Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

It had been a few days since Rose had sent the letter to her papa about making the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Today a letter had come for Rose from Aaron. She had told Logan who had joined her in the library where she would open it with her brother beside her.

Logan and Rose were together today. Rose had received a letter back from their papa and Logan wanted to accompany his twin sister to read it. They found an empty seat at a table somewhere off in the corner of one of the parts of the library and sat down. “Go on sis! Open it!” urged Logan with a grin.

Rose swallowed a little unsure as to what the letter would read. She looked over at Logan with a smile on her face. "Okay, okay" She said with a laugh, opening the letter to see just what their papa had wrote to her.

When Rose opened up the envelope, the letter from her papa read:

Dearest Rosie,

I could not be more proud of my little girl! I was thrilled to receive your letter here in Puddlemere! I’m so happy and I just knew you could do it! Ravenclaw’s never going to lose a game with you as their chaser- the other three houses should be very scared once the season starts up.

Make sure to go to practice every day but don’t focus too much on Quidditch over academics like I did. Grades come first, sweetheart. But that being said, I just know you’re going to be an amazing chaser- probably even better than I ever was! I’m very happy to hear that things have been going well at school too!

Make sure to keep your brother out of trouble as well. I love the both of you and miss you so much. I wish I could send you kisses so I guess I’ll have to do it through X’s and o’s in this letter. I love you so very much that I can’t even describe it in words. I’m so proud of you and I can’t wait for what’s to come. You’re got a bright future in Quidditch ahead of you my little girl. Looks like you’re not so little anymore. You know I remember changing your diapers and now you’re out flying on a broom!

Warmest wishes and kisses to you my Rosie!

Love,
Your papa

P.S.: You can tell your brother I love him too!

Rose read and reread the letter with a smile on her face. She knew he would be proud of her but the letter was so touching. "I was told to keep you out of trouble" Rose told Logan with a grin. "So behave" She added with a laugh.

Logan laughed. "What? Me? Trouble? Never! And I do behave! Papa's just being so annoying," he chuckled, clearly being playful as he rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Not going to show me the part where he told you to tell me that he loves me as well?" Logan asked with a smug grin, having read that part of the letter from where he was standing.

Rose rolled her eyes at her brother. "You are always trouble, and no you don't." She teased him, clearly playfully. She smirked over at him with a laugh. "Now why would I do that? Its more fun to pick on you" She added.

“I’ve only gotten detention like once this year!” Logan said, “And was for a stupid reason! All I did was hex the potion master’s quills to sing opera!” he told her, “All in good fun!” Logan said innocently. “You’re a goof, you know that?” he asked his sister with a playful little smirk. “Now c’mon, it’s lunch time and I’m hungry,” he said, wanting to go to the Great Hall.

Rose always enjoyed teasing and playing around with her brother, it was of course all in good fun. The rest of October went by rather quickly and eventually November 3rd came around. It was her first Quidditch game and it was Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff. Rose had a hard time getting to sleep the night before, and she was up early the next day. She'd been practicing and meeting her teammates the last few weeks and she was ready to play. It was going to be a good game and she couldn't wait to win. That was her plan, she was going to win her first game. Rose got up that morning, buzzing with excitement and looked over to see if Allison was still awake.

The month of October passed and before they knew it, November was here. The date specifically was November 3rd, 2016. Today, the Quidditch season at Hogwarts finally started. While since mid-October, Aaron’s season with Puddlemere United was under way for a bit now, Rose’s season and “career” in Quidditch was just beginning. Today was the opening day for Quidditch season, and while usually the heated rivalry of Gryffindor vs Slytherin was slated to be the season opener, this year, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff was to be the match up. The reason being was that both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff looked to be the strongest teams based on their rosters. Slytherin and Gryffindor’s teams were simply average. Gryffindor was certainly not as great as it was in Aaron Hoskins and Harry Potter’s days.

So, all of the students and even teachers in the castle were very excited to spectate the upcoming match. Although a Slytherin, Logan was extremely excited and looking forward to this match up. One would think he wouldn’t have a stake in this match but his sister being Ravenclaw’s newest chaser deemed him Ravenclaw’s biggest fan for the day. The only one who probably could compare to his fandom would be his dad Xavier, although he wondered if the former Hufflepuff would be toning down his cheering for Ravenclaw. But since Slytherin wasn’t playing, Logan was free to cheer on his twin sister as loud as he wanted, and that is exactly what he’d do.

Logan knew that Rose had been attending and enjoying practice with the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Now it was finally time to put that work and those skills to the test in what was slated to be the most intense match up on opening day in years for Hogwarts. The buzz around the castle and amongst students in all four houses was palpable. In the morning, Allison had been sleeping when Rose got up. In his Slytherin dorm room, Logan was up bright and early putting on blue face paint and borrowing his sister’s Ravenclaw scarf she had lent him for the day. Gabriel his roommate was sleeping in. He’d join the festivities later on, but Logan was so excited it had him up very early.

Rose had gotten dressed her robes, and she was so excited, and a little nervous about the game today. She wanted so badly to do well. She walked over to wake Allison up happily. "Allison! Wake up! Todays the day!" She shook her roommate's shoulder trying to wake her up. She wanted to see and talk to her best friend before the big game.

