Fantasy The Final Battle

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

Giving the last of his orders to the angelic troops, he flew back and returned to Gavreel's side.

"My lord, the remaining demons have been eliminated and we have gathered all the survivors in a refugee camp. I've directed half of the host to guard the camp while the other half patrols the city. The fires will soon douse each other off. Do you have any further orders my lord?" He reported to Gavreel.

@Wickedkent

Gavreel Astia

Gavreel looked at him and smiled

"You need not to guard the camp, as the human army is still at large and the demons cannot harm them" He said "Go to the other nearby cities, as they are under siege by the demons"

Elanoron had arrived at the next city landing in the center of the city in the midst of the demons. The light illuminating his body burned a few of the demons around him as he landed smiling at the sight of the lesser demons and he held his arms up to the sky as light shone down from the heavans onto him as he drew The Holy sword of light from its sheathe as a Sword made from holdy light appeared in his other hand and he said "Shall we get this started?" He said to the demons that surrounded him before he dashed forward into them cutting at them with elegant strikes

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

"As you command your majesty. I will set a campaign across this region and defend the neighbouring cities." His head gave a polite bow before returning to the ground. He gathered the Silver Legion and sent the previous angels that had first fought back to Heaven.

Without any hesitation, he quickly set off to the next city and began to lay siege on the demonic forces that has now entrenched themselves in the city. A short exchange of orders had sent the Silver Legion attacking towards the city centre from north, east, south and west. Malthael's eyes than laid upon a familiar figure laying waste to the demonic forces at the town centre.

He landed near Elanoron and summoned his Infinity Buster.
"Greetings sir Elanaron. Enjoying yourself this fine afternoon?" He asked with a friendly tone that is also infused with respect as he fought back the demons.

@Wickedkent @ThatOneLunatic

Elanoron smiled at his arrival just after he had burned a few of the demons to the ground with his Holy light and he said "Fun? Of course this is the most fun I've had in a century!" He leaps into another crowd of them and as he lands a burst of holy light incinerates the lesser demons and he looks to Malthael "I wonder why there arent any high ranking demons here.....shouldnt they be leading this defense?" @MrPotato

Cassiel

Archangel of Justice, Balance, Foresight

location: ???? town

mentioned:
@GLaDforYou(heads up, she's actually a young girl)

Cassia stared right back in his general direction, unable to pinpoint exactly where his eyes were. She hopped from the fence and landed gracefully on two feet, and tilted her head up to observe the sky. "If you would count the Armageddon a holiday." Her voice held no tone of amusement, and she glance down at him again.

She blinked as he let down his sword, and took a step forward, immediately irritated by the height difference. If only she didn't love taking the form of a young girl so much. The soft swear did not come unheard to her, and Cassia shook her head. "Don't swear. It's a sin." The angel whispered something and suddenly Ashvant was with her, growling at the man. Her paled eyes made contact with Ollie's own brown ones, and she searched his mind, soul, judging his entire existence and all it had been.

Ashvant came close, sniffed him before returning and laying down at her feet. Cassia stroked him once behind his ear, then turning to the man once again. "It seems you are worth saving. Feel appreciative of your younger self owning up to eating that cake. Do follow me if you value your life." With that, she leapt on the fence before jumping on the rooftop, breaking into a light sprint over the roof tiles.

Ollie stared after the girl and her strange pet. The cake? How the hell did she know about the cake?

"Wait." Ollie called. "What about the kids? You know, homeless, orphaned. They don't have family to go with? Where are they?"

Ollie began jogging slightly after the girl on the rooftops. "Last time I take a nap mid morning." He muttered to himself.

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

"Yes, you are right. There are no higher ranked demons here and the defenses are unorganized and tattered. I would assume the high ranked demon lords would have fled with the Demon Queen back to Hell." He said as he continue to fight against the surrounding demons.

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

"I couldn't agree more." As they continue to fight, the Silver Legion had finally arrived at the town centre, successfully clearing out the other demonic forces on their way here. There were unfortunately very few humans to save as most of them had been killed and feasted on.

She halted suddenly at his question, turning around and regarding him with her strange eyes. "Children? I haven't sensed them, though if you were to know where they are, you're welcome to evacuate them as well." Her gaze swept away form him, towards the sky again, seemingly on an angel flying by. "The others should have evacuated them." Waving a hand dismissively, Cassia broke into her light run again, leaping swiftly from one rooftop to the next.

"We might as well bring you to the church. It's the nearest holy place, or at least one that I can sense." She wrinkled her nose. It was still pretty far, though this church had already been ravaged by demons. The priest was probably dead or gone.

Ashvant suddenly let out a growl, and the Archangel's pale eyes shifted to the ground level. The wolf sensed demons, very close by.

