Emmy followed behind Max, looking past him to the outside. She then heard a clanking sound. "Did you hear something?" She asked, tilting her head.

Anjali smiled, as Keri answered. "It's alright. Thanks." She said, and paused for a brief second. "Where I, well, came from, everybody had some type of ears and a tail. I haven't met many humans before, though I can say your the nicest I've ever met." She said, and smiled. She turned in place looking around once more. "Do you think, maybe, we should figure out where we are?" She asked. They couldn't very well spend all day standing here, who knows what lives here. She turned back to Keri.
Keri didn't so much as care where they were but what this place was, the location seemed to showcase itself pretty well so she thought it must have been a tall hill in the middle of a field of grass, she cupped her pale hands around her eyes so she could block the sun from hurting her eyes, maybe something was near something that could surely be of use "so what were yo doing before you appeared here?" Since the air around them had slowly shifted into silence Keri thought about starting another conversation just to fill the air for the other girl while she herself looked for things around them.

"Okay." A little puzzled frown lingered as Rina answered; there was something about the things said by Alex and Xander before that seemed strange to her. She couldn't put her finger on it. "I don't know how I got to the mountain. The last thing I remember is going out to get wood and more seeds for planting. Then I woke up here."

The other two questions were more tricky. Where to begin? "What kind of dangers are there? Well, daylight is pretty safe. If you don't bother wild animals first, they won't bother you, and the rest won't come out when there's light. In the dark..." She paused. Could it be possible? "Wait a moment...where are you two from? Do you not have monsters there?" Rina stared at both of them, not really believing it herself, but it could explain the questions. "I've heard stories, everybody hears those stories, but I didn't know there were really places like that. No monsters, even in caves or at night...wow, it must be really peaceful!"

Alex was confused for a little bit but then she realized this girl must be from this world, though she wasn't blocky like everything else but maybe the world drew in people and her parents had been drawn in.

" Well we are from earth, though I guess this place is also called earth I don't know. Regardless where we come from it really depends on where you are and who you are there aren't monsters but we have weapons and crazy people which more than make up for it. " Alex said thinking about all the deadly things in their world " So I am guessing you’re a native, why aren't you blocky like everything else?" She asked which for her was the biggest question " Also if things come out at night we should move it is sun down" She said noticing things were getting dark.

Anjali returned to looking around, though she didn't move far from where they were standing. "I was watching my siblings for my parents. Though, I think I fell asleep at some point." She answered Keri's question. "What about you?" She asked. She wandered to the edge of what seemed like a hill, and looked out, only to see grass, dotted with a few trees. She turned back towards Keri, and walked behind her, to look out on the other side, to simply see the same thing. She returned to stand next to Keri.

Keri nodded in response while hearing Anjali talk about her siblings, she never had siblings herself since she had always loved with her cousins but they had never spoken to her because she was either really silent or just didn't know how to start a conversation, she remembered about what she was doing before waking up here, the room was a bit dark but still had enough light to see that the room's walls were purple, she had laid on her bed thinking about bizzare stuff since she didn't really have anyone to talk to, in another words she was being a loner but she didn't want to say that "I was reading a book to my little cousin" her eyes shifted downwards seeing a small line that lead over to a chest right beside a tall oak tree "lets go see what that is!"

Anjali nodded, and started towards the tree. She glanced up to the sky, noticing the light around was dimming. It seemed to be sunset, and that thought scared her. Who knows what roams at night around here. Hopefully, there was something helpful over there. She arrived at the tree with the chest, and turned to Keri. "Do you want to open it?" She asked, then walked around the tree. There had to be something they could do with this. Nonetheless, she returned to the chest, and waited for Keri.

Keri kneeled down in front of the tattered up chest, she ran her fingers against the top of the lid which had fortuitous carvings stabbed into it maybe some animals had tried to open it before but just couldn't, her hand placed itself under the latches tip quickly flipping it open to hear the click of medal snap onto the rough wood -Alright..I really wonder what's inside, I should take the risk, besides I really have no one to go back to- she slipper her finger tips under the lid and lifted it up revealing stacks of wood, a bag of apples, some stick and some flint added by a piece of steel "Awesome.."

"Oh! I think I understand now...I'm sorry I didn't say I was from here before. I thought you were too, or from somewhere like here. But 'earth' must be very different from the places I know." Rina wanted to know much more but the mention of sundown stole her attention. "Already?" she gasped and scrambled to her feet. "I promise I'll tell you more as soon as we're safe, but right now we should hurry. If you hear any strange sounds, stay on guard, okay? The skeletons and zombies like shady places where they won't burn."

