Fantasy The Summits

Vi looked at him curiously. By the way he first accepted, he obviously wanted it.. at least at first. He was in no condition to not accept though. The male looked like you could play xylophone on his ribs. Vi was thin too, but a strong kind.

"Hm.. there are about thirteen people I know for sure are on this island. If I continue to find food for everyone, too scared to do so or too preoccupied, I will be finding food for approximately thirteen people. If you wish, I will cut it down to twelve under the condition that you accept what has been given to you today as a gift for making it to the island of faulty manufacturings.. hm?" She spoke, carefully and saying the last thing in a slightly joking tone. She herself never felt faulty.

Justin soon cooled down then he left the plane crash he was gonna go to the place that is most silent, at the top of the mountain. He created a ice path in the sky that lead him to the top of the mountain. Once he arrived there he layer down on his back and he smiled.

404.1

That made her laugh out loud. For the second time in a day 404.1 manages a loud chortle of a laugh, her whole body reacting to the humor inherent in the girl Vi's statement. The girl was an idiot to think that she could do such a thing. The island wasn't fucking vending machine and they weren't going to feed them.

The last group had this same attitude and their bones now sat in her cave, waiting to be eaten. If food was easy to come by, she wouldn't be scrounging human remains.

Tatt rebelled internally at the thought process of the new group, they seemed to be just standing around or doing god knows what. All was well until one of them must have done something with his power, the air chilling slightly before his presence was gone.

404.1 could only sniff the air, memorizing scents and planning the best time to come back and steal what little supplies they had. They'd be dead in a few days anyways.

Jenna, had landed in the water after the crash. Knowing she would not have the energy left in her to swim what looked like 10 miles to the island. She knew it was an over exaggeration and did not care. She knew how well animals understood her and she called to the first animal she could think of. A Great White Shark this one turned out to be female. The one that showed up was a little confused about the fact that she could understand her.

Jenna just looked at her and told her what she remembered and the shark understood. Then came the final question, "Ummm, would you be willing to swim me over to that island over there? I know its a lot to ask and probably really hard because your not used to having to carry so much weight on your back. But you would be doing me a huge, scratch that a ginormous thing and i would eventually pay you back!" The shark just looked at her and told her that there was no need to worry and that she would have no problem swimming her up to island, after all this was the first human she had ever met that was not afraid of her with in the first five seconds of there meeting.

So off they went Jenna riding on the back of a Great White Shark and going towards the island, hoping she would either be the only one there or not be bothered by anyone who was already there.

This site was becoming quite the social center. More people kept showing up and the odds of a complete nut showing up and killing all of them grew. Darman didn't like those chances. If one person goes off, they all go off and people die. People dieing is not helpful to any situation. Another can around revealed more bodies producing heat trying to hide around. Then the appearence of some rather loud mouthed beings around the site and Darman decided the situation was volatile enough.

"Why is everyone on this island either perpetually pissed off or a complete coward?" Darman projected to the entire area. He looked around and focused on the heat of what looked like a girl talking to an animal. He stared for a second just wondering but broke away again. His pole was kept held perpendicular to his standing posture in case there was an attack that needed to be swatted off. "If you wanna know what happened, you can come look at this or go to the crash. If you're pissed off, go find a waterfall and deal with it. Otherwise, everyone needs to stop hiding or being unnecessarily aggressive."

"Sure, those terms sound fine. We're all broken goods anyway, it won't matter if one less piece of trash gets taken out." said White without emotion. His physical state had nothing to do with hunger or physical needs. His enhanced neural system just drew out massive amounts of energy and prevented his body from physically nourishing itself. White was given enhancements that allowed him to live with the barest of necessities anyway. Nothing really mattered to White anymore.

White suddenly coughed violently, splattering blood on the hand he used to cover his mouth with. This meant that it would soon be time for White to take his white black pill again, lest he risk mind shearing migraines to assault him.

