The Charasmatic Wallflower
Emmy followed behind Max, looking past him to the outside. She then heard a clanking sound. "Did you hear something?" She asked, tilting her head.

Keri didn't so much as care where they were but what this place was, the location seemed to showcase itself pretty well so she thought it must have been a tall hill in the middle of a field of grass, she cupped her pale hands around her eyes so she could block the sun from hurting her eyes, maybe something was near something that could surely be of use "so what were yo doing before you appeared here?" Since the air around them had slowly shifted into silence Keri thought about starting another conversation just to fill the air for the other girl while she herself looked for things around them.SummerWolf said:Anjali smiled, as Keri answered. "It's alright. Thanks." She said, and paused for a brief second. "Where I, well, came from, everybody had some type of ears and a tail. I haven't met many humans before, though I can say your the nicest I've ever met." She said, and smiled. She turned in place looking around once more. "Do you think, maybe, we should figure out where we are?" She asked. They couldn't very well spend all day standing here, who knows what lives here. She turned back to Keri.
Keri nodded in response while hearing Anjali talk about her siblings, she never had siblings herself since she had always loved with her cousins but they had never spoken to her because she was either really silent or just didn't know how to start a conversation, she remembered about what she was doing before waking up here, the room was a bit dark but still had enough light to see that the room's walls were purple, she had laid on her bed thinking about bizzare stuff since she didn't really have anyone to talk to, in another words she was being a loner but she didn't want to say that "I was reading a book to my little cousin" her eyes shifted downwards seeing a small line that lead over to a chest right beside a tall oak tree "lets go see what that is!"SummerWolf said:Anjali returned to looking around, though she didn't move far from where they were standing. "I was watching my siblings for my parents. Though, I think I fell asleep at some point." She answered Keri's question. "What about you?" She asked. She wandered to the edge of what seemed like a hill, and looked out, only to see grass, dotted with a few trees. She turned back towards Keri, and walked behind her, to look out on the other side, to simply see the same thing. She returned to stand next to Keri.
Keri kneeled down in front of the tattered up chest, she ran her fingers against the top of the lid which had fortuitous carvings stabbed into it maybe some animals had tried to open it before but just couldn't, her hand placed itself under the latches tip quickly flipping it open to hear the click of medal snap onto the rough wood -Alright..I really wonder what's inside, I should take the risk, besides I really have no one to go back to- she slipper her finger tips under the lid and lifted it up revealing stacks of wood, a bag of apples, some stick and some flint added by a piece of steel "Awesome.."SummerWolf said:Anjali nodded, and started towards the tree. She glanced up to the sky, noticing the light around was dimming. It seemed to be sunset, and that thought scared her. Who knows what roams at night around here. Hopefully, there was something helpful over there. She arrived at the tree with the chest, and turned to Keri. "Do you want to open it?" She asked, then walked around the tree. There had to be something they could do with this. Nonetheless, she returned to the chest, and waited for Keri.
"Oh! I think I understand now...I'm sorry I didn't say I was from here before. I thought you were too, or from somewhere like here. But 'earth' must be very different from the places I know." Rina wanted to know much more but the mention of sundown stole her attention. "Already?" she gasped and scrambled to her feet. "I promise I'll tell you more as soon as we're safe, but right now we should hurry. If you hear any strange sounds, stay on guard, okay? The skeletons and zombies like shady places where they won't burn."Karcen said:Alex was confused for a little bit but then she realized this girl must be from this world, though she wasn't blocky like everything else but maybe the world drew in people and her parents had been drawn in.
" Well we are from earth, though I guess this place is also called earth I don't know. Regardless where we come from it really depends on where you are and who you are there aren't monsters but we have weapons and crazy people which more than make up for it. " Alex said thinking about all the deadly things in their world " So I am guessing you’re a native, why aren't you blocky like everything else?" She asked which for her was the biggest question " Also if things come out at night we should move it is sun down" She said noticing things were getting dark.
Karcen said:" If we run we can make it to the cave it is mostly enclosed we should be safer in there than behind wood" Alex said thinking stone would hold of, zombies and skeletons better than wood. Then again she was thinking in terms of earth and how it worked not how this world worked, well it was already almost done.
