Jesse's eyes turned into chips of ice when the half-robotic woman gripped onto her arm with a metallic hand. Unbelievable pain surged up her arm like a wildfire and she could feel specks of moisture growing where the wound was reopening. She released a hiss of pain through clenched teeth as she glared at the woman with a look that could curdle milk. As the pressure increased she could feel anger swelling. The agony was making her dizzy as well, but she forced herself to not faint in front of Robocop.
Then her eyes found the metallic arm, its silvery (forgive me if its another color) surface shimmering where the sun caught its edge. Metal.


"You should listen to the boy, pretty" she grunted through clenched teeth.


A faint blue glow began to trickle from Jesse's arm and onto the metallic arm. From Ivory's point of view it might begin to tingle oddly or feel numb if she can detect that sort of thing. But for Jesse, she was beginning to feel its presence as she started to possess the metal and soon the grip would begin to loosen slightly.


Meanwhile Jesse's right arm slowly touched the carving she had made in the sand, which when her fingers made contact with the sand, started to shift very slightly.


She could feel her energy draining from this, but she was more focused on fending off the half-robotic girl.

Ivory rolled her eyes and released the girls arm of he own accord, "you honestly need to rely on something other than just your powers," the woman wiped the blood off on the sand, "pretty little tricks won't always be there for you," she laughed quietly. looking at Vinny she sighed, "you're wasting you time kid."

When the girl released her grip from Jesse's arm and commented on 'not relying on her powers', Jesse began to laugh. It was partially sane, but the rest was out of pure madness when she recalled her hand-to-claws fight with Kito's raging dragon form. A freaking dragon! It was madness- no sane person would have climbed on top of the beast's back after ripping apart their arm... but she managed to do so.


"Trust me, gorgeous, I know my way around a fight without my powers." she said with a chuckle. "I can say that this wound is from one particular fight, though I'm not sure if you know where yours came from."





She leaned back against the rock and looked curiously over at the kid. It amazed her that even after all of her pointed words and remarks he had stood up against this monstrosity. Mind you, he didn't do much, but it was still something. The kid had balls.

"You're shit at fighting of you got hurt light that," Ivory shifted on her feet, "let's just say driving next to a drunk driver is a bad idea." She shrugged her strong muscular shoulders, "I haven't been injured since."

Persephone

Persephone, after sitting and watching the ocean for a while, decided to go exploring. As she went into the forest, she yelled to the group that she was going for a walk. She then walked into the trees. The forest, when you were inside of it, was absolutley beautiful. She looked down at the ground. Moss of every shade grew along the bottom of the trees, and over the rocks. She looked up. The leaves blocked out a lot of the light from above, but rays of it did manage to find holes in canopy. And when the light shone through those holes, it came out in a rainbow of colors. The birds chirped, squirrles chattered, and everything was good.

Persephone felt a wave of peace come over her, and settle deep in her bones. She practically skipped through the woods after that. Everythign was jsut so amazing. Amazing enough that she began to sing. She had taken singing lessons her whole life, and while she was certainly not amazing, she didn't sound like a dying cat either. She sang a variety of songs. It didn't matter to her weather or not she knew all the words. If she didn't, she would just fill in a line with something else.

Soon, she felt very sleepy. She had to stop skipping, and soon after that she had to stop singing. One moment she was walking, the next laying down on an unusally large and thick pile of moss. Then, she was out, dead to the world.

After a while, she woke up. She streched and stood up, looking around her. She saw only her footprints. She did hear a low growl coming from one of the bushes, but didn't think anything of it. She walked for a while, before coming upon some animal tracks. As she crouched down to look at them, she heard a growl behind her. She slowly turned, slightly more concerned than she had been before. She then came face to face with the largest wolf she had ever seen. It growled again, baring it's teeth. Persephone then did one of the worst things to do in a situation like this. She turned tail and ran.

After only a few moments of this, she felt horrible, burning pain in her left heel, then her right. She attempted to keep running, but couldn't. It seemed the beast had snapped her achilles tendon. It then grabbed her by her torso, it's teeth punching eight bloody holes through both sides of her stomach, and meeting in the middle. They had gone all the way through her. She let out a blood curdling scream, that could be heard by everyone at the beach. The beast then trotted through the woods, and was soon out of the trees, and on the beach. In a moment, it was at the water. She had been beating on it the whole way down to the water, but this time hit jsut the right areas. It's nose, ears, and eyes. It dropped her into the water, and she was pulled out by the tide, the hole in her stomach letting blood out into the water.

