Candy stepped forward. "Is this a bad time?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Leo crossed her arms. "Is it 'talk to Leo day' or something? Can't you guys see I'm absolutely fuming over the blunt favoritism and corruption that's come over us? Aquarius threatened to kill me a minute ago for trying to protect Gemini from doing something he'd regret."

Scorpio sighed mockingly "Do I really have to answer that?" He gestured at his bandaged leg. But then he shrugged it off with a dismissive wave of his hand. "But if you really are trying to help Gem, I can work with that." He then peered to the direction of hell and asked "So what's going on down there? Has Satan possessed anyone else?"

Leo then turned to Scorpio next. "As far as I know, it's only been Gem. He still looks like a demon, but everyone seems to trust him again, and he stopped trying to kill us all..."

 

[Carbon]

He took a step back and blew a bubble. "Sorry. Do you like, need some alone time or somethin'?" He asked. "Maybe some gum?" He took the pack out of his pocket.

 

[Shadow Alpha]

"Aries." Pisces said rather coldly, noticing her sudden appearance. For as long as she could remember, Pisces did not like Aries—she was cruel, and uncaring and sometimes interacting with her took too much energy for the sensitive soul. The only thing keeping her from disregarding Aries all together was the small amount of respect she had for her fellow Gatekeeper.

A large grin spread across Aries' face as she heard Pisces say her name. Annoying the hell out of Pisces was one of her favorite pastimes besides being in battle. She waved her hand excitedly as she leapt towards Pisces to trap her in a hug, "Ah my lovely sis Pisces! Have you missed me since I've been gone?"

Pisces winced, feeling Aries ensnare her in an iron grip... er, a hug. She stood there, passive as usual, annoyance radiating off of her. "You're not my sister," she said through clenched teeth.


Luckily, she would not have to endure this for long. Scorpio, as always, came to her aide. Pisces shuffled away, looking displeased.

He took a step back and blew a bubble. "Sorry. Do you like, need some alone time or somethin'?" He asked. "Maybe some gum?" He took the pack out of his pocket.

Leo sighed, giving up. "Yeah, gum is nice..." She took a piece, chewing thoughtfully. "We're still enemies, right? Ares, Tara and I against you lot and all that?"

"Gah!" Scorpio shuddered when he felt a wave of uneasiness hit him. Seemed like Pisces was in some sort of danger right now. He hurriedly appeared back into the palace to find Aries there as well "You imbecile get your hands off Pisces! Why are you here anyway? First, Git and Leo are working to help Gem and now you're here too? Just what exactly is it that you three are aiming for?" Scorpio snatched up Aries by her collar and threw her off to the side.

Aries simply did a flip to land perfectly on her feet. She ran her hand through her crimson locks as she stared at Scorpio with a look of boredom, "You really a worrywart and a complete pain in the ass. Am I not allowed to hug my lovely sister now? Last time I checked I didn't call you father so it's really none of your business." Ra appeared in a flash by her side with muzzle open to expose his fangs. "Isn't this what you wanted? For the whole family to get back together!" An insane laugh escaped Aries as she began to glow from the fire that now encased her body. She juggled her twin daggers with ease, "As for my aim, I just want to wreak havoc and have fun."

Candy sighed. "I don't know, I tend to stay out of conflict, unless absolutely necessary." He blew a bubble, and it popped all over his glasses. He sighed again, took them off. and started picking pieces of gum off of them.

A burst of energy erupted from his hand and seconds later, Scorpio was clutching his ever trusty scythe, crouched in a position ready to strike. A feral smirk appeared on his face, his eyes burning with the intention to kill "A pain in your ass? I will take that as a compliment any day." His face darkened at the mention of family "Say what? Has this council ever been a family to anyone? Where there is a crowd, there will be conflicts. And don't mistake my intention. I don't want to get you three back. I want to dispose of you traitors."

"Sounds like a good policy, to be honest..." Leo nodded, popping the gum. "I've been so angry lately... It's exhausting. Can we be enemies tomorrow? I'm too angry to be angry..." Expecting an odd look, Leo elaborated. "I'm out of angry for the day. Just so tired of anger..."

Scorpio's temper had flared up. A frown tugged at Pisces' lips. She understood why he was so angry, but at the same time, Aries was Aries—whether there was a split between the fire sign "traitors" and the others, she was sure things would've been no different. In a way, Pisces thought his words were wasted on the firey girl.


Nevertheless, she did nothing to stop the two.

