Fantasy The Chalice Academy

Stewart smiles, "Hey, cheer up, now you can hang out with me whenever you want, and I can hang out with you whenever." He realizes that he's denied her of candy, I know just what will cheer her up! He pats her on the head, "I might have a surprise for you later on!" He chuckles, she would love it!
Stewart turns to the person who simply just waltzed up to them, "Oh, she has to hang out with me whenever I want." He chuckles, "Quite silly if you ask me."

"yeah sure, lets go" Sol sighs as he starts out of the nurse's office, his heart beating fast as he passes the nurse, she smiles at him and he flinches and the hurries out of the room. Stopping just right outside the door he falls to his knees and breaths in deeply, his heart clenching in his chest. What was wrong wtih him, he had no reason to be afraid of her, what was causing this?

Kanari blushed as he petted her, too embarrassed to object to his actions her cheeks continued to redden "Um.. S-surprise? What kind?" Stuttering as she spoke, her nervousness starting to flare up, she hadn't expected anyone to go off petting her on the first day, sure she was short but she didn't look like that much of a child did she?

Stewart smiles, "You'll see, you will enjoy it. Trust me." He chuckles. Stewart feels so weird around Kanari, he was happy that he was around her and that he won the 20 questions, so now he can hang out with her whenever, "U-Uh, Kanari, I know this is a little soon, but do you mind meeting me tomorrow at the mall? It's for the surprise." He smiles at her, he was now blushing intensely.

"Umm.. Yeah sure.." Still surprised by his earlier gesture Kanari answered in a rather small voice, practically squeaking out her answer. Though she didn't see why he was asking if she minded, she couldn't refuse even if she wanted to but she appreciated that he felt the need to ask.

With the game being over he decided to go back to his seat. He plops himself down and reads his book. Why are you reading that crap!? "It's fine literature, that's why!" It's so boring though. "No it's intriguing not boring." I'm already bored of this conversation. "How did you get in my head anyway, Emily?" I'll tell you later. Why don't you get that manga your brother gave you on the ride here? "How do you know about that?" Emily doesn't answer as he takes the manga out of his bag. He begins reading it, not noticing the many stares the students nearby him were giving.

Stewart nods, "Ok then, I can't wait. It'll be fun, trust me." He wasn't very sure if she was sad or simply surprised, "So, are you having fun for your first day at this school?" He really enjoys talking with her like this, even if it was mindless small talk, he adjusts in his seat.

"A lot more chaotic than I would have liked. Half our class seems to hate each other and I spent at least an hour unconscious at the bottom of a pit." Sighing as she spoke, saying it out loud just confirmed to her how poorly the first half of this day had gone. "But I guess it wasn't all bad, at least I made a friend already" Her sigh turning into a smile as he finished, being genuinely happy that she'd manged to befriend someone on her first day here.

Overhearing Octavius apparently speaking to himself she turned in his direction and noticed that he'd started reading a manga, far more interesting than those dry old books she thought. "What you reading?" Calling over to Octavius, regardless of how he'd been acting while he was Emily earlier she couldn't help but want to try and be friends with him, he'd seemed so nice when the talked earlier in the day.

Octavius looks over at Kanari. "Oh it's just a manga my brother gave me." He flips back to the front cover, "Its called Baka to Test to Shoukanjyuu. It's really funny." He flips back to the page he was on. Ignoring her and trying to read.

"Sounds interesting! Mind if I borrow it when you're done? I usually read more actiony stuff myself but comedies a nice change every now and then you know?" Smiling as she talked to him, she hadn't really had many opportunities to talk about her interests earlier in her life and getting a chance to talk about them like this was nice, maybe the second half of the day would overshadow all the crap that had gone down earlier, things had already started to lighten up after all.

Ryu shrugged when the girl screamed at him, second time today and he did not mind it but he was in the right there actually "Actually..whoever you are, he used his power against us....not my fault I want trying to make him stop." Ryu said taking a shot in the dark, he felt like the kids power had to do with his face because he was wearing a gas mask as well...but he could have been wrong "I would rather suffer in torture prison then be here..." Ryu mumbled to himself truthfully, everyone seemed like jerks already..not his fault he was new and did not want to have to deal with kids using there powers on other people...he could use his power on them "Seeing as how he can use his power freely then the rest of us should as well..." Ryu says to the annoying girl as he waved his hand, he had a feeling friends would not be made with his personality...but he could not Chang how he was just to please a bunch of jerks..

