Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

Aermik looked to the queen, "I shall calm the men, you handle him." He sighed as he walked forward to where most of the fighting was happening, walking in between two men as they both accidentally swung at him, one sword burying itself deep in his stomach, the other his left arm. He cried out and looked to both men as he pulled first the sword from his stomach out, then the sword in his arm. The soldier of the fire kingdom dropped his weapon in horror as the gaping hole in Aermik's stomach closed, sealing itself as if he had never been penetrated. He continued walking forward to the center of the room, opting to take the force of every blow head on. Each time grabbing the blade and pulling it from his body with his bare hands. Soldiers began dropping their weapons as they saw how bloodstained his clothing became. One soldier screamed, "Monster!" and charged at Aermik, slashing him from his shoulder to hips. Aermik let out a gasp, falling to his knees as his blood sprayed out. He then grabbed the soldier's sword with his bare hands, cutting deeply and blood dripping as he yanked it out of the his hands. The soldier trembled as Aermik stood back up, internal damage no longer showing as fighting slowly began to stop as more and more saw the true power of "The Undying".

Swords had pierced his skin, severed bone, tendon, and even sliced entrails. Yet this man marched on. Thoughtless, determined, consumed, terrifying. Even more accented by the fact that he showed no attempt to fight back. Almost as though he had but a singular mission. The melee parted as the soldiers of the dark kingdom knew better than to stand in his way and the fire soldiers scrambling as it seemed all tales about the monster of Bellatrix were true. Aermik stuck his own sword in the ground, it clanging loudly through the room. "If there be man, demon, werewolf, shadow, or undead who wishes to fight, they may whet their appetite for violence against me!" He said outstretching his hands, looking to the entire room, "None of you have even so much as slowed my march! What chance have you against me when my sword is drawn?! I ask of you, is there any man foolish enough to attempt to fight me in my own home?" The soldiers stayed quiet as his booming voice echoed throughout the castle. "Hear my name and bend thine knees. For I am Aermik, The Undying! Those who are enemy to the one queen Bellatrix, speak now! Lest you invoke my wrath just as one of our own have today! Fear not kingdom of fire, for those who remain true to your cause and to ours, I promise you vengeance and repayment in the blood of the coward!" He said lifting his sword high, "But, I warn of you. Should any be so foolish as to raise their blade against me or my house, he will wish that death was the end." A hush quiet fell over the crowd as Aermik parted them away from Zelarous. He pointed to a lone soldier, shaking so hard his armor rattled, "You, you will fetch your king, you will tell him to bring his sword to deal with a most wretched fiend." The soldier scrambled on all four limbs, running away from Aermik, as if he had seen the reaper himself.

Chains ripped from the solid ground and wrapped themselves around his arms. He did not wish to fight his queen, in fact he couldn't. Without her, there was almost no reason for this attempted action. Though the question remained in his head, would he lye down and be slaughtered like a dog by the queen's pet who he had grown to loath. Everything Zelarous stood for, Aermik seemed to stand against. It was clear to Zelarous, the position that he was in. One with no good outcome, and one that would most likely end in his death, or that is how it seemed to him. It seemed he had no choice, he was in a cornered like a wounded animal entrapped by its owner. He managed to use his shoulder to lower the cloth mask from the bottom half of his face. It was something he did so little, that most would be surprised to see a normal face underneath. "Our king....?" he muttered the words in disbelief. 'Did she refer to the king of the fire nation as our king?' he asked himself in his thoughts. What was more important to him, his queen, or his life? Could he stand to part with either of them, or would that drive him to insanity? What looked like glowing lights of various colors began to surround Zelarous, not nearly as many souls as he had hoped for. They began to go towards him, entering his mouth. He could feel only a small increase of his previous power. He had devoured countless souls already, this was nothing comparable. He tugged at the chains, as they began to creak, perhaps even crack. He was unsure of his next move. "Queen Bellatrix..." he started "..why can you not see that what I do is for you. Everyone knows what they desire, but not all know what they need. I have the foresight, I know what you can become with the right guidance."

