Fantasy The Lost Treasure of Creation

Vikishvok just smiled when he saw Kokoro adorable sleeping. Must have been a long day for the lady, well don't have much to make a full set of light armor like I would like but I could make her a pair of fingerless gauntlets so she can still use her claws and use her hands to protect herself from blades using her hands to some extent. He moves over to Kokoro to examine her hands to make a few mental measurements of them so he can make the gauntlets to fit. Though after he is done examining her hands he pulls the light blanket over her hoping it would help her stay somewhat warm, the night was starting to get pretty cold. The chill in the air didn't bother him cause his body radiated its own heat when temperatures got this low, nice perk of being a lava dragon. He set his clients sword aside and quickly did her gauntlets, they where quite beautiful yet simple. They had Silver look to them with a reddish-orange tint to them. They were light weight and should be comfortable flexible like a chain mail, but these gauntlets where 3 times stronger than steel and would hold better than typical heavy steel plated gauntlets. He set them on the table then covered them up with a blanket after he cooled them.

Then he laid out a cot on the floor next to the bed and laid down in it after blowing out the lamp in the corner, He stared at the dark ceiling for a bit and felt a cool breeze come through the lightly insulated room. He looked over to bed wondering if Kokoro is going to be warm enough with just a thin blanket. The night was going to be a cold one.

The tigress was a heavy sleeper, and barely stirred at Vikishvok's examination of her hands or at him pulling the blanket over her. She slept soundly while the dragon continued working on his craft, the heat from his work warming up the room. It wasn't until the dragon had finished his crafting and had set out the cot that the room started to get cold, no longer being heated by the man's magic.

Kokoro pulled the light blanket around her more tightly in her sleep, her body curling up more into a ball to try to stay warm. Her dreams began to turn nightmarish, as she dreamed of cold prison walls, of chains and imprisonment, of death and loss. The nightmares caused her to twist in her sleep; since the woman was already on the edge of the bed, the movement caused her to fall off the mattress with a soft thunk, landing next to Vikishvok on the floor. The dragon's natural body heat radiated out from him, and the tigress unconsciously moved towards that warmth in her sleep, letting out a soft sigh as she ended up cuddled up next to the man. Her nightmarish dreams began to fade away, giving way to softer, more pleasant dreams. The heat from the dragon reminded the tigress of her home in the desert, giving her pleasant dreams of her home, her tribe, and her family.

Pansa heard the slight bubbling of the water and the slight swish of small projectiles as his eyes widened. He jumped back, swinging his wakazashi to deflect the needles. Checking himself to see if he was impaled by a needle, his eyes widened as he noticed a shallow gash on his calf. Quickly moving back to camp, he set out his medic kit and started making antidotes and applying all of them. He hoped there wasn't a poison or any substance applied on the needles.

Pansa pulled out a book on exotic poisons and substances and began doing research as he bandaged his calf. He started to see things as his sights blurred and he collapsed face first into the book. Hs began to see visions of a temple and the visions of its golden age. He woke up covered in sweat and panting as he tried to process what he had seen.

Location: Ocean City - Slums

Evaryle followed Geir and looked at how the entrance was activated. He whistled under his breath and took a look. It was a well concealed trap door alright. It just made the elf more and more curious about who created these passageways and for what purpose? To conceal a passageway this well, there had to be some reason. It would really make sense for smugglers, especially traffickers, to use such a thing. They would have a hard time being tracked, even if they wanted to.

"Well, I am officially surprised. To think these hidden passageways had such a complex entrance. No wonder people wouldn't be likely to find them," Evaryle said as he looked at the trap door. He then activated some kind of magic as he held his hands in an elven symbol for "shadow" and "search" which immediately made shadows from nearby outstretch into the trap door and Earyle just stood there for a while. Once he had searched beyond the trap door, shadows that had gone all around the area, to make sure they weren't being watched, returned and Evaryle said, "I'm not detecting anyone around. Just the presence of some rats."

Evaryle then stood back and waited. He would see what Geir would do next before descending to the creepy labyrinth. He wasn't going to dare take the first dive rubbish. It was more dangerous to descend into such a place without prior or potential knowledge of what was below.

