Fantasy The Core of Power

One moment Erin was waiting for officers to cuff her and her friends and take her away, the next moment she was in a completely different setting. Dazed and disoriented did nothing to explain how she was feeling at the moment. She twisted around and immediately regretted the way too fast movement. Regaining her bearings, she looked around to see if Vittra was around as well- hunting for a glimpse of familiar blonde hair. She didn't see her... but she saw other mutants around the room. Some of them she recognized from that wonderful adventure into the sewers and some of them she did not.

Erin quickly moved to a side of the room- not wanting to be in the center of things... and yet still calling attention to herself when she called: "What is going on here?!" To anyone who would listen. "Does anyone know where we are? Why we're here?"

@Jabrark @Shog @rosamortelle @rapjack123 @Wavebird @Rook

Outbreak was pacing back and forth when other mutants entered the room. One of them remained entirely quiet. He didn't recognize him and frankly he couldn't care less. Then another mutant appeared. She spoke up, asking where they were. Outbreak remembered that voice. That girl... was in the sewers...with that government guy. He shot a crazed look of partial shock to see her. Then his face fell blank for moment, then it turned sinister. Outbreak stormed over to the girl and even sized her up. She's got to be involved with that government guy his thoughts whizzed through his mind like a hurricane.

"Where is he," he spoke, soft and deadly. "Tell me where that son of a bitch is. Choose your words wisely." He completely disregarded what anyone else was doing. His virus swirled around him like an invisible microbic tornado. Outbreak, with fury in his eyes, knew what he was looking for, and his virus was ready to deliver. He wanted government blood.

Where as Erin was expecting a reaction, she had not been expecting the guy who came storming over to her.

"Where is he. Tell me where that son of a bitch is. Choose your words wisely."

If Erin said she wasn't terrified, she'd be lying. She couldn't help the step back that she took, staring into eyes of absolute rage. Erin raised her hands in self defense- unsure how to handle the situation. Who was he.. who was this guy talking about?

"He.... who?" Erin ended up asking, for once allowing herself to look as unsure and confused as she felt. This guy was not someone she wanted to mess with... she had no object to escape into and no promise that the object would allow her a safe getaway. Could they even use their abilities in this room?

"I'm sorry." Erin added in an attempt to placate the angry guy.

Outbreak's eye twitched. His expression plunged deeper into one of insanity. "Don't play dumb with me...your government friend. Tell me where he is," he pronounced each word slowly. His virus whirlwind expanded to include the girl in its invisible fist. He drew deep, irregular breaths, and held clenched fists. "It's a simple question. That's all I want to know," he finished, his face growing ever more dark as his mind continued to become more crooked.

@RubyRose

Damion broke away from Sentinel after observing Outbreak reach his peak and threaten another poor girl taken here. Even if he wanted not to, he had not other choice. The only way to protect Outbreak now was to knock him out. Damion walked up to Outbreak silently, and gripped his left shoulder with his right hand, and expecting Outbreak to retaliate from the sudden hostility, anticipated the lash that would most likely come in a matter of seconds. Watching Outbreak's every slight move, every panicked glance, every minute twitch in preparation to take him out. With his mind impacted to this extent, his combat rationality would be flawed, if not inactive. He would take him out quickly to avoid any dangerous situations.

@rapjack123 @Shog @rosamortelle @RubyRose

Outbreak felt Damion break through his virus's whirlwind. Then he felt his hand on his shoulder. He remained utterly silent, aware that Damion was watching his every move. The room went quiet for moment. Outbreak could hear his speeding heart pumping blood rapidly through his veins. His virus stopped abruptly and remained suspended in midair. Outbreak's madness was aimed at the government guy. It didn't seem like he was there. So he had to vent all that energy somewhere, and what better person than Damion.

Suddenly, Outbreak thrust his arm up to throw Damion's hand off his shoulder and grabbed his head. Then he moved to smash it into the wall, hoping that the impact would stun him. He didn't care how many times it took, Outbreak was ready to break that shell of armor of his and get his virus inside him.

