Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

Listening intently to the Emperor's statement, a discrepancy in his words crept up in her mind. Sure, she could understand being on the wanted list after abandoning the kingdom, not just once but twice. But atrocities? Tarnishing the family name? From her understanding, she had committed nothing of the sort. So what was with the assumption? "...I left to rebuild my family's broken name, not tarnish it. My ultimate goal was, and still is to conquer that travesty of a biome. Think of it as a retribution for weakness. But committing atrocities!? I've done nothing of the sort! I...". She was left with nothing to say when it came to her family. The fact that her family had been asking for Elsbeth's retrieval twisted itself inside of her. But surely they knew naught of the truth. Surely. "...You're here on other business. You wouldn't come all the way to the Dark Kingdom just to drag a stray back. Though, I'd doubt you'd let me be any the wiser to your situation.". At this point, she was flustered out of controlling anger. If she were just a few years younger, she may of tried to bring a blade to Galandor's neck. But knowing his influence, she could do naught but stir the pot if she did so.

Silently Faolin looked at Thalia's blush. It only increased her beauty. Smiling he looked at her and stated, “Well whatever you heard I would like to set the record straight. I am a respectful person who just speaks his mind when it comes to whom he speaks with others, especially beautiful women…Sorry I really do need to work on it. So what brings you to hear Thalia besides the treaties?” If there was such a thing.

"Stop, you are my making me blush." Thalia said to him as she looked down and shook her head, knowing that her cheeks were already red. Thalia tried to get a hold of herself but he was so charming and spoke so kindly to her. Thalia brought her head back up to make eye contact with him,"Maybe I have, maybe I have not." Thalia said jokingly to his response. "He is Queen Bellatrix's servant I guess or as she likes to say it..her family." Thalia said. Thalia watched as Zelarous made way away from them, hearing his footsteps fade away even more.

Thalia looked at him and gave off a small chuckle. She really did see that he was respectful, but was he hiding something underneath that smile of his? Thalia questioned to herself. "I have to make amends with the Queen, her and I...let us say got off on the wrong foot." She told him as she let out a sigh and brushed her hair off of her shoulder.

Chuckling Faolin stated, “Can’t be any worse than what I did. I told her how to handle her daughter and suggestions on punishment. I was worried about the girl because I can sense when other people are in danger and my father was very abusive, so I couldn’t help but say something. I am sure the Queen will forgive you; she seems oddly nice for a dark Queen. My King seems…” He lowered his voice to a whisper and continued, “Somewhat taken with the Queen…” He raised his voice again, “It’s none of my business any ways. Is there anything you wish to ask me? I will answer honestly.”

Tyrael took on the form of a young aged man that had a clean and bright face and complexion. He had bright golden hair which was long. He visited the grand gardens of the Plant Kingdom. He smiled a cheeky smile while wandering around, enjoying the great beauty of the flowers and the wonderful scent.

Tyrael kneeled to a bush filled with lush red roses. He held his palm out towards the bush and a bright light imbued with gold and white immerse from his palm. From the lights gave birth to a similar rose from thr bushes. He stood and continued to wander around, smelling the rose as he walk.

"I can see your anger. You're struggling to not draw steel. I don't understand either. I'm seeing it, you're telling the truth. Perhaps..." He thought for a while. He approached Elsbeth, a passive stance showing no harm. "You did no crime other than seeking a better future for your family, am I right? I can see it, the struggles you had to take to salvage what little the Naman'ic name had, after the Hearthfire Treason..." He sighed. "This has been all a huge misunderstanding... A mistake I'll correct now." He raised his voice, sure to see that everyone in the vicinity could hear. "I hereby grant you total forgiveness for any crime atribuitted to your name. Elsbeth Naman'ic, you're free to go." He pondered for a second, then smiled. "Your feats, however, makes me think that an opportunity like that can't be passed. My master, Emperor Lionheart, was heavily reliant on the Naman'ic family. They were trusted in the whole Citadel. I intend on keeping that. Your family begged me to take you home. Can you attend their wish? I need strong men and women like you close. And I need a new General. How do you fare that, Elsbeth of the Naman'ic household?" It was a bold statement. The Queen of The Sun-Scorched Sands, a general of the Blaze Guard? A lot of people, including Faolin, will say that it's insane. But Galandor was fixed in correcting the mistakes of his failure, the failure that costed Emperor Lionheart his life, and almost his kingdom.

