Kito was taken aback as he was pushed away and the sudden kick to the back of the knee sent him straight onto his back. He gripped his knee and groaned in pain. Why were the people here such A-holes!? He tried to get back up but his knee was still a bit messed up from the kick. He shot a look of anger at the girl as he said,"If I were you, I'd get out of here. Believe me, you don't want this. I-I don't want to hurt you." He sounded almost genuine. It was almost as if he had an ace up his sleeve that would almost guarantee victory in this situation.

The doctor grinned as the boy seemed curious enough. He reached over to a large mirror and dragged it over. He positioned it at the boy and said,"Some of my finest work yet, even if I do say so myself. You are now part plant. And as such, you are able to accelerate the growth process in other plants to a degree." The doctor went back to cleaning his equipment. He knew the boy would have more questions about what he had become. And to be honest, he was more than happy to answer them all.

Miziki Kurone

And, of course, expected action was expect from Jesse. Miziki flashed her fangs and started growling more lowly, her advance quickening. She pretty much ignored Kito's warning and ran straight for Jesse's ankle in an attempt to utterly maim it. She wasn't exactly fully in control of her instincts, which were currently telling her to protect her friends. Despite being extremely small, her teeth were still more than sharp enough to wound Jesse should she actually do it instead of being punted like a fluffy football to the other end of the garden.

A look of satisfaction passed over Jesse's face as she looked down at the fallen boy "Isn't it funny how they always whine and stick their tails between their legs when they know they are on the losing half." Her boot soon found his hand and she immediately began pushing down her weight onto it. The Dark brown locks that had escaped her pony tail ringed her down-turned face as she spoke. "Funny thing is that you hit first, and I hate it when people pick fights."


Suddenly something latched onto her opposite ankle that brought daggers of pain shooting up her leg. "What the hell?!" Jesse growled as a fluffy orange mass worried at her ankle. It hurt like hell, but Jesse's reflex was to begin kicking at the fox's face with her free foot, ignoring the fallen boy for the time being. "Get off of me you mangy mutt!"





(hehe this is great, though you just made Miziki's face an easy target for kicking >:3)

Kito felt the boot grind into his foot. The pain alone was unbearable, if it wasn't for Miziki Kito's fingers most likely would have broken. But the moment he saw her start kicking Miziki, Kito suddenly became part dragon again. His eyes became reptilian again as a set of horns sprouted from his forehead. This was followed by the growth of wings on his back and a set of claws for hands. Kito quickly back up on all fours, looking like he was about to charge like a bull, before suddenly charging at her on two legs and hooking the woman with his horns before tossing her off to the side. His teeth were now becoming more dragon like as he approached where he threw her, small sparks falling out of his mouth. It looked almost as if he was ready to kill her where she stood.

well this is turning for the worse. Evangeline was going to be sick if she kept watching this cause of the movements but if she just walked away she would feel horrible too. so taking a deep breath she raised her voice so the group fighting would hear her.


"how about we all just calm down." she gave a weak smile.


"I know it stressful but you don't have to take it out on everyone." she said as said as she turned her head to the fallen girl (Jesse) and slowly approached her.


" are you ok?" she looked down as she bit her lip. that's going to leave a mark. she looked up at the dragon dude.


"um....can you please calm down...before you hurt someone.*cough* else *cough*" before she turned back to Jesse and crouched down and attempted to help her up.

Miziki Kurone

The first kick Mizuki ignored and continued biting Jesse, growling and snarling as she did. The next few were decently hard to ignore and caused her to let go and tumble to the ground. She whined in pain and struggled to push herself up, pretty much immediately flopping over as she did. She was in pain and what she did really didn't seem to of helped much at all. Blood ran down her face and fur, the actual extent of her injury unclear. She saw Kito morph and charge towards Jesse and knock her to the side. She watched as he approached her, fairly sure he was about to kick her ass. Honestly, between her and Levi she hoped Jesse got the worse out of anyone there. How someone could be so cruel at a time like this she'd never understand.

Timothy began to panick a bit when he saw the sprouts growing out of him. "W...what the heck?! H...how does it work? How do I grow plants?" He asked the doctor nervously. His body was trembling a bit. @Isune

Sylvia




Sylvia showed no sign of distress when she was insulted by some teenage girl that seemed to decide that she was superior to everyone around her, she just blinked her differently colored eyes and mumbled, "I'm not an experiment, dumbass."




Yeah, she was completely desensitized to cursing, and would even curse when she was annoyed by something, and this girl fell in the 'annoying' category. She may not have quite understood the meaning of the words she'd say, but that didn't affect anything.


When people started fighting, she backed out of the way, and looked towards the direction she thought some guards should be in. She had been told not to get in fights, herself, so she wasn't going to join, though violence in this facility was about as frequent as cursing, so she wasn't bothered by it, either. Didn't seem guards were coming this way...

Blood was dripping into Jess's boot by the time she was able to dislodge the Fox's teeth from her ankle with a good kick. She saw the furry creature land to the side with a satisfying whimper but the moment of triumph was short lived.