At first Erin thought she was in trouble... then she knew she was in trouble as her attacker became even more dangerous. Erin was reaching into her pocket for her lucky penny when another guy came up, placing a hand on the first guy's shoulder. The attacker became distracted... and Erin inched her way away from the two men- unsure whether to thank the new guy or if she should be wary of him coming after her next. She hadn't realized being friends with Conner, because yes- it didn't take much to figure out who the government guy she knew was- would get her into so much trouble.

"I guess I should just refrain from asking questions..." Erin decided... though she didn't know what else she was going to do in this place. There didn't seem to be a way out, which was terrifying within itself. She wondered if the two mutants were just going to fight it out... and she questioned what she could do to help the situation, though probably not much. She didn't know much about Conner besides that he worked for the government.. and his power. Though she wouldn't have told the first guy, even if he had been allowed to continue his threatening.

The people Conner was with started disappearing, though upon looking closer, Conner saw there was a girl appearing before them before they vanished. It was easy to figure that she was a mutant with an ability having to do with teleportation.

The girl appeared near him, and trying to keep his cool, he shouted,"Wait! Who are you?" His attempt at calm and collected failed spectacularly, and his panic showed clearly on his face, hand out as if he believed it would stop the individuals in uniform.

@Shog

"Ok, everyone just calm down" Sentinel said and created one long sharp point at the end of each arm. "We will get nothing accomplished if we kill each other first. If we work together we can get out of this soon enough."

(Sorry, I'm rushed so short post and no tags)

Damion was generally unimpressed with Outbreak's crude fighting style, which regressed into even more raw attacking in his broken state. His head slammed into the wall several times, despite its overall ineffectiveness against Damion, whose hair was covered in reinforced paper and acted as a shock absorbing buffer for rough impacts or attacks such as this. Once his head made contact with the wall for the seventh time, Damion grew tired of Outbreak's antics. While Outbreak brought him in close for another smash, Damion lifted his paper steel covered arm casually in the air, resembling random flailing in a panic, but when reaching the peak of forward movement, launched a practiced fist downward at lightspeed, making contact with Outbreak's nose. The overall enhanced durability of mutants prevented his nose from breaking, and considering the power Damion had put behind it, it surly came in handy. Outbreak stumbled back and Damion stood upright like nothing had happened yet. A glare of fear clouded Outbreak's eyes and his face twisted into an unstoppable anger. Even so, Outbreak's strength was limited to that of the average mutated human; Damion would win regardless of what he attempted.

Damion gave Outbreak little chance to recover from the recoil of the punch, and advanced to land another blow to Outbreak, lunging for his face, but all the while maintaining his defense. He might have been closing in for an attack, but he made sure he was prepared to evade any attacks that he could identify in time. He made sure to keep his peripherals on Sentinel, who looked like he might make his own assault to end the violence, but he most likely failed to come to the conclusion that Outbreak was far too mentally degraded to respond civilly. He would not stop until he was knocked out or removed from this environment, which could be a while depending on what Damion discovered of the room after properly evaluating it, which he had yet to proceed with.

@rapjack123 @Shog @rosamortelle @RubyRose @mikaluvkitties ...?

Asher looked at the group, laughing to himself. Fighting among themselves... pathetic. He crossed his arms over his chest, watching the fight. He definitely had to watch out for the calm mutant- he was a skilled fighter, and without his reducers, Asher didn't stand a chance. His victim seemed easy to get angry, and thus easy to defeat, as long as he could take him out early. Then, there was the guy trying to be a leader, and he was very clearly showing off his abilities. Metal, huh...? Anything could be vibrated by sound at the correct frequency.

He scratched the back of his head, deciding whether or not to stop the fight with a loud sound, or just let them kill each other. Both options seemed viable, but he didn't want to risk being labelled as an enemy. Too many mutants with unknown powers, to little space. Maybe if he could focus a frequency on a certain position... he had never tried it, although he wished he had now. Then he would have a chance of breaking the window. But if he just decided to do it, and hurt someone in the process, what would happen then? He surely wouldn't survive very long after that.