Thalia listened to him as he spoke,"You were suggesting ways on punishment?" Thalia asked as she raised an eyebrow. The thought of punishment never came across her mind since she didn't like thinking about it. When Thalia was younger she would be sent to her uncles place to hang around a few of her cousins for the time being and whenever she did something wrong he would punish her. That's the reason why Thalia doesn't like her uncle nor would she want to ever meet him again. The last time she met him was at her parents funeral but that was that. "I sure hope some," Thalia told him hoping that the queen did forgive her. "Taken? WHat do you mean by taken?" Thalia asked as she put her hand on her hip still figuring out what he was trying to say about the king being taken with the queen.

Faolin smiled at Thalia. He whispered, “You look even more striking in that pose…Anyways when I say taken I mean…” He lowered his voice and whispered, “Stricken or in teen, words had a crush, however, I could be wrong.” He listened to his Kings words as he spoke. He shrugged subsequently looked back to Thalia then recognition registered in his eyes.

Spinning around he looked at his King his eyes wide. “What?” He asked. He raised an eyebrow. H looked at Thalia and stated, “One second please.” He walked to his King then looked him in the eyes and asked, “Are you sure that’s…” He looked at the girl her eyes then stopped. His sense kicked in. He bowed to his King and stated, “Never mind I can see why you chose her. Forgive me for my outburst. He walked back to Thalia and stated, “You can still ask me another question.” He grinned.

"Seems like Bellatrix is rather busy today, maybe I should come back another time." Thalia said as she brought her hand down from her hips and let them hang there. Thalia turned to him and saw that he was talking to the king. She didn't say anything, she just stayed quiet an listened. After a few minuets passed she saw Faolin walking back to her. "Why not you ask me a few questions?" SHe asked him as she began to walk, hoping he might follow as well. @Lighthouse8477

Silently Faolin looked at Thalia. She was walking away. Looking at the King he sent him an “I have to go” Look then followed after Thalia. He came up beside her as she asked him a question. Silently he thought for a second then asked, “Thalia since you are the Queen of plants and nature, I assume you love them, which specifically do you like?” He couldn’t think of any personal questions to ask.

"Well if I am hearing your question correctly I would choose Nature, but I love them both as equally." Thalia said as she spoke calmly. Thalia loved both as equally but she liked nature mostly because it includes everything like the plants, trees, flowers, rivers/ponds/lakes, and much more. "How is it working for the Fire king?" Thalia asked him. She had never been to the Fire kingdom which explains why she had no idea who the fire king was.

Chuckling Faolin stated, “Well it’s not cold that’s for certain. Actually, it’s quite an honor. He’s the best King we’ve had in a while. He sometimes seems a bit rash, but actually he is quite wise. Plus he’s my friend. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my life. Furthermore, it’s a marvel to see him work with swords why look at the one he made me.” He pulled his sword out and held it out to Thalia as he stated, “Carful it’s sharp. And I like all nature to except for cold water it can kill me.” He grinned.

"Well I am glad you think so because some kings can be rather cruel to their citizens or even servants or advisers." Thalia said to him as she cleared her throat. Thalia kept her distance from him, he felt rather warm but she thought it was because he was from the fire kingdom. Thalia watched as he took out the sword that his king had given him, it was beautiful welded and designed. The edge was pretty sharp and Thalia accidentally cut herself, she watched as the blood ran down her finger and then her wrist about to make it down to her arm. Thalia brought her hand towards her mouth and she licked the blood from her wrist and finally making it to her cut which was on her finger. Thalia sucked on her cut finger gently. It was a pretty deep cut but she would survive. Thalia forgot that she was in front of someone and so she apologized for her actions,"My apologies for doing that in front of you." She said. Thalia handed his sword back to him. @Lighthouse8477

Silently Faolin watched as his blade cut her. He involuntarily winced. Watching her reaction, Faolin was stunned when she sucked her finger. When she said something, he listened. Taking his sword and placing it in his sheath, he lowered his body temperature to normal humans as he asked, “Can you heal that? If not at least let me wrap it up so it doesn’t bleed, and it’s fine it’s not like I haven’t seen blood before.” Her blood, however, had an odd effect on him. It caused him to feel concern and more weirdly...love. Faolin shook his head then stated, “Yes are King is good and for that I am glad. I have heard many pleasant things about your rule Thalia you are a gracious queen whose wisdom shines as much as her beauty.” He had to stop himself from saying those things, but he couldn’t.