@xEmoBunnehx @Airagog

The chains only seemed to tighten and clamp down harder as black flames slowly began their decent upwards, stopping only mid way. It hurt Bellatrix deeply to see that not only had Aermik been hurt a thousand times over, but her dear Zel had gone wrong. In truth, she did not wish for him to die..but if that is what the King decided on..then so be it. She would mourn the loss of one of her own. One she considered family. After Zel had finished speaking, her eyes fell upon his. "Zelarous. From the day I found you, I have known what you are and what you require. That does not excuse this outburst. Greed can often cause more harm than you truly believe. I know what you think you did was right, but it was not at all my child. If you really believe that I am fighting this war for my personal gain then you have learned nothing from my teachings. Peace is what we need. Banishment of hatred and prejudice. Cannot you not see that what you have done has not only proven that the Dark Kingdom hasn't overcome it's feats..that our kingdom is not to be trusted?" Her voice never wavered as she spoke, "I do not seek power. I seek to show that our kingdom had become more than the rumors. More than the hate and lies. We are not bad people. We are who we are. As a nation..we are deemed frightful, and though most of everything is my fault..I have been trying for ages to fix my wrongs child. What you have just done..it's gone against what I wished. You are my most loyal of knights. What say you for your actions?"

Bellatrix's heart was heavy as she stared him down, though one would never be able to tell from the way she spoke, stood or other wise. The words she'd just spoken..the power and truth behind them..it was all there. She hoped and wished that everyone in the castle could hear the sincerity in her speech. More than anything..Bellatrix wanted to right her wrongs.

((And with this. I go to bed. Goodnight. I'll reply either when I wake up, if I have time, or when I get home.))

Zelarous dropped to his knees. Her ideals seemed to conflict with his own. He had known this for some time now, but refused to accept it. He thought he could mold her into what he wished her to be. He wanted to be with his queen, perhaps that is what blinded him. The mixture between his loyalty and own desires were too much for him. How could he fulfill his desires and serve her? Has his loyalty clouded his mind, or was it his desires keeping him from being what he strived to be. He put his hands on the cold stone ground. His internal struggle was evident on his face. He looked up at his queen's face for a moment, his face beginning to calm. He opened his mouth as the souls began to pour within him. He did not wish to fight his queen but he would not die here.

For what seemed like a millennium, the Emperor's bold yet sincere sentences hung in the air. Elsbeth, silent in unexpected awe, pondered and pondered his words like they could end her life. Breaking the silence, she let out a small hearty laugh, showing Galandor a small yet meaningful smile, as she replied to his request. "Well, when you put me on the spot like this... there's no way I couldn't accept, right? Even I know the stature that a General holds, after all.". Almost under her breath, she muttered "...but damn, you're way too good at this...", the first sign of jealousy that she had displayed in a longest while. Elsbeth was shaking very slightly, the levity of the situation seemingly too good to be true. It threatened to break down her usually more stern nature right there on the spot. Taking a moment to compose, she stared back into the Emperor's amber eyes. "But... are you sure the rest of the Blaze Guard will be OK with this - you know, you rising an accused bandit with a dream to conquer a bunch of rubble to such a high position? I doubt that'll go down well, from my experience."

@Raizel

Tina had seen the whole spectacle. The blood being she'd scared her and seeing Aermik hurt even more. She was hiding under a coach nearby and tears ran down her face to what she had seen. She had just wanted to go for a walk...

Tina kept hidden, paralyzed in shock. She had never seen so much blood but once. That one time was when she was very young. Memories flashed up, mixed with the feelings of now. Tina shivered, she felt nausea build up. This was all too much, why couldn't she be a normal girl with a normal life?