Serephene bends over Sol. "You don't look 'okay' to me...Did something happen?" She places a hand on his forehead...it didn't seem like he had a temperature. "I think you should stay at the infirmary," she advised, pulling her hand away. "But then again, you're not comfortable there..."

"Yeah sure, you can borrow it I just finished." He hands the book over to Kanari. Why are you giving her the manga? "She's nice and I was done with it." You should have let me read it. "But I thought you were.... never mind, just be quiet." As he goes back to his seat he takes out his big book. Noooooo!

Stewart sighs and watches them talk, Kanari returns with a manga, "Which manga is that?" He asks as he tries to peak at it.

Ryu sighed and blew more smoke out the window, he knew he would make no friends at all, he was a jerk as well...but he had no friends...never had any and sucked at social situations....he was going to probably leave the school, who would stop him, the kids....they did not care, he could be arrested again...but he could not think about the idea of going back to torture camp....so many kids were there....he knew so many powers, some these kids had no clue about..he missed the kids he used train against, they were less mean then these kids..

Thanking Octavius for the manga Kanari returned to her seat, slipping it into her bag with the other issues she'd brought to class with her. "Baka to Test to Shoukanjyuu, I've read some decent things about it online so why not right?" Looking at the clock, noticing it was still a while until class let out, sighing lightly. "Do you read manga or anything?" Slightly curious, but mostly grasping at straws for conversation, having been told that common interests were generally the best way to stoker one.

Stewart nods, "I do enjoy watching anime every now and then." He chuckles, "It's silly, though." He leans back in his chair.

Kanari frowned slightly, what did he mean silly? There was nothing wrong with anime, or at least she thought so without thinking she spat out her thoughts, "Silly? There's nothing wrong with it!" realizing how defensive she sounded as soon as the words left her mouth, blushing slightly.

Stewart sighs, "Everyone says it is, it makes me kind of upset." He scratches the back of his head.

"Do they? First I've heard of it, if anything that sounds silly to me" The reason she'd never heard this was of course, because of her lack of social interaction for so long, though she was oblivious to that. Despite her intellect she wasn't the sharpest when it came to analyzing social queues and reasoning, which was probably one of the bigger flaws in her personality, having gotten her into trouble several times in the past.

Stewart looks around the class, pretty slow for a first day, but what did he expect, "She's pretty cute." He murmurs to himself, he realizes he said that out loud and blushes, hoping Kanari didn't hear him.

Did he just call her cute? No. No way. He had to be talking about someone else. Tessa, yeah probably Tessa, she was quite pretty wasn't she? Trying to both pretend she hadn't heard Stewart's comment and convince herself that he'd been talking about someone else Kanari's cheeks began to redden, swiftly becoming flustered, not used to being called pretty, cute or anything of the like.

Stewart adjusts in his seat, this class was a drag, where was the teacher? When do we get our dorms? Jesus Christ I'm hungry. He thinks to himself, "Hey, Kanari, when we get our dorms, I can help you get your stuff moved in." He leans forward.

Cielo finally reached the classroom she was searching. She stopped in front of the door knowing that once she went inside there would probably be people and that meant conversations and that meant disaster. She was already late in entering the school with all the paperwork and other issues that occurred. She chuckled softly to herself but she had to bypass that. This would be it. A fresh start. N one would know her but then again her blindfold did appear to be a dead give away that she was well different. But wait weren't all of these others kids different like her? "Gah, make up your mind Cielo! Move your feet come on! Just go inside! Ahh-" walking into the classroom she tripped and landed on her chin. All of her belongings went everywhere and she hoped no one had seen that. Slowly getting up she rubbed her chin and fixed her pony tail before gathering her supplies. She quickly grabbed the nearest seat she could away from everyone else. Far away. "Great start, uh huh." She said palming her face.

Stewart looks at the new girl then turns to Kanari, "One sec." He says to Kanari before getting up and walking over to the girls desk, "Uh, hey, are you ok? It looked like you had a nasty trip." He smiles under his gas mask, "We all have those moments." He chuckles to himself.
