Realistic or Modern We're the Experiements

Lawrence stepped away from the door as a fight ensued right outside. He hated violence, but if there was a chance to escape he would be okay with almost anything. It sounded like someone had the keys to let them out, but there was a lot of other noise so he couldn't be sure. He went back over to the door and tried his best to see what was going on.

Lester slowly uncurled his wings and stood back up. A little ways down the hall he could see one of the experiments fighting with a few guards. In fact, it seemed several other experiments were out of their cells as well. He bounced on his toes in anticipation of getting free, his wings beating a little.

She cracked a small smile, looking toward her stomach. "Have you got a name yet?" She asked in a slightly louder voice. "For the baby that is" She asked tilting her head with awe. She gave a sudden pixie like grin, "My mother is going to be so excited! I can go back to dancing!" Her stutter disappearing a moment as she thought of the possibilities.
Karie shook her head gently "not yet..." she said, she hadn't put much thought into the whole idea of naming yet and went into an over-exaggerated thinking pose as she began to ponder it "..." she remained silent for a moment before shrugging "I'm blank..." she said sighing before smiling weakly at the girlstalk about outside "you did dancing!? so cool!!" she said cheerfully, she'd never gotten a chance to do something like that with her host family. @XxLuluxX

Aaron looked back over his shoulder at the guard that glared back at him. everything was so confusing he hadn't experienced something like this before the whole situation causing him more and more stress. More and more of the halls grew different as they kept moving. "We may have to move through a hostile area be careful." "Hostile...just what happened who's attacking us?" Aaron asked stopping? The guard shoved him forward getting him to move. "I..i'm sorry where are you taking me?" The doctor dug through a small bag at his side. "Maybe a sedative would help you 223. Aaron shook his head his hands clenching he quickly shook his head not being a big fan of shots. "No..no thank you can we just..." The doctor turned around holding up the syringe Aaron headache pounding harder now than his own heartbeat. He held his hands out. "Just stop okay I don't need the shot please ..." He backed into the guard feeling a strong grip at his shoulder holding him in place.

Suddenly Kita was unable to hear the fighting or anything else that wasn't within a few feet. She stopped shouting encouragement to the free test subjects and banging on the door. 'No no no no no no' she gripped her ears, 'I don't want to be nearly deaf again! My ears...my hearing....but...' She sank back to the corner like she always did when she felt scared, confused, and alone. Her wings hugged her tightly and she didn't resist, they felt warm and comforting, like a friend. "I can't hear them!" she shouted in frustration, she didn't even care if anyone heard her. It wasn't like she would be able to hear them any time soon. One tear rolled down her face, then another and another until she was practically bawling her eyes out. "Not fair..... what happened to my perfect hearing?" her voice cracked again. Kita pulled her knees to her chest and hugged them like her wings hugged her. She felt so alone all of a sudden. So cut off from everyone else.

She wondered if the free test subjects would remember to free everyone else, including herself. She couldn't shake a feeling that she'd be left to rot while everyone else was free. 'No, they can't do that,' she told herself. 'They wouldn't forget someone that went through things badly like they went through. They just can't...' She looked up at the door window, not being able to see anything, and without her hearing she couldn't really hear any of the fighting either. She would never be able to know what was going on unless she somehow got her hearing back or was freed. Kita broke the silence by humming loudly to herself. She decided to just imagine if she had hearing past a few feet, imagined what she would hear. 'Shouting... Fighting and pain... maybe it's better off that I can't hear it....' Kita looked at the red puddle near the door, then her completely red tank top, taking in how lucky she was to have color, even if it was obtained by a serious nosebleed. Her mouth slowly curled into a small smile. Color. It's so pretty, she thought.