" I can see the little tower I made from here " she said pointing to the tiny tower that was just barely visible.
"Yeah, the cave would be best for now since we already set up there." Xander said, then listened to Rina's question. "We're not really sure about that...big enough for two people to enter, but probably deep enough for 3. I'm sure we can make room." He assured her. "Wait, all over the dark? So when it becomes nightfall, they'll all come out?" He asked, then turned to Alex. "Looks like you were right. We should've checked the cave and maybe cleared it out." He looked between the two of them. "We started mining coal from there, so i think we should be able to mine out a shelter from there. In any case, we better get a move on if we wanna make it back before nightfall."MidnightDaybreak said:"A cave? Umm..." Rina visibly hesitated, her expression worried. "How far apart are the walls, do you remember?" To explain, she held out her arms to the sides, as if she were trying to block the space between the three of them. "Monsters appear in all the dark places, so we have to be careful in caves, they can come out any time if it's not brightly lit. We would have to close up some of it so they couldn't surprise us." She glanced at where the tower stood out against the sky and thought on the amount of daylight they had left. "Did you make a tunnel when you were mining before? That could be a good place to start!"
MidnightDaybreak said:Once Alex and Xander explained the details of the cave, Rina nodded in agreement. "Okay, I'm ready!" She let the others take the lead since they knew the way. Before long she could see the rough stone pillar up ahead. "Is it that one?" She pointed at a deeply shadowed area not far away - just in time to hear a low, wordless groan that came from the same direction.
Xander took a glance at the zombie...man, that thing was terrifying and ugly! He pulled out his sword and started slashing at it, but it took a bit until it disappeared because the sword was wood. once the zombie was defeated, it seemed to have dropped a feather for some odd reason..He didn't question it because he was too busy going into the gave and blocking it up when they had enough space.Karcen said:" Yep. " Alex said as she neared the pillar. Alex ran to the pillar and heard the moan and as the sky darkened she could make out in the surprising light of night what looked like a person, but the moaning showed just what it was and a few second latter she could see it. Zombies were real, well Alex didn't know what she expected from the world zombies had been motioned. Well, she would ignore it for now no time to fight she didn't have the sword and she jumped down into the hold landing a little in front of the mostly covered entrance.
Keri tossed her broken glasses into the chest and turned around to see a clunky piece of wood placed onto the grass beside them, she became very perplexed with how things worked around here, it seemed easier to create things here than in the world they were in not so long ago "yeah, we should start building some kind of shelter, we don't really know what could be lurking at night" her eyes drifted over to the Ax inside the chest it hand a smooth wooden handle that tied itself around the triangle shaped stone -Maybe I could some more wood from that tree over there-SummerWolf said:Anjali stepped closer to look at the chest's contents with Keri. "Sweet," She said, and picked up a peice of the wood, "But what are we supposed to do with..." Her question drifted off as she took a closer look at the wood. It was in the shape of a block. Curious, she turned, and took a couple steps away from the tree and chest. She set the blocky wood down, and it became something like a stump. "Okay..." She mummbled, and backed up next to Keri, and rejoined her at the chest. "Maybe we can build something from the wood?" She pondered, looking into the chest. She then looked up at the tree beside it, again wondering if there was something they could do with it.
"O-oh! Okay well I'll be right back" Keri looked down at her hands and felt a bit dubious, seeing as she wasn't tough really made her feel like she wasn't good enough compared to the others in her town, she had always been picked on for not having enough physical strength, they had always called her a runt or a waste of air, of course her cousins heard but they never did much maybe pat her on the back but that was all. Keri tightened her grip around the ax filling her head with the hateful words they used it made her angry, angry enough to take it out on the tree and with a swing of the ax she impaled the wood with the ax causing it to tip over sideways "..!?"SummerWolf said:Anjali nodded, and took the remaing stakc of wood from the chest. She eyed the axe Keri held, and looked to the tree. "I can start building, if you wanna try and get more materials..." She said, and looked back into the chest, checking to see if there was anything else they could use to build with. She didn;t see much else that could be useful, and she stepped back, to wait for Keri's reply before she did much else.
