Xavier chuckled. "Yes, this is true. Your papa needed a good amount of help but don't tell him I said that." Xavier said with a chuckle. "And yes you are." He added, before he let out a little sigh. "I was a duelist. I used my knowledge of charms to battle other wizards in dueling matches." Xavier told them. "It was a wonderful experience and helped me get my job here" He added.

Logan’s brown eyes widened with awe and wonder as his father said that he used to duel people with magic before he became a professor. “Woah… you can do that?” he asked. “Like, you can really go out and fight other wizards with spells and stuff?!” Logan asked excitedly. Suddenly, this was what he wanted to do.

Xavier saw Logan's eyes widen and he nodded. "Yes. I was actually in the championship duel my second year as a duelist. There are rules and such that you have to follow though. But its exhilarating to use your skills in that way." Xavier told him, seeing the excitement in his son.

“Wow!” Logan exclaimed, suddenly thinking his dad was cooler than he had already thought before. “D- do you think I could do that one day, dad?” he asked his father. He did not yet know of the dueling club which he would be able to join next year as a third year.

Xavier nodded. "Of course you can buddy." Xavier told his son. "You'll be an excellent duelist" He added, giving a warm and proud smile to his son.

“Aww ya really think so dad?” Logan said with a little smile, blushing slightly. “Maybe I can do dueling while Rosie does Quidditch!” he said, looking back at Rose with a grin.

Xavier nodded. "Of course I do. In fact, I think you'll be the next champion when you're older. Just like Rosie will be a great Quidditch player." He told them, looking between the two of them. Rose smiled at her dad happily.

Logan was inspired by his father’s confidence in him. He grinned from ear to ear as he once again wrapped an arm around Rose and pulled his sister close to him. “We’re gonna be the two greatest wizards and witches to ever come out of Hogwarts!” he proclaimed boldly.

Rose smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah we are!" She said with a happy laugh.

“Alright dad, I think we should get back to our friends,” said Logan, removing his arm from Rose. “We love ya!” he said. Once they left, perhaps he’d suggest to Rose to write to their papa.

Xavier waved to the twins. "Love you too" He said as he watched them leave. He had a proud smile on his face as he turned and walked back to his desk, resuming his work. Rose nodded and smiled. "Yeah, we should. Love you dad!" She said, following Logan out of their dads office.

Logan led his sister out of their dad’s office and made his way back to the Great Hall with her. “Well, seems like dad was proud,” he said with a grin. “You should write papa now!” he proposed to her.

Rose nodded. "Yeah, seems like it." She agreed, then looked at Logan. "I plan to. I just need to let Allison know I'm headed to our room." She told Logan.

“Alright!” he said with a grin and a nod. “Did you wanna do it at the library? Or maybe your room like you said, but am I err, even allowed there, as a boy?” Logan asked. “Unless you don’t want me there! That’s ok too! I’m just proud of you, sis, and wanted to be near ya,” he said with a soft smile and a little sheepish shrug.

Rose hadn't thought about that. She looked at Logan and smiled. "We can do it in the library together!" She told him with a smile. "Thank you" She added.

“Alright! Did you want to bring along Allison?” Logan asked her. He knew she was getting very close to her roommate and fellow Ravenclaw, just as he himself was getting very close with Kaleb.

Rose nodded. "I'd like to bring Allison, and you can ask Kaleb if he wants to join us too" Rose told him. She knew the two were getting very close much like her and Allison.

“Alright! Maybe Kaleb and I can practice reciting incantations or study some potions ingredients!” Logan suggested as they entered the Great Hall and made their way back to the Slytherin table. There, Allison was chatting with Kaleb.

Rose nodded. "That sounds like a good plan" She said, as they made their way over to the Slytherin table. "Hey Allison! I was going to go to the library and write to my papa, would you like to join?" She asked as they approached the table.

Logan and Rose soon approached the table, and his sister proposed the idea that they go to the library. Logan nodded and chimed in himself, “Yea! And Kaleb, you’re welcome too! Maybe we can practice charms incantations! Or perhaps study the ingredients for the potions we need to know for this semester!” he proposed.

Kaleb nodded. "That sounds like a great idea. I'm in" He would never turn down the chance to hang out with Logan.

“Brilliant! Let’s go, shall we?” Logan suggested with a bright smile. Allison nodded and got up from her seat. She was curious to see what Rose would write to her father. She was also excited to see the girl actually write it, since she enjoyed how graceful Rose was with a quill and how pretty her hand writing looked. It was almost as pretty as the girl herself- almost.

Rose nodded. "Yes lets go" She said with a smile. Kaleb nodded and stood up from the table, ready to follow the other three to the library.

The group of four students made their way to the library. Logan guided them over to the study area of the library where they could talk at a normal volume, rather than one of the quiet study zones. He found them a table and plopped down, patting the chair next to him. There was also a chair for Allison and Rose, and Allison sat down in one of them. “Did you bring parchment and a quill? I have a quill if you need,” she offered to Rose.

Kaleb sat down next to Logan with a happy smile. Rose sat down beside Allison and pulled out some parchment but realized she'd forgotten her quill. Then she heard Allison and smiled at her. "I'd really appreciate it if I could borrow your quill." She said to her.