Aavak sat, staring into the dark bulb of the cannibalized camera just above the door, thinking in earnest on how to escape and help stop whatever commotion was going on just outside his cell. He got up, walking to the door, taking a peek outside too see some loose feathers fly past his window before a loud thud rang through the hall, there was talk of keys and escape as he put his hand up and into the camera, tearing out components. He slid a large circuit board into the crack below the door and yanked upwards, shattering the board and leaving him with a makeshift knife that would be lucky to survive one swing. He picked a small dry-cell battery out of the pile of components. Starting to whistle as he worked, ignoring the commotion outside so he could focus better, he took a few steps back putting his back almost against the wall and threw the battery at the door, denting it. He tried again, and on the third try the outer casing of the battery burst, allowing access to the acidic paste inside. Grabbing his makeshift blade he went to where the battery landed, spreading some of the paste over the tip, and prying the case fully open.

Now with weapon, Aavak stopped whistling and went to creating a distraction, ripping up some of the floor fabric with a stray shard of circuit board and then promptly wrapping some of the paste up in fabric. He then went back to the door and held the makeshift flash grenade up to the bare, sparking wires inside of the gutted camera. Eventually the fabric caught fire and he quickly threw it through the bars of his window and in to the hallway. He looked though the window to see a hybrid, almost all muscle, charging someone out of sight. A few moments passed, and the paste caught fire in to a brilliant white light which Aavak was hoping would somewhat stun or at least distract whoever was attacking the hybrid.

Only time would tell if it was successful, but with no way to get out of his cell himself, he backed away from the door and clutched his makeshift blade and entered a sloppy combat stance, hoping too see anyone but a guard or scientist open the door.

((OOC: Do not smash any batteries or light them on fire! Just not a good idea Especially not inside.))

((OOC: Because two of our characters have left, I’m going to control ‘Vera’ momentarily to allow a few more of us an escape. Then she, along with ‘Aero’, can be killed off.))

The boy unlocked a girl’s cage and Natalia assumed he threw her the keys because in an instant he was charging into-and completely wiping out-a bunch of guards further down the hall. Somewhere off to the left some sort of bright white light appeared. There was so much happening outside. Nat had to keep swivelling her head back and forth to catch snippets of action on either end of the hall. She desperately wanted to get out of her cell. The useless adrenaline running rampant throughout her body and the inability to do anything except stand around helplessly in her cell made Nat feel a deep, dangerous frustration. Without realising it, she had fallen back into the old habit of clenching her teeth. This was something her host mother, Marlene, had trained her out of. When she was little, Nat would clench her jaw really hard instead of letting herself become visibly angered. It was a subconscious way in which she dealt with her bad emotions.

Just as Nat felt like she was on the verge of breaking a tooth, a female experiment with blood dribbling from her mouth ran over and unlocked the door. Without a moments thought or hesitation Nat jumped into action. She darted out the door and protectively followed the experiment who held the key to freedom.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a shotgun went off. Nat jerked her head towards the noise and to her horror she saw at least ten more guards at the other end of the hallway. Thankfully only one of them appeared to be holding a gun. Nat dived behind the open door of her cell to protect herself from any more bullets. As she crouched in the hallway, she turned to check on the female who had freed her.

She locked eyes with the girl and let out a faint whimper. “Oh god,” Nat breathed. The girl’s eyes were glassy and lifeless. She lay completely motionlessly with her chest facing the ceiling and her arm outstretched towards Natalia. The bullet had pierced straight through her heart and there was a red puddle beginning to form on the cold, grey concrete.

“There’s nothing you can do,” she heard a sorrowful voice say,except finish what she started.”

Nat blinked a few times and swallowed hard. She didn’t have time to feel despair for the girls life. The guards were obviously serious about regaining control of the experiments, even if it meant gunning down the more rebellious ones as a warning.

She wasn’t about to let that happen.

In the hand of the girl’s outstretched arm were the keys. Nat grabbed them silently and, still hidden by the open metal door, she began unlocking doors.

Andre heard the gun go off and he watched powerlessly as a tiny but powerful force hit one of the girls. She fell to the ground gracefully and another girl jumped behind the door that had just been opened for her. Andre’s heart constricted when he saw the girl realise that her rescuer had been slain.