Vikishvok smiled at Kokoro when she rolled into floor and cuddled up next to him. How adorable if she keeps this up I might actually melt, no pun intended. She so sweet and beautiful, I cant help but feel..... what's the word?? Warm hearted.?? He thought quietly as he pulled her off the floor and had her curl up on his chest where she looked even cuter. Vikishvok didn't want her staying on the floor but nor did he want to get up cause he was quite tired himself. So he let her lay on top him her head nuzzling into his neck and her feet entangling with his. He pulled the blanket over both of them and wrapped his arms around her waist respectfully as he fell asleep.

He slept pleasantly that night and actually had his first dream in a few years, and the dream was of him and Kokoro having a picnic on a open but beautiful plain of grass. They were both smiling and happy and talking about their days.

Then the next morning came and when he woke up he saw Kokoro adorable curled up on his chest still. She looked beautiful in the morning light, and she was so attractive looking to Vikishvok he couldn't help but to reach up and gently stroke her hair as she quietly slept. His heart started to flutter some as he waited for her to wakeup. He couldn't describe how he felt but he did know it was a wonderful feeling.

The morning light filtered in through the window, brightening up the room where Kokoro still slept on top of Vikishvok. Slowly, the tigress was beginning to wake up. The woman let out a small moan, wrapping her arms tighter around the man and burying her face in the fabric of the shirt on his chest, as if trying to get closer to the source of warmth. Mmm, smells good, and it's so warm... Kokoro thought groggily, still not fully awake yet. Slowly, the woman became aware of the feeling of something stroking her hair. That feels nice, she thought with a small smile, then paused as her mind began waking up more and connecting the dots. The feeling of her hair being stroked, the shape, feeling, and smell of the warm thing she was laying on...the tigress opened her eyes, heart skipping a beat and body tensing as she looked up, her wide eyes settling on Vikis's. Her face immediately turned a bright scarlet color, her ears flattened against her head, and a surprised expression crossed her face as Kokoro froze, like a deer in the headlights.

Vikishvok gave her a warm smile when she looked up at him, she looked so adorable he gave a small chuckle. "Goodmorning sleeping beauty, you rolled off the bed in your sleep, don't worry though. I didn't do anything to you" he spoke in a soft tone as he gently moved the hand her hair up next to one of ears and scratched behind here ear softly to reassure her she was fine. "Your very adorable when you sleep you know?" he spoke in warm but teasing voice seeing she was embarrassed. She just looked so adorable with her bright red face and wide eyes he couldn't help it, and the way here ears lay flat were just irresistible. "Also don't apologize for there is no need, you seemed comfy and I thought it be better I let you just sleep comfortable, so please don't feel bad about it" speaking with a warm smile on his face as he continued to gently scratch behind her ear and admire the wonderful sight before him. Though unaware his heart was becoming fond of her though he knew without he would protect her without hesitation when needed.

The dragon's first few words seemed to snap Kokoro out of her frozen state, at least for a moment, as she began to try to sputter out an apology, though it seemed as though her vocal chords didn't want to cooperate with her as no sound came out. The tigress froze again at Vikis's comment about not doing anything to her. If she could turn any more red, she would have, as she hadn't even thought about that having been a possibility. The scratching behind her ears snapped her out of her frozen state again as she once more attempted to stammer out an apology; the scratching felt good and was really distracting, actually, and it was making it hard for the woman to think of what to say. She had finally found her voice and just started to say something when Vikis mentioned her being adorable while sleeping, making the tigress's words come to a halt and only a small squeak come out of her mouth. She didn't get a chance to try to apologize again before the dragon mentioned not to.

The shock of the situation, plus the distraction of being scratched behind the ears, made it so Kokoro simply didn't know what to say or do. Honestly, the woman was beginning to feel light headed and dizzy from the surge of adrenaline running through her system, fueled on by her quick breaths and racing heart. A quick look down at the rather intimate looking position that she was in -- lying on top of the dragon, her body pressed on top of his, and legs entwined together -- only made her heart race faster, pumping more adrenaline to her brain and making her even more dizzy. The dizziness coupled with the scratching at her ears made her body relax for a moment, as if she was going to pass out, but before she did, Kokoro suddenly moved; scrambling off of Vikis rather ungracefully and getting caught up in the blanket that had been over them, the tigress landed on the floor next to the cot with a soft thud, her legs tangled up in the fabric. "I, ah, uh....I-I..." the girl stammered, trying to kick off the blankets and free her legs. Finally, she blurted out, "I-it's morning andIshouldreallygetreadytogoandletyougetreadytooandweshouldgetgoing," her words ran together as she spoke.