And a few holy presences, but that didn't really matter.

From her aerial position, she couldn't see much anyways, but she could feel the hordes of demons, and the two pure auras, now joined by a few more. "Elanoron and Malthael. Curious meeting them here. The silver legion too. Those demons don't stand much of a chance even if if I stand my ground." she said under her breath.

A loud screech filled the air, and a demon readied it self to pounce on Malthael's back. The screech was silenced in a split-second, and suddenly there was a gun in Cassia's hand, the tip smoking lightly. "Boom, headshot. You're welcome, Malt."

Beelzebub sat at the center of hell. Namastre was breathing his dying breath. Wrapped in grief and pain, she screamed. She let out the anger and the rage within her. She was engulfed with fire, and so was the dragon, slowly turning him into dust.

She opened her eyes, staring at the chunk of land that was hell.

"Dear Brother. Have you no love left for me? Have you no care left in your cold unfeeling heart. You chose man over me… you chose dirt and ash over your own flesh and blood!"

She raged, her voice echoing in the valley of death.

"You did this to me."

She whispered to the wind.

"Do you like what I've become? Do you see what you turned me into?"

She laughed, letting her madness spill out.

"Oh how I missed you, brother. And you greet me with your angels when I was all alone. Cowardly, as always."

She smiled and drew on the rust and sulfur.

"Two can play that game."

(Than touch them now. The juicy human cities are awaiting your tummy. *smiles sheepishly* > :)

Myra flew alone, she didn't go with her brothers. She didn't go with the wolf either. She was alone, slaughtering the angels and their ranks. Occasionally she'd kill a human who opposes her, as her queen allowed. But mostly, she was at war. Her tail, slashing their wings, her dagger, piercing their holiness, making sure they rest in pieces. She fought alone and held her stand. She wasn't crowned and given the dagger for nothing. She was a skilled fighter, and not just a pretty face, blessed with the Lust of the queen. It was her title, after all. And it was an honor that she held.

"All for the Queen." She whispered as she slaughtered the last Angel in the ranks. She panted lightly, covered in the blood of the holy.

Elanoron had seen the shot go off and smiled looking to Cassiel before eradicating a few more of the lesser demons with his Sword of light and his Sword made from holy light before the sword made from light would burst in his hands killing a few demons but leaving him with a single sword. It was obvious he hadnt intended for that and that the blade had just been overcome with darkness

Despedir marched alone. Bow at hand, from the ground he shot demonic arrows at everything he saw that flew in the air. He breathed in and out, slowly. Completely calm and composed.

He wandered into a town. He looked for the church… he entered it and found people praying to Gavreel. He tsked. Tall and proudly, he marched towards the altar, sword at hand. He cut the statue down. He stepped on the pieces, grinding it to dust.

"Demon!" He felt a sword try and pierce his armor, but the sword melted. Despedir looked back, seeing the fear in the eyes of the man.

"My Queen has allowed me to slaughter all who attacks a demon first." He reached out to grab the neck of the pitiful man. In an instant, he crushed his skull. "Her will is all I live for. All for the Queen."

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

Malthael did not see the demon behind him until he heard a gunshot went off along with a thud. He turned only to see a big hole in the head of a dead demon. He looked up and saw Cassiel. He made a mental note to himself to thank her later. He would have offered a smile of thanks if it weren't for his expressionless face.

Within moments, the town centre had been cleared and the demons that had resided in the city only moments ago were either dead or had fled. The Silver Legion gathered at the town centre and awaited his orders. Malthael gave them a moment of rest as the Infinity Buster vanished from his hands.
"What an active day we've had. This city is safe for now but there are more cities to clear. Will you be joining us Sir Elanoron?"

"I go whereever the light needs help conquering the darkness." He would say smiling. It was his duty to keep the Holy light shining and to illuminate all the darkness with the holy light. He then said "I guess I can tag along for now." @MrPotato @Uxie

She talk to one of the street vendors in the village, and they gave her bread for her travels. "Thank you" She take out some of her gold pieces, and hands it to the vendor. Thus, she continue on with her travels, leaving the small village behind her. Now back on the dirt path, Minerva takes a bite out of her bread, chewing it as she continues on her wandering.

"Hmmm... wait a minute... maybe I do know where to go next." Minerva says out loud. "I could go to that place... yeah. I could!" Minerva remember talk from her masters that there was a cave out in the mountains. Though she doesn't know what lies in that cave, it's a better option than just wandering around all day with no aim or reason. So, with a new objective in mind, Minerva walks off the dirt path, and heads right to some mountains in the distance.

Gavreel Astia

Gavreel sighed and spread his wings, He then flew up towards heaven, As he was about to enter it, he looked at earth and frowned.