A shark smelled the blood in the water and swam up to her. It grabbed one of her arms in its teeth, and began dragging her out to sea. She continued screaming the entire time. The shark, however, didn;t get very far before it was joined by another, that also grabbed her by her arm. They both attempted to pull her their way, but all they succeeded in was pulling her arms off of her. This let out even more blood, and resulted in a feeding frenzy. Many more sharks came up, and ate her alive. She was unconcious by then, so she didn't feel it, but was soon dead. Not that there was anything of her left.​

Jesse smirked at the comment about her skill. "I beg to differ. There is little you can do against a raging dragon with just your bare hands and if the legends are true, most people get eaten. But I lived to tell the tale. This wound was caused by me ripping my arm free from the beast's claws before I wrestled his ugly head away with the same one. Face-planting into a windshield is less of a feat, but to be fair you did survive in mostly one piece. I suppose it's more than what most people can say"





Just thinking about the battle with Kito's dragon caused a tingling sensation under her bandage where the rents in her flesh bore his mark. She remembered those two eyes glaring down at her with nothing but death in their depths, and the glare of the flames as they flickered in his eyes.


A sudden scream brought her attention back to the present. Jesse turned her head towards where the ear-splitting sound came from.


"Sounds like someone is having a grand time over there." she said in a bored tone.

Kito was about to tell Miziki about his sketch until he heard one of the most terrifying screams he had ever heard. He heard the scream getting pulled further and further away until he heard the sound of something hitting the water. He quickly got up and ran around the beach until he saw it. It took him a moment to realize what had happened but once he saw the trail of blood leading to the ocean and the chunks of flesh still floating about he dropped to his knees. Everything hit him at once and Kito instantly threw up. Just the idea of a girl being dragged here by something and then being eaten by something in the water was disgusting. Tears began to well up in his eyes as Kito realized that it was the girl who said she was going to head out for a walk. One of them was already dead. Someone was going to have to take charge and oversee the rest of the experiments from now on. But who?

Miziki jumped and looked around as she heard the screaming, she could hear it perfectly even as the source was dragged away. What happened? She figured it was one of them, but who? When Kito got up she followed without question, hoping whoever caused it wasn't dead...but it was likely they were. That was only confirmed when she smelled blood. Her eyes widened in horror, what had drug her to the ocean to get killed? "Wh-what even happened? How.." She spoke, mostly to herself. It was probably a good thing she couldn't see properly, or she'd probably be throwing up alongside Kito at this point.

Miziki frowned slightly and sat down beside Kito, placing a hand on his back in his comforting manner. If she were being honest she was more scared than she was when she was kidnapped. Out here, death was a big possibility it seemed. It also seemed Cassandra didn't care about them anymore, not if they couldn't survive. But, if this is what all their training was for..she was sure they could survive. Whoever died was simply unlucky..that was it. They were trained for this, they'd make it through. Out of instinct to calm both him and herself down Miziki hugged him, "It'll be okay Kito. We'll make it through this. Even if those guys abandoned us we can survive it we all stick together." She told him reassuringly.

Vinny

As he saw the girl dying, he instinctivly turned away, and buried his head into Jesse's shirt. He didn't actually touch her, but his tears might have soaked through. He stopped soon, but continued sniffeling. Then, when he heard Kito throwing up, he began crying again. He was still just a kid, after all. After he had cried himself out, he looked up at Jesse. "They don't care about us at all, do they?" He did some thinking. "I think.....I think you're right. No one's coming to save me. I'm sorry I talked about it earlier..." He then leaned into her again, just waiting to be pushed off of her.

When Vinny started balling, Jesse had no choice but to get up and look towards where the commotion was coming from. She didn't expect to find that the source was a bloodied cloud of seawater just off the shore, but she wasn't exactly surprised.


"Bloody hell!" She hissed while watching as the deep crimson water billowed in a dark cloud, sharply contrasting with the green-blue waves. A chunk of flesh drifted against a nearby rock before it was snapped up by one of the circling gulls.


Jesse hadn't even noticed the little boy as he buried his head into her shirt until he stopped to apologize. She looked down at him. "Get yourself together!" She snapped. "What are you, two years old? Crying is the thing weak people do; useless. Crying out for mommy and daddy won't solve anything and it sure as hell won't get you off this bloody island. You have to do something if you want to survive!"


This was not something a kid should see and she felt a pang of sympathy for the boy, but it didn't matter anymore. The world of soft mattresses and packaged food was gone... now he would have to face the real face of the world. He would have to survive.


Firmly, but not roughly, Jesse pried the boy's arms from her shirt and pointed to where Kito was. "First of all we need to find out what happened. And I would wager it has something to do with Dragonballs over there."


She glanced down at the boy momentarily, as if she were about to ask him to accompany her, before she thought against it and stalked off towards Kito and the Fox-girl.


"What the hell is going on?" She growled when she came up behind Kito. "Decide to go berserk on another innocent?" Her grey eyes held icy contempt as they glared towards the dragon shifter.

