" We got most of that covered, i think Xander made a forge earlier and we made form stone tools" Alex said as she fiddled with the last sticks she had to make torches though how she made 8 she didn't know.
" Oh yeah before i forget I have done a lot today and well I don't feel sleepy, does this world have beds, and if so do we need them to sleep?" Alex asked as she stuck some torches to the walls finding the cave went on a little bit before it started going down slight though it looked like it ended not far from where Alex had lit up. Still with this world there could be more and Alex may have just not seen it
Xander nodded and set the furnace down in the corner. "Yep! Made one earlier, so this should help." He said, then wondered about the beds with Alex. "Yeah, Do we? I imagine we should.." He asked.

MidnightDaybreak said:
The light from the torches on the wall filled the space around them, and the cheery glow seemed to raise Rina's spirits too. "Yup, we have beds here!" she answered happily, most of her new wooden tools tucked away. Where, exactly, had been a question she had never asked. People having storage space for hand-sized tools that became usable at will was just one of those things that was 'normal' for her. "I guess you could sleep on the ground if you didn't have one...but I've never seen anybody do that before, and I've never felt tired enough to try it, even after working all day."
Already feeling curious, she walked to one wall of their cave-shelter and peered closely at the walls. It looked like normal stone all around, with the broken lines of cobblestone showing the areas they had blocked off, but maybe something was in the shadows at the back. Hopefully she would find ore instead of monsters. "Maybe that means sleeping doesn't work here unless you have a bed?" she wondered aloud. "Is it normal where you come from to sleep without something to sleep on?" Rina swung her pickax at one of the hidden walls until she had collected a small pile of stone. "If we want to make beds, we'll have to find sheep or spiders to make the cloth, and then use some wood for the base."
"Hm... probably this worlds rule. Like gravity, wearyness probably doesn't work well here either." He said, then nodded at Rina's next comment. "Maybe. It's probably a theory to test." He said. "Well...yeah, it is. On earth, we sleep on the floor, some on the streets, some in a bed or a hammock....so yeah." He said, answering Rina. When she said spiders, he tried not to freak. "S-spiders? I've read about this..in a junglish or foreign place like this, spides are supposed to be big..scaringly big. Not sure about it in this world, But I could imagine it's the same." He said.

Karcen said:
" Spiders?" Alex said thinking of the tiny spiders of earth well that would take longer than finding some sheep. This just meant they had the whole night to stay up do work or have fun.
" But yeah it isn't required but preferred we can sleep and we get tired if we do work unlike here. " Alex said with a sigh this was one odd world and raised many questions at least when one thought about it. " Anywho that leaves us with a whole night and not much to do, unless we want to mine or do something more fun" Alex said with a devious smile Xander might get her meaning as he had been around her long enough to get her a little no doubt.
Xander nodded to What Alex said. "Yep. Mining and..." He began, then saw her devious smile. "Ohhh no no no, I know that look! No no no no no! We are not having that type of fun!" He said scooting a bit away from her. "In that case, I am gonna get to mining.." He said, blushing intensely as he took out a pickaxe and began mining along side Rina.

Max frowns as he hears the clanking noise. "Yeah, I hear it too." He pushes past Emmy and walks outside, he looks around in the dark. Frowning, he places a torch on the wall two crates high next to the door. He smiles as the view distance grows. "Hello?! Anyone out here?"

"Oh, I see..." While Rina's image of their world was far from complete, she looked fascinated the more they spoke of it. "So you have to go to sleep even if you aren't ready, but you can rest anywhere?" She thought about this for a moment. "I thought I was at home when I woke up here, because I'm always in bed when I sleep, but for you it must have been a lot different..."

She paused in her digging when large spiders were mentioned. "Near my home, the spiders were kinda small sometimes. Only...hmm...this big?" she held her hands apart at a width far too large for earthly spiders, though she didn't know that. "...not counting the legs. I've heard ones in the jungle are even bigger, but I've never been. Ones in caves are more dangerous than above ground, though...I don't know if we want to hunt them with just stone swords. But they're easier to see than zombies or skeletons. Their eyes have this red glow in the dark, and you can hear them coming too."

In the shadows, she couldn't see Xander's blush. "Fun? What kind of fun things?" If Rina had been a puppy, her tail would've started to wag.

Alex laughed that was the reaction she expected honestly though Rina's reaction was hilarious she was apparently very innocent and no matter what one might think Alex really wasn't in any hurry to make people mature in that respect they would figure it out themselves, they had to here.

" Let's just say adult things, that really aren't appropriate right now " Alex said being a bit honest that doing anything but trying to survive really was irresponsible. " Oh yeah before I forget I have been meaning to ask about farming here where do the seeds come from?" She asked not sure if they had to find a plant or just any grass would work.