Aermik smiled, kneeling down and kissing Tina's forehead, "I'm going to attend to some more business, you be good, okay?" He smiled leaving the small girl as he made his way up to the drawing room where Bellatrix was, sighing seeing his mistress passed out. He took off his jacket, wrapping it around her as he picked her up. "Fallen asleep again I see." He smiled gingerly picking her up and laying her head against his chest. He began to carry her down the hallways, his coat draped over her, making sure to support her head and holding her body close to his as he gracefully walked down the hallway to her chambers, carefully opening the door and laying her in her bed, pulling the covers up and over her body, tucking her in. "Sleep well Mistress Bellatrix." He smiled kissing her forehead and brushing loose strands of hair out of her face as he turned to walk out of the room.

Bellatrix, of course had actually fallen asleep middle of writing out the formal agreement and as such she'd gotten some ink on her face. The dear woman had barely gotten any sleep the night before, due mainly to the ever reoccurring nightmares of both past and future. It was always the same thing as well, though she'd never tell a soul, not even Aermik knew why she had such problems falling asleep. Though as Aermik had entered and picked her up, she woke slightly "W-who..?" She muttered before curling against whose ever arms she was in. It wasn't until she was placed in bed and Aermik almost out her door that she half-ly awoke.

As she wasn't quite fully awake, she didn't quite recolonize her dear pet as such, in stead she saw him as the outline of her late husband. This caused her to have a half sleepy, half loving smile in that direction.
"Demitri?" She called out softly and in a very sleepy voice, her mind not yet registering it was not who she claimed to think it was. After speaking she rubbed her eyes gently.

Thalia let out a sigh as they walked into a room which seemed to look like the infirmary, for wounded soldiers or people living in the castle. "I know that but I liked the blood from my wrist down to my finger and that was an example of bad manners." Thalia said. Thalia looked around for bandages to patch up her cut.

Aermik smiled back at Bellatrix, walking back over and gently running his fingers through her hair, "You should get some sleep. There will be plenty of time tomorrow, and you need your rest." He said softly. Her skin felt cold to the touch, yet Aermik found this strangely comforting. It was as though he wanted to warm and comfort her for this reason, to tell her that everything would be fine. Perhaps that was just paternal instincts, but they were strong feelings regardless.

Softly, Faolin snorted. He looked around and found the bandages. He set to work on wrapping her cut. He stated, “I would have done the same thing it’s a natural reaction, so I didn’t mind. Besides I am beginning to like you…” He stopped then continued carefully. “I would suggest you get the herbs for this wound as soon as possible. “ He looked at Thalia. How old was he himself? He had lost count long ago he was an elf he lived forever unless killed. He pushed that aside and asked, “Is that good?” He looked at his work. It was nice and neat well bound to.

Zelarous sighed "That is right...I cannot have peace...not if I want to continue in my path." he almost silently whispered to himself. A plot began to thicken in his mind. One that guaranteed the path that he had wished the kingdom, and his queen to follow. This was the way, in his mind, this is was for the best. He walked through the halls, eyeing those around him. He was hesitant, but he knew that peace would soon be struck with the kingdom of fire if something was not done. All of those valuable souls would go to waste, and his queen's kingdom would fall short of its true potential. He wanted to make the queen rule all of the land among this mortal realm he found himself in. He was in a hallway with a mix of soldiers, from both the fire, and the kingdom of darkness. He rounded the corner and noticed only two soldiers. One was a soldier of the dark kingdom, and the other of fire. He looked around one last time to make sure that there would be no witnesses to what he was about to do. He walked up to the two soldiers as if he were about to give them an order, but before the soldiers knew it, Zelarous had unsheathed the sword of the fire soldier and plunged it deep within his ally. "This is for the greater good of our queen." he whispered into his soldier's ear as light began to fade form his eyes. The soldier from the kingdom of fire panicked, but it was all too late for him to escape his fate. Zelarous stabbed that soldier straight threw the heart. Two dead bodies lay before his feet. Before leaving the scene Zelarous cut his left hand quite deep, he winced throwing the fire soldiers weapon to the ground. He held his hand and began to walk quickly through the halls "The kingdom of fire has betrayed us! It was all for show, to make us vulnerable, kill the soldiers of the fire kingdom, protect the queen!". he shouted as if truly concerned, holding his hand. All hell was about to break loose.

@To all it may concern

"Well I am very fond of you Duke Faolin," Thalia stated hearing that he liked her but she knew it was a start of a new friendship and Thalia loved making new friends. It's been a while since Thalia had started a relationship with a elf ever since her boyfriend had passed away. Thalia sighed,"I will be fine, thank you." Thalia said as she felt the bandage pressing against her finger which made her cut sting even more but Thalia could handle the pain. "It is well wrapped, thank you." Thalia said as she stood up from the chair and kissed him his hand as thanks. His hand was surprisingly cool like hers unlike when she felt that warm aura near him.