"I'll make sure all the arrangements will be done. In the meanwhile, I'd like you to join me in the negotiations of the peace treaty I'm signing here. I believe it'll help you get accost-" his voice was cut short by a soldier, his face damp from cold sweat, his tan skin now pale in fear. "M-my lord, a fight has broke out in the castle. The Undying, he... he's requesting your presence, lest he'll slaughter every single one of the Blaze Guard that has come with you..." His raspy voice, filled with fear, ringed inside Galandor's mind. Attack, kill, Undying, fight, castle. His eyes widened as he drew one of his swords, Spark. "W-what? Take me directly to the fight, soldier. And Elsbeth, I believe we shall have much to discuss, but right now I must resolve this issue. Follow me if you will." He rushed inside the castle, where a curious scene has unfurled. The assassin from before, the Queen of Plants escort, is chained down by magic chains. Aermik is standing, his clothes ripped and bloody, his sword drawn. Some of his soldiers in a corner of the room, while the Dark Kingdom's soldiers in another, ready to clash steel. Some of his men's bodies were on the floor, lifeless. The same could be said for the Dark Kingdom's soldiers. "What... happened here? WHO'S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?" He shouted.

"Well I am very fond of you Duke Faolin," Thalia stated hearing that he liked her but she knew it was a start of a new friendship and Thalia loved making new friends. It's been a while since Thalia had started a relationship with a elf ever since her boyfriend had passed away. Thalia sighed,"I will be fine, thank you." Thalia said as she felt the bandage pressing against her finger which made her cut sting even more but Thalia could handle the pain. "It is well wrapped, thank you." Thalia said as she stood up from the chair and kissed him his hand as thanks. His hand was surprisingly cool like hers unlike when she felt that warm aura near him.
Looking at her Faolin smiled and blushed slightly. He bowed to her and stated, "Thank you Queen Thalia. Your kindness proceeds with you. Friends?" He then looked at his hand. He wasn't able to keep himself this normal in ages. Odd. Softly, he stated, "If you're wondering where my heat went, I can control how hot I am and decided to be cooler for you since you didn't seem to like my heat aura." He grinned at her charmingly.

Vlad walked through the forest filled with foliage, occasionally a deer or an elk would past by. He did not know where he was going but that didn't stop him from just walking. Vlad wasn't from this land, no one knew him and he knew no one. He carried around with him 2 magic pistols. As a Vampire, he did not need food, just blood, which he conveniently carries in small vials with himself.

Rustling from a bush could be heard, Vlad stopped for a moment. Suddenly an arrow came flying at him and landed at a tree nearby. 4 hooded figures appeared from the thick bushes, Vlad smiled.

2907302_1343347952006.6res_500_284.jpg

One of the hooded men walked up with a dagger in hand.

"Give us your sh*t or there'll be a bloody mess."

Vlad's smile widened, and he began to chuckle which then turned into laughter.

"What so funny? I SAID HAND OVER YOUR SH*T, ALL OF IT"

Vlad smirked.

"Releasing control art restriction systems level 4, commencing Crommwel Invocation"

Shadows rushed out of the ground and pierced the hooded man's chest. As he fell to the ground, the shadows caught him. Vlad proceeded to sink his teeth into the hooded man's neck. As his soul, knowledge and memories were being consumed, the remaining 3 hooded men stood there paralysed with fear.

Vlad launched his shadows toward the other 3 which consequently made a huge pool of blood on the bushes, grass, and trees. He took out empty vials from under his coat and snapped his fingers, the blood from around the area and on his clothes rushed into the vials filling them up.

Vlad analyzed the information he had gotten from the man with the dagger.

Hmmm... A war eh? Kingdoms... This is gonna be fun.....

Deep in the woods, farthest from all kingdom lies a large encampment. Multiple tents up and open, with a busy of people. Trees hid the encampment from view from all sides, and large wooden spiked walls surrounded the encampment with one large gate. Multiple camp fires burn, while people run around gathering wood, sharpening blades, cooking, etc. This was the rebel encampment.

Avelyn stood in a larger tent, where a table was in the center, a lamp, and an end table in the corner. On the table in the middle was a layout of the plant kingdom, a map. She leaned over the map. Studying it one last time. The plan was set. Now she just needed to pick who was coming with her. And she knew just the people.