"I will return when you return, Zel" He said with a stern face then heavens closed

Malthael, Archangel of Hope

"Splendid. It seems our campaign will end quicker with you at our side." He said to Elanoron. He than turned his head to Cassiel.

"Lady Cassiel. What brings you here?" He shouted over to her.

@ThatOneLunatic @Uxie

Going right seems to be a good route to take towards the mountains, since Minerva is going through some woods once again. Which could provide her cover from any unwanted presences from eyeing her from above, such as demons or angels. Minerva kept looking straight forward, not trying to lose her sense of direction when heading towards the mountains. She lays her left hand on Braveheart, just in case she gets surprise attack.

"Nothing like a calming stroll though the woods to get my mind wandering about... ah... so peaceful..." There was an honest smile plastered on Minerva's face, she was honestly happy. This journey towards the mountains is going to be a pleasant one for sure. The creatures of the woods were running about ignoring Minerva as they go about their lives.

Zedekiel

Zedekiel kept flying in between towns. As angels seemed to be taking care of any large group of demons, and Demons seemed to be focusing more on killing angels than harassing Humans. They didn't have the time to do that with Angels attacking them, after all.

Still, when on small isolated locations, it wasn't hard to see a Demon taunting a Human into attacking it... then slaying the Human in a pure act of self-defense. There were, however, also those Demons outside of Beelzebub's control.

However few they were, however weak, however strong. Regardless of their number, Zedekiel came to them and found them. Which is remarkably easy when they don't pay much attention to the Archangel, lacking a strong holy and unholy aura, has its strong points. (And lots of weak ones, such as not being resistant to either...)

After finding a small Human procession, fleeing from a few demons. He landed in the middle of them, no crater left behind. He opened his black feathered wings widely as he spoke with the Demons. Who luckly enough paused to listen to him, the Humans too, but they were more in shock than anything.

"Have you ever thought on the reason for the Queen of Hell to give orders for Demons to not attack Humans unless harmed first!?" Of course, he had to make a dramatic pause, making a more stern serious face, "I, Zedekiel, am that reason! And in her name, all of you are to be slain!" And thus he brought them a merciful quick end... except for a few. Survivors are needed to spread words that way.

He turned towards the humans, a soft smile appeared on his face. Nothing that helped them feel more at ease, even if the being in front of them had saved them, the creature was certainly not Holy. His smiled never disappeared as he helped a man that had his arm mangled to stand. The wounds on the man disappearing as his own arm became bloody.

"There are safe camps in the north. Though a city was destroyed, the kingdom's army is still strong and can keep you safe... but spread word to not attack demons first. For now, they can only retaliate against Humanity. The angels are also around, don't worry." Even before he finished his words, the wound in his arm was gone. As long as there wasn't too much light or darkness, he would recover quickly enough... There was always too much of one, the other or both.

Giving no more words to the people, he flew away as quickly as possible. This may have been a bit too little... but if I didn't let some Demons go, there would end up being no rumors about myself. He sighed, Yes, yes... this was required... At least, this way these Humans can find their way to safety and the Demons who don't follow her orders might refrain from attacking Humans.

As the queen was drawing her marks, her ghastly shadow was begin to distort itself. Slowly, a black, spindly arm emerged from the silhouette, followed by the rest of an inky-colored "body." Bezaliel had heard the cries of his master from inside the safety of her shadow, and had responded to the echoing of her soul. Bezaliel looked upon the dust patch that was the dragon Namastre ran a thin, bony, black hand through it. Then he turned his attention towards his Queen.

Shifting his own body mass, he extended himself, wrapping his body around Queen Zel affectionately, hissing softly. Seeing the summoning symbols, he nodded his "head" furiously, and began to speak, despite his lack of any distinguishable facial features.

We are forsaken, Mother Queen, Bezaliel began, his soft, gentle, almost feminine voice speaking inside the mind of the queen. Gavreel has always been jealous of the superiority of the Darkness...he hides behind his armies, he knows you are the stronger of the two, and you always have been...truly his greatest fear...is you...

Bezaliel looked back at the ashes of the fallen dragon again, whispering,
Indeed, not since thee days when Light and Darkness were One have we every truly been unified, Brother Gavreel is blinded by the Light...

However, we must remain intact. Soon we will have Gavreel bowing before us, and revenge will be ours...the ashes of Heaven will be the soil of the Earth...OUR Earth...Queen Beelzebub's Earth...If the humans and the angels don't fear the Queen and her armies, perhaps they will fear her Shadow.

With that, the room glowed with an eerie light coming from the markings. Bezaliel cowered briefly, until he saw the monster that had appeared...

The creature resembled a dragon, but it was no dragon. Excitedly, Bezaliel flew to the creature and began to pet it.

What is your will, Mother Queen?
