”

Kain noticed that Astrid had shifted back and snatched the blanket on the back of the couch and threw it over her sleeping form. He returned to the move with a happy smile.

Jay knew it might've been fast, but her wolf wouldn't relent. She never got a chance with her first mate, and she didn't want to wait for something to happen. "I want you, my wolf wants you. This isn't me feeling bad, this is me telling my mate that I want to be his forever. To have his mark on me. I lost it once, I'm not losing it again" She said, her voice never wavered as she looked at him.​

Astrid snuggled into the blanket but finally started awaking a few hours later with a yawn.

Eric looked up at her quietly as if he was searching her eyes for the catch but sat up rolled her over to pin her to the bed “are you sure Jay… you can’t take this back..”

Kain had finished the movies sequel when he heard the yawn. "Hey sleepyhead" He said looking over at her.

Jay looked up at him before he rolled them over to pin her to the bed. She bit her lip and nodded, baring her neck to her mate. "I know, please Eric" Her wolf was pounding in her head, trying to speed up the process.​

Amira grownrd but smiled softly “hi Kain.. sorry about her she insisted and I didn’t have the energy to argue..


Wric watched her when she confirmed, he wanted her to enjoy it leaning down kissing the spot at the base of her collarbone. His fangs grazed her skin before he sank them into her skin with a faint moan of pleasure. Sitting back he licked his fangs before kissing the mark.He shifted over so he was laying on the bed for her

Kain smiled at her. “I didn’t mind at all. It was very interesting I’ll admit.” He said with a laugh.

Jay smiled as he kissed the spot first, she could feel his fangs on her skin, then she felt him bite her and she purred at the sensation. It was an amazing feeling. He shifted himself and she was looking down at him. Softly she smiled and kissed the same spot before she sunk her teeth in, taking just enough for the mark to be completed. Pulling away, she kissed the mark on his neck. Her wolf was howling in her head in happiness. “I am yours, forever” She told him, giving him a kiss on his cheek.​

Amira sat up looking at him but pulled the blanket over her legs “what did she do?”

Eric reached up cupping both her cheeks and kissed her “as I am yours.” He pulled her down into a tight hug nuzzling her neck careful of the mark though

Kain looked over at her. “Nothing major. She did hunt a deer so I finally tried deer blood which was pretty good. She got me covered in mud by tackling me into a large puddle during the rainstorm last night. Otherwise, she was exploring the area” He explained, sitting himself up.

Jaylin smiled, giving back to the kiss before purring when he pulled her to his chest. Nuzzling into her neck. She was quite content to stay there wrapped in his arms. There were no words for the contentedness she felt in her body and heart.​

Astrid smirked playfully “what’d ya think about it?” she snuggled in the blanket tiredly looking up at him “she’s a lot some times… but she’s back thank you kain.”

Eric just held her with a deep rumble in his chest as he just nuzzled her closer. He just smiled softly with a playful smirk “your stuck with me now.”

Kain smirked back. "It was cold and wet, but I wouldn't trade it for anything." He said before looking at her. "You're welcome love, I told you I wanted to help fix us, and we got your wolf back" He said smiling at her.

Jaylin purred as she snuggled into his chest. She lifted her head to look at him with a teasing smile. "Can I get a refund? I'm not so sure about this purchase anymore" She laughed.​

Astrid tilted her head “it shouldn’t have even cold if she’d just killed it.” She just smiled softly with a playful grin “she is and for a change actually taking a nap.”

Eric grinned “you didn’t pay for the extended warranty.” He chunked just holding her close enjoying their bond strengthening

Kain felt embarrassed. "I'm gonna be honest, I think we're talking about two different things love. The mud was cold and wet, the deer blood was warm and delicious" He said a blush on his face.

Jay pouted looking at him. "I knew I missed something in the purchase" She laughed enjoying this moment between them.​

Astrid grinned “so you did like it!” She couldn’t help but giggle “but ya she’s got a thing for puddles for some reason… I smell like soap though did she seriously let you give her a bathe…?”

Eric grinned “darn your stuck with me.” He chuckled kissing her “you can try for the limited warranty though. “

Kain flushed. "Yes I did like it. Yeah, I told her it was that or sleep outside and she let me give her a bath both times we went outside. And I wish I knew why she loved puddles so much" He laughed.

Jay smiled. "Oh man. I think I'll keep you instead" Jay smiled looking at her mate and smiled when she kissed him. "I think I'm all set" She laughed.​

Astrid laughed “let me guess she flopped right over for you. She is something else.” She just snuggled in the blanket “what do we have left for food I have the munchies..”

Eric chuckled “ ya I hear warranty paperwork is pretty extensive now a days.” He teased just holding her tightly finally sitting up and leaned against the headboard pulling her up with him

Kain smiled, nodding, before he hummed. "I'm not sure, let me check" He stood up and walked over to the cabinet with all the munchie foods. "We have chips, crackers and two more bags of microwave popcorn" He said, turning around to face her.

She laughed at his words, a wide smile on her face. "Yeah, its a bigger hassle then I need" She smiled, allowing him to pull her up with him. She curled into his chest further with a contented hum.​

Astrid looked up at him “popcorn and a movie..?” She smiled playfully but frowned “we’re gonna need more food soon though..”

Eric just held her close “guess your unfortunately stuck with me for life then.” He just held her close relaxing against the bed taking in all of her features and smiling as the mark settled firmly in her skin

Kain looked at her, nodding at the snack idea. "I can use the landline here to have Eric bring us more food. I'll have him set up enough for two more months, we can always bring stuff back" Kain said. He grabbed the landline after he put the popcorn in the microwave. There was a landline phone in each room in the castle, and he knew Eric's by heart. He dialed it and waited while it rang.

Jay giggled, looking at him. "I guess I can handle that" She smiled up at him. She heard a phone ring, and looked around confused. "What?"​

Astrid frowned “Kain your the king you can’t just avoid your duties for two more months…”

Eric groaned sitting up and shifted Jay off him walking across the room to answer the phone. “Every room has a line but I can’t say the last time I ever even remember it used…” he frowned more though answering and hearing Kain’s voice. - is everything alright man…?-

Kain held his hand up asking for a moment of patience. "Hey, can you prepare two more months of groceries for us?" Kain asked. "We're running low out here"

Jay moved as Eric answered the phone, curious.​

Astrid frowned but sat there quietly

Eric looked at Kay muting it briefly “Kain wants more food…” he picked it back up though “you getting cubby buddy? Eating everything?” He teased lightly but worried, if they needed more food they hadn’t processed enough to come back.