Her confidence began to return. It would make sense that he was here on political business, now that the Dark Kingdom seemed more open to discussion. But a peace treaty? The kingdoms seemed to be at their throats in the danger of war, so it checked out as well, but the idea was a little bizarre still. "Glad to--", she spoke, before the fear-ridden soldier interrupted them with great distress. At first, Elsbeth thought as if her ears were telling her lies. No-one would dare break out in a fight in the middle of unknown territory without at least some level of sense, she thought, as hypocritical as it may of been considering her prior situation. But as she began to trail onto herself in doubt, Galandor's command brought her back to reality. Pulling her blades into both hands, she prepared for the worst as she ran quickly inside the castle with the Emperor, the anxious atmosphere overriding her latent curiosity. Seeing the foul scene painted before them, Elsbeth gritted her teeth - as if the pain of the scene itself had sunk into her. "W-what... in the seven hells..."

Em had emerged from her castle fort some hours before and traveled in the form of a blackbird high over the kingdoms. Upon reaching the kingdom she sought to work for, her powerful wings circled once overhead the castle before diving down to land atop one of its spires. Down in the depths of the castle, she would seek work for the plant queen, a woman of whom she'd heard many tales but never had the pleasure of meeting in person. Fluttering off the spire, Em shifted back to her human form as she dove down through the thick layers of trees to land on the cobbled, winding streets of the plant kingdom. The castle laid just ahead and flicking up her cloak hood, the mage mounted the steps quietly.

After devouring the souls of the dead soldiers...yes...even his own as he tugged at the chains. He managed to break them, though it was not easy. He was unsure if he would had been able to do that before he ingested those souls. He saw the fire king coming his way, shouting at the top of his lungs for the one responsible. It was as if Zelarous was frozen in time, his mind telling him to stay, but his legs telling him to run. It was easy to see from the king's reaction that Zelarous would be nothing more than a dead knight, executed for his 'betrayal'. It hurt Zelarous to do this but he had little choice A wall of fire grew between him and the others, a demonic heat from the hell he had been imprisoned in roared like an inferno. This was simply a distraction, something to make sure they couldn't see his movements. He was the fastest in the kingdom, he had never met someone who could match his speed, so he ran. He did not wish to harm the queen, so he saw this as his only option. "How did she find out...?" he asked himself as he ran through the corridors.

@ Anyone it may concern within the kingdom of darkness

"Friends," Thalia said with a smile on her face. When the DUke was telling her that he lowered his heat to be around her she shook her head,"I had no problem with it," Thalia said to him. She actually felt warm when around him, and plus she was used to the warm since her kingdom was pretty warm.

Smiling at her Faolin readjusted his temperature to a little heat but not too much. He looked at Thalia and stated, “Thanks I thought you did since you moved away from me when we were walking.” He touched her hand which was now cold in comparison with his semi warm one. He looked at her then asked, “What are your powers Thalia? I’ll tell you mine if you want.” He was trusting her with a lot, he realized. What was he doing? Nothing just being a good friend.

Entering the castle, Em shifted her gaze to the guards and held her head high giving them no reason to question her motives. Her presence in the waiting area to the throne room dropped the temperature a few degrees, causing a small shape nestled in her cowl under her long red hair to let out a small grunt of complaint and steam rose up through her strands. Em looked to her shoulder and brushed her hair aside to shush a small silvery scaled creature with reptilian amber eyes, her companion from the arcane realm. Not quite a dragon and not quite a lizard, the small creature was known for nestling around heat vents and could be trained to make good cooking fires if one knew what they were doing. Murc, the lizard thing, snorted steam again and in response Em nudged his nose for him to calm down before turning back to the large doors, waiting for them to open.

A blue Jay swooped into the plant kingdom. It swerved through the halls and kingdoms searching for Ryan. It swerved into the thorn room to see a girl with a reptile thing. It watched as the girl seemed to calm down the reptile. That kid needs to know this ,He thought. He swooped downward to get a good view of it. He knew that the kid was not in the ice kingdom, since the blue jay was just there. Did he say something about the water kingdom? The blue jay thought. He swooped downward toward the exit, right in front of the girl on accident. It swooped out of the door and flew toward the water kingdom.

