The man laughed. "You really thought you stood a chance against me? That's funny. It's time your mother became what she was meant to become. You must come to accept that." He said as he squeezed her neck tighter.

Autumn's body felt cold as he squeezed tighter, "Stand a chance? I think I'm doing perfectly fine." Her voice came from behind him as she spoke. The Autumn in his hands was simply an ice clone and the real one was one the ceiling. Autumn pushed herself off as an electric attack surged through her blade and she slashed at him repeatedly when she got close enough.

Everest grinned and patted her on the head befor saying "Don't worry, I'm just teasing you. If you don't want to call this a date, then we won't. But off of that note, why don't we get our burgers, because I keep seeing people order them and they look really good."

"Thank you~" Ayame smiled and sighed in relief, glad that she was being teased and this wasn't a real date. "Yeah, maybe you're right. They're only making me hungrier."

After walking back to Ayame with the food he passed her a burger before asking, "so what's being hungry like anyway? I don't actually need food, so I've never been hungry before, I just eat food because it tastes good..."

Everest laughed before saying, "I know people can die from it silly, it's not that I don't know what hunger is, I just wanted to know what it felt like. The reason I know I can't feel hunger after all is because I spent my first 10 years without even touching food and I was perfectly fine the entire time."