Bellatrix's mind finally registered that it was not who she thought it was, mainly due to the voice. After rubbing her eyes, she looked up at him and shook her head. "No..I musn't sleep. Not right now. I have very important things to do. Sleep can come later." She instructed and got up from the bed. Bellatrix understood Aermik's concern, she truly did but Queen things came first then other things. Besides, she did need to talk to Thalia whenever she was ready. It wasn't really about their treaty, but something personal that she hoped only Thalia could fix. Or perhaps could help in some way with the small problem. "Aermik..have you seen Thalia? Oh, and how is sweet little Tina. I hope you didn't harm her. She's such a good girl..I don't know why she would do something like that.." She said, frowning slightly. Perhaps it was because she ignored her? She didn't mean to.

Then very suddenly a shadow appeared, telling Bellatrix of Zelarous's feat.
"Hold that thought." She said, her voice hard as she grabbed her grimoire and left the room, rushing through the halls to find him, her heels clicking as she ran. Where are you. Come on Zel. There's no need for this. She thought as she rounded a corner and found him. "Zelarous!" Her voice was cold, much colder than it had been with Tina. Her look was harsh, her eyes stone as she stared him down. Bellatrix had hopes this would not happen, but not everything goes well when a treaty happens.

@Zelarous @Airagog

Aermik sighed as he pulled out his sword, walking through the halls behind his queen. His eyes were cold, his glare pierced straight through Zelarous. "You have committed high treason. There is but one punishment. Will you accept and go peacefully or will you invoke more anger?" He said shaking his head. Not so much angry, no. He was beyond the point of anger. Now he was disappointed, looking to Zelarous like a teacher whose student had failed, shaking his head. It was a waste. Here was an individual once with potential, now committing the highest act of treachery possible in the kingdom. There was to be no doubt of it. "I'm disappointed in you. Disappointed in your actions, in your words. You act out of line and you jeopardize the entire welfare of not one, but two kingdoms, and by extension the world." He shook his head, tempted to let the lord of the fire kingdom himself execute him.

@xEmoBunnehx @Zelarous

The fighting had already broken out among the soldiers. Blood was being spilled, the clash of swords could be heard booming in the hallways, it was a beautiful sound. He watched the blood drip from his hand and splash onto the ground. It was all as if it were in slow motion. A smile almost made its way to Zelarous' lips but he held it back, he needed to, for now. It had been done, in Zelarous' mind there could be no peace now and he had saved the queen from destroying her own potential. He heard a voice behind him, one...familiar, yet the way it was speaking to him, foreign. He turned and his eyes met with Bellatrix' own. He noticed her grimoire in her hand. 'Does she know, so fast?' he had thought he had done this in a more suttle manner. He had not noticed anyone who would alarm them. He saw Aermik turn the corner. He listened to the words of what he believed to be a narcissistic fool. "You are wrong Aermik..." he started, seeing no point in hiding his extremely short lived secret "...I am saving us, even you. I am saving this kingdom from the alliance that would squander what could be."

Bellatrix shook her head, the sounds of fighting weighing on her and in a flash she had her grimoire open, the book floating in thin air as she quickly recited an inaction. Her eyes when a dark black, as black shadowy chains shot up from the ground, tightly restraining Zelarous. The chains would feel as cold as the grave and but giving no one leeway. "Enough of this." She demanded. If this was enough to cause chaos, then this alliance would truth be trying. She knew her kingdom could not be so easily trusted and now Zelarous had possibly ruined any sense of trust there was. "Zelarous. You will be tried by not only I but King Galandor as well. This act of treason was beyond reason and for that I cannot spare you any sympathies." She stated, her voice only growing in volume before she turned to Aermik. "Get King Galandor. Tell him it is imperative he come now." She demanded before looking to everyone.

"Soldiers. Lay down your arms and join us in peace. Realize that though the dark kingdom may have went though very devious times, that was many centuries ago. Every kingdom has it's feats and down years. So I ask all of you, for the sake of both our kingdoms, lay down your weapons, lock away your hatred, and realize just how much this alliance means to both your Queen and King." Her voice was booming throughout as many people stay chained by her shadows. Bellatrix's eyes still cold and solid black, as hope bloomed in her chest. She had been trying for years to erase all the hard the Dark Kingdom had done..and now this outburst..it would be hard to repair anything if this is how easy it was for both sides to turn on one another.