Chorus sighed, shaking his head. He should just let events play out as they were, and maybe later he could relax and quietly play some music on his violin. Anything to take his mind off of the possibility that he wouldn't be leaving this cell a free man.

(I'm not sure who I should tag for that post)

Sentinel was about to try and stop the fight when the window in the grey room light up with the face of a man in a business suit. Apparently it wasn't a window at all. "I'm sure you are all very confused as to why you have been taken to this room, but that will be covered in due time. First you need to understand something. This room has been designed to be inescapable by anyone; including mutants. The only way in and out of the room is through teleportation. You are deep under ground in a concrete box surrounded by a mixture of materials scattered so far that no power could allow you to escape. You do have a choice though. I'm sure many of you have heard of the Black Fist organization. They have funding and resources to do whatever they want against mutants and most of the time get away with it. Recent information has brought to light a disturbing revelation. They have the technology to reach the Core. What they could do with that power is unknown, and we would like to keep it that way. Tonight, most of you have shown great potential for a special project. We would like to enlist you to secretly reach and recover the core first. Should you deny, well, we have some leverage on all of you. This video chat is live, so what do you say?"

The room was silent for a moment when Sentinel first spoke up. "No. I will go, but only if Cricket and Dash don't and you promise them immunity for the duration of the trip."

The man seemed taken aback by this and looked something up. He must have been looking up files on the mutants again. "This is an odd turn of events, but I accept under one condition; you must come with us after this is all over. Oh, and Outbreak. If you do this for us we will erase all past crimes from every record in existence. You will be a free man to do as you please."

Sentinel accepted, despite Crickets pleading. He took her to the corner of the room where they might have a bit of privacy and they started whispering back and forth.

(Everyone is in the room now, so @everyone)

''Past records, huh? I'd like to test something though...Could you tell me who I am without taking my mask off? Then I'll find you more believable'' said Chain Snake ironically, although he was serious about it. He pretended to be asleep, or better said in a coma like state, mimicking Ella in a way, up to that point, so he could better analyze everything. His black mask covered his face and only his red eyes with slit pupils could be seen. Add his cold tone to the mix and he looked like some sort of demonic creature.

These people were the type he hated the most, those who have power and control people's lives however they see fit.

@Shog

Outbreak smashed Damion's head several times. Then Damion swiftly moved to hit him I'm the nose. Outbreak staggered back. He was more stunned by it than anything else. But his mental state showed anything but that. His face was etched in a wicked grin. "I'm going to tear you apart," he said, his voice raspy. Then the window lit up. Outbreak became distracted. He seemed to have snapped out of episode. He was still unstable but he leaped out of the point of insanity. His concentration was on the monitor. Outbreak walked over and sat down, assuming the interruption to the fight ended it. He rubbed his nose a bit to massage it. He didn't feel any pain from it because his virus blocked the nerves to feel pain. That's when Outbreak took full stock of the other people around him. His virus scanned the new people for any armor or protection that would keep his virus out. None...from anyone.

Then the monitor addressed him. They offered him a complete erase of his criminal record. He scoffed, rubbing his fingers on his forehead. "God...working for the government in order to get them off my ass once and for all. I can't believe I'd find myself in this situation," he tossed that thought in head several times. "Ah...why not..." he said before he laid down, staring at the ceiling with his hands behind his head to keep himself from getting a nosebleed. Then he turned his attention to Damion. The sound that his head made on the wall. That wasn't a metal that he was controlling. Also, judging by how light the particles could be, it couldn't be a heavy material. He just needed one more clue before he could figure out what it was that kept his virus out. Then he could figure out how to get in. After, he turned to Sentinel. So far, he was the only other mutant who had accepted the offer. Who was it they were trying to stop? The Black Fist? He's heard of them. From what he's heard from his connections in the sewers, they were a ruthless anti-mutants group. Probably more crude than the government when it comes to not liking mutants.