“There’s nothing you can do,” he said to her softly, “except finish what she started.” After a short moment the girl sprung back into action. His was the first cell she opened, so he followed her closely. Andre could hear the guards at the other end of the hallway walking cautiously towards them as the two continued to unlock more doors.

((OOC: If you wish, feel free to dub your character ‘unlocked’ by Nat. She and Andre will be happy to interact with other characters.))

Breath started to hitch in her throat as she ran to the door looking about with a violent shiver racking her thin frame. Gun shots where going off, and mayhem ensued outside. In the panic, she had backed away into one of the corners of her cell. Pressing herself into it, while she clutched her hands to her chest. They had guns. Oh it may have seemed cowardly, and maybe it was. But she didn't want to die, she didn't want the scientists to get angry. 'It's only another two years she said. Another two years to see mother...If i leave now, how will she find me?' Thoughts bounced back and forth wildly, now plainly ignoring the woman in her cell. Her breaths were quick, sharp and cutting, shaking like a leaf in an autumn breeze. She hummed a tune to herself in an almost insane way, she didn't want to go. The scientists wanted to keep them safe. The scientists knew when it was time to send them home.

Hearing the loud commotion outside his cell Isaac began to wonder if perhaps someone was actually getting out of this hell hole they had been trapped in for so many years, he hoped that they got out but he doubted that he would be able to get away too. He may as well have been dead already after all the endless tests and experiments, it wasn't like they'd have enough time to save him even if they wanted to which he thought they wouldn't. Pacing his cell he started to feel more and more like a caged animal, there were things going on just outside his cell he could practically feel the vibrations from all the noise coming from the cell door. He clenched his fists so hard that they bled and he tried not to do anything too reckless, but then he remembered the last time that he had had a mental breakdown. Scientists and guards would come with some kind of serum to calm him down, all he needed was for them to open the door and he'd be out of there. Maybe he would even get to escape the entire facility.

Now actually somewhat hopeful that he could escape Isaac started to tear up the padding in his cell anyway he possibly could, the padding was strong and very hard to break but he got through it and tore chunks of stuff out. If he kept going like this he would get to a concrete layer though he had nothing to use to even dent that, that wouldn't stop him trying to break the cell in anyway possible. It wouldn't be the first time he'd tried to destroy his cell either, once he got through the padding he noticed the floor was reinforced now with titanium which wouldn't shatter with force. Cursing he started kicking his cell door but that only caused his leg to get sore as the door absorbed most of the force anyway. Next he tried throwing himself against it but still nothing happened, the guards must have had their hands full trying to control whatever was happening outside. "Dammit..."

Karie smiled at the girl once more before the guard next to her suddenly grabbed her "times up." he said and started pulling her away, she glanced around, eyes wide at the horror going on a distance from her 'wh-why is!?' she frantically thought, it seemed the violence hadn't reached them yet... but her enhanced senses led her to clearly smelling the scent of blood. At this her eyes slit and she bit down hard on the guards hand, the guard took a step back but didn't take any further action... and Karie knew exactly why. un-like the others who the guards would approach hostility quickly if they didn't answer to reason, they needed Karie... the others could be replaced but her?.. she was the only one who had survived the pregnancy process for whatever reason they hadn't concluded. they wanted her.

Even though she knew all this she could also tell the moment things got out go hand they wouldn't hesitate to fire at her... to them... she was just some object. a creature to be examined and thrown away once finished with..just like... she shook her head and cut off the thought and turned her attention back to the fight, going into a perfect fighting stance, making the guard grimace as he remembered the girls file on her host family... Karie swiftly went up to him, grabbing an arm and twisting it behind his back and punching him in the chest twice, completely winding him as he fell to the floor and began to cough up blood "pathetic." she muttered before grabbing his gun and aiming for his head, her hand began to tremble though as for a brief moment the image of her 'fathers' face appeared in her head.