Not wanting to waste time they didn't have, she started to make something from the small amount of wood she had. Four pieces became a table that she quickly plunked onto the grass. On top of it she arranged two sticks, plus three more pieces of wood, and somehow made an ax that way. With the new item in hand, she scrambled into the nearest tree, still talking while she broke the trunk into more logs. "Do you have a shelter already? We can start building one now if it's too far away." She hopped off the stump and chopped that up too. "We might not finish before night falls...but something is better than nothing, right?" The ax whacked into the table a few times; it soon turned into a small-floating-cube version of itself that disappeared into her inventory. With any luck they'd have time to talk and make more tools in relative safety.

" If we run we can make it to the cave it is mostly enclosed we should be safer in there than behind wood" Alex said thinking stone would hold of, zombies and skeletons better than wood. Then again she was thinking in terms of earth and how it worked not how this world worked, well it was already almost done.

" I can see the little tower I made from here " she said pointing to the tiny tower that was just barely visible.

"A cave? Umm..." Rina visibly hesitated, her expression worried. "How far apart are the walls, do you remember?" To explain, she held out her arms to the sides, as if she were trying to block the space between the three of them. "Monsters appear in all the dark places, so we have to be careful in caves, they can come out any time if it's not brightly lit. We would have to close up some of it so they couldn't surprise us." She glanced at where the tower stood out against the sky and thought on the amount of daylight they had left. "Did you make a tunnel when you were mining before? That could be a good place to start!"

"Yeah, the cave would be best for now since we already set up there." Xander said, then listened to Rina's question. "We're not really sure about that...big enough for two people to enter, but probably deep enough for 3. I'm sure we can make room." He assured her. "Wait, all over the dark? So when it becomes nightfall, they'll all come out?" He asked, then turned to Alex. "Looks like you were right. We should've checked the cave and maybe cleared it out." He looked between the two of them. "We started mining coal from there, so i think we should be able to mine out a shelter from there. In any case, we better get a move on if we wanna make it back before nightfall."

"We will be fine once we get in there pop some torches down cover a few places in cobble and we can bunker down for the night." Alex said as if it was nothing which to her it was they should have enough cobble and coal to light up the cave assuming it wasn't crazy deep and they just hadn't seen it. Even if it was they could make weapons and would kill the creatures.

" Come on lets go" Alex said breaking into a fats stride as she almost ran towards the cave.

Anjali stepped closer to look at the chest's contents with Keri. "Sweet," She said, and picked up a peice of the wood, "But what are we supposed to do with..." Her question drifted off as she took a closer look at the wood. It was in the shape of a block. Curious, she turned, and took a couple steps away from the tree and chest. She set the blocky wood down, and it became something like a stump. "Okay..." She mummbled, and backed up next to Keri, and rejoined her at the chest. "Maybe we can build something from the wood?" She pondered, looking into the chest. She then looked up at the tree beside it, again wondering if there was something they could do with it.

Once Alex and Xander explained the details of the cave, Rina nodded in agreement. "Okay, I'm ready!" She let the others take the lead since they knew the way. Before long she could see the rough stone pillar up ahead. "Is it that one?" She pointed at a deeply shadowed area not far away - just in time to hear a low, wordless groan that came from the same direction.

" Yep. " Alex said as she neared the pillar. Alex ran to the pillar and heard the moan and as the sky darkened she could make out in the surprising light of night what looked like a person, but the moaning showed just what it was and a few second latter she could see it. Zombies were real, well Alex didn't know what she expected from the world zombies had been motioned. Well, she would ignore it for now no time to fight she didn't have the sword and she jumped down into the hold landing a little in front of the mostly covered entrance.

Xander took a glance at the zombie...man, that thing was terrifying and ugly! He pulled out his sword and started slashing at it, but it took a bit until it disappeared because the sword was wood. once the zombie was defeated, it seemed to have dropped a feather for some odd reason..He didn't question it because he was too busy going into the gave and blocking it up when they had enough space.

He came back and helped Alex out ofthe hole, then looked at her and Rina. "Come on, let's set some torches out. We should craft some weapons too, just in case." He said.