She finally got the blanket off of her legs and scrambled up and over to the door, quickly opening it up and hurrying through it. She closed the door behind her, then immediately leaned against it, her hand at her chest as she closed her eyes, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself and to try to ease her racing heart. She was going to have to go to her own room to get her things -- mainly just her staff -- before they went to the forest to investigate the rumors, but first she needed to just breathe before she actually passed out from the adrenaline and panic that the morning had brought. The bright red color of her face began to slowly ebb away back to a normal color, but a slight pink remained as the woman's thoughts raced over everything that had just happened. Her ears twitched a bit and one hand raised up to her head where the dragon had been scratching behind her ears.
He was so warm, and he smelled really nice... the woman thought, her heart skipping a beat again before beginning to slow to a normal pace once more.

Raiquen said nothing in reaction to Gregor's entrance into the room. There wasn't really much to say, and it was dangerous for a hybrid to go around giving out their name to random strangers. As he listened to Geir walking out of the room, however, Raiquen began to have second thoughts about sticking with this group. Sure, they seemed nice, and the other hybrid seemed to be concerned about him, but he didn't really want to be a burden. He could take care of himself; he always had. "I-I... should... going," he told them, hoping to get across the idea that he wouldn't be sticking around.

Keir turned to look at the shorter winged hybrid as he spoke up. Did he mean he was leaving? "Oh no you're not!" Keir replied, grabbing the boy's arm. The two ravens did not look happy about that. "It's a tough life for fugitive kids like you; trust me. You don't have to stick around after, but at least let us help you out of the city." He started leading the kid out the door after the others.

Raiquen was a little surprised that Keir cared so much. They barely knew each other; there had to be some other reason. Judging by the man's words, it was probably sympathy. Raiquen was about to point out that he could escape just fine by simply flying out of the city, but he decided against it. It might be fun to be with a few other people for a while longer. Resigned, he followed the others to the entrance of the tunnels.

Cynbal Dangrol
The city was a blur and an annoyance. Cynbal disliked the fast pace, the arrogance of the people, ignoring anyother being that might pass them by. Once a hello slipped his mouth no one even turned to shoot him a smile, save a little elder lady. Who understood common mannerisms.

After that small little town where he so strangely ran into two people, who were all too happy to start conversation, Cynbal had decided to continue his travels. And the city is coming close to ending it.

But a few towns ago he had come upon the idea of companions in his adventure. After all he had grown warm to the people in the towns. There should be a few here as it is a scavengers city. Many come here for a variety of reasons. And he was sure to find someone of a good state of mind.

But before that he needed to reach a place where he could meet those kinds of people. A small tavern for breakfast should do. He decided, seeing it was near a few inns, where surely someone would come to eat.

@Rin Nyx @Mister Veeeee

Eri Zabelan
Eri twisted and turned over the city. She didn't like this place, too much polution, whether the people knew it or not. But it was a place of adventure. Ever since the last one she had joined in on, her heart has been aching on another. The mage hadn't been much of a fight. And after that the four of them had found nothing in the tunnels, much to the others dissappointment. But Eri did not mind much at all. The adrenaline rush was enough. And now she was searching for another one. Not liking the formal intoductions, she decided to follow along on a treasure hunt in her air form, then appear sometime along.

Eyes catching onto the shimmer of magic, Eri zoned in onto the slums of the city, and grinned. A group intent on searching no doubt. For what she didn't have to guess twice. But still the air dragon dropped like a rock to where the group was and gently floated above them as the air. Just awaiting for them to enter so she could follow and explore as well.

A familiar presence made her blink, and she searched the group. 'Raiquen' a bigger smile came to her, she had been worried about the others since the tunnels, but now she knew he was safe. And he seemed, better in a way.