Kito continued to stare at the gruesome scene. That was, until Jesse came up to him and tried to blame this on him. "Innocent is not the word I'd use if I was describing you." Kito said in an almost freezing tone. It was just insane to see a person die in such a brutal way. He had no way to react other than to stare out at the scene.

Ivory neared the commotion. Sighing under her breath at the accusations going around she moved closer to inspect probably being one of the only ones able to stomach torn flesh like this. Her face was set in a firm scowl, "no dragon did this, markings are too small." She said pointing a metal finger at the lump of flesh with a bite taken out of it, "that is an animal..."


Cocking her head Ivory thought for a long moment before glancing at the people who had probably never seen her before, apart from Vinny and Jesse of course. "They're testing out abilities, want to see what was a failure and what was a success."

Jesse laughed bitterly at Kito's comment on her innocence. He had a point. "I guess I agree with you on at least one thing. But you didn't answer my question..."


He tried to kill me... why not another?


Then Miziki spoke up... just hearing her voice was as if a bird had begun to peck at her head repeatedly.


"He did nothing?" Jesse growled in disbelief while walking up to look at the fox-girl directly into her eyes. She pointed towards Kito with an angry look in her eyes. "Your boyfriend here tried to kill me! I don't know if you are blind or just stupid but he went for the kill. He would have bit off my head without a second thought if I hadn't ripped my own arm to shreds to prevent it! He is a monster who cannot control himself!"





She looked about ready to strangle the fox hybrid whenever Mrs. Universe decided to join in the conversation and point out the chunk of flesh with a bite mark on it. It didn't look like the size of Kito's fangs, she could say that from her experience in trying to keep those teeth away from her face. The cause was most likely a shark, though she would have to get closer to see if the bite had two rows of teeth.


After glancing at the bloody mass her eyes returned back to Miziki with one last glare that could curdle milk, before turning away.


"I don't know about you sheep, but if any of those lab-coats or their dogs show up, they are going to end up like that stupid fool floating in the water. I am not going back."


She crossed her arms against her chest and glowered at the cyborg girl.

Ivory straightened up and sighed it was a prolonged shallow noise and she topped it with a dark scowl, "you're preaching to others about manning up yet you your self act like a bratty teenager." She rolled her eyes, "holding grudges it what kids do you daft cow." Ivory shoved her hands into her pockets, "I understand you hatred for the guys in the white lab coats but him," the half blind girl pointed a thumb at Kito, "it's stupid to hold a grudge against him." She sifted from one food to the other, "you need to realise that out here you need each other. We all need each other so man up and start acting like a team."

Sucks to be Jesse trying to intimidate her, her glares did pretty much nothing considering Miziki was basically blind. Was Jesse seriously trying to blame Kito for the fight? Something she started? Sure, Kito went overboard. But she attacked him first. That honestly set the normally quiet girl off. Where did she get off blaming others for anything? Especially something she caused. At that point she stood up glaring at her. She completely ignored Ivory's speech towards Jesse. They didn't need Jesse, she'd only end up getting them all killed. "He is not my boyfriend! And that's aside the point! Yeah, so what, I am blind. Make fun of me, I don't care. But you do not get the right to blame any of us for anything! You started the fight! Not Kito. You hit him first, he gave you plenty warning to back off, yet you persisted to antagonize him for no reason whatsoever." She shouted at her, completely pissed off at this point.


"You caused the fight, you caused him to lose control. You caused everything! You caused us to be put through hell, and you even caused this! All because your whiny ass couldn't cope with something everyone was being put through and instead took it out on Kito who was doing nothing but trying to be nice to you. I hate you! I wish it was you that was floating in the water dead! I wish you hadn't even survived your experiment! If you're going to do nothing but antagonize us and blame us just LEAVE! No one wants you here!" She half debated hitting her, but restrained herself. Her face portrayed nothing but anger and hate for Jesse. The bigger girl could probably beat her into the ground if she wanted to, but the fact of the matter was she didn't care, and fully expected it.

Sure, Kito went overboard. But she attacked him first. That honestly set the normally quiet girl off. Where did she get off blaming others for anything? Especially something she caused. At that point she stood up glaring at her. She completely ignored Ivory's speech towards Jesse. They didn't need Jesse, she'd only end up getting them all killed. "He is not my boyfriend! And that's aside the point! Yeah, so what, I am blind. Make fun of me, I don't care. But you do not get the right to blame any of us for anything! You started the fight! Not Kito. You hit him first, he gave you plenty warning to back off, yet you persisted to antagonize him for no reason whatsoever." She shouted at her, completely pissed off at this point.