Rina let out a sigh of relief once the three of them reached the entrance unharmed. When she looked around, it didn't seem like the cave was connected to anything, but the back was too dark for her to make out any details. "I'm glad we only ran into one zombie. Arrows are much harder to get away from!" She made her way to one of the walls and set her table down there. "Okay! Let's make stone tools for now. Iron is better, but we have to find it first, and wood wears out pretty fast..." Out of habit she reached for a torch, only to pout on realizing she still didn't have much of anything. "If we want to cook or use other ore, we're going to need more torches too, and a forge. Maybe a chest to store things in once we have more wood..." As soon as she could actually see, she would put together a few items for herself - a sword, a pickax, and enough sticks for about a dozen torches - with the rest of her small supply of wood saved for later. "As long as it doesn't lead to anywhere dangerous, a place like this is sort of safe, once there's light and no monsters can get in."

Keri tossed her broken glasses into the chest and turned around to see a clunky piece of wood placed onto the grass beside them, she became very perplexed with how things worked around here, it seemed easier to create things here than in the world they were in not so long ago "yeah, we should start building some kind of shelter, we don't really know what could be lurking at night" her eyes drifted over to the Ax inside the chest it hand a smooth wooden handle that tied itself around the triangle shaped stone -Maybe I could some more wood from that tree over there-

Anjali nodded, and took the remaing stakc of wood from the chest. She eyed the axe Keri held, and looked to the tree. "I can start building, if you wanna try and get more materials..." She said, and looked back into the chest, checking to see if there was anything else they could use to build with. She didn;t see much else that could be useful, and she stepped back, to wait for Keri's reply before she did much else.

"O-oh! Okay well I'll be right back" Keri looked down at her hands and felt a bit dubious, seeing as she wasn't tough really made her feel like she wasn't good enough compared to the others in her town, she had always been picked on for not having enough physical strength, they had always called her a runt or a waste of air, of course her cousins heard but they never did much maybe pat her on the back but that was all. Keri tightened her grip around the ax filling her head with the hateful words they used it made her angry, angry enough to take it out on the tree and with a swing of the ax she impaled the wood with the ax causing it to tip over sideways "..!?"

" We got most of that covered, i think Xander made a forge earlier and we made form stone tools" Alex said as she fiddled with the last sticks she had to make torches though how she made 8 she didn't know.

" Oh yeah before i forget I have done a lot today and well I don't feel sleepy, does this world have beds, and if so do we need them to sleep?" Alex asked as she stuck some torches to the walls finding the cave went on a little bit before it started going down slight though it looked like it ended not far from where Alex had lit up. Still with this world there could be more and Alex may have just not seen it

Anjali turned an continued to place blocks, steming off from the one she placed earlier. She had an idea in her head, and was slowly working at it. A thwack, coming from Keri with her axe, made Anjali turn towards her, to see the tree leaning over sideways. She blinked. "Okay, how'd you do that??" She called, her voice fully curious, then continued placing blocks. However curious she was, they needed to get this completed before something bad happened.

(Sorry about the wait.)

The light from the torches on the wall filled the space around them, and the cheery glow seemed to raise Rina's spirits too. "Yup, we have beds here!" she answered happily, most of her new wooden tools tucked away. Where, exactly, had been a question she had never asked. People having storage space for hand-sized tools that became usable at will was just one of those things that was 'normal' for her. "I guess you could sleep on the ground if you didn't have one...but I've never seen anybody do that before, and I've never felt tired enough to try it, even after working all day."

Already feeling curious, she walked to one wall of their cave-shelter and peered closely at the walls. It looked like normal stone all around, with the broken lines of cobblestone showing the areas they had blocked off, but maybe something was in the shadows at the back. Hopefully she would find ore instead of monsters. "Maybe that means sleeping doesn't work here unless you have a bed?" she wondered aloud. "Is it normal where you come from to sleep without something to sleep on?" Rina swung her pickax at one of the hidden walls until she had collected a small pile of stone. "If we want to make beds, we'll have to find sheep or spiders to make the cloth, and then use some wood for the base."

" Spiders?" Alex said thinking of the tiny spiders of earth well that would take longer than finding some sheep. This just meant they had the whole night to stay up do work or have fun.

" But yeah it isn't required but preferred we can sleep and we get tired if we do work unlike here. " Alex said with a sigh this was one odd world and raised many questions at least when one thought about it. " Anywho that leaves us with a whole night and not much to do, unless we want to mine or do something more fun" Alex said with a devious smile Xander might get her meaning as he had been around her long enough to get her a little no doubt.