He got up, and walked over to the girl he threatened earlier. He stood next to her for moment, looking for the right words to say. "Um...I'm sorry for...what I did back there. I didn't mean to scare you. I just, uh..." he was struggling, how do you explain to someone that they threatened you because they wanted to kill someone else. "Look maybe we got off on the wrong foot," Outbreak held out his hand. "My name is Barry. You can call me Outbreak." He hoped he could amend the mistakes that a more radical version of himself made. If he was going work with these mutants, he needed to get to know them. Then he looked at the other two mutants that he did not recognize. One of them was the one working with government. Of course, he was much calmer now so he had no intention of killing him but he was weary.

(Oh. Sorry. (0_0) Got a little carried away, wasn't really thinking about it. (~.~) I was completely brain dead from an outrageous Algebra II assignment. (x_x') I write books on Wattpad so when I get carried away like that, it usually involves writing the story. XP)

Damion noticed a certain light enter Outbreak's eyes as he rushed toward him. Luckily, he was far away enough that he could cancel his attack. He watched him stroll over to the girl from before, and apologize. Damion never thought Outbreak capable. Now that he thought about it, Damion thought she looked familiar. Where had he seen her before, above the manhole from before? Ahh yes. He remembered now; she was with the mutant who went to the police after they all dispersed; she even called him by name, Conner, was it? Come to think of it, he must have been military if he went to the police so casually; that must be who Outbreak was after. At least Damion discovered Outbreak's real name out of all of this; it would be much easier to remember "Barry" than to keep "Outbreak" in mind every time they spoke or referred to him.

Damion took in every word of the man in the livestream, and took note of Sentinel's response, and also one of those living in his community. There was much this man could know of Damion, but little they could use to stop him; there was nothing important left to him, other than the well-being of others. He definitely did not want to drag others down simply for his escape. He would need to find a way to release everyone who wanted to leave. Depending on how this area was designed, escape might be possible. Hopefully, they were not underground or inside of a small room of a larger facility, or anything like that. It would make escape that much more troublesome. Damion figured that window might be usable, even if it was too strong to break, but figured he should bide his time and try to gain as much information as possible.

"I request the same. I'd like to know if you truly know who we all are. I'm scarcely a well known criminal mutant or a decorated government dog; I hope I'm not just collateral in this situation," he challenged the man on the other side of the video feed, then turned to Barry and whispered, "By the way, sorry about all that, Barry, but I thought you were going to do something rather unpleasant so I stepped in. I hope you won't hold it against me." He smiled to him, but his mask made it pointless; he turned back to the figure in the projected image. Damion would gladly fight against anyone threatening the world, but in the right hands, that Core could be extremely beneficial to the world. If Sentinel was the person Damion expected him to be, he would be the prime candidate for finding it and preventing its misuse. Humanity was corrupt, mutated or not, but there were still some who would do what was best for the greater good. Damion just hoped that none of those in here empathized with Black Fist, and that most of them thought alike, particularly with himself.

Iris quickly pulled out a roll of bandages from her coat careful to not move Ella underneath, where no one could see Ella (cough). Iris looked up when the screen came on. She pulled the bandages she had wrapped on the one called Dash tight while she listened to what she had to say. "Now hold on just a moment, there was a ton of mutants back at our place and you just decide to take their leader and medical person. Now I don't care who you are but I know of this is a government mission on behalf of my Leader, she will most likely go but only if you send me back and do not, and I repeat DO NOT touch a single person that is in our safety before, during, and after this. If you do...well let's just say the government will be in for quite a surprise. So that is our deal, send me back and no touchy touchy on any of the people in our care." Iris crossed her arms over her chest as she waited for their response.

Outbreak listened to others responding to the monitor. Two mutants asked for their information. He gave a sly grin, briefly. This was a win-win situation for him. If these people truly knew who they were, he would find out all the information he needed to know about both Damion and the other guy with mask. After that, he would no longer be in the dark about their powers. Another big piece of information would be their back story. Where did they come from? It would be very insightful to be able to understand the others. On the other hand, if they didn't know, Outbreak would become skeptical. Then he realized. All the files on him, except his appearance and powers, we're classified. They were all highly confidencial information that the government kept. Outbreak always believed that it was because of all the things they did to him while he in the cell. That brought his mind back to...Outbreak moved his hand towards his back and ran his fingers along one of the crude scars on his back.