With a peace of mind, Eri gently stayed above them, ready to move.

Geir looked back to see who had followed him to the tunnels. Quite a lot of them had, actually. He was a little hesitant to be showing the tunnels to so many people, but he supposed that having so many meant that rooting out any scumbags in the tunnels would be easier, if there were any there.

The dragon looked over at Evaryle as he spoke. "The tunnels were very well hidden. This is probably one of the more hidden entrances, though the others aren't much easier to find, just a bit faster to get into in a pinch," he explained. He nodded at the elf's assertion that no one else was in the immediate area of the tunnel entrance down below. "Great. I'll go first. Watch your step, try not to get caught in any traps, and follow close behind me. The tunnels have a lot of twists and turns, it's easy to get lost down there," he stated, then hopped down into the tunnel. He blinked, his glowing gold eyes adjusting to the dark, then stepped to the side so that the others could get down as well. Blue balls of flame appeared, floating a few inches off the ground and lighting up the entrance and the tunnel going farther in. Like the elf had said, it didn't look as if anyone was there...at least not at this entrance. That was a good sign, at least.

"Looks like the coast is clear," he called up to the others, waiting for them to hop down as well.

((The coast is clear...or is it? Mwahahaha >:] Anyways, I ran out of time to post for Arya, so I'll have to do that either on my lunch break or when I get home from work xP))

Vikishvok chuckled as she scrambled about. The look on her face and her actions almost melted his heart in the figurative sense. He let out a small sigh before getting up and quickly gathering his stuff putting the gauntlets he made for Kokoro in a inside shirt pocket next to his diamonds. Geirs new sword was on his back. He went go out his room but as soon as he opened the door he saw Kokoro falling backwards. He quickly caught her gently hugging his arms around her waist. "Hey, not safe to be leaning against doors Miss Kokoro, are you okay? Your not hurt are you?" he spoke with concern in his voice worried about her. Though he also felt warm fuzzy feeling in heart as he held her that he couldn't explain or understand.

The enkidu woman had just gotten her heart to calm down when suddenly the door she had been leaning on opened up, and she found herself falling backwards. Kokoro let out a surprised gasp as she fell, bracing herself to hit the floor, but instead she felt a much softer impact as Vikishvok caught her. Her heart had already sped up at the sudden feeling of falling, but once the dragon wrapped his arms around the woman's waist, her heart began pounding in her chest. For a moment, she found herself leaning back slightly, into the feeling of the warm embrace that had saved her from falling for the second time. It was a nice feeling, so warm and gentle and soothing...but as soon as the woman realized that, she hurriedly stood up, pulling away from the dragon. No, I can't think that way. It will only hurt in the end... Her ear's drooped a little at the thought.

"I'm so sorry," she apologized as she turned to face him, her hand moving up to cover her face and hide some of her embarrassment. At least she sounded more calm than when she had first woken up. Her face was pink again, but at least it wasn't red as it had been before. "I'm alright. Thank you for catching me...again..." she covered her face more, a bit more embarrassed at the realization that this was the second time that the man had to catch her to keep her from falling. "I'm just...going to get my stuff now,"
and go die of embarrassment, "I'll uh...meet you downstairs, if that's okay?" she told him, trying to keep her voice even and her heart calm. She looked up through her fingers at the dragon, and her heart started beating faster again, her tail wrapping around her legs in a somewhat nervous manner. So much for keeping it calm. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, again calming herself. Now wasn't the time to get all flustered, anyway. She had a time limit for her search, she couldn't afford to waste much time here. The thought of her tribe and her siblings helped to calm her pounding heart, at least enough for her face to return to a normal color, though she still wasn't looking at the dragon in case he made her turn red again. Instead, she waited for his response with her eyes closed, hands covering most of her face.

It was daytime when Pansa had re-established his bearings. He shook the thoughts of the near disaster and tried to concentrate on a few small tasks to keep his attention focused away from the scarring near pincushion experience he had went through. Looking around, he identified and gathered healing herbs and antidotes of the poisons of the region but he prepared some other antidotes for poisons that were once used in the region as well. He figured that an ancient temple defenders may have had access to older poisons.

