Fantasy The Summits

Tony looked at Luna, having absolutely no idea why he had taken a protective stance between her and threatening guy, but not really caring, "You ok?" He asked her quietly, his own feathers ruffled nervously

Vi chuckled. "Seed thief is demeaning.. I like it." She eyed her frames and they set themselves up without her having to leave the shelter. "Geez.. why do work for people who seem immobile?" She said this in a joking voice. "Call me Vi."

Luna heard someone speak to her. She backed away slowly. "Y-Y-You don't want to come near me." She choked out, her face growing into a snarl. She felt threatened and wanted to get out of here, badly. She uncurled her wings and looked at him for a few seconds, hearing the others comment before zipped upwards to the tree above.

Tony blinked, but warily followed her, climbing up a tree near to hers, "Hey...I'm only trying to help" He said softly, his wings tucked to his back in a non-threatening way

Nyx's headphones had fallen off of her while she was laying down in the shade. Soon after they had fallen off she heard voices and noises penetrate her ears. Panicking she felt for her headphones slapping them back on her head. Usually when she takes her headphones off she can hear many noises from the creatures in the forest but nothing this loud. Is there more people here?

Getting up from the shade she let out a loud sigh stepping out from her spot feeling cool rain drop on her head. I guess this won't be bad for me after all. The rain on her skin cooled her off a bit. It made walking easier. Soon after she had started running now hearing someone speaking. She stopped a minute then started to walk slowly trying not to startle any of the other residents on this island. She didn't know what they would do. She thought there were a lot of people but seeing the strings of energy coming from everywhere confused her as to what was human or not. I should have practiced which energy belongs to plants and animals.

At this point she decided to take note of this. She saw a thin string of energy flowing until high up seeing that would be where a tree's at. Continuing her observations she'd dodge as much as she could of the light not knowing how thick or thin the tree would be. She had avoided the balls of random energy she assumed were other beings. She never seen, well saw the energy of others on this island but it would make sense seeing how this is where all the rejected experiments came to.

"What is going on here?" She said out loud mostly to herself looking around. Soon she saw more orbs of light finally. In front of there was pretty much nothing. She didn't know who was there but she was glad to not be alone. She thought about running but didn't know how they would react to it. Instead she'd walk towards the energy slowly.

Luna used her wings to block him out of vision as she looked forward. "I can't be helped!" She snarled. She realized that she was starting to form an little sound ring around her, the energy inside her body getting close to capacity. She sighed and clicked her tongue, sending a powerful blast overhead of the rest of them. The click made a loud band as she released it, her energy level dropping a bit. She noticed that the lines of energy had returned to her wings so she folded them tighter, sealing out others.

Tony looked at her sadly, "P-Please?" He mumbled, "L-Let me try" He continued softly, watching the energy with curiosity, his wings twitching nervously

Darman darted out of the shelter quickly at blast and scanned about. Seeing that it was the birds again, he felt just a little annoyed. "Will you kindly cut that shit out?" He yelled angrily in their direction. Another scan and he saw a girl who looked seemingly lost. After a moment of deciding she wasn't a threat he pointed her into the shelter. "You, get in there now." After the command, he started toward the bird people. Teeth were barred and his grip was tight on his pole.

Luna glared at him. "Would you like me to explode and destroy all of us in a violent release of sound loud enough to make lots of people deaf?" She asked, her teeth baring. She tried to calm down a bit. "Look, I know I seem abrasive but it was those stupid scientist that made me this way. It's not my fault that I am hot tempered and that I am a ticking time bomb of energy." She said.

Tony noticed, and looked at his fellow avian, "Stay here" He muttered, leaping down with a graceful landing, "Leave her alone" He growled, wings flaring outward in a threatening manner

As Nyx was walking to towards the energies she had fallen on the ground and squealed out loudly from the noise. Even though she did have her headphones on she could still hear it clearly since it was close enough. After the noise she got back up hearing someone speak out she heard it sounded like a male. At that she got up and ran over to him keeping her hands over her headphones keeping them close to her ears. Once seeing the energy in front of her she had stopped in front of it a bit shaken up. "Sh-shelter?" She asked a bit confused on the situation.