Allison awoke to being shaken on the shoulder. She groaned and turned around but suddenly wasn’t so tired anymore as she saw Rose’s excited and smiling face. Of course she knew why that face was so excited- it was Rose’s very first Quidditch match. Allison let out a yawn before giving her roommate a soft smile and a nod. “Right, right,” she said, still in the process of waking up. “Let me get ready for the big game,” she said, stepping out of bed. Allison began changing out of her pajamas and into her uniform and robes. She then headed into their bathroom with the blue face paint and gave herself some lines under her eyes. When she came out, she grabbed her Ravenclaw scarf and looked the part of a true Ravenclaw fan.

Rose smiled and stepped back as she watched Allison wake up. "Okay!" Rose told her with a smile as she waited patiently for Allison to change. She was bouncing gently on her heels in anticipation and excitement as she waited. Rose wasn't even sure she'd be able to eat anything this morning. "You look great!" She told Allison. "I don't know if I'll be able to eat anything with my excitement, but I'll walk with you down to the Great Hall before I head to the locker room." Rose said.

Allison giggled as Rose complimented her on her looks. “Well I wanted to look the part while I cheer you on,” she said with a grin. As Rose said she was so excited that she didn’t know if she could eat, Allison stepped towards the door. “You really should eat, Rose. Playing on an empty stomach isn’t a good idea. You need some energy,” she said gently, kind like a loving mother. “Besides, I’m sure your brother wants to see you as he stuffs his face with food before the big game,” she chuckled.

Rose nodded with a smile. "Of course! I need my biggest cheerleader after all" She said. Rose followed Allison to the door and blushed at the words. "I'll try but I won't promise I'll eat a lot okay?" She offered as they walked. She laughed at her next words. "Yeah, that's true." She knew her brother would want to see her before the game. He was also one of her biggest fans, and she knew it.

“Ok don’t over eat, I don’t want you puking in front of your teammates and hundreds of spectating students on the field,” she laughed. Allison left the room with Rose to go to the Great Hall. If there was one person that was a bigger fan of Rose than Allison, it was most certainly her twin brother Logan, who was sitting amongst the Ravenclaws today. He blended in with them aside from the fact he wore Slytherin robes.

Rose smiled. "I doubt I'll eat that much" She laughed, following Allison out of their room, through the common room and down to the Great Hall. As they entered the Great Hall, she looked around and her brown eyes found her brother. "Come on!" She told Allison before moving over to the Ravenclaw table, sitting down beside her brother. "I didn't think I'd see a Slytherin over here." She joked.

Allison and Rose made their way over to the Ravenclaw table and there, sitting amongst their housemates, was Logan, all decked out in Ravenclaw gear. The Slytherin boy chuckled at his sister’s little teasing. “Oi shuddup, you know why I’m here,” laughed Logan. “Wouldn’t miss this game for the world. I’ll be cheering you on sis! I’m a Ravenclaw today!” he told her with a big grin. “I must say you certainly out did even some of our housemates in terms of the face paint,” said Allison. Logan was all decked out in blue colors all over his face. “Yea! Of course! I gotta look the part!” Logan said. “Oh Rose, don’t tell dad. He’d probably think this is excessive and hard to wash off,” he chuckled.

Rose giggled at her brother when she saw just how much face paint he used. "I've got two cheerleaders in my corner today." She laughed, though her eyes did wander for a minute up to the professors table to see their dad, wearing a blue scarf and he subtly gave her a nod in good luck. She looked back at Logan when she heard him talking to her. "I won't write to dad about your excessive face paint, but I will write papa. He'd find it funny." She laughed, taking a piece of toast to munch on so she didn't have an empty stomach.

“Oh papa’s gonna love it!” Logan replied with a laugh. Allison smiled, she was happy to be Rose’s cheerleader and so proud of her best friend for making the team. Logan quickly pulled over a plate and began to butter up some toast. Allison herself sat down and grabbed some toast, although unlike Logan, she ate it slowly.

Rose nodded. He certainly would that's for sure. Rose slowly ate her toast, she could see some of her teammates still at the table which made her feel better. She was concerned about being late, but sitting with her brother and best friend was helping with her nerves. She had a few more minutes before she'd have to go.

Once Logan had inhaled his first piece of toast, he turned to his sister and smiled, scooting over to be closer to her and wrapping a tight arm around her. “I just know you’re going to do fantastic, sis. You’re gonna make me, papa, dad, and your whole house proud!” Logan told her.

Rose smiled as she looked over at Logan when he wrapped an arm around her. "Thanks! I really appreciate that" She told her brother with a smile on her face.

“Ok now get outta here and go to your team,” said Logan with a playful smile, gently pushing his sister off of him. “Allison and I will be in the stands shouting and chanting your name!” he told her. Allison grinned and nodded in agreement.

Rose nodded with a laugh. “Okay! I’m going. Wish me luck!” She said, getting up from the table and left. She made her way to the locker rooms out near the pitch, changing into her blue and silver Quidditch uniform. Her nerves were on fire but she was also determined. She grabbed her new broom and waited with her team to be called out.
