Kai took out his spell tome and showed her the arcane explosion spell he was attempting. "You see I used too much energy and it randomly placed the explosion, causing me to fly into the air all the way to here." Kai wiped off the blood on his cheek and sat down in the sand. "Magic has never really been my strong point, I rather keep to weaponry. Enough about me though. It's nice to meet you Toru."

As she Nuzzled into him, she clinged onto his shirt as she began to drift off a bit.

"Its a long story... but to sum it all up... I dated a guy... got engaged... my brothers kicked me out...he cheated on me... and now I'm here with nothing" she says and shrugs.

"Its a long story... but to sum it all up... I dated a guy... got engaged... my brothers kicked me out...he cheated on me... and now I'm here with nothing" she says and shrugs.

Kai got up and took a deep breath and put away his spell tome before speaking. "Do you have a place to stay? If not you can stay at my apartment as long as you want. Nobody should be without a roof over their head." Even though I just met her I know how it feels to be without a place to call home. It would be nice to have company though, it's not like I have many friends so why not make a start. Kai held out his hand and had a serious look on his face. He wouldn't take no for an answer if she didn't have a place to stay.