She then changed her aim to both his legs, shooting them quickly and leaving him both crippled and unconscious, she then turned back to the girls cell from before and immediately noticed her terror "it' gonna be ok!" she mouthed to her, blood splattered on her jacket and pants from the fight as she shot the lock, it opened and she grabbed the girls arm quickly, turning back to her and giving a smile "come on!" she yelled, pulling her away and down the hall without as much fighting happened, began to pant as she became out of breath furrowing her brows "dammit...n-not...good time...to be pregnant..." she hissed under her breath as she stopped and ducked behind a corner.

((Edit:)) As she did she heard banging against another cell door and shot at it with the second last bullet remaining in the gun, "you..g-good there?.." she stuttered, still out of breath as she rested her hands on her knees and put a finger on her mouth in the quiet position "shhh! we don't... wanna attract too much noise!" she then said to him in almost a whisper.

Finally the door opened and he found a very distressed looking woman with a gun, he was surprised someone had opened the door and he was glad to finally be out of his cell. When she asked him to be quiet he silently nodded and looked around wondering just how much damage had been caused. There were bodies on the ground and the stench of blood was thick in the air, cautiously he stepped out of his cell and hoped there weren't any guards around. "Yeah I'm okay... What the hell happened here?!" He whispered back wishing he had some kind of weapon, for now he would just have to use his hands with his claw-like nails. He'd sharpened them just in case something happened and he needed to fight, he refused to be defenceless no matter what the situation.

Finn heard a silent click before he realised his door had been unlocked. Yanking open the giant steel frame, he swiftly stepped out into the corridor. His giant chocolate wings whipped into the air casting an enormous shadow around the room. He stared at the commotion in front of him with an uncompromising expression. All hairs on his arms stood on end and his muscles flexed as he prepared to lunge for the closest guard. They would pay for all that they had done…so much pain caused…oh they would pay!

Sprinting forward Finn pulled up beside the other male experiment and gave him a quick nod before reaching for the closest guard, spinning him to the ground and granting a swift kick to his ribs with a satisfying crunch. Dropping the now groaning guard to the ground Finn reached for the next guy barely pausing in his assaults to the man’s head before moving onto another. Energy was surging through his body, he felt electrified and hope bubbled chaotically in his mind at the sheer thought of getting them all out of here.

Emily cried aloud at the sound of gun shots. “Stop please!” she screamed, panicked at the terrors that may lay beyond her door. She shivered as more shots rang out and prayed that it would be the guards falling and not her fellow experiments. Enough pain had been endured in these walls she wasn’t sure how much more any of them could take. Standing shakily she stepped towards her door and almost gasped at the realisation that it stood cracked open slightly. Only a sliver of light shone through, but none the less when she shoved gently at the cold steel it swung open more and the noises of the corridor were now almost deafening her ears.

She peered carefully around the frame as her heart hammered loudly in her chest. There were so many guards poised ready for the kill and she almost bailed on the entire situation as the urge to step back into her cell and close the door was almost too overwhelming.

She stared in wide eyed horror at the two large avian boys fending off the guards and tried desperately to think of a way to help them. Flicking her eyes to the other end of the corridor she could see others were also coming out of their cells. “Help!” She screeched at them, her eyes darting frantically back to the boys.

Karie sighed "If I knew I would tell you, trust me." she said rolling her eyes and regaining her breath, checking on the girl behind her before turning back to the boy "so.. I know this really isn't the time but... what's your name?" she asked curiously before suddenly hearing footsteps approaching and grabbing his arm as well pulling him away and heading towards a large sealed door near the back, rays of light shooting through the small cracks around the frame of them, she waited briefly, not hearing any more footsteps flopped down, her wings flapping weakly.