His face grew lost in thought, expressionless. Then he decided, remembering that he was about to work for the very people that did this to him. "If you're really legitimate, disclose all the confidencial files about mutant A-117, code name "Outbreak" and to make sure, name all the crimes of mine that will be erased if this job of yours is completed. If you can reveal that, consider me part of your team," he demanded of the monitor.

Outbreak knew everything they needed to say in order to count him in. He had the news articles of all the massacres he's committed taped all over his crappy home. He remembers the hours he's spent staring at each of them. Dangerous Mutant Kills 7 in Mall Siege, School Massacre of Children and Cops after Ten Minute Car Chase, Cops Found Dead in Police Department, and countless others. Outbreak had a flashback of the school killing. He still had nightmares of that to this day. He was suddenly swarmed with a feeling of despair. Outbreak sat down and place his face in his hands, waiting for the monitor guy to start revealing the information he wanted. There were many reasons Outbreak had an outright hatred for the government.

If jumping and running had made her head spin, then the teleportation turned it into a jet engine, a turbine, a cyclone in which her balance organ had not even the slightest chance of keeping up. Valerie had no idea where she was, or which way was up and which was down. She couldn't focus her gaze so instead she kept her eyes closed and tried to focus enough to get an idea of what was going on by relying on her hearing instead.

She heard voices fading in and out as her head spun like a hurricane, some she recognised. She tried to identify them. Erin... That guy from the sewers... It took a good while before she could make any sense of what she was hearing, but little by little her mind managed to piece the puzzle together. As her sense of balance started returning and the spinning eased she realized she was sitting in a corner, hugging her own knees.

Valerie opened her eyes to see the monitor lit up and the group of mutants gather around it. As she listened to what was being said she grew even more scared than she already was. Why I am here? I have no powers that can help fight the Black Fist! She struggled to get up and stumbled her way to Erin and the guy from the sewers (Outbreak). Again driven by the feeling of being safe around Erin that she had felt from before. She said nothing, she just wanted to hear what the person in the monitor was going to respond to what the mutants were saying and demanding.

Erin's gaze narrowed at the offer from the guy on screen. So... they would help or they would rot away in this box? For the good of the world or not, Erin would rather rot away in here than help someone accomplish anything. She tried to keep her expression amiable as she listened to the other mutants demanding clarification that the government had true knowledge on any of them. She rolled her eyes at that- she didn't care what they had on her. They didn't have anyone they could use against her, like one of the girl mutants had- people to protect apparently. Erin hadn't spoken to her family in years... so they were out of that picture. It just left Erin smiling softly and shaking her head. She wasn't going to be forced to do anything. Becoming a mutant had stolen her future... so she had no reason and not motive to go about doing any of this.

When the enraged boy from earlier came about, Erin glanced around for some sort of escape from him before recalling that she was trapped in a concrete box waaaaaaaay underground. She felt a bit claustrophobic at the thought and so pushed it from her mind.

"Um...I'm sorry for...what I did back there. I didn't mean to scare you. I just, uh...Look maybe we got off on the wrong foot, My name is Barry. You can call me Outbreak."

Erin felt her eyes widen a little. He had threatened her life for someone she knew and this is what she got out of it. Well... at least he did look properly apologetic. And Erin understood he was dangerous... and the last thing she wanted to do was anger him again. Sighing, Erin took his hand, giving it a small shake.

"Plain Sight. You can call me Plain Sight, or P.S. if you want." Erin said, deciding that Conner and Vittra could remain the only ones who knew her name... unless the government guy went blabbing about that... it didn't matter anyway... like she had thought earlier, she had nothing to hide- no one to protect. They truly had nothing on her.

