Timothy's unconsious body lay near the water. A wave washed over him and he awoke with a start. He gasped, inhaling some of the water. He quickly made his way to the land, coughing and sputtering. He saw Levi laying on the sand, asking for help. He quickly ran over to him. "I...I can help...what do you need?" He asked him quietly. @CodeCJD

Kito kept trying to wake up Miziki until he heard some kind of splashing in the water. When he turned around to he saw a girl screaming for help while basically drowning. He dropped everything he had in his arms while simultaneously removing his shoes and socks before diving in. Kito actually knew how to swim, but trying to save a girl with wings would be something new. He swam in front of her and laid the girl flat against his chest as he slowly paddled back to shore. Once he made it to shallower waters he started walking with the girl in toe. He laid her down carefully and said, "Are you okay? How'd you get in the water?"

Levi tries to look at the boy's face. You look familiar. He said. Well, let's get back to that later. You see, those fuckers decided to dislocate my joints for safety measures, and well, here I am, squirming like a little worm. Could you pop it in place for me? I mean, it will greatly help the healing process if you do. He said, as he wiggle his arms and legs.

~Five days later~

Kito tossed and turned in his sleep, the past few days had been awful. How bad had it gotten? Well, no more courtyard for one. They were no longer served luxurious food but instead only what was absolutely necessary for each experiment...nothing more. They were hardly allowed outside to socialize since the guards feared another fight breaking out. All in all, it was just hell. They were constantly being put through test after test to see how they were coming along and hardly had any time to sleep. Just being able to sleep in for an hour was considered one of the best things ever.





As Kito rolled over once again he inhaled a lungful of something. His eyes snapped open as he sat up and began to cough up...sand? Kito wiped his eyes and took a look around. Where were they? Kito continued to look until he felt a burning sensation on the back of his neck. They had drugged him? No wonder he didn't wake up any sooner. The more he looked around the more he saw the area around him. They were on some kind of beach. His eyes eventually landed on everyone else. Everyone was here too, thank god. He then suddenly spotted a box. He quickly crawled over and yanked the cover off. He saw a note that simply said "Survive, that is your goal." and inside was simply some new clothing with everyone's name sticky noted on with a decent amount of water bottles and beef jerky. It was about enough to last about two days. He looked at the new clothes, it was basically what someone would find at the clearance section of a store. They all were single color shirts. Kito's was a dark blue. It honestly didn't matter to him as he folded it up and grabbed a single water and beef jerky. He then went over to Miziki and began to nudge her,"Miziki, Miziki wake up. They left us."

Miziki Kurone


The past five days had been pretty bad compared to initially. To her that girl ruined everything, ever since that fight if it hadn't of happened everything would of went fine. Her own experiments and tests hadn't been nearly as bad as the others', mostly just courses testing her reflexes and how well she could use her new sight in both forms. There wasn't really much else they COULD of done for her tests. Either that or Cassandra was true to her word about her co-operating not going unrewarded. Despite the tests not causing pain or etc, she was absolutely exhausted at the end of every day and barely got any sleep at all. She'd take that over physical trauma anyday, really. She whined when Kito first started shaking her and simply scooted away a bit before falling back asleep. The drugs finally giving her uninterrupted rest was something she whole-heartedly accepted, even if she wasn't aware she was drugged. Though Kito persisted, her ears twitched and she perked up when he mentioned Slyvia was hurt. Thus she began the process of waking up. She recoiled away from the bright sun in her face while similtaneously hissing from the pain in her neck. She pushed herself up and looked around, seeing nothing but sandbar and ocean for as far as she could see, and trees behind her. What happened? Where were they? She looked around for Kito, being greeted by the faces of the other experiments; each of them as frantic as she. Eventually she saw Kito pulling someone out of the ocean, thus she stood up and brushed the sand off of her current outfit and tail before makig her way over to him and Persephone. "Hey. What happened? Where are we? Is she alright?" She asked, worry, confusion, and fear evident on her face as she looked from them to their surroundings. She assumed they were on some kind of island or something, but..she wasn't sure.

Evangeline slowly sat up and let her senses adjust. Ok....Trees...Ocean....Ok We're not in Kansas any more. she rubbed the back of her neck as she stood up. she could feel the movement of humans to her left so she slowly approached them. she looked and saw a box full of supplies. ok what is going on.... Evangeline cleared her throat before talking.


"does anyone know how we got here.....and where here is?" she asked as she pushed a peace of her raven black hair back behind her blindfold. She shifted her feet, uncountable that people will now notice her.

(To all of you who wanted to see Jesse suffer, this post is for you. The most relevant part is the last section.)