"You caused the fight, you caused him to lose control. You caused everything! You caused us to be put through hell, and you even caused this! All because your whiny ass couldn't cope with something everyone was being put through and instead took it out on Kito who was doing nothing but trying to be nice to you. I hate you! I wish it was you that was floating in the water dead! I wish you hadn't even survived your experiment! If you're going to do nothing but antagonize us and blame us just LEAVE! No one wants you here!" She half debated hitting her, but restrained herself. Her face portrayed nothing but anger and hate for Jesse. The bigger girl could probably beat her into the ground if she wanted to, but the fact of the matter was she didn't care, and fully expected it.

Ivory looked at the blind girl with curiosity and kindly placed a hand on her shoulder, "please, calm down your words won't affect her." The scarred girl had a surprisingly calm comforting voice that clashed with her blank emotionless and in seeing expression. "We're stuck out here, so the best we can do is work together. If Jesse wishes to stay on the group that is her choice, but we'd honestly all be happier if she didn't," Ivory looked at the tattooed girl, "but she likely to be more dangerous to us away from the group."

"Excuse me, robo-girl, but this freak tried to murder me! I don't think that is something you shake off easily. Do you expect me to just say 'yeah man, no hard feelings for trying to maul my face off.' maybe even hug it out like nothing happened?" Jesse snarled. "I wouldn't expect you to understand, considering you are barely human anymore!" Both of her hands were balled tightly into fists, causing her wounded arm to hurt again. The pain only added to her anger.





"As for you, Mrs. 'bitch in every aspect of the term' ..." she said, rounding on the girl. "I guess I'm the one who also shoved that stupid tail up your ass, huh?" Jesse was just fuming at this point, and her breathing had become heavy.


Then she said that she would rather Jesse be the one floating in a soup of body parts. It was something she had heard before, though the memory was somewhere on the other side of a wall.

In her fury she didn't even hear Ivory's words...


Ignoring the pain it caused her, Jesse roared in rage and lunged for Miziki with a fist aimed at the fox-girl's face. The wounds were making her slower than normal, and the blow could be stopped if one was fast enough to dodge it or strong enough to hold her back.

Ivory's eyes darkened and she turned her attention to the charging girl. Shoving the other completely blind girl behind her Ivoru met Jesse head on, she grabbed the girls fist and swung her metal leg über the tattoos girls, spraying sand every where and knocking her flat on her ass. "Like I said learn how to fight." She then reached down and lifted the girl by the front of her shirt, "I've been nice to you so far, but your a pain in the ass no wonder he tried to kill you."

Miziki looked up to Ivory in silence as she spoke to her, then looked back to Jesse. How could Jesse be useful? At all? To anyone? She put them here! Miziki was fully convinced at this point that the entire situation was her fault! But, she guessed Ivory was right. Jesse didn't care, she couldn't see beyond playing the victim when she's the one that did everything. Despite Jesse continuing to insult her, Ivory was helping her calm down, and she was about to agree. "I guess you're ri-" She began to reply, being quickly interrupted by Ivory protecting her from Jesse attacking her. Seriously? Did she attack her for not even hitting her? She watched the scene unfold, a small smile playing on her lips as Ivory kicked her butt. She stayed silent, though she couldn't help but feel happy that she had someone on her side.

To make matters worse her bad leg was the one that received the blunt of the strike and the one she landed on. She could not help but cry out in pain as an invisible steel spike was shoved into her leg. Then the dizziness returned, made even more prominent from the heat and exhaustion of trying to fight with fox-girl. By now she was running on anger and adrenaline, but she had grown used to that from the labs.


A hand reached down from the fuzzy scene to grasp her by the shirt and hoist her up from the sands like a battered pinata. Unfortunately her vision sharpened enough to reveal Ivory's angelic features as Jesse struggled against the cyborg's iron grip before settling to glare into that one functional eye.


She spat to the side. "Go on then. If I'm the cause of all of your pains than just kill me now. I'm the bad-guy, right?"

Vinny

Vinny had tagged along behind Jesse, and had watched everything silently. Until now. Until people, from his perspective, started trying to actually kill each other. He had begun crying again, and was about to run away from the fight, but then thought better of it. He spoke quietly at first, but then got louder and louder. "Stop. Please just stop fighting. If you all kill each other, how will we survive? What is wrong with you all? The fight doesn't matter, we're stuck here now, and we can't change what's already happened." As he spoke, he clenched his fists, and was slowly turning whiter and whiter. When Ivory grabbed Jesse he screamed, and ran off into the forest.

Ivory was completely silent for a very long time but finally she spoke, "I'm not spineless like you, killing you would be pointless." She hissed quietly before dropping the girl on the floor. She then looked up slowly and watched Vinny run off into the woods, suddenly something in her head clicked...the body in the water...animal bite marks...


"Shit." She mumbled under her breath, "what killed the person in the water...is in the forest." When no one made a move to go after the boy when she looked at them Ivory decided to do it herself. She broke out into a sprint.
