[The One Eyed Bandit]

"Books? Like, textbooks? I hate those things, they're so... bland" Thinking to herself, she came up with an idea to make this conversation a little more fun. "Hey, how about we play a game? You try and guess what my power is, like 20 questions or something" Smiling while she spoke, beginning to enjoy the conversation a bit, it was a nice change from the drama that had been going on earlier "If I win you have to buy me twenty dollars worth of candy. If you win..." Pausing for a moment as she thought, she didn't actually know what other people liked, frowning slightly as she realized this "Um.. What do you want if you win?" Slightly embarrassed that she couldn't even think of a decent prize for such a simple game, her voice wavering slightly as a result.

Ryu looks down at a kid around his age, he was not sure if older or younger, he could hear the guy was argueing with himself soooo Ryu was a bit skeptical on how sane the guy was at first and really did not understand what the guy said exactaly, was he asking if Ryu was new there or was he just rambling on. Ryu just breathed heavily as he always did and starred at the guy erieely, he just watched the guy confused about what he was saying. Ryu looked into the classroom the guy was in, he wondered if some one else was there but so far it seemed to be this weird kid and that was it.

Octavius could hear the new gas mask kid breathing heavily, Maybe he doesn't speak English. "Improbable." Then maybe he thinks you're weird. "That's possible." Octavius was again talking with 'Emily'. He then looks at the new kid, "You'll find everybody else that has Mr. Sebastian for their first class in there." He points over to the room he came out of. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go get a snack." He starts walking off in the direction of the vending machine.

Yeah Ryu found this kid to be awfully disturbing...he was talking to himself and just seemed all around crazy. Ryu walked into the classroom and looked at lots of people well...really there was only like a couple of kids there and they seemed to be all bored and looking out windows and such. Ryu sighed at the sight of only a couple kids, they seemed not to care much and he was not going to care either then, he felt like he was in a school with only a couple people because he was considered a freak and a criminal...he just stood there staring at everyone...

It was the boy that she'd been watching out of the window earlier- and that sounded really creepy. She shouldn't say that to him. Ever. The boy in question was staring at everyone. Why wouldn't he be staring? They were such a bunch of freaks, no wonder he was staring. Tessa frowned at him. Should she say something or...? No. She decided against it and stared down at her desk.

Ryu looked at the front of the room, no teacher just a bunch of grumpy looking kids, school sucked already, was he supposed to do down or wait for the teacher....what to do was the question...Ryu just stood there heavily breathing and looking awfully bored and sad at the same time, it was just how Ryu was sadly. Ryu watched the people still his hands retreating to his pockets as he watched thwm his one bright red eye and red glass glowing the same eriee feeling...he just see me all creepy and that was it..

Eventually, she gave into to his goddamn staring. Tessa stood up and tried to catch the new boy's eyes... Uh, eye. She scowled at him.


"Just sit the hell down!" she commanded, crossing her arms. New kids were so ignorant and annoying and they annoyed her so freaking much. Ugh. She hadn't been like that last year.

"Nice to meet you too Sassy....I ain't sitting down just cause you say so..." Ryu says starring at her some smoke escaping the mask, made him look like he was smoking. Ryus voice was very deep and mean sound in but it was all the masks fault and was not his fault he sounded so weird...Ryu did not pride himself with being the late new kid, he was late cause he was in like a prison..not his fault he was there either. Ryu hated this girl already, seemed so grouchy already...already making enemies as well...how great....

"Well, sorry." Tessa rolled her eyes, "I was just trying to prevent you from looking like even more of an idiot than you already do. You were just standing there, staring at us and it was freaking unnerving! I decided to reach out but nooooo you don't need any help from me! Fine, I won't help you or be nice to you or anything!" And she sat back down, trying to regain control of her temper. If she didn't, another desk was going to go down. She rolled her eyes. It wasn't her fault that people bugged her. They were the idiots, not her!

The girl was so grouchy...yelling at him would not help him " Oh yeah...because yelling at me is really going to help...." Ryu says another puff of smoke coming from the mask, still standing and starring directaly at her and no one else his voice sounded so bored and non emotional he stared at her and watched her flip out a bit he felt like he was surrounded by Psychos...it could be true she did seem likea psycho, not really normal he just stood there his eye drooped like normal and seemed so bored. Ryu felt like she was the idiot and not him....she lashed out at him...

Tessa stared at her desk, breathing heavily. She could feel his eyes on her, either that or GMPB was using his powers on her somehow. God, it was awful. She shuddered. Maybe she could try again? That would probably be the best thing to do. She stood up again, slower this time, and turned to the gas mask boy. She walked over to him.


"Hi. My name's Tessa." she said, "I'm sorry.... Uh... I guess..."

"Is this how friendship works?....if so its pretty odd....." Ryu says his eyes glued to the of girl who just screamed at him and was now Trying to make it up, was this how friendship worked he had questioned....it was an odd thing if it was. Ryu looked at her very confused on what to say, it was clear he had not been around kids his age in years....he seemed so horrible at holding a conversation. ..nothis fault in the end however. Ryu just kept looking down at the odd girl whl yelled at him...

"Uh, not normally, I don't think." Tessa was at a loss for words. She'd never had many friends, she wasn't honestly sure if she was doing the right thing here.


"I... I have a few... Anger management issues." She pointed to the desk she'd torched earlier, "I set things on fire a lot also. Um. Sorry that I yelled at you, I guess." This conversation so wasn't happening. But she had to keep talking now because she couldn't just walk away suddenly.