"And it's extremely obvious that the point was to scare information out of me. Not the best way to make friends, I've gotta tell you. Definitely a good way to leave a lasting impression, though. I won't be forgetting you anytime soon, for what it's worth." Erin sighed, her lips still quirked into a small smile. "And just so we're clear, we most certainly did get off on the wrong foot. But I, being the all forgiving person I am, forgive you." Erin said, before internally facepalming at saying 'forgiving' twice. "If you don't mind my asking... what were you going to do to me? Were you considering killing me? Can you kill me?" Erin asked, not recognizing Outbreak as the man who had killed the cops. She had seen him from a distance, afterall... and then hadn't seen him at all in the sewers.

Erin's eyes alighted on Vittra as she came over. "Vittra!" She said excitedly in greeting, giving the girl a hearty wave. "So... what do you think of this great cage we have been locked in?" Erin asked, gesturing at the concrete box they were in. As Erin spoke her eyes fell on the guy who had... possibly saved her life earlier. She wondered if she should thank him... for the most part she just kept in mind that she owed him a debt.

"Well" the man started, "one at a time. The first one to speak. You have a greatly enhanced physical condition and a few witnesses claim you can create chains. We don't know what you refer to yourself as, but in the system you are just another mutant abusing their powers to deal whatever "justice" you feel fit. The next guy; you have paper manipulation and your name is Damian. You can manipulate the paper in such a way to create armor and weapons as hard as steel. You were catalogued about a month ago. By the way, Sentinel I believe they called you, you will need registered before we go. Medic girl, I will accept most of your conditions. I will grant immunity to a few individuals per person, but your caverns are far to big for me to guarantee that. You were brought here because of two moles. Do you honestly believe we do not have more? We have not attacked in the past and will not in the future as you are a peaceful organization. Should this change, well, we can outnumber you or even just blow the compound up if the threat is big enough. Just be grateful that our knowledge of your Caverns is off the record. You may return back to the caverns alone and continue your job. You and the other leaders will be granted immunity. Something everyone should note is your immunity is not a right, but a revocable privilege. Should anyone with immunity commit a high enough crime or even just get caught by the police, who have no clue this is happening, then immunity does not apply. And finally Outbreak. Which mass murder should you wish for me to mention? You killed four cops just last week, and more not too long before that. Perhaps I should mention the school masseur? Make no mistake; I do not like you in any way and if it was my choice you would be facing the death sentence right now, but that is not my choice."

@rosamortelle (I didn't know if they should know Iris by name, so I didn't) @Jabrark @Azure Sky @rapjack123

Outbreak, having sat down next to the girl he was apologizing to, took his face out of his hands. He gave a smile as she joked around forgiving him. But then she asked what he would have done to her. Outbreak's expression withered. He looked back down to the floor, blankly. "I...I don't know what I would have done," he said, with emptiness and guilt in his voice. It didn't help when the monitor man began talking to him. That's when he mentioned the school massacre and his heart plunged deeper into depression. He remembered having fled the scene so quickly, he never found out what the government made him out to be after it, he only had the piece of newspaper that had the title. Why did he have to think of it now? He was embarrassing himself in front of the others. Outbreak didn't care. Knowing what kind of twisted story they came up with to make him look like the killer of children meant more to him than his reputation. It was bad enough already. He looked up at the monitor man, his expression was broken and sorrowful. Hesitantly, he said, "Tell me about the school massacre."

Iris was ready to scream at the monitor man when he gave her an answer. Yet Iris knew that this is how Ella would want it. "Sir, I accept your terms but you must know we will never cause outrage or panic as we will remain neutral as we always have. So yes on behalf of the leadership we accept your terms. However before you send me away, I want a promise that you will bring back our leader in one piece."

Iris then stood up, after she planted a kiss on Ella's forehead like a mother would. She left the coat on top of Ella as well. Then Iris whispered to herself, "Good luck Ella, please be alright." Iris was upset that Ella would wake after Iris was gone but she held back the tears for Iris knew she had a lot of explaining to do at the Caverns.

It took Conner a second to process what had happened, seeing as he'd never really teleported before. All he knew was one second he was in the apartment, the next he was in a giant gray blur feeling incredibly nauseous. After a bit, his eyes started working again and it was a giant gray room and that he wasn't alone.