He stayed away from the caverns as it was too dangerous to enter the beautiful area without immediate danger to himself. He would have to figure out what agent those needles were tipped with. Thankfully the one that grazed him became embedded into his equipment pouch. He noticed upon freeing the needle it was hollow. Taking caution as he extracted it, he used a small knife knock any liquid or powder from the hollow needle. A drop of cloudy liquid fell into a small container he held underneath. He spend the entire day going through all his books, researching the mysterious toxin.

As the sun began to set again he found the toxin he was looking for. The type of poison was so exotic and rarely concocted Pansa only had read accounts of its affects. He spent the last few hours before his eyes no longer would stay open mixing the antidote. He was excited at the possibility of what the temple held but was a bit afraid of what the murals said about the ancient holy place.

Vikishvok had velt her relax in his arms like she was comfortable and was shocked when she scrambled away yet again? She seems to like being neer him but seems to 'afraid' or shy to accept it openly? He couldn't figure it out though the way Kokoro was behaving and speaking seems to point she did like it but for some reason didn't want to show it. He walked closer to her and wrapped one his arms around her waist to pull her into a gentle hug and his other hand reaches up and scratches behind her ears. "Hey don't stress about it, also why pull away from something that make you feel comfortable? I'm here to help you not hurt you" he said try to reassure her that she was fine. He gave her a soft kiss on the head right behind one of her ears. "I'll accompany to your room while you get your stuff Kokoro" he said in a gentle voice not noticing he forgot to add 'miss' in front of her name.

Kokoro's eyes opened quickly with surprise at the feeling of the dragon's arm wrapping around her waist and pulling her closer. Her heart began pounding in her chest again as she was held close; it felt like it would pound right out of her chest, and she would be surprised if Vikishvok couldn't feel her quickened heartbeat. She opened her mouth to protest, but her mind went blank before she could think of words to say. The embrace was just so warm, and the dragon smelled so good...the tigress's sensitive sense of smell picked up on this strongly, the dragon's scent almost intoxicating to her and making it hard to think. The calming feeling of being scratched behind the ears didn't help either, as it relaxed her body enough for her to lean into the dragon's embrace. Her hands moved down from where they had been covering her face, moving to Vikis's shoulders and resting there. She began absentmindedly gripping his shirt, pulling the dragon and his intoxicating scent closer to her as she slowly closed her eyes. He was speaking, but she barely heard the words...

Her heart skipped a beat and her face turned pink again at the feeling of the kiss on her head near her ears. The surprise from the action was enough to help focus the tigress, at least enough to understand what the dragon was saying. A small smile graced her lips for a brief moment at the sound of Vikis speaking her name without the 'miss' prefix. I shouldn't be doing this, I'm getting too close, she thought, starting to feel guilty. She was supposed to be getting married in three months, her own brother and sister were being held captive -- along with the fate of her tribe -- in order to ensure that she went through with the marriage. She should be out looking for a way to save them, even if that means going through with the marriage that she so dreaded. Falling for someone now...no, that would just end up breaking her heart. Still, she found it difficult to step out of the dragon's embrace, finding herself longing for the warmth and wonderful scent as soon as she stepped away. Her hand lingered at the dragon's shoulder, then trailed down his arm as she stepped away, before falling back to her side.

"It's this way," she mentioned quietly, blue eyes avoiding Vikis's gaze. She couldn't look him in the eyes, not right now, or else she'd be risking falling for him completely -- that was something that she felt she couldn't afford. The tigress turned away from the dragon, walking past a few doors and stopping at one that was about four doors down and across the hall from where Vikis's room had been. Kokoro opened the door to her room and slipped inside, taking a look around. She didn't have much to collect, as she didn't have many belongings to carry with her. Really, she only needed to grab her staff from the room. She walked over to where it was safely stored leaned up against the wall. The woman grabbed the silver staff, blue jewels in between silver snake heads gleaming in the light as she did. Once she had grabbed her weapon, she turned around back to the entrance of the room. "That's all I needed, we should get going while it's still early," she suggested, still attempting to avoid the dragon's gaze.