"Sorry about that, that just happens sometimes, don't mind me." said White . Reaching into his pocket, White swiftly took out a cloudy white pill and tossed it into his mouth and swallowed it. White would be fine for another two days now. If ever something were to happen to the large sstockpile of pills that White had, then his life would timeout in three days.

XY was blacked out, she had fallen out of her cage and onto a tree, thankfully it caught her without doing much harm, a few scrapes. She was lucky the tree caught her and not the ground, she would've been scattered all over the island then.

~A little earlier~

'Test Subject X-Y5C3 had passed out,'
called an armed officer to another, they nodded and static voices came through while they spoke to their commanding officer. 'Wake her up!' The rude voice was audible to X-Y5C3's ears. People back at the lab called this young girl XY due to her split personalities. The officers poked her rather rudely with their guns, 'Get up,' the first said officer demanded. The other sneered and jabbed the gun into her stomach, 'He said get up!'' XY moved and sat up, now in her 'Y' state, the state feared the most.

XY's eyes dimmed, causing her right, white eye to look grey while her other black eye was seemingly darker. The two males stepepd back slightly while 'Y' smirked. '
I don't want to get up, why don't you go tell your commander to leave me alone?' The said two growled and aimed their rifles at X-Y5C3 while speaking through to other officers. 'Unit X-Y5C3 is awake and threatening, backup?'

While in the room with Babble, the officer was speaking as well, 'Copy, on my way.' 'Y' snickered, gripping the bars with her hands while she rocked back and forth on her heels, shaking the bars. 'She's going to break down the door! Fire!' Once she heard that, she begun moving in the cage as fast as she could, dodging bullets left and right. 'Hold your fire,' yelled the commanding officer as thunder boomed, unfortunately for him, they didn't stop. He growled, then the plane began plummeting downward.

Many of the officers died as bits of the plane broke off and took them with it, XY however passed back out as was now aiming right for a large tree. Luckily for her, some leaves were jumbled together like a nest, allowing the frail girl to land safely in it's branches.

~Back to current time~

So you see, this is how Failed Test Subject Number X-Y5C3 safely survived the plane crash on this island.

Vi nodded slowly, ignoring the girl behind hers laughter.Whether or not she seemed reasonable to others had no effect on what she was going to do. She looked at the blood and the pills and had a moment of realization. "You have yet to lose their trust, don't you? Still useful? or else they would have stripped you of any means of survival. I wont tell anyone but keep those close at hand, please.." She said, very quietly with evident worry for him. She looked at Darman. "If you want some productivity, Im gonna plant the seeds from the fruit we've eaten tonight, when the suns gone. It would be helpful if you could help me with some shelters, hm?" She felt like she was one of the few over the shock and realization they will probably die. Being at peace with this thought, she knew she was capable of making clear headed and rational decisions.

As Jenna approached the island on her newly found friend. That she now calls Elanor, she realized that she was not going to be the only one on this island and she groaned a bit but decided it was best to have someone around otherwise she would go insane. As she neared the island she looked at Elanor and said "Thank you for taking me this far, but i can swim from here!" She then smiled and jumped off the sharks back, she turned in the water and looked at Elanor "Thank You! I will repay you!" But all the shark did was wave her back fin and submerge.

As she looked at the island more and more people like shapes formed and then as soon as she knew it she hit sand. She dragged herself up onto the beach and groaned, "Ugh, why did it have to be an island why not Hawaii or some where with books and zoos!" Then she sat up and realized that there were people around her and she cringed

"We could use the canvas, but there's kind of a person under it." Darman prodded the parachute a little. "You don't want to make shelter here, too muddy. We would have to go back into the interior."

Finally someone civil. Somewhat of a Pollyanna, but better than ticked off bird people. Back to the task at hand. The canvas could house a few bodies, assuming they stick around. Perhaps parts of the plane could be used to make a shanty of some kind. Not prime living conditions, but better than sitting in the rain.

These people might not be as stable as they seem, except Pollyanna. They could go around killing people in their sleep. Situation was not improving. Shantys and killers. Maybe.