A growing shadow in the corner of her eye soon caught her attention and she turned her gaze to find that the candy-boy's form was growing wings and horns . The transformation was occurring at such an alarming rate that by the time she was turned to face him there was a charging dragon in his place.


Jesse had enough time to utter a loud curse before the beast's horn jabbed into her abdomen and sent her flying into the air. Fortunately her leather vest absorbed the worst of the horn's blow, but she knew perfectly well that there was a giant bruise waiting to grow on her side. She landed onto the grass with a thud before her momentum caused her to roll.


"Shit ... they make freaking dragons here?" She thought while struggling to get up. With a hand she waved away the blind girl's help before spitting to the side.


"Heh, how typical.. too weak to fight fairly." She snarled, unsure if he could understand.


Her ankle throbbed in agony and the world was shifting ever so slightly beneath her as Jesse forced herself onto one knee. It would be clumsy, but she was certain she could scramble out of the way if the lizard attacked again. Man she wished she had her knife right now.

By the time Kito was within range of the girl, he was a full dragon now. His ragged fangs hung out as his lip upturned in a snarl. He slowly paced around the girl, smoke leaving his nostrils with every exhale. He took a deep breath before creating a ring a fire to surround her. The blue flames rose high, far too high for anyone to see what was going on from the outside, and for a moment it looked as if Kito refused to go into his own flames. But the dragon went through them like they were nothing more than a warm breeze. It was obvious that trying to fight a dragon with his own fire wouldn't work. He stared down at the girl for a moment before suddenly headbutting her with the blunt side of his horns. Once she was down, Kito let out a roar of triumph as he pinned her down with one of his limbs blocking out hers. His talon like hands dug deep into her flesh as the dragon drew ever slow closer.

(*pushes the bass-ass button* IT FILLS YOU WITH DETERMINATION!!!)


Jesse backed away from the dragon's approach, her hands balled into fists as she held them before her in a feeble attempt to persuade herself that it would provide some protection. She was considering the probability of fleeing when a surge of heat erupted from the dragon's mouth and seared the earth in a wide ring around her.


"Shit!" she said, looking around at the ring of hungering flames. It seemed as though the beast was planning on roasting her alive until its ugly head appeared through the flames with the rest of its scaly body following shortly behind.


The hot air tugged at her dark hair, causing it to rush wildly about her face. "You win, okay!" she shouted. But when she glared angrily into the dragon's eyes she didn't see the same boy whom had reached out his hand to offer her candy. Something primitive linger there instead.


He was trying to kill her.


Jesse cried out in pain as the dragon's claw pushed themselves into the flesh of her arms and pinned her down to the ground. Above her face, death peered down.


She had heard of survival instinct before, but she had never been consumed by the fervor of fighting for your life to this degree. Yet her body seemed to know exactly what it needed. 'Survive!' her mind screamed. The fire around her seemed to have been absorbed into her blood, for she could feel a renewed strength in her limbs and the pain of her arms and mangled ankle seemed to flicker out as quickly as her peripheral vision.


Sometimes your life boils down to one crazy moment. Sometimes it is dependent on one crazy moment.


With a cry of rage, pain and desperation, Jesse forced her left arm free of the dragon's grip, resulting in deep rends in the flesh of her arm. Blood welled from her wounds and oozed down her arm, so dark it looked to be black in the flickering light of the fire. Yet she felt only determination as she forced the same arm to grab the beast's head by the horns and force it sideways enough to loosen its grip on her other arm. Somehow she ended up hoisting herself onto the dragon's back, a desperate attempt to avoid the gnashing jaws.To keep herself there, she wrapped her legs around the dragon's neck and grabbed one of the horns. Her free arm bent and she began repeatably smashing the beasts head with her elbow. When her mind eventually caught up, she had an idea.


"Move you bloody oaf!" she roared, returning her hands to the dragon's horns to steer him forward.

Kito was a bit surprised to see his prey tear off part of their arm just to get free. A feisty one, Kito liked the thrill...at least the more feral side of him. Once she found her way onto his back, Kito felt the constant annoyance of elbows on his head followed by a yanking of his horns. This only pissed Kito off more as his wings spread and the massive beast took flight. He let out a roar of sheer anger as he began to do loops and rolls to get her off.

Good news, she was out of the fire. Bad news, the dragon was trying to shake her off.


"I'm not dying that easy!" Jesse snarled through gritted teeth as she wrapped her arms and legs around the dragon's neck and held on to dear life.


(Alright, you can just have her become unconscious and in critical condition after the collision.

Sylvia



​

Used to fighting and suicidal were two different things, and Sylvia was only the former. She knew that staying near the crazy lady and Kito wasn't likely to be a safe course of action, so she did what any six year old would do- she left, probably to get somebody if she came across them on her way back inside. Jogging in the door, she came to a guard. Pulling his arm to get him attention, she said, "Mister, there's a fight. The dragon and some crazy lady are fighting."