Vikishvok felt her relax in his arms and was happy when she leaned into him. She seemed at piece and very happy. When she pulled away he couldn't help smile. Guessing he was right he followed her to her room with heart feeling fluttery. He couldn't explain it but Kokoro had moved something him that hasn't ever moved before. He couldn't figure out what it was though. After she got her belonging he barely caught a glimpse of her staff, but not long enough to identify it, he was to focused on Kokoro. He was curious to why she kept looking down? He walked over to her knelt some so his eyes were level with hers. He gentle caressed her cheek and carefully lifted her chin so she could look him in the eyes, He was mesmerized by her blue eyes, getting lost in their depths for second before speaking. "You shouldn't keep your eyes on the ground or you might bump into someone. Plus you have no reason to be shy, your a wonderful woman, and I will help you in any way I can, no matter the problem." He spoke with gentle voice wanting to encourage her while getting lost staring into her eyes with softness in his that he didn't know was there.

light shined through the color stained glass of the Chapel, illuminating the the simple wooden benches people would come and sit on during days of worship. The building seemed to be empty, but on closers inspection one could find a woman sleeping, in her undergarments. Her clothes were scattered about the long bench she was on, and her small backpack under her head being used as a makeshift pillow. Scars covered her body, and some fresh wounds could be seen attempting to heal. She was also loosely holding a sword in one hand and hugging a norther tribal war-axe. Suddenly doors could be heard opening behind the alter. Footsteps quickly stepped at a rapid pace moving closers and closers towards the unseemly woman. A sudden and swift hit to the head with a book woke the woman up to find a priest staring down at her angrily.

"You there, we do not accept whores in this holy place, now leave!" the priest spat at the woman.

She quickly dressed and gathered her things. but before she began to exit she swiftly swirled and landed a right hook square on the priests face, breaking his nose and knocking him to the ground.

The priest shocked beyond belief that a mere peasant would raise a hand and assault such a holy person as he... "y..ya...you hit me?!" blood dripped from his nose. "you will pay dearly for that whore!" the man yell. The woman stepped forward and kicked his gut knocking the air from his lungs. The priest curled up in pain. "you bitch..." he spat venomously. The Northern woman knelt down and grabbed his collar pulling his face a centimeter away from hers then smirked. "My name is Inua." Was all she said before she punched repeatedly until he was unconscious. Inua then left the Chapel.

it was early in the morning and she had a ways to walk. She had heard rumors of a dormant volcano hiding a temple that may hold the treasure she is looking for. that one treasure that will change her life... Inua only stopped at a few stores to buy some food, Grappling hook, and rope, then stopped by a well for water then she was off to the temple hidden in the volcano.

Arya watched as the dragon hopped down into the tunnels. She was less eager to go in the tunnels now, since there were so many others that had followed...it felt claustrophobic. She decided that she would just have to keep her distance from the others in whatever way she could in the tunnels.

Once the dragon called up for them to enter the tunnels, Arya shifted her scythe in her hands, then jumped down, her eyes blinking a few times to get used to the change in light. Geir's fire helped to light up the passages, so at least it wasn't pitch black in the tunnels, but there were still harsh shadows and areas that were untouched by light.

The hybrid looked around briefly, then walked forward, passing the dragon and waiting for the others to jump down as well. It smelled damp in these tunnels...a quick look down confirmed that there was an abundance of waters in these underground passageways, as water droplets were accumulating near the girl in a small puddle underneath her feet. Of course...I can never get the water to stop following me when I don't want it around, the girl thought with some annoyance as she waited to get moving again. Farther down in the tunnels, sounds of water droplets hitting the ground and the shuffling of rats could be heard, magnified and echoed by the tunnel walls.

Kokoro's face felt warm as it immediately turned pink again at the soft caress on her cheek. Her eyes caught Vikis's as he lifted her chin to look at him. Her blue eyes stared into the dragon's softly glowing red ones, getting lost in them. Wait, no no no...no...crap... she thought briefly, her eyes glancing away for only a moment before giving in and returning to his. So much for avoiding his gaze. His eyes were difficult to look away from, they were so pretty...