Darman decided to leave the parachute be for now and approached the fruit woman who seemed to be with some other not so well off boy. He looked them both over for any sign of weapons but didn't find any. The deadliest weapons were standing in front of him anyway. In any case, Darman stood just a few steps in front of them. "You really want to try and help all these people here?"

Jenna realized that nobody had saw her and she got up slowly and made her way towards the jungle hoping nobody would see her. She pushed her self up slowly and then began to walk-run towards the jungle after all, she had no idea how civilized these people were and she did not know if they were gonna try and kill her. So she thought for the best go to the jungle.

Vi nodded at his suggestion. A canvas would be great.. unfortunately she couldn't work much without being under shade or at night. She already felt her paper white skin burning and slight sun sickness. Canvas would work well.. though she was curious as to who lay under it.

As far as helping everyone here.. She looked at the group. They seemed angry, scared and disoriented. "I see a grip with some use.. but their in the rough. Whether or not I will help them depends on if they are going to help or mope and consume our limited supply of calories." She said with a smile, as though her thought wasn't cruel. She did not want to see any dead bodies.. so she would give everyone some time to pull themselves together. "Attempts of survival make decent distractions from all that is wrong.. nay?"

"Fair enough." Darman nodded and skirted around the two to the plane wreck. Mainly he was looking for weapons or what could constitute one, but parts of a shelter as well. He threw out some parachutes of various degrees of destruction due to the crash in his search as well as some scrap metal. Three parachutes for maybe 12 or so people. This was going to be a fun night.

Vi looked at the woods and rose an arm. A few tree branches broke off, large and sturdy ones. She closed her eyes, brows creasing tightly as they slowly attached to each other and took form as a single frame for a domes structure, all in one piece. It was large enough to hold a couple people. The structure dropped to the ground and she panted. "Th-there... does that work?"

Jenna stopped and sat down just outside the jungle. She was dripping wet and wanted to hear the rest of this interesting conversation that seemed to be going either one way or the other and she laughed, she laughed loud enough for them to hear but did they hear it is the question?

"As well as it's going to." Darman tossed a parachute to her and readied his pole at the sound of laughter. Great, the crazy showed up. He started closing in on the laughter with his pole ready like a spear. The mud made his approach all but quiet. Rain didn't help either. Still, the rain couldn't mask the heat he could see from this person trying to hide. He stopped just a few feet from this person and waited at a half crouch to see what would happen.

Jenna stopped she knew she had been heard, and she could see the guys with the pole coming forwards. She stopped laughing even though she knew it was too late and she stood up and looked him dead in the eye. "You gonna kill me? Or are you going to laugh?" She asked with her hands on her hips, then she stopped and her eyes went wide. "Something is going to happen." Then her eyes went normal again. "Sorry, i have a weird problem."

Vi moved the wooden frame into an ideal place and forced the supporting pieces to shoot down into the ground. She pulled the tarp over it, keeping an entrance that would disappear should you tug the tarp downwards. Smiling at her handiwork, the rain relieved her burning skin and a sense of satisfaction entered her chest. Good, it would be easier to stay outside with it raining. Her hands quivered a bit. She would need a moment before making the next shelter frame.

404.1

The hairs on her neck started to stand up. Something in her body knew she wasn't alone in the woods anymore before she could even pin point the location of the hunter. In a feral sort of way, her neck snaps up and nostrils flare. Tilting her ears, she hears one of the many failed tests speak.

'something is going to happen'

No fucking shit? No wonder it was a failure too. Casting vague auguries like a modern gypsy. It did give her a chance to act though.

Tatt's eyes close again, focusing on the seeds placed down. Vi had taken four more steps and crouched for a moment. Free lunch and dinner. Getting into a predatory stance, she lines herself up with the supposed position and with a distracting scream, tears across the clearing to snatch at the seeds. Feeling something in her hands, Tatt doesn't bother to slow down. Her feet clawing into the dirt as she once again hit the jungle.