she soon stood back up "ok..I think we're good....for now at least..." she said, clearly still suspicious of the sudden stop in footsteps, she then heard a girl screech and turn her head in shook, going back around the corner quickly "s-sorry!" she mouthed to her before turning pale and covering her mouth with one hand "really..m-morning sickness...at a time like this!?.." she muttered under her breath before throwing up shortly after and shaking her head whilst trying to recover. @Kuroi01 @XxLuluxX @Maevu

Izaac looked down the hall to see another experiment seeming very panicked about the situation, not that he could really blame her. Their entire world was falling to pieces and it was a messed up confusing world to begin with, he had no idea how to help the frantic female and he didn't want to leave the woman who broke him out alone. Even if she did seem like she could take care of herself he was pretty sure that she was... Pregnant. Though he wasn't entirely sure the experiments could get pregnant she certainly appeared and acted to be that way, he didn't like the idea of leaving the woman when she was defenceless but he told himself he wouldn't be gone too long and besides she was strong. Especially to be able to even have a child when she was an experiment, from what he'd heard that kind of experiment always failed. Every. Single. Time. Despite this he decided to go, he didn't even know if he could trust any of these people. Sure they had been through similar torture but that didn't make them family, it made them all victims in various states of panic. He wouldn't put it past one of them to push him into the guards so that they could get away and live another day, but the girl looked so defenceless and weak. "My name is Izaac, and oh god you're actually pregnant..." He said still not fully able to comprehend that fact. "That's going to be a pain in the ass later... Listen, I'm going to go down the hall and help that girl okay? If you get a chance get out of here." Then he looked around the corner to check the girl was still alive.

Thankfully she was. Sighing to himself he ran to the other end of the hall and started cutting down guards viciously. "Get over to the woman at the other end of the hall now! Help her if you can!" He said as he tried to keep the guards away from her, he couldn't do more than that and he hoped that they would be okay. They didn't seem too bad, not that he would trust them with his life anytime soon. First impressions weren't everything, he knew that from experience. The guards had him beat when it came to numbers and he knew he'd have to run soon or accept the fact he was going to die no matter how many he killed in the process, and after this he doubted they would allow him to live. It wasn't like he ever thought he was going to escape this hell hole anyway, death couldn't be worse than torture.

Karie nodded blankly at him before sighing "does he think I'm weak or something?...sheesh..if I'm strong enough to have another person-..experiment inside me I'm strong enough to defend myself..." she muttered, her wings spreading out fully as she finally regained colour in her face, she spotted three of the scientists heading towards her "oh, hello there Karie!.." they said smirking "come with us... you know we won't hurt you! your too..." they stared at her stomach "..important..." they finished, Karie huffed before going up to them and punching them in the head "I don't friggin' wanna!?" she yelled as they all fell to the ground, instantly unconscious "oops...did I..over do it?.." she said to herself before shrugging "oh, well... their bad guys so it don't matter.." she finished before picking up their guns and emptying the ammo out and re-filling her gun quickly before looking down the hall and aiming it, shooting a couple of the guards before also gesturing for the panicking girl to come to her, turning slightly pale again but gulping and snapping out of it. @XxLuluxX @Kuroi01 @Maevu

Lawrence watched in horror as the girl with the keys was shot and killed. Another girl grabbed the keys and opened everyone's cells. He quickly opened his door and ducked behind it as gunshots rang out. There were several different fights going on and he had no clue who needed help the most. He scanned the experiments that were out of their cells for Lester. Finally he saw his twin and went over, giving him a brief hug.

Lester saw Lawrence just as he came over. He hugged his twin then stepped back. "I have to go help the others fight the guards if we are going to escape." He said, turning away. He ran over to a lone guy fighting a bunch of guards. He stole a baton from a fallen guard then hit the nearest one over the back of his head. A guard grabbed him from behind, ducking under his wings. Lawrence ran over and pulled the guard off, holding his arms behind his back. Lester quickly moved on to the next guard, doing his best to help the other guy. Lawrence pinned the man to the ground and punched him until he passed out. He quickly wiped the blood off his hand and stood up, backing away. He took a deep breath and steeled himself before moving on to help Lester.

