Maria walked into The Forest of Beyond gazing at the beauty. "Wow! Who knew The Forest of Beyond would be so beautiful!" Maria shouted, her voice echoing through the walls.

I need to know whats real.
Stasis creeped into the forest, keeping on his mask just in case. He had to find food. Fast. He climbed into a tree and waited for prey to come across, hopefully a deer to bring back some nostalgia. (I'll let you decide if anything does)

Odstarva could smell the blood running through her veins, human kind being his favorite "past-time" however, in a passing moment of his years as a plague doctor, he couldn't bring himself to pounce immediately, so he lodged his clawed gloves into the bark of the tree and unsteadily dragged down before approaching her and stopping at a considerable distance, "What are you doing it the forest, girl?"

Evangeline approached the forest slowly. Gazing at the trees longingly. She'd always wanted to visit a forest, but now it just seemed so different. She sighed, it wasn't like she had anything better to do. She took a deep breath and finally stepped inside. It truly was a beautiful place... A little dry for her tastes, but beautiful regardless. She continued walking, paying little mind to anything save for the scenery. She soon spoted several people in the distance and slowed to a stop. She carefully crept forward, trying to not to be noticed as she apporached.

His head tilted in slight confusion before asking back, "Have you never seen a doctor's attire before? I am here because the plague of the cities has been subdued," More whimsically, "And I'm afraid there's no place for the likes of me in the civilized world" H sounded older than the face behind the bird mask. He could not sense the siren, for they were not known by his kin.

Evangeline jumped, suprised at being notice by them. She frowned and walked out of the trees towards them. "I- I uh... I'm sorry for listening in. I really didn't mean to- It was just I didn't expect to see anyone in here." She stuttere, blushing darkly.

He found himself slightly irritated by the fact that he had not sensed her, but more so worried about himself keeping his impulses in check. He took a calm breath and added to both of them, "Nomatter, you both should leave this place, it is much to dangerous for you to be passing through it girls." Turning away he added, "I shall escort you to the road."

Evangeline frowned and glanced over at the guy. "I think we can handle ourselves, thank you though." She frowned and turned towards the girl, "Uh, sure... Who is he anyways?" She muttered before took the other girls hand. "Pardon me is this seems a little rude but what are you?" She asked the man, he wasn't human but she hadn't seen anything like him before

"Evangeline..." She lowered her voice, "He seems like he could be useful, why haven't you asked him to be your ally?" She glanced at Maria, wondering if she could do much at all. "I mean we'll need all the allies we can get, right?"

He looked at both his sides in a clear panic before pointing at himself, "Me? No, you don't want to ally with a plague doctor. A cursed one at that." He was suggesting that he was merely a cursed human under the bird mask, which he hoped would convince them. It was customary for plague doctors and cursed alike to never join social ranks due to their standings, so he was surprised they asked.

She glanced over at Maria and pursed her lips. She wasn't just going to give up, "Besides wouldn't you get lonely eventually?"

She had no clue. Good. However, he needed to find away to convince her otherwise, and so he pulled the fear factor card that plague doctors had in the cities he had passed through, being partially honest, "Trust me, the bond of our kind is dea-" New blood, he looked past the girls and salivated at the sight of a fox, thank goodness under a mask. He said half friendly, half predatory, "It looks like we have a new friend joining us."