Vi watched as the future of their food was snatched away. She sighed and stood up again, slowly. All her hard work that day, snatched off the ground. She smiled murderously. "Well.. I see one of my lovelies is going to have to die.. nay?" She said, mainly to herself, she covered her face with a hand and chuckled, mainly with irritation. Should her smile ever leave her face, you would know someone was really gonna die, but her threat was just to blow off steam. "Hey, man with the pole in which I have yet to receive a name from? Seems Im gonna have to take another trip to get food later. Growing is going to have to wait."

"I noticed." Darman commented and kept his pole trained on her. "Pull yourself together. Join or leave." With the ultimatum set, he turned and went back to the Pollyanna-like woman. Admiring her power and the frame she built, he looked about one more time for any others. Then the memory hit, there's still someone under a parachute in the mud. All admiring aside, he turned back to the reason he came here in the first place. He gathered up the parachute and tossed it with the others. There was in fact a person under the chute. Not wanting to leave anything to chance, he studied the body for a moment before dragging it under the newly built shelter.

With the charge of some bloody eyed human-like creature, dragging what he had called Joey turned into a strong toss into the shelter. Immediately, Darman followed the form and tracked it's heat. He took a crouch with his pole leaned forward like a spear in the direction of this thing. He placed himself between the thing and the Pollyanna girl who was taking this surprisingly well. "Unless our thief wants to have a little decency and return."

Deeper and deeper she went into the thick jungle, excitement at satiating hunger pains that had gotten to the point of her body eating itself. She ran hard, following a trail she knew was free of branches she began to slow down. She wouldn't head to her home just yet, first she had to eat.

The hunger was just too much to control and for a moment she felt guilt at stealing from the doomed in the clearing, but survival and avoiding another horrific death came first.

Not hearing anything, she dips her hand into the bag, stuffing her mouth with the seeds and chewing hungrily. Oh god it was horrid tasting, the acrid cellulose taste making her wince but the sensations of eating something that wasn't stone hard was just incredible. She nearly started to cry she was so overjoyed. Things were looking up but as she realized someone was close, her world crashed down.

"Who is there?" She rasps out a response to the accuser, pulling the seeds close. This wasn't her part of the island and she wasn't sure what was a few feet off the trail. Only one path she knew back to her home and the voice came from it.

"She may, she may not. Either way its work that must be taken care of.." She was expecting not everyone would like to help or be useful. "And part of that work is finishing the shelters." She wiped off her forehead and made another two before she was out of steam. Panting, she decided to check out the body from the crashing. She took some water from a cleaner puddle and ripped off a piece of her shirt, wetting it. Entering the first shelter, she wiped off the boys face, akin sure he wasn't cut up. Once it was clean, she felt a pulse, then breath. "Hey, leader man? Should we wait to see if he gets up?"

Leader? Am I a leader? What am I leading?

Thoughts ran through Darman's head for a moment before being shunned away. The sound of rain against the tarp was sobering as well as the neutral coloring inside the shelter. Much better for thinking. In all, not a bad living space. It would probably be less desirable with the multitudes of people coming in, but still better than nothing.

Back to the task at hand. Joey was still out and that didn't help anything. There being some bloody eyed seed stealer out there only put emphasis on the situation. Enough with thinking. Darman studied who he named Joey in his own mind trying to decide if he was a vegetable or not. Decidedly not being a vegetable, he took a seat in the shelter.

"Call me Darman." Good. Introductions are good. "Yes, we should wait. We can't safely lug him through the jungle with the seed thief around."

Luna was watching all the others converse, anger still present in her eyes. They talked about many things, but she didn't want to speak up. She was afraid they would hate her, or worse, neglect her. She closed the wings as tight as she could, trying to hide her anger from the rest. She hated this stupid experiment. And the guy threatening to give her a pounding? She could have dropped him in the ocean and je would be dead. Simple as that. She sighed internally and waited, hoping no one wanted to move her wings.
