Fantasy The Final Battle


Roc

Roc was a lot more different. Having to would never use cheap tactics such as provoking a human to go on the offensive just to satisfy him, making him the only demon that have yet to kill a human; before or after the order. Instead focusing on the angels.

When a roar boomed nearby, he scanned the area for its source and it came from the beast Abaddon who was charging at two archangels. On it is none other than Bezaliel but he wasn't on it but actually the beast's shadow barking orders at him, unfortunately before it could come close into fighting range. The two archangels restrained it, stopping it in its tracks.

"Bezaliel! You fool! Don't be a show off and attack an archangel. One is fine! But two is stupid!"he growled knowing he'd hear and called out:"Ifrit! Come and assist me in bringing these foreigners down!"




In a split second, the earth beside Abaddon cracked open and spewed fire out. Ifrit used its claws to cut at the purple strings that held the other beast. Roc appeared a moment later with a red bladed greatsword in his hands.

The twins hissed as they saw the binds being broken, they then glared at the demons and it's pet that just arrived.


"Insolent fool" They both screamed in unison. The twins then looked at each other and nodded. Out of nowhere their pets appeared, Athena and Aries, both at the side of their masters.


"Two can play at that game" They both hissed in unison

Going down more stairs, the stone walls were being replaced by elegant wall tiles. And on the right side of the room inside this cave seemed to be an ancient painting of sorts. Three figures, one covered in light and holy powers, the other was dark... and shown being surrounded by fire in it's wake. The middle figure how ever, is a lone figure holding what seems to be a pendent. But what this pendent was, Minerva had no idea.


Looking at the way to progress, it seems to be another gate in Minerva's path. But... this gate doesn't show any signs of wear or rust. And like the last gate before it, lies a writing on it's side. "Only those of twilight shall receive the gift...." It read on the wall.


"Twilight... twilight... does it mean become light, and dark at the same time?" Minerva thought as she stood on a pedestal. "A spirit of a demon... and an angel... fine. I'll give it a shot." Minerva focuses her entire body, to merge her angel spirit with her demon spirit. Though... it was getting quite taxing on her body, and the spirits where struggling with each others. But after holding on for two straight minutes, the gate opens up. Despite panting from the quite taxing experience, Minerva pushes onward in to the room, which holds a sliver pendent.


She looks examines the pendent closely, and to her surprises, there was nothing out of the ordinary about it. "Why hide something like this? I just... don't understand." Minerva says out loud as she puts the pendent in her pocket. With everything said and done, she makes her way out of the cave of which her masters spoke of.
 
Despedir walked along the sea shore, still hearing the shadow's pet roar. He felt the ground shaking lightly. He thought of the powers of both good and evil, of Order and Freedom.


"Hello mister." A sweet alluring voice called the general. "The sea wont stop shaking. I can hear the cries of so many creatures. The sky is bleeding red. Flying creatures all over are disturbing the peace. Has she come back?"





"The Queen has returned." This was all he replied. He continued walking, he cannot be distracted.





"Oh… men are on their ships in the sea. My sisters and I never had a buffet before." She licked her lips stained with blood.





"I'm certain my queen would extend her thanks." He replied again. Still walking towards his destination.





"Are you going to kill her followers from the sea? Why are you here? We've been loyal to her." The mermaid hissed. She realized that her voice had no effect on him.





"I'm not here for you. I'm here for him." He walked towards the shore. The water touching him evaporated, smoke rising to the heavens. He continued walking down to the depths of the earth, where the sleeping beast rests.

Cassia looked in his general direction, tipping her head to one side curiously. "Can an Archangel of Justice not go where she pleases?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She stepped forward, dangerously close to the edge, teetering forward a little. The girl would've fallen had her wolf not ground its teeth into her cloak, pulling her back onto safe ground. Millenia since she'd been around, and yet the Archangel was still horrible at being blind.


She gestured to Ollie. "I'm bringing this human to the church, though it's terribly far. Would you two like my assistance in clearing the cities?"