"I mean, I'd rather be friends." He replied. "I'm honestly willing to be friends with almost anyone..." He put his glasses back on and sniffled.

A burst of energy erupted from his hand and seconds later, Scorpio was clutching his ever trusty scythe, crouched in a position ready to strike. A feral smirk appeared on his face, his eyes burning with the intention to kill "A pain in your ass? I will take that as a compliment any day." His face darkened at the mention of family "Say what? "Well would ya look at this, the child is playing with a pretty dangerous toy. Let's see what you're capable of." With her entire body becoming a blazing inferno, Aries launched herself at Scorpio with a wicked grin on her face. She feigned to the left before pivoting to send a fiery kick towards the top of Scorpio's head.

"Friends would be nice, but there's certain principals I stand for, and anyone who breaks those principals... But I digress. I think I really need a nap," Leo sighed.

In the chaotic display, Scorpio's war pet Abe transformed back to human and landed a solid punch on Aries' stomach. Abe jumped back to join with Scorio who had reappeared at the same the crows vanished away.

"Well, feel free to leave. I'm not holding you here... Either way, I need to apologize to Tara." Candy said, and turned his head down.

The mass of feathers had begun to irritate Aries as she increased her flames to decimate the annoying crows. She spun to avoid Abe's punch but only managed to avoid the brunt of it while Abe's hand was seriously burnt from coming in to contact with her. "Not to bad for a bird brain but you've seem to have forgotten that I AM the gatekeeper of power." While there attention was focused on Aries, Ra had snuck around behind them with his coat ablaze in black fire as he latched on to Scorpio's side.

Leo yawned, stretching her arms a bit. "Catch you on the flip side, Candy..." She waved a farewell and made her way to her room, before remembering that might not be a good idea. Moving down to earth, she made her way to her closest temple, and curled up asleep inside.

 

[Carbon]

Candy smiled, happy that he could make someone feel better. He cracked his neck, and walked out, towards the ocean; his home.

Aquarius rose his brow at his two sisters, surprised they would try and pull things there way. He would quietly unsheath his two blades from behind them, and draped his hands over their shoulders, the blades hanging loosely in his hands. "No, this happens my way, or you two have more than just one rogue zodiac to deal with." He spoke softly, a fake smile on his face, and the blades tightening in his grip until the cold metal was pressed against their necks. "You two know I prefer to have things go my way. And who knows Gemini better than me?" It was a rhetorical question, since it was obvious he had been the closest to the rogue zodiac.

Gemi watched the three argue and it made tears roll down his face just a bit harder. 'I want the fighting to stop...' He thought before he looked at Aqua when they were alone. "I-I'm sorry..." Gemini croaked out brokenly to his brother, biting his quivering lower lip. He still didn't get up from the ground but managed to calm a little after he was released.

That said, Scorio grabbed Ra by its muzzle to hold the animal in place while spears of water materialized and stabbed directly at Ra until there was no open space left on its body. He then threw Ra back at its owner's feet. "Abe, retreat. You will stay on the sideline." Abe returned to his crow form and flew off to somewhere with a good view on the fight to mentally supple Scorpio's with information regarding Aries's movements. That done, Scorpio raised his diamond-sharp scythe and charged at Aries, aiming for her neck.

Aries seemed to deflate at the sight of her beloved pet roughly panting at her feet. She snapped and radiated a blinding light that almost equaled a super nova. She slammed her knife into the oncoming spear with enough force to send it spiraling in the direction of Abe. It cleaved that birds wing clean off. Aries stooped down to pick up Ra, knowing that he could recover from this in the deeper pits of Hell. A demonic snarl erupted from Aries which summoned a whirling vortex beneath her feet. The glare she sent towards Scorpio seemed to send knives directly to his soul. "Try this shit again and I will have your skin mounted in one of my shrines as a trophy." She descended quickly with the portal closing behind her.

"Running away from a fight? I suppose you can't stoop any lower anyway." He roared after Aries even when she had already disappeared into the vortex. He knew she would sure return to pay back for what he had done to Ra, but he just couldn't care. He would make use of this break to the best he could. Scorpio shrugged off the glare full of hatred, being one insensitive to all kinds of emotion, spat out some blood from the damage Ra had done from his body. He turned to Abe and said "You will need to reincarnate, Abe. I apologize." The raven let out a squawk and suddenly burned in a blaze of black fire. The fire died away to reveal a crow good as new, as if its wing hadn't just been cut off.