@Kuroi01

Thanks to a pair of twins the group of guards were taken out without Isaac getting hurt too much, he sighed in relief in this fact and looked over at the lady from before. She seemed to be alright as well which was good, she'd stuck around even with a chance to go. "Thanks you two." He said turning to the twins, then he quickly ran back over to the woman and made sure she was alright. "Good you're okay, also I didn't mean to imply you're weak. But you are pregnant, that's a hindrance to you no matter what way you look at it. Anyway, I never got to ask your name." He said not sure what he was saying was completely normal but he'd been in solitary confinement for a long time, they seemed to want to test how long an experiment can be alone for before it ends up talking to itself so that it doesn't feel like it's alone anymore. It took him a year, that year he thought they were going to let him go free and that they were just doing paperwork. After all that was the year he was taken from his host family... Dammit! Stop thinking about that and focus! He turned his attention back to the pregnant woman. "Do you think you'll be alright to keep moving? You look ill..." He said unable to make his voice sound sympathetic.

@Shadow @TheHappyPikachu

The gunshots echoed in the hallways The guard behind Aaron quickly turning around letting his hand fall. "Ill scout ahead get him moving again doc." The guard said moving down the hall shotgun in hand. Aaron backed up to the nearby wall the guard pressing him to it getting the syringe ready a clear liquid spurting from the top. Aaron whimpered a few times wanting to melt into the cold wall behind him. "This is going to let you relax 223 just take a deep breath." The doctor pressed the needle into his shoulder his mind turning to a haze and his eyes glowing red.

His set of razor sharp talons quickly ran over the chest of the doctor tearing down his shirt and cutting through skin with no problem. the boy looked back at him grinning as he charged him jumping onto him working the handcuffs around the doctors neck and pulling him to the ground. He panted pulling harder and harder the doctor atop of him gasping pulling trying to get free the boy wrapping his legs around his sides pulling tighter and tighter the cuffs cutting into the doctors neck as well as his own wrists as he pulled tighter and tighter. "you should have listened to him and kept walking." he took a deep breath grunting pulling harder strangling the life out of him. He rested his head back finally letting him go pushing the dead doctor off of him. He shook his head the drugs the doctor had pumped into him had kicked in his head spinning. He reached uncomfortably for the needle jammed into his shoulder pulling it free and tossing it He took a few deep breaths. "Keep it together Airo...we need to ...ohhhh okay find a way out." He walked to the doctor checking his body grabbing a keycard from him and taking his lab coat a few bloodstains splattered it. He pulled it on it was better than the thin hospital garb they had been dressing him in for years and had the benefit for hiding his wings some.

The guard quickly turned the corner seeing a fellow down long dead one of the subjects reloading the lifted gun. "Drop it!" he ordered. He felt something jump him from behind falling to the ground the shotgun falling to the floor discharging the halls filling with the load gunfire. Airo jumped onto him his talons digging into his neck slicing quickly. Airo turned his head closing his eyes climbing off his hands shaking covered in blood. He looked over at Karie. Another subject.....he wasn't alone there were others." the thought crossed his mind to kill her there and then but right now working with others may be in his best interest. He took a few breath working up the whole "friendly" facade "Are you okay?" he noticed the others with her. "How many have they been working on?

@Shadow @TheHappyPikachu

Karie nodded at Isaac "Karie, and yes. I guess it is..." She said sighing, putting the gun away in her pocket "and I'll be fine...there's more guards stationed out there as well, any attempt to get out will be destroyed almost instantly.." She placed a hand on her stomach lazily out of habit before her angelic wings fluttered once before noticing a boy, blood covering his hands but thus didn't get a reaction from Karie at all "yes, just dandy..." She said sarcastically and rolled her eyes, "you good though?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and gesturing to his body before turning back to Isaac once again.@Raypoint @XxLuluxX @Kuroi01

Airo Nodded to him. "They injected me with something something to put me to sleep I think...." He walked over to them leaving a trail of bloody footprints behind him. He Shifted shaking his head he needed to keep the idiot quiet not until they were someplace safe. He crouched down near them holding up the key card. "I think we can make our way out of the exits....I'm not sure exactly where to go..I've never been in this part of the facility before. He tugged at the cuffs trying to get them off.