Thalia looked at the duke and smiled, she felt him touch her hands and this brought back some memories to her since it felt like it was her ex lover touching her. Thalia pulled her hand back slowly away from his,"I am sorry," Thalia looked at him. "Sorry.." She repeated again. Thalia took a few moments to regain herself and then she looked up at him,"The people in my kingdom call me a 'seer,' I have the ability to predict the future or I can tap into someone's memories and view their past." Thalia told him as she took in a few deep breaths. "I also have a few nature manipulation powers as well," Thalia continued,"How about you?" SHe asked.

Silently Faolin retracted his hand when she reacted badly. He looked sorry and concerned all at once. He watched her then remembered why she acted like this as he sighed softly. When she finished he replied, “I really should be the one apologizing.” He was talking about touching her hand then continued as for my powers, I can do this.” He held his hand away for her as his hand glowed red then a ball of flickering fire appeared over his hand as Faolin stated, “I also turn into a dragon made of fire when I am angry. Aside from my ability to sense people in danger, I have no other powers.” His hand returned to normal as the fire ball vanished then Faolin snapped his fingers, “Wait I forgot.” He pulled out a glass globe that was small. Faolin made a fireball then put it in the globe and sealed it and handed it to Thalia making sure the glass was not hot by returning his palm to normal a little warm not much. He stated, “If you need me break the globe, and I will come to you immediately.” He smiled gently at her.

"You do have something special Duke Faolin," Thalia said as she smiled at him. Iris watched as he made a small fireball and put it into a globe to seal it off. She was surprised he gave it to her. Thalia smiled at him,"This is very thoughtful of you, thank you." Thalia said to him. Thalia felt that she had nothing to offer him, so she put her hand out and a small flower began to grow at rapid rate. Once it stopped growing she took it out of her hand and gave it to him,"I know that I cannot give you anything now but have this just for the moment." Thalia said. This was a small gift but she rarely did they for anything." Thalia smiled and hoped that he took the flower like she took his box. @Lighthouse8477

Smiling at Thalia Faolin replied, “Thank you Thalia and your welcome.” He stood and watched her think and feel bad about not having something for him. He was going to tell her not to worry about it when she grew a flower from her hand. He looked wide eyed. When she offered it he reached out his hand cooling it as he took the flower gently and stated, “Its lovely thank you Thalia.” He put it in his suit coat pocket. He looked back up at her then stated, “We should probably get back to the palace, I heard a commotion a while back, and I am worried my King would have called me if I needed him so maybe it’s nothing.” He looked at the castle, in the distance, then at Thalia and smiled. Bowing he stated, “However, I wish to stay here with you.”

"Let us head back, I would not want your king to worry about your disappearance." Thalia told him and smiled. Thalia got up from the chair and she began to walk out of the door but waited for Faolin in the hallway. She did hear a few loud commotions but thought it was nothing but then she had heard Bellatrix's voice and thought it might be serious. Thalia looked down at the globe of fire and saw how beautiful it looked. Thalia took out a book of hers and it had a few blank pages on it, she opened up to a blank page and she pressed the globe between her hand and the empty page and she watched as a white glow formed around her hand and the globe was gone in number of seconds into her book. She was beautiful. He sighed. Smiling he followed her then watched as she imprisoned his fire globe. He gaped then shook his head. He asked, “How did you do that?” He knew how he just like asking her questions. He walked along with her wanting to touch her hand then decided against it.

Thalia waited for Faolin to come out and so she put the book away on the strap that was around her thigh near her two daggers that she had always kept around and never left without it. @Lighthouse8477

Silently Faolin looked at Thalia and smiled. He stated, "Sorry I had to think for a bit." He had to get her out of his mind is what he needed. It was impossible however so he had given up. He offered his hand and asked, "Shall we and nice daggers may I see one?"