The tigress opened her mouth to protest Vikis's words, but couldn't really think of a response. "I'm not shy..." she muttered lamely after a few moments, her face turning a bit more red at the statement. It was the only thing she could come up with as a response, but she knew it wasn't a good one. It was a bit difficult to think clearly with the dragon so close to her, his wonderful smell and his beautiful eyes distracting her. She wanted to just stay there, staring into his eyes and letting the world fade away; the harsh world that had been so cruel to her, and was still being cruel to her siblings.

The reminder brought her out of her trance again, and once again she felt so guilty. She couldn't stay here, they were wasting time...time which she had precious little of. Her eyes started watering slightly at the thought, but she refused to let her eyes form tears this time. "...Please, we need to go. I'm running out of time," she requested of the dragon softly, the sadness clear in her voice. Her eyes still stared into his, wanting to linger there, but she tore her gaze away after another moment and looked over at the door. She brought her staff in front of her, almost as if creating a small sort of barrier between her and the dragon. Really, though, she was simply gazing at the weapon, which had been a gift from her father. She was using it as a reminder of what she had set out to do.
No more distractions. I need to get going so I can save them, she told herself, closing her eyes briefly. Time to go, she decided as she opened her eyes again, daring to look back up at Vikis and trying not to let her eyes linger for too long before she started moving towards the door once more. Her tail brushed against the dragon's leg as she passed; she was trying to keep herself distanced from the man, but she couldn't resist the small fleeting motion, like a small caress that could easily be passed off as an accident.

Vikishvok was happy with Kokoro's reaction to him. Then after she spoke he was going to reply till he saw her staff and remembered it well. He had made it for his best friend years back. The same friend he hadn't heard from in awhile. Vikishvok also remembered his friend also had intended the staff as a gift for a daughter he had. "If we must move quickly than we shall, though if time is of essence how much time we have left?" he spoke calmly. He was sure she was his friends daughter, though that did not change his feeling towards her In fact it had strengthen his feelings for her, though only subconsciously for the time being. "Also if we're not to pressed for time I would like to drop off my clients sword on the way out, he's staying at a inn by a hospital." He spoke standing beside her resting a hand on her shoulder. "If needed I can fly us where you need to go to make up time" he offered as he offered his arm to her so they may walk together arm in arm. He was planning to speak to her about her father, who was also his best friend, when they where on the road and out of the city.

Ireth quietly followed them through the entrance but noticed that Arya stayed back a little. She looked at her with slight concern but said nothing. The elf observed Evryle as he sent shadows of sorts to scope the area.

The elf followed Geir through the door looking around for traps. In the back of her head she felt a pressure unlike anything before. This put her on high alert, the other elf said nothing was there but she could feel a presence there watching and waiting for them. Not wanting to alarm the others of what might be false information.

Kokoro Himura

Location: Ocean City - Inn

With: Vikishvok; Near: Cynbal

Kokoro looked down at her staff again and her ears drooped at the dragon's question. "About three months and two weeks, but less than that if I include the time I need for travel," she replied, then added, "That might seem like a lot of time, but for what I'm searching for, it's not nearly enough. And the further my search takes me, the less time I have to search, since the travel will take longer and I can't afford to be late going back." The tigress let out a frustrated sigh before collecting herself again and putting on a determined expression. She was going to find the treasure. She had to.

The tigress looked over at Vikishvok as he offered her an arm. She hesitantly accepted, her hand lightly resting on his arm. Her face was a slight shade of pink at the contact, but she willed the bulk of the blush away, trying to keep her face from turning red at the contact for once. Her tail swayed gently back and forth, brushing against the dragon's leg again, though this was mostly a subconscious reaction to having her arm in his. She nodded at the dragon's request. "We can drop off the sword...It would be rude of me to keep you from your clients," she replied. She had almost forgotten about the weapon that Vikis had made, or the piece of armor that he had mentioned making for her. She didn't bring up the armor, though, as she wasn't sure if the dragon would have even gotten to that in the short amount of time during the night.