Evelynn listened further to the sound of what seemed like battle outside of her door. The noise though was too much to handle for her. She held the palms of her hands to her ears, cringing at the sound of gunshots. "No. No. No! Stop!" Eve shouted, stressed out due to the situation. Of what was happening to them. From her end, she didn't know what was happening out there, and wasn't sure if she ever did. Soon, she smelled the thick stench of blood...

'Oh god...'

All the thoughts she once had of escape and freedom had vanished, and she wasn't sure what to think of anymore.

The door to her cell had been unlocked suddenly, by a possible ally or threat. She didn't want to take the chance to find out, but curiosity controlled her. Before she realized it, she slowly walked to the door, and pushed it over. The pain in her back increased, causing her to bite her lip. To her, causing pain in another place would slightly help decrease the pain in a wound. Surprisingly for her, it worked, but only for a short moment.

She stood out of her door, looking at the horrors of the hallway. There was blood all over the floor from guards, and one experiment girl. Eve summoned her wings, which quickly appeared and wrapped around her, as if to comfort her. The pain of seeing death scared her, and she wasn't sure what to think at all in that moment.

'Should I stay... or should I try to leave this place, causing more possibilities of death.. No. I need to leave, and leave with people that understand pain. If I die, then that's it. I can't live here anymore.'

Eve quickly looked around, deciding to attempt on helping, but with her injury it would be difficult. Her wings unwrapped from around her small, pale frame and sat behind her back, dormant. When she saw the boys fighting for freedom, she smiled. Reminding her of someone. Noah. "N-Noah! Where are you?" Her eyes looked frantically around, then remembering that he was close to her own cell. She looked at the end of the hall, just to see open doors. No sign of another experiment. All the others were banding together, which she kept away from. She cared for their safety, but knew that if she tried to fight, she'd only be dragging them down. With the injury she had, and the strength she never had in this hellish place, it would be difficult for her to fight. Right now, she just thought, and looked for possibilities of escape routes. To her left was all the fighting, and to her right, there were guards coming down the hallway. She feared them, and backed up to a wall, but they did not approach her. Their priority was the fighting rebellious experiments, and not her. This made her fear for the boys' lives, but she knew they were stronger than guards in armor.

In order to help, Eve blocked out all that was happening, frantically searching with her eyes a way out of all of this mess. If she could find an escape, then that would at least help the group by a small amount.

Shortly there came fire from another cell, which she tried to ignore. The hallway was beginning to be hotter than before. On instinct, she commanded her wings to disappear, and kept away from the fire, which lasted for a short time, since the floors were concrete, and the walls were metal.

When she was searching for an escape, she then realized something. Somewhere, if the employees needed to be outside, there would be a possible courtyard.

'But where?'

She pondered, looking around for any clues to a courtyard, but none showed. This would take time, but they will find an escape... They had to.

@Cyber Wolf

OOC: I would tag others, but I do need to give Cyber an opening back into the roleplay. We've all gone so far ahead, it might be difficult just to find her place. Hopefully though, everything will work out.

Oh and I'm on my phone right now, so the '...' stuff is her thoughts, just letting you guys know. :P

Lawrence saw a cell door that was still closed, even though it was unlocked. He nudged Lester to get his attention and went over to the door. He opened the door and saw a small girl with blue, white, and gold wings. "Um...." He looked back at Lester and motioned for him to talk to the girl. Lester rolled his eyes and offered his hand to the girl. "Come on, we need to leave." He said, keeping his voice gentle so he wouldn't scare her. He didn't know if she was easily scared or not, but he would rather potentially insult her than scare her by being rough. Lawrence moved a wounded guard into a cell so they could reach the other experiments easier. He spread his wings to hide some of the bloodied guards. If he didn't like having to see them, he couldn't imagine that a girl would be okay with it.