The sneaky bastards had switched her drugs. Classic. Honestly she should have noticed, but Jesse would never have suspected that they would drag her off to a tropical paradise. Not to mention her body was on death's doorstep.


To be frank, Jesse looked like shit. The collision from the dragon had knocked her unconscious but that didn't save her much from the agony when she awoke under the light of a lab chair. A voice from one of the masked doctors enlightened her of her condition (though she could feel it perfectly fine);broken ribs, fractured arm and leg, mild concussion, internal bruising, an infected ankle bite, and a deep laceration of the arm from the bloody lizard's claws. Yet is wasn't so bad as when she was told that she had been 'tinkered' with. If she had had the energy she might have lunged at the nearest doctor's throat, but despite being horribly battered and sewn up, they had bound her wrists and legs to the chair as a precaution.


From there things got steadily worse. Thanks to the sadists in the lab a healing formula was presented that could increase the healing rate of a "labrat's" body, though not fast enough to start testing at a preferred time. Instead, the lead scientist of Jesse's experiment thought that her current state was a prime opportunity to test the limits of the human body and of the 'gift' he had given her. So at the same time Jesse's mangled body was desperately trying to repair itself, she was forced to carry out their brutal tests which involved ripping out her very life energy to transfer it into inanimate objects. Jesse's days and nights melted together to become one endless blur of pain, unconsciousness, and near death experiences. When some of her strength had returned she even tried to rebel and being the idiot she was, managed to take a syringe from one of her doctors and stabbed the woman with it.


That was when the beatings began, which succeeded in cowing Jesse for a time. One time she had even managed to animate a bird-shaped necklace worn by an inspector, causing it to attack its wearer. She was fortunate that the lead scientist found this to be more of an improvement rather than a breach of obedience and she received a 'light' beating accompanied with no food or water for two days.

Now that she was off of morphine and the other healing drugs, Jesse lay in complete anguish upon the sands. What skin that was exposed was covered in bruises and a bandage was wrapped around her left arm. Her casts had been removed as well, but she had been informed the night before that her bones had successfully knitted together from the healing drug, even though the areas that had broken still hurt like hell. Bright sun pounded against her tightly closed eyes as she lay apart from the other subjects, clenching her jaw in silent suffering. When the others had gotten up, she was still half-conscious on the ground.


In the madness of her tests, Jesse had often dreamed that she was away from the lab. For all her muddled brain knew, she could still be in the lab or this was some cruel test of obedience. The lead scientist loved doing tricks like that.

Kito shrugged as he walked over to Miziki. "Looks like she's fine to me, I could be wrong though." he said as he looked back to the girl. That's when he noticed that girl...the one that tried to beat him up. He didn't even bother trying to wake her up and turned back to Miziki. "Okay so we're in the middle of a damn island...what do we do? We have some food and water, but eventually we'll have to do something about finding shelter and a steady supply of food and water." This was quite the predicament. There had to be something the two could do that would benefit the group.

Persephone spluttered and coughed up water as she was dragged onto the beach. For a moment, she couldn't breathe, as some water was still in her lungs, and the same look of panic came over her. Then, she hit herself on the back, in between her wings, and the water came out. She lay back on the sand, exhausted. "I...I don't know. I woke up in the air, then I dropped into the water."

Kito shrugged as he walked over to Miziki. "Looks like she's fine to me, I could be wrong though." he said as he looked back to the girl. She nodded slowly at his response, glanced over to her, and then back to him as he started speaking again. Honestly the thought of being stuck on the island with minimal food and water scared her more than the tests. Though this itself was probably a test. She wasn't sure why she was being asked anything. Up until six days ago she was just a normal blind girl, not some kind of survivalist. "I-I..I don't know. We could travel further inland, maybe? Look for shelter, edible food..fish, water? Then come back and tell the rest? Maybe.." She replied. She could pretty much sniff out fish and the like, plus with his flight they'd find things easier. But beyond that Miziki had no idea.

Miziki did have a point. Kito changed to his dragon form as he said,"Alright, let's see if we can find anything from an aerial view. Hop on." His wings stretched out with a grin. It had been so long since he got to fly without a ton of sandbags on his back. The worst part was, if he didn't meet the required time, he'd be forced to put them on his wings and fly like that. Although, Kito couldn't deny that his wings were a lot stronger. He waited for Miziki to hop on, she would have to be his second set of eyes since he wouldn't be able to look at everything at once. Hopefully, they could find something.

Jesse's eyes shot open to find a blurred face of some child looking down at her, so close she could feel his breath on her own face. It took her by surprise, and old instinct caused her hand to clutch roughly onto the child's arm and shove him away with a look in her eyes that held a frightened anger that was not meant for this particular person.