White clearly saw their food snatched away from them, as his enhanced brain instinctively heightened its reactions for White to see clearly what happened, but his weak body prevented him from reacting. If he hadn't taken his white pill right before, then he might have been able to stop the intruder by hijacking her brain waves, but he was not able.

"I'm sorry I'm useless and immobile. It's the way I am and that's the price I pay for this goddamn curse of a power I have. The only thing my power is good at is taking people down with as much pain as possible, it won't help in our survival at all. " said White with a bitter tone to his voice.

White witnessed the altercations occurring between Darman and the others.

With a sigh, White said,

"Unless everyone wants to be knocked out cold for possibly days, I suggest we actually get along please."

White simply wanted some calm and order so that something could actually get done. He was just as tired of this situation as Darman was, and he felt a growing fear of altercations as the black pill was the only thing stopping him from irrationally using his powers, and sudden altercations would instinctively scare or shock White into lashing out mentally.

"We're all made up of some scientific crap we can't handle. That's why we're here. We're a bunch of rejects. We're broken. We all collectively amount to a single molecule at the bottom of the pole in this stupid world. I don't care what they made you. If you can't learn to control it you are a failure of an experiment and you belong here." Darman snapped picking up his pace and ignoring the second bird man. "I for one am entirely insane. I see things you wouldn't believe. More than 4 times more color and defenition that you can believe. Do you have any idea what that does to a human brain? Do you have any idea the pain of having no memory except for when it stabs you in the back? Do you have any idea how hard it is to control yourself and keep from killing everyone on sight?" Darman stopped just a few feet from the male bird and threw his pole into the ground, sticking it like a spear. His tone softens and the anger drains away. "We all have problems. Do you want help? I'll help you. You have to stop being so hostile. Hostility only leads to death." A long silence. "I don't want to die. I would hate to have to kill again. Come to our little shelter here. We can talk. We can work to control your power. We'll survive."

Vi exited slowly, seeing the fight sure to happen between Darman and the bird people. "Easy.. Hey, the two with wings.. could you go me a favor?" She asked kindly, noticing White was also getting fed up, "Would you gather some fruit from the higher branches.. See, theres nothing I can do to get the seeds back and we all need to eat and grow food. I don't have wings so it would be hard for me to reach.. but you two are helpful."

She turned to White. "Don't worry about anything. As long as you don't create conflict you are values. What may I call you?"

Tony glared at him, "Being hostile." He huffed, "Says the guy with the spear." He muttered, looking up at the other avian wearily, "I suggest you leave her be until she wants to come down though" He continued, then looked at Vi and nodded, stretching his wings and leaping into the air with a practiced grace. He returned with arm fulls of fruit, "Where would you like me to put it?" He asked, tilting his head in a bird like manner

Luna slightly uncurled. She wasn't sure if she could control her anger, but it was worth a try. She slowly climbed down the tree, grabbing some fruit while she was up there. She walked forward slowly, looking at everyone. Inside, she was super afraid. She didn't want to hurt anyone. She looked the white haired guy in the eyes. "When my power amounts to to much, I have to release it in some form. The reason I did that is because when I reach capacity, then my body starts to go haywire and I didn't want to blow us all up." She said, her face as calm as possible. "I am sorry if I hurt your ears." She choked out, trying to be as nice as possible.

Vi smiled at the cooperation, glad to relieve some tension. She saw flaws in booths arguments however pointing it out would only be a catalyst for conflict, which at this point they may not be able to survive. "Thank you.. and in a canvas shelter to protect it would be nice. May I take names, Avians?" She gave a thankful nod at the girl as she came down as well.