 





Malthael, Archangel of Hope


"Of course. You may go wherever you please milady. Apologies if my question had upset you," He said as he expressed his sincere apologies. He then look at the human that was with her. "Why to the church? If you seek sanctuary, there is a human refugee camp near this city."





He then turned to face his troops who had by then already settled down and were prepared for the next battle. "If you have no further duties than your assistance will be greatly appreciated. We are going to a city north of here. Reports suggest that a Demon Lord is there."

"This Human you have with you. Why didnt he flee when the city evacuated?" He asked as he flew over to the two. The Holy light that had surrounded him during battle slowly returning to his body. He was curious about the Human. Why would a human be in a demon infested city. It was odd and suspicious. He moved closer to the human to examine him placing a hand on his shoulder. @Uxie @MrPotato @GLaDforYou
 
Pride had left Greed to do what he wanted, even killing humans. He entered a half destroyed building and entered a room. The television was still working but badly and he couldn't understand what it was saying. He sits on the couch and grabs a journal and he starts reading it. He decides to talk with Lust by mind Come Lust. This is Pride. I am at an old and destroyed building. I am sure you can find me. I'll be waiting. Don't take too long he tells her by mind with a cold tone. He keeps reading the piece of paper waiting for her.

Myra pulled away from the fallen angel. She took her dagger and her tail. She panted and her heart raced. Pride.








"That was really fun, love, but I have to go!" She winked playfully and flew away. Lust flew in the direction of Pride's call and found him. She landed in front of the door and knocked. She didn't want to be rude.

Pride sighs and says loud enough for her to hear "The door is open sister. You can come" he says with a normal tone. HE didn't look as angry as before but with Pride you could never tell. His attencion goes back to the journal and he starts reading it again, waiting for her to enter. He wondered what she was doing before him calling her.

He sighs and doesn't look at her "Not really. What about you? Did you miss any of your brothers, or you already found another creature to have fun with?" he asks, not really caring for her answer. He knew he couldn't control her lust as no one could control his pride. It was impossible, but he still tried.

Lust pouted and leaned on her brother's arm.


"Of course I missed you all!" She let out a small smile. "And I was having fun with a fallen angel before you called. I had his sword in my tail. It was fun!"





Lust hugged his arm a bit. "Why'd you call me, Pride?"

He sighs and moves a bit to the side so their bodies aren't touching "Lust, you know that if you kill alot of people, angels will come and kill you. And not angels of low ranks but of high ones. Archangels or worst" he says "What I wanted to say is that you should now be always with someone who is your brother. And you have to be with Sloth, me, Greed or Wrath. Envy and Gluttony don't count since they wouldn't try to stop you if you went on a rampage. Is that clear?" he asks still looking at the journal.

he lets the journal fall and looks at her "War? What do you think it will happen to us if all humans die Lust? Remember... our bodies come from humans. You are different since you are a demon but your brothers are all from humans. If you really like your brothers and you don't just want them to have fun in bed, I suggest you low your killing spree, so we won't die due to not have any bodies to possess left" he says with a cold tone. His eyes were pure red and would show how angry he was. It would be very difficult to calm him down but it was possible.

Lust stared at his eyes and shut her mouth. She stopped smiling. She nodded her head, never leaving his gaze.


"I'll always be with one of my brothers and I wont go on rampages." She said, barely a whisper. She hated angering Pride. It scared her. "I'll be obedient." She promised.

He sighs and puts his hand on her cheek and kisses her forehead "Don't fear me. Respect me." he says with a smile "That is how I work as a leader. I don't put fear into you but I teach you how to respect me" he says with a smile "And that is good" he says "Now as a reward for being smart and good I will give you something that you want like we used to do when we were kids" he says with a sweet smile. Pride could be cold and evil but he could switch into a kind person quickly.

"Well you can decide what you want" he says with another smile "It can be anything as long as it is impossible to get or very difficult" he says looking at her and putting an arm around her shoulders. He was smiling at her

He sighs. Of course he knew what Lust always wanted but he hoped she would choose something different. He tried to make his brothers and sister more than what their names say but it was rather difficult "Very well. You sure that is what you want?" he says looking at her.