Jesse's heart pounded in her chest as she scrambled backwards on the sand before shortly falling into a sitting position. She immediately regretted this when Instant pain raked all along her bruised side and drove into her recently healed wounds. Needless to say a variety of jumbled curses followed.


She placed a hand onto her throbbing head, as if it could stop the stabs of pain being caused by the bright light. Grey eyes scanned around her location while her mind attempted to piece together the current situation. Only then did she seem to remember the little boy she had shoved away and for a split second her cold glare seemed to have an apologetic glitter when she looked to the boy. Then it ended.


"Dont do that again!" she snapped while trying her best to stand but only managed to fall back down. This resulted in more cursing but she eventually settled to stay seated for now (she did not wish to fall on her ass in front of all of the others)


Jesse crossed her arms and glared at the others. "I'm not even going to ask where we are; only some hell would put me with that bloody brute." she growled towards Kito.


Her face was bone-pale and her pony tail was askew, yet her eyes still held a frozen fire.


"That piece of shit tried to kill me!"


She watched in distaste as he flew away, but she could not deny the flutter of relief when he disappeared from sight.

As he was pushed backwards, he fell back over his tail. He rolled for a moment, then came back to the sitting position. As he had rolled, the razor sharp end of his tail nicked his arm. He ended up sitting on his tail, and tears welled up in his eyes. When she snapped at him, his bottom lip stuck out and quivered, his eyelashes fluttered, and he began to cry. Tears streamed down his face, and he looked up at Jesse with a mixture of fear and anger.

After all she'd never told him she couldn't actually fully see, in either form..though her vision seemed to be constantly improving in her fox form. "Okay, ready!" She told him, clinging to his scales as best as possible with her small paws.

Kito nodded as Miziki grabbed on tight. But before he took off he listened to some woman's constant uttering. He only shook his head and muttered,"Shut up already." as he took flight. He flew up a good height to make sure even he could see better. He flew over the vast island and it's massive jungles and forests. He scanned around with his reptilian eyes for a moment, but honestly couldn't find anything worth reporting. The dragon kept his eyes peeled as he said,"See anything worthwhile back there Miziki?"

Miziki pretty much ignored Jesse. She felt no sympathy for her, at all. In-fact she completely blamed her for their current predicament. If she hadn't of flipped and attacked Kito for no reason, they wouldn't be in this mess more than likely. They'd started treating them cruelly for misbehaving, and so they sent them here once they got bored with them. All thanks to Jesse. Once they took off however she pushed those thoughts aside and started scanning the surrounding area for anything useful. All she saw was trees, more trees, and oh look a tree! She shook her head and frowned, although he couldn't see her. "Nope..nothing at all. Just enough trees to build a small village. At-least we'll have plenty of wood for shelter.." She replied. "Maybe go down a bit lower? I dunno.." She added. They were on a tropical island. There had to be food, animals, something. A freaking coconut tree for Gods' sake.

Kito continued to soar through the air, occasionally flapping his wings to keep his height steady. Once Miziki told him to go down a bit more Kito did as she said with a short grin "Whatever you say boss, you're the one riding on my back." he said as he continued to stare. Eventually he slowed down a bit before coming to a complete stop. He used on of his claws to point over to what appeared to be a massive waterfall. "Looks like we found our water." he stated blatantly. The waterfall was really nice looking, but for now they had to focus on their other necessities.

Miziki blinked, if she was in her human form she'd be blushing. She didn't exactly mean it that way..she just figured if they went lower they'd find stuff. She didn't mean to order him around. "O-okay.." She mumbled. She continued looking around as he went lower, trying her hardest to spot anything of use. Thus far all it proved to do was get a better view of the trees. Soon enough Kito stopped, she was about to question why when he pointed out the waterfall. She had to admit, it was pretty. She'd admire the sight more, but they had to find food. The trees they could use to build shelter, they'd need animals and fruit for food though. She shuddered slightly at the thought of hunting and skinning her own food, sadly it was needed however. Just as the thought crossed her mind a family of deer(are deer on islands? Lol)made their way to the waterfall for a drink. Food problem solved. "W-well..We can hunt for food I guess..if we have to. Hopefully we'll find fruit and stuff though." She told him, pointing out the deer.

Sage briefly looked up at Kito and Miziki as the dragon-boy took flight, off to find things for food and shelter. Couldn't he have gone flying to look for civilization? Well, with the size of his dragon form, it would take him forever to transport them all... Except the injured chick. Sage had seen enough of their fight, aka the beginning, to blame her for their fate.