Miziki Kurone

Miziki watched the fight as best she could with her hazy vision from her injuries coupled with her already blurry vision. It looked like Kito was winning, but she wasn't entirely sure. She hoped he was, that girl really deserved it. After a few moments she fell unconcious with a pained expression on her face. A minute or two after that she transformed back to her human form sprawled out on the grass. There was a huge gash on her head with blood running down her face from where she was kicked, nothing was broken but the injury was there. She more than likely had a concussion on top of it. Luckily her tail posistion just right to cover her behind from view, currently.

~Five days later~

Kito tossed and turned in his sleep, the past few days had been awful. How bad had it gotten? Well, no more courtyard for one. They were no longer served luxurious food but instead only what was absolutely necessary for each experiment...nothing more. They were hardly allowed outside to socialize since the guards feared another fight breaking out. All in all, it was just hell. They were constantly being put through test after test to see how they were coming along and hardly had any time to sleep. Just being able to sleep in for an hour was considered one of the best things ever.





As Kito rolled over once again he inhaled a lungful of something. His eyes snapped open as he sat up and began to cough up...sand? Kito wiped his eyes and took a look around. Where were they? Kito continued to look until he felt a burning sensation on the back of his neck. They had drugged him? No wonder he didn't wake up any sooner. The more he looked around the more he saw the area around him. They were on some kind of beach. His eyes eventually landed on everyone else. Everyone was here too, thank god. He then suddenly spotted a box. He quickly crawled over and yanked the cover off. He saw a note that simply said "Survive, that is your goal." and inside was simply some new clothing with everyone's name sticky noted on with a decent amount of water bottles and beef jerky. It was about enough to last about two days. He looked at the new clothes, it was basically what someone would find at the clearance section of a store. They all were single color shirts. Kito's was a dark blue. It honestly didn't matter to him as he folded it up and grabbed a single water and beef jerky. He then went over to Miziki and began to nudge her,"Miziki, Miziki wake up. They left us."

Natsume's eyes fluttered open to be met with a sudden and blinding ray of light. She couldn't help but let out a sudden squeak of surprise and pushed herself up, her hands pushing into something grainy and soft. Once her blue eyes adjusted to the light she found herself somewhere she really didn't expect to be; an island. How she got here or why she was put here she didn't know. Perhaps it was an illusion? Maybe an experiment to further enhance her own illusionary powers wound up trapping her in an illusion of her own? Or she was just dropped off her. The blonde girl got to her feet and looked around the beach she was on, noticing that some of the other subjects were here as well. "Hello!?" She called out, waving at the others.

Sage awoke coughing and sputtering when he inhaled partially frosted sand; he still had trouble controlling his powers, so frost was normal to see anywhere he had been still for a while. If he gained control, that would probably stop; he wished the same went for the fact that he was perpetually cold.


Shivering like he always did, Sage stood up, jerking up his thigh-high stockings so that they sat in their proper place. A moment's worth of observation told the dog-boy that Kito was already awake, and looking in a box. He walked over to Kito, peering inside of the box, to find jerky, water, and shirts. He pulled out the shirt with his name on it, "They fuckin ditched us here."

Kito peeled off his little sticky with the name on it as he waited for Miziki to wake up. One of the few friends he made in this hellhole took priority over the strangers. That's when a dog-boy walked over to Kito and said that they had ditched them here. He only nodded and said,"Yeah, but it's better than being in the lab all day. I'm sure we'll be able to pull through no problem." before going back to trying to wake up Miziki. "Miziki, wake up, you're going to be late. Wake up, Sylvia broke her leg." he said until a sudden realization hit him: where was Sylvia? Such a little girl shouldn't be doing anything on her own.

[Scattered Ambitions]

Persephone

Persephone lay sleeping on the sand. From anyone elses perspective, she looked peaceful. But truthfully, her mind was chaos. The only hint of this was her wings, on ennd and twitching. Then, suddenly, they jerked her into the air, pulling her around like a rag doll for a few moments, then dropped her into the ocean and went limp. Her eyes popped open as she went under, air bubbles coming to the surface as she screamed. Then, as she got her bearings, she frantically splashed under the water. She would flap her wings for a moment, and that would bring her to the surface. As her head broke through the water, she gasped, and sucked in a breath. Then back under. Now, while this fact was unknown to most of the world, Persephone couldn't swim. And she was having quite a hard time learning right now, so as she popped up, she would scream help, or something akin to that.

Vinny

Vinny woke to the sound of waves crashing, and something gritty underneath his cheek. He sat up, rubbed his eyes, to rid them of sleep, and stretched. He then stood up, and took a look around. The first thing he noticed was a lot of people he didn't know. Yet. He knew he would make friends with them all soon. He tottered, still quite tired, over to the box, everyone was standing around. "What's in there? And where am I?" It was then that he felt the large, heavy thing poking out of the back of him. He craned his little head over his shoulders to try and have a better look at it, but all he succeeded in doing was turning in circles and falling down.​