"Still bent out of shaoe over that?....I get yelled at all the time at prison....im used toit..." Ryu says aloud still staring her down, he did look over at the nice destroyed desk, he knew how to deal with flame people if he ever got in a fight with them...special kind of gas for them....Ryu looked back to her "Name's Ryu.....amd you dont new to know my power if you still have not figured out...." he says smokecoming out from the mask again, he was like wearing a reverse gas mask...he was quite the odd one as it seemed and his expressions never see me to Chan no matter how he felt...he wanted to take off his mask badly but could not..

What are you saying, you can't get a kitkat?! "I'd rather get something a little more healthy." That's no fun! "Whatever." He grabs the fruit snacks he had just bought and walked back to the classroom. He notices that the new kid and Tessa were 'getting along' nicely. He sits down next to his bag and opens the bag of snacks. "Yum." He takes out three and plops them into his mouth. Wonder if she's still shaken up. Octavius looks at Tessa, "I don't think so."

"Hi Ryu." It sounded creepily similar to Rayu and made Tessa shudder, "I think I'm going to go and sit back down now." She couldn't hold this awkward conversation any longer, it was too weird. She didn't like Ryu at all, he was too... Different. She went and sat back down, giving Octavius a look as she passed him. He was muttering to himself, as if he wasn't weird enough.

Ryu shrugged and sat down in a desk in the far back still looking at the girl, she was worse then he was...not his fault she couldent hold a conversation either...he had knew this new kid experience would go horribly....how great....he expected this he guessed. Ryu sighed and tapped his fingers on the desk really sad that he couldn't make friends.....he knew he would not be able to because he would just hurt them in the end...he always did like his family and friends...they died or left him because he was too dangerous that even some of them turned him in to the police and he was arrested by the government....

Wow, Tessa thought, you can't even hold a conversation. Well done, Tessa. She was an awful person, an awfully awful person. She just sat and looked at her desk, aware that people were looking at her. She never realised how much she disliked being looked at. She crossed her arms and leaned forward on her desk, wondering when this would be over and she could leave- except she couldn't leave. She was stuck here overnight and the next day and the next night, so on. She'd have to share a room with somebody, hopefully not Serephene because that would not end well.

 

[Dyness]

Rayu looked at Tessa. She was in a foul mood again. She had just snapped at the new student named Ryu--he didn't blame her. He leaned forward and pulled up a hand to draw hair away from the side of her face. Then he lightly touched her ear with a finger, sending a shock. "I told you I'll zap you if you're going to be so down," he said, quickly pulling away just in case she decided to swing a fire-fist in his direction.

"And I'll toast your insides!" Tessa stood up and punched him in the stomach before he could back away, ".... Ow." It really hurt her, actually. It hurt much more than she thought she would. The flames that had began to spark on the ends of her hair and fingers died down suddenly. It... It really hurt. She held her hurt fist in her other hand.


"Oh, hell." she muttered.

 

[Dyness]

Rayu felt pain flare in his stomach, and his shirt had caught on fire. Patting it down and trying not to hiss, he gave Tessa a worried look for the millionth time today. "I knew you'd fly at me," he laughed, pulling at his shirt to get air through and cool his burning skin. The shirt hadn't burned through, only turned black, and he was lucky--he didn't want to go into the halls to change. And he'd get lost on the way to the bathroom.


"Sorry," he apologized. "But I'd rather have you angry at me than being gloomy." He gently took her injured hand and brought it to his lips. "Do you hate me for it?" he asked, murmuring into her fingertips, feeling guilty.

She set his shirt on fire. Whoops. It wasn't exactly her fault though, he'd annoyed her on purpose.


"Yes." Tessa said. She winced as he took her hand and brought it up to his face.


"Do you have a weird hand fetish or something?" Tessa said and she winced again, "You're hurting me." Her sore knuckles didn't want to be touched especially by a walking electricity generator.

 

[Dyness]

Rayu released her hand, careful not to let it hit anything else. "Not really," he said, forcing a smile. Something inside him felt strained, and he didn't like that feeling at all. "I think it only applies to you, though." He shook his head a bit, trying to shake off the uncomfortable feeling with no success.


Looking at the distaste on her face, he decided he should leave her for the time being--his presence was sure to get on her nerves even more, just as it did to many others. "I'm going to see if there are extra shirts in the locker rooms," he said, fingering the burn mark, which made him exhale, nearly laughing. "I'll check if there's anything that'll help that hand, too." Holding in a sigh, he left the room as casually as he could, only letting it out once he was outside.


He leaned against the wall, out of the vision of those in the classroom, closing his eyes. He just had to upset the only person he wanted to be with. This is why you don't approach people, he growled inwardly.

Ryu watched the guy shock her and her flip out...Ryu knew how to stop fire...he had to deal with it before...he met a lot of kids with powers, he was forced to fight and adapt, they wanted to make Ryu a weapon and it mostly worked...they screwed up his powers and made him worse..Ryu opened the window and lifted up his mask making sure no one found out what his face looked like, all that was shown was his scarred mouth but it was covered by smoke in seconds as he blew the smoke out the window....it was a lot of smoke so clearly he was not smoking any kind of stick...that was coming from somewhere else. Ryu just blew out the window a smug smirk on his tattered face...

Leth sighed as he leaned up " I just wanted to see how your doing, dealing with me and sol can be quite a task, I wanted to assure myself that I had picked the right person.... seem's I did" he smiled at her as he said this, his voice echoing through the small room " well I have to go know, take care of him like you said you would....and also, don't be afraid, k!" and with a wave of his hand, leth fall out of the body, turning his hair black, eyes a deep blue. Sol gasped a breath in as he jolted up and off the bed, looking to and fro. Sereph was sitting on a bed, what had leth done this time " what did leth DO!!! please, did he hurt you?" sol's voice was wavering as he ran back over to her checking her for any more marks or wounds.