His attention switched when a blur of motion caught his eyes, his brain telling him to chase it. Seeing that it was a little boy, though, he didn't fling himself at the motion the first chance he got. Once he noticed the child was crying, though, he did go over to him, kneeling down beside him, "Hey, hey, don't cry. What's wrong?" He noticed the boy bleeding- more accurately, he could smell the blood, "Oh, you're cut, uhm, hold still."





He tore the hem off of his shirt, which was stiff and even more frosty than where he had been laying. This may not work the way he had wanted ...

Hearing the boy talk, Levi's ear wiggled. A flashback appeared in his mind. He remembered the scene in the courtyard, the little boy he met a couple of days ago. He doesn't look like the boy before, but with how his voice sounds, Levi is sure that it is the same kid. With green hair and a plant sticking out, it is obvious that he had been experimented on. Levi did not mind it at all, he himself is a freak now, and quite disappointed. He doesn't like the way he looks now, because he thinks that he looks like a villain from a comic book. With menacing looking eyes, sharp teeth, and claws, he felt like he belongs to a freak show in a circus.


Levi winced in pain as the boy pop his joints back in place. Levi's body can heal injury way faster than a normal human being, his body can adapt to poisons, but just like everybody else, he is not immune to pain. He sat on the sand as soon as the boy finishes. He rotates his left arm as if he's trying to test if it's okay. Although the pain is still there, it will slowly subside, maybe after an hour. Thank you, little boy. Levi said, smiling. He sat up on the sand and stretches his legs out, his hands are behind him for support. He shakes off the sand on his head, and stares at the blue sky. Somehow, it gives him strength and hope. This hellish experience will someday come to an end. He unknowingly said out loud.


A voice came out. Levi turns around to see a girl approaching them. She sounds like she also doesn't know where she is and what is happening. He stood up to face the stranger. Blindfolded? Maybe she shoots out laser from her eyes. Levi thought. He took a step forward towards her and burrowed his feet under the sand a bit to have a better traction in case he needs to suddenly dodge. He went at the boy's side and rests his hand at the boy's head then guides him behind his back. Do you, by any chance, know her? Levi whispers.

Jesse scowled when the boy began crying, the noise causing tendrils of discomfort to worm their way into her skull. To be honest she hadn't intended to have hurt the kid, and acted purely out of instinct. Besides, he should have known better. 'Kids these days...' she thought glumly while testing out the strength in her legs and arms with a stretch. Her grey eyes glanced over to see an older boy offer help to the sobbing kid but after that she paid him no further heed. She had her own problems.


Jesse was not one to sit around and wait for prince charming to saunter along, nor would anyone here offer much help... they were all lizard-boy's little pets. No doubt they were too scared to oppose him and decided to kiss his ass instead. She wondered how long it would take until Ser Dragonballs lost it and bit off one of their heads. It was only a matter of time.


A sting of pain shot up her bad leg as she pushed herself up onto her legs. The sand shifted beneath her feet, making her liftoff rather perilous but she was able to quickly regain her balance by holding out her arms away from her body. Just standing up so quickly had caused her head to begin throbbing anew, but she gritted her teeth and forced herself to limp towards the supply crate. By now pain was nothing new to Jesse and her relentless experiments and testing procedures had forced her to build up an endurance even with such a taxed energy supply. Mr. Lead Scientist had dotted over this and praised it as a "growing of the gift" but she liked to call it the beginning of revenge.


After what seemed like an impossibly long time, Jesse made it to the supply cache and knelt down beside it. Shirts, water bottles, and some dried meat that looked suspiciously like leather was what she could see; enough for all of the rugrats and herself. She didn't bother to see if the items were meant for particular people, nor did she care, and picked up a dark grey shirt. All that she was wearing right now was a jumpsuit provided by her gracious experimenters with (thankfully) her undergarments and sports-bra intact beneath. She was growing uncomfortably hot with the sun so she peeled off her jumpsuit down to her waist, tying the sleeves around her abdomen to act as a belt, and pulled the grey shirt over her bruised flesh. The final touch was to rip off the sleeves of the new shirt to expose her tattooed right arm and the bandaged mess of her left.


Once she was happy with her garb she deftly pocketed three packages of the dried rations and a water bottle before limping off to sit on a rock away from the group.

The gritty taste of sand woke Ivory from her slumber as she lay on her stomach cheek pressed into the sand. The white haired girl groaned and rolled on to her back, sighing at her aching muscles the young woman slowly sat up and with a metallic creak of fake bones stumbled to her feet. She looked around the sound of crashing waves strange to her, she scowled questioning why they'd left her here. Her good eye danced along the sand as she took in her surroundings it became apparent to Ivory that she wasn't alone.