What looked like a window in the corner of the room turned out to be a screen, flipping on and revealing a man that seemed familiar. God, was he familiar. He was going to kill himself with how intensely he was thinking about who that man was. He began to speak, and what Conner basically got was a top secret mission to take down the Black Fist. Wasn't I already doing this?, he thought, brow furrowing slightly before he reigned in his facial movements again.

Multiple people began talking, and Conner didn't know how the man kept track of who was saying what. He addressed the crowd, talking about a school massacre. He turned to the individual it was addressed to, seeing Erin sitting next to him, and recognized the face as the one belonging to the wanted mutant that could control viruses. He was going to be pardoned, however, and they had to work together, so he didn't say anything, simply sitting down where he was, hearing the man say to talk about the school massacre and turning to face the screen.

He should probably have been more worried about Erin and Vittra, who's location he didn't know, but he couldn't pass up the chance to absorb potentially important information.

((Don't know who to tag))

Asher cursed as the window revealed that it wasn't a window at all, but rather a screen. No escape for him, then. Absent-mindedly, he plucked the guitar strings on his wrist, until the man said something about the Black Fist. He'd been after them for quite a while, thanks to information that some of its members had killed his family. Then they said something about leverage, which made him listen intently to the rest of the conversation.

The villain watched the seen unfold; the man began listing off the other mutant's powers, which he silently thanked god for. Paper manipulation? Chain control? Maybe they would be more difficult to deal with than he thought. He turned his attention to the mutant they had singled out, named Outbreak. Mass murder, and a school massacre? He was suddenly far more interesting. Maybe Asher had finally found someone as insane as he was.

He stood up, looking at the screen and the man behind it. "You said you had leverage, on all of us? What do you have on me?" he asked cockily, crossing his arms over his chest. "Ill help if i know what is in it for me."

(@Shog )

Damion listened intently to the man in the monitor, and cultivated a rather excited attitude. There was little they truly knew of him, and nothing they could use against him directly, or even indirectly. Anyone who chose to fight alongside them would have made their own choice, depending on what this organization knew about them. Damion simply wanted something to do, especially since he has been nothing but bored ever since the apartment arson; he was truly lucky he happened to stumble upon Sentinel and Barry when he did. This was probably the most exciting thing that has happened to him so far, and Damion could resist anything that offered a substitute to aimlessly flying around the city. He began wishing they had captured him sooner; especially when thinking of all the idleness he could have avoided. He began hearing of Outbreak's charged felons, and wanting to respect his privacy, especially of such sensitive information, Damion tuned the man out; Barry would explain it when he was ready, but for now, he would simply stick around to see how events played out. After hearing many more explanations and useless banter, Damion challenged the man, hoping to discover the true extent of his knowledge, as well as reprimanding the man for treating Damion like a supporting role in all of this, despite the fact that he considered himself little more than such at heart.

(After he replies to the wave of questions he received prior. Giving @Shog a break between answers. Still putting up a fight though! (^-^))

"I see. So you've got essentially nothing on me particularly. Firstly, immunity is not something I have need for, considering if police officers were uninformed of such circumstances, there would be no difference to the course of my life and the immunity would be void and pointless; I have no criminal record or charged felons, meaning your current offer is worthless to me. As for your methods of forcing us into agreement, I find them quite ineffective and childish, especially since you're essentially withholding our personal information hostage. Besides, my power, while not something I exhibit, is not something I hide. My cataloging is also trivial information, as is my name, considering both are relatively public. I fail to find an explanation as to why I must be forced to aid you in your endeavors. Hear me clearly when I say that I care little for your little crusade against Black Fist, and have no obligation to participate in it. Unless you think you possess some exclusive information that will tie me to your cause. I'd be foolish not to heed your words in that case," Damion condescendingly taunted, expecting either a more in depth explanation to his own circumstances, or a lack of such knowledge. Receiving either would be in his gain, considering he would then wield insight into their captors capabilities and resources. If they had the knowledge to force them into this slavery, then it would display their adeptness in research for their goals; if the latter was true, it would depict their spontaneousness and unpreparedness for their task. Damion would be wary being led by such poor leaders, and hoped the former would come to pass.