Kokoro's thoughts began to wonder over the parts of the forging process that she had seen the dragon go through for the sword before she had fallen asleep...then her face began to turn red, as she remembered waking up in the dragon's room in the rather awkward position on top of him. She quickly turned her face away, pretending to be interested in the wall in the stairwell as they headed downstairs to the common room area of the inn. "We should probably get some provisions before we leave, too. Food, water, first aid materials...things like that," she suggested, attempting to distract herself from her thoughts. It was working, at least a little, as her face began to return to its normal color.

Evaryle Avelis

Location: Ocean City - Tunnels

With: Arya, Keir, Ireth, Geir, Raiquen

Evaryle almost immediately noticed Ireth's change. While others may not, he could see almost as clear as ever. Shadow magic sure was useful, but he had mainly used shadow magic so as not to easily be spotted. Wind magic would be more noticeable since winds didn't exactly blow underground. However, he could feel a sort of presence. Not strongly, but he knew something intelligent was there. He felt a tang of eagerness too, kind of like a predator. He took a better look around and noticed a shine on the ground.

Evaryle extended his hand and a blade of air shot out and cut a piece of wire which opened a trap door right by it. It didn't swallow anyone up, but it was probably visible to the others. However, the wire snapped far too easily for such a simple gust of wind. It was an old trap.

"That trip wire has been dormant for a long time, it snapped too easily. I'd recommend watching your steps too. That was a wire positioned so someone would trip and fall into the trap door, probably a trick of the old traffickers I'm guessing."

Evaryle pulled out a small vial of a strange silver liquid glowing with a ghostly blue in the dark, he quickly downed it then threw the glass to the side of a wall. He had used too much magic. He hated to use this rare concoction, but he had no choice. If something dangerous was down there, he would probably need his magic.

Geir Brandr Ignatius

Location: Ocean City - Hidden Tunnels

With: Keir, Evaryle, Raiquen, Ireth, Arya

Geir watched as the elf disarmed one of the old traps. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that one," he muttered with a slight frown, then shrugged it off. It was a fairly easy trap to avoid, anyway. "Alright, let's get moving then," he told the group before leading the way forward through the musty tunnels.

There was a lot of nothing to be found in the tunnels. There were some leftover tidbits from years ago, such as old and rusty cages, the occasional shackle along the wall, and, every now and then, some leftover bones from the previous traffickers' bodies, long since picked clean by the creatures that dwelt within the tunnels. The sounds of rats squeaking and shuffling about was common throughout the passageways, and they would occasionally run across the group's path, some even stopping to stare as they passed.

Even though it seemed as if no one had been in the tunnels for a very, very long time, something still just didn't feel right to Geir. There was something here that was putting him on edge. The group was almost to the exit to the tunnels before the dragon figured it out. It was the rats. They weren't running away from him. Most animals tended to dislike dragons, and in his experience, rats would always scurry away from him without hesitation. These rats were watching the group, even approaching them and scurrying through their paths -- they were not exhibiting fear towards the dragon as they should be.

Geir reached up and slowly gripped the hilt of his sword, gold eyes scanning the area around him and the rest of the group. There were rats everywhere, hundreds of the creatures surrounding the group. Some were easy to see, lit up by the teal flames, their beady, black eyes reflecting the light; others were hidden, staying back within the shadows. "Guys, we might have a problem..." the dragon spoke quietly. They were so close to one of the exits out of the city -- this particular one led to a cave near the beach -- but it looked like they would not be lucky enough to get through the tunnels without running into trouble. Though, Geir supposed that was why he had gone down there in the first place, to find and get rid of any leftover traffickers. If the cause of the horde of brave rodents was due to a trafficker, that is. Perhaps a more innocent type had moved in to the tunnels...though, with how hidden they were, the dragon knew that was not actually a viable possibility. Either way, the source did not seem friendly, as the rats surrounded the group and blocked off the passage forward and backward, forcing a confrontation. Several of the larger rats within the horde began to shift, revealing several rat enkidu men holding daggers, knives, and various other weapons.

"Well well well, what 'ave we 'ere?"

"A bunch'a trespassers, I reckon."

"Can't 'ave 'em blabbin' to the guards tha' we're 'ere, eh?"

The enkidu men sneered and snickered amongst themselves as they spoke to each other, spreading out to surround the group further as they looked at them threateningly.
