Fantasy The Chalice Academy

"Indeed, right this way." After walking for about 10 minutes they came to a door nearer to the back of the school, in an area mostly occupied by teachers offices. "Here we are" He'd lead the girl to one of the faculty toilets, one of the single faculty toilets "Sorry about the long walk, I despise the student toilets you know?" Smiling as he spoke, curious if the girl would have any way out of this situation.

"Thank you." Damn, how am I supposed to get out of this situation. Emily walked into the (Random Washroom name here) and checked her watch. "5 more minutes." She looked around the restroom looking for any possible escape route. "There" She points up to the large vent on the wall. She jumps up and tries to go through but isn't able to. She quickly checks her watch. 5, 4, 3, 2... Damn. He jumps down from the vent and opens the door. "Hello! Why are you standing outside of the restroom, are you waiting for someone?" Octavius says struggling for an explanation. 'The girl that was in there went through the vents, I think she's crazy!"

"Hmmm? I'm coming in." Pushing open the door and making his way over to Octavius, checking the vents and as he suspected the grates were bolted down. "Well, that is odd isn't it." Tugging on the grate for emphasis "Well, I guess I'll just have to cut her off then." He wasn't stupid, there was no way she could have escaped through the vents that quickly, she was either a teleporter or a shape-shifter of some kind, though he respected her resourcefulness and had decided to concede her their little game, having gotten his amusement out of the ordeal "Be sure to contact me if you see her later. Just ask for Mr.Faust at reception." Speaking to Octavius in a knowing tone as he left the room, intending to finish up his pre-class stroll.

Rayu held back a response to Tessa--Octavius should be the one to tell Tessa, if anyone, not him, or anyone else. He stifled a yawn at the mention of dorms, wanting some sleep. He rubbed an eye idly, groaning a bit. "I wonder if we're sitting on students when we're sitting on these chairs," he muttered a little too loud. "That'll be...weird."

"I wonder if the desk I torched was anyone I knew." Tessa said, "That'd be awful." Why was nobody giving her any answers today? She crossed her arms.

"I want to go home." she sighed. She didn't normally get homesick. But she'd rather be home than here with these crazy people.

"Can you take me to your house?" Rayu asked. "I want to see your room. And I'd like to meet your family." He wondered if they all had fire abilities. That would be one family on fire. "My house isn't a pleasant place to return to," he added casually.

"Maybe." Tessa said, "I don't know. We're stuck here for the rest of the year really. Maybe I won't come back next year. If I make it to next year." She was just talking now, "What's wrong with your house?"

"The memories," he said lowly. "It's not happy." He chuckled at how weird that sounded. "If you can't make it, how can I? You've already survived a year in this school. If I don't have someone who can guide me, I'm done for." He involuntarily imagined how it would be like to be a shoe stand and narrowed his eyes in distaste. "Ugh," he muttered. "Being furniture isn't a nice feeling." With that in mind, he lifted himself from the desk to stand, taking into consideration that desk may be a person.

"I wouldn't want to be furniture either. But it's better than being dead, surely?" Tessa brushed her hair out of her eyes, "If you were dead, you wouldn't feel anything ever again. Just darkness, if that." She shrugged, a little sadly, looking down. She didn't like to think about these things.

Stewart looks over, "Nice input, pal." He says at the remark about furniture, "We really needed that." He jokingly says. He stands and goes over and sits by Kanari, "So, what's new?" He asks her, trying to make small talk.

Rayu lifted a hand towards Tessa and gave her a flick to the forehead. "Stop being such a downer," he said, adding a harmless spark since the flick might not have been enough to make her look up. He didn't like it when Tessa gave off such a...fire-less vibe. It would be better if she was angry at him than watching her be pulled down into sadness. "I'll zap you for it."

"Don't zap me!" Tessa said, "That would sound really weird out of context." She laughed and her hand went to her forehead. Oh, god. Every time he touched her, she thought she might explode. It was awesome.

Rayu smiled, his mood lightening considerably as she laughed. "I'm weird myself--it should work out." A spark emitted itself from his hands. Again. He sighed, still smiling. He's never felt so happy before, not since his parents' death, and his emotions seemed to have gotten the better of him. "I guess I have to go hit the cement again. Make sure you don't stand too close to me, or you might really get electrocuted."

He walked his way over to the window he had opened early and proceed in aiming at the cement. After his work was done, he turned around, facing Tessa. He held back the urge to touch her hair again--really, what's with him today? He smiled at nothing in particular. He was more than glad he applied for this school. No matter what happened this morning, he was grateful. This school gave him back his happiness, and allowed him to meet Tessa.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Tessa frowned, "What... Did I say something? You're looking at me weird!" She crossed her arms. Something was definitely going on with Rayu. He was acting weird. But she wasn't exactly acting normal, so she couldn't call him out on it. Oh hell... Stuff was.... weird today....

Stewart cups his hands around his mouth, "Just kiss him already!" He laughs, he thought they were cute together.

Rayu shook his head. "It's nothing you did, besides making me want to touch your hair." He pouted playfully. "But you won't let me." Looking at Tessa, he felt happiness. "And I'm really happy I met you."

"You want to touch... My hair?" Tessa was still frowning, "But... Why? It's just hair." Then, she shrugged, "I'm really happy I met you. Even if you are all electric-y-y-y..." She trailed off, "Yeah, I'm bad at talking to people. Sorry." She looked at GMPB and shook her head slowly. Just no.

Stewart has a cheeky smile, he nods slowly, he mouths the words, "Do it." And continues to nod.

((did anyone else have troubles with this site last night, I could nt post all night becuase of some server error))

(Yup, me, too--and we decided to use the OCC chat for this stuff instead of the RP chat--but be prepared for the GIF war.)

Stewart laughs and turns back to Kanari, "Anyways, so what's new with you?" He chuckles.

((k))

sol looks down the halls through each room, but he cant find her, he cant find one friend, in this entire school, he lets out a sigh as he slumps against a wall "god damn it, sereph were are you" not noticing the change, sol closes his eyes and when he open's them they are golden, along with his hair, leth stand's up look's to his left and smirk's " my friend you do not use your power to your advantage do you?" leth said his tone menacing, also kind of awkward because he was by himself, looking in the direction were serephene was he snapped his fingers and he was there, like a step into a new world... well not really. Looking around the room he found her lying on a couch.

(She was on the floor.... xD She passed out as soon as she came into that room...unless someone put her on the couch...... O.o )