Darman took a step toward the female avian entirely ignoring the male. "We'll find a better way to give you control. A more regulated way." He stared at her for a moment before turning away and retrieving his pole. "Vi is a good person as far as I can tell." He commented returning to the shelter.

Luna looked at the man as he walked away. She then turned her attention to the girl known as Vi. She walked over. "The name's Luna." She said, placing the fruit where it should be. She had a faint teal glow in her eyes, the energy cooling down after her anger had dissipated a bit. She could control it a bit, but not very well.

White sat down weary and tired under the shade of the shelter. He had exerted himself quite a bit today, and he was already tired. Darman and Vi would handle negotiations anyway. White wasn't useful for anything and White never believed he ever was useful. He didn't quite see the point to all this shelter making either, if they were all going to die anyway eventually with no hope for escape. It was absolutely fruitless and futile. They were all, in reality, living life doomed on a prison. This might not have been as bad as a real hell of fire and brimstone, but the concept of an eternal containment was just as applicable.

White simply put his head between his hands and rested his tired mind and body.

"Tony" He replied shortly to Vi, now entirely ignoring Darman, and placed the fruit where Luna had placed hers, tucking his wings to his back neatly. His red and gold eyes watched the others quietly, clearly unsure of them

Darman entered the shelter and saw the boy with hair white like his. Not too good looking in terms of health. He didn't look too mentally there either. Rather sad actually. Darman had exerted himself too much emotionally with the birds and had to reserve himself. There was already a pounding in the back of his head. He sat down opposite of the ill healthed one and crossed his legs. He was partly meditating and partly wondering about the other white haired boy with his eyes locked on him.

Sighing a bit Nyx stayed outside but near the group's energy. It was best for her to stay out where it's colder than where there's heat. She stayed silent feeling the water drops on her skin. It felt weird for her but did cool her off greatly. From time to time she looked in the direction of the group of energies she assumed were other experiments like her. Looking away she'd freeze the droplets that dripped off her hand. It was easy for her to feel the drops touch and fall from her skin. From time to time she made a small yelp felling a piece of ice she had made drop on her leg. "Scared myself again." She said before letting out a small giggle.

White heard Darman enter the shelter and sit near him. White sensed that the man was mentally drained. For someone to become drained like that in such a short span of time, either some screws were loose or the man had suffered too much in his lifetime. White didn't feel any sympathy or pity, but he felt understanding. In this island, Darman had no uniqueness. Everyone had suffered, some perhaps more than others, but nonetheless the inhabitants of this island were broken pieces that couldn't live up to their uses.

White currently had eight black pills with him, and thirty in total in a hiding spot, which would last him 76 more days to live. White always lived with the fear that the plane might not come to extend his life, and at the same time he always felt regret when he swallowed the black. White wanted to die, he always wanted to every moment of his life and every sharp pain or exhaustion he felt sharply reminded him of his broken existence that he wanted to end so badly. But even so he always took the pills. It was a pitiful existence, White, deep inside, wanted to die, but even further inside, embedded in his very psyche as a human being, was the will to survive which had been enhanced artificially by drugs and experiments.

"You should rest up, you seem tired. But your the only one here capable of actually exerting influence on this group of people. I can already tell that people are tethering to you, already involuntarily placing their needs on you. I have a request to make, if I can. My life will end in a designated amount of days, more than enough days, but I would like to ask you to maintain peace amongst this group. I don't like the tensions of altercations, and the longer I live the more unstable I become. This leads me to my second request: If ever I act uncontrollably, please do not hesitate to kill me." Said White with a quiet and weak voice.

Vi nodded, thanking the avians for their work, before entering the shelter. She felt mentally drainedd and a bit stressed without willing to let her casual half smile ever drop. She heard the last thing white said as she entered and lowered her eyes. She felt he was becoming a leader, darman. And as far as ehite goes, darman would do well to respect his wishes. She said nothing though, acting as though she hadent heard, and sighed, planning larger construction for the night when moving about was easier.