@CelestialBunny

Kita noticed her door slightly ajar and approached it slowly. If she tried to escape, she would either die fighting or live in freedom, but if she stayed where she was, there would still be years of torture before her release. 'Freedom.' she whispered to herself. She looked at her bloody shirt, 'Worst comes I can fall on the floor and pretend I'm dead, even if the blood is from a nosebleed, they don't know that...' and with that she stepped outside her cell reluctantly. She ran to the free test subjects and asked what she could do to help, and explained that she was pretty much deaf. Her voice still cracked, but not as much as it normally would. She would live free, or die trying.

Elizabeth hadn't noticed that her cell was unlocked. She simply watched through the window. When the older boy came in and told her that they had to leave. "Ok" she said nervously as she took his hand. She followed him, surprised at what had happened. "Umm, sir where exactly are we going now?" She asked scared but excited to leave the stupid prison. She hadn't realized but her left leg was in so much pain since yesterday's torture. She tried not to let it show but in every step she took she started limping. Still following the boy she didn't want to be left behind. Her eyes flashed purple and silver, which meant nervousness and pain.

OOC: Thanks @Shadow

She squeaked, barely able to make a sound other than that of pure fright. Everything was happening too quickly, flashing before her eyes as the woman dragged her behind, even though her joints had stiffened in fear. If it hadn't been for her or the others it was doubted the small albino would've made it this far. Penelope hands shook violently keeping close to the pregnant woman's side. She killed him. They're dead. Oh my god they're dead. Dead, dead, dead. Still trying to recover from the initial shock, small mumbles escaped her lips. Rose orbs wide, she turned in every direction to be met with chaos. They hurt you. They hurt others. They took you away. But they're the only people i know.

Tears formed in her eyes as she stared at her feet. Snowy white hair falling into her face as she let out a small sniffle. Was it childish to say she wanted her mother? Because that was the truth. She wanted to smell her vanilla perfume and soft cotton blouse against her cheek. She wanted to feel safe.

Lex had been sitting in his usual position in the centre of his room, curled into an almost foetal position with his wings wrapped around himself leaving a small opening for the light to enter in and be captured by the shining feathers. His own little 'cave of wonders', that space he created to weave his worlds of escapism. Left untouched by the door was the toy Lex had been left with overnight, one of those squeaky bone dog toys, a clear message left after all of the wild fighting. "Behave like an animal and be treated like one."

Drawn out of his thoughts by the tentative voices he'd raised his head out the temporary cocoon to listen realising that they were right, no one had come to do anything with them yet. The sounds of doors unlocking and one the girls being tormented made the boy lower his head again believing that the possibility of change had been but a fleeting hope until a new cry pierced the stale air.

Snapping upright Lex twisted in the direction of the yell, he's heard that scream before much closer, right under his own clawing hands when the guard made the mistake of entering the cell alone, Lex's only regret after incident hadn't been the beatings or any other punishment just that when he'd next seen the man there weren't any visible marks.

At the wet cracking noise of bone and muscle twisting and breaking Lex uncurled his gangly frame and ran to the door just managing to peek out of the window as all hell broke loose in the corridor. Watching while other experiments were released the boy fought against the silence that had bound his voice, he hadn't spoken a full sentence in months since his last scrap of interest in the contraptions that tormented him had faded into a sullen indifference.

"H..he..hey he...hello?" Lex called out to no one in particular, stumbling over the unfamiliar coherent speech as his hands began to roam over the door pushing with growing urgency. "Can anyone hear me? Let me out of here I can help you!" Pounding on the first of the barriers keeping him from the world he cried out. "Please I need to get out of here!!"