Anjali turned an continued to place blocks, steming off from the one she placed earlier. She had an idea in her head, and was slowly working at it. A thwack, coming from Keri with her axe, made Anjali turn towards her, to see the tree leaning over sideways. She blinked. "Okay, how'd you do that??" She called, her voice fully curious, then continued placing blocks. However curious she was, they needed to get this completed before something bad happened.
(Sorry about the wait.)
Keri kept quiet half afraid and half confused, she didn't really hear Anjali speak to her since she was still stuck in a state of shock but maybe it was just part of the video game, she could never do that in real life -I'll just try it again..- her arms swung back up into the air again smashing the large solid wood causing the whole tree to turn into several smaller cubes, she shook her head and threw the ax onto the ground spotting some small dents on it "o-oh.." Her hands scooped up the cubes nervously not wanting to cause damage to them "I'll be right back, have these by the way" Keri plopped the cubes beside anjali quickly turning to find another tree.

Emmy stumbled back, falling on her butt. "AAAAAGH!!!" She screamed. "GET BACK IN THE HOUSE!!! THE HOUSE!!! GET IN IT!!!" She lept up from the ground and pulled out an axe and started swinging it wildly, charging for the door.

On her way to the door of the house, she wacked a zombie with the wooden axe, breaking the axe completely. She then stumbled through and slammed the door. "What...the...hell?!" She said between breaths.

Rina didn't get what was so funny, and the explanation left her with even more questions, but she decided that it might be better to ask about that 'adult' stuff later on. "Seeds? Wheat's the only one we can get around here, but it's super easy to get! You know the long grasses outside? If we break them, we can get seeds, and then you till the ground and plant. I've done it a lot!"

That happy confidence faded a bit after thinking about the rest of the answer. "We should be able to grow more things around here...carrots, potatoes, even pumpkins! I've never seen them in the wild before, so I don't know exactly how to find them; the seeds we had were from other seasons. But if we find a village, we could always trade for some! Oh, and we can make sugar too, once we find those plants." Her pile of cobblestone had grown quite a bit as she dug; the back of the cave had a defined hole already. On the way down she created the beginnings of a rough staircase to use for climbing back up. "We can even grow wheat and sugar cane inside; plants just need dirt and water and light, it doesn't have to be the sun all the time. Indoor farms don't have to be fenced off like outside ones, to keep animals and monsters out, but it would take a lot of digging to make a big enough space for a house and a farm in a small cave."

Thunk! That sound interrupted her chatter, and she stopped to see what she had hit. "Yay, more coal!" A small cluster of it had been hidden several layers beneath the surface. "Let's see if there's more..." Rina squeezed into the gap, going head first, her bottom half poking out and wiggling as she reached further. The opening was just barely large enough for her to fit - maybe a little smaller than that. "We're probably not deep enough yet to find iron, but I'm looking for some," she called back.

"Yeah," he exhales loudly. He looks back to the door where the zombie creature was hitting it, but doing no damage to the door. Max stands up slowly, noting the quickly fading pain. "That's just the problem though, I shouldn't be. This is uncannily similar to a video game." Max walks over to the building bench and after a try or so he comes back with two stone swords. He hands one to Emmy and nods. "In case they get in."

Emmy gave a small nod. "Thanks." She then looked at the zombie banging on the door. "Looks like we're back to talking." She said.

Emmy gave a shrug. "I don't know. Maybe we can't sleep in this world." She said. She then chuckled to herself. "I wonder if they think I ran away again..." She said, smiling.

"I have no one to wonder that." Max mulls over the details of his life. "Probably better that way, anyway."

Emmy gave a small nod. "It's usually when I try to run away when my foster parent dumps me in someone else's home." She said. She then changed the topic. "So what do you do in the video games?" She asked.

Max walks over and sits by the torch once more as he stares at the fire, watching as the fire forms the life he once had in his mind's eye. "Oh, you could do anything..." He whispers, just loud enough for Emmy to hear. Images of brave warriors locked in combat danced in the firelight, a soldier fighting for his life against insurmountable odds and overcoming it, and a man stranded alone, forced to rebuild his life and survive. "You could go on an epic quest to save the world, fight for your life against forces larger than yourself..." A sprawling landscape unfurls before him as he stands atop a mountain. "You could adventure and discover things no man had seen before..." He walks through the house and gets in his car. "You could make a new life for yourself, better than anything one could truly do." All the characters he had ever created flash before his eyes. "More than anything else, you could be yourself while being the furthest from yourself you could ever get."
