'Hey. So sorry about that.' Llaryssa apologized to him 'if I didn't go the librarian might chew me up. Heard that she cursed a student before.' She shrugged as put her bag on her lap. She glance up, feeling that someone was looking at them and she was right She met the pair of eyes of a girl. Llaryssa offered a small smile at her and wonder if she should introduce herself.


Looking back at Mako, she touched his shoulder and asked with an uncertain voice, 'Hope you don't mind. but what happened to you?' she felt herself blush so she continued. 'You didn't actualy tried to hide to me, you know!'

Gears smiled down at the strange cat "Well Sphynx. Its a pleasure to meet you" He tickled his chin slightly. He looked back over to the Haru.


"So where are you from?" Gears was running his hand over Sphynxes smooth fur. He felt like an evil master mind.

"What do you mean what happened to me? And try to hide to you? I don't follow?" Mako said confused. He didn't understand what she meant by what happened to him. As far as he knew he was perfectly fine. He felt a pair of eyes watching them as the stare was creeping him out. He turned around and saw a girl looking at them. He wondered why she was alone. Did she have any friends? Or maybe she was a loner who wasn't the social type. Either way it goes he wasn't going to confront her and get all in her business if she didn't want him to.

Gears didnt really understand what Haru was saying but went along with it anyway.

Gears nodded his head "Never really got the chance to swim or anything..." He hadn't thought about it before but he really has never been in water before.


He just sat there and continued to pet Sphynx happily.

Gears smiled up at Haru "So what are you doing now? You could have a seat and join us?" Gears liked this guy, he was a little timid but he seemed genuinely nice so there was nothing wrong with that.

'Those things....' Finally Llaryssa tried pointing his back. 'Your scars, I mean. Well you did change in front of me remember?' She pointed out. She wants to ask if he was abused as a child but Llaryssa held her tongue. She figured that it was too rude to ask such things.

[The Odd Jester]

"Ow ow ow ow ow!" Ryuu would say quietly as his ear was pulled by the Teacher. Huh..what to do...getting a bit too much attention from someone way too fast, and a scary teacher no doubt! Imaginary sweat would pour off Ryuu as he silently contemplated his choices. Oh! Wait! Right! His schedule! Hm hm, genius as always...without further ado he'd begin pulling out his schedule, but stop as he realized something. Wait a minute...from the looks of it the teacher doesn't seem like someone who'd let a guy get away with lazing around just cause he'd came in and it was his free period...wait. I also have powers. I should've thought about that before. "Oh..ah ha ha ha...speaking of which--huh? Is that a flying were-dragon or something?"


Wondering if he'd find himself out of sight from the teacher, he'd shrug, teleporting 30 feet off and running. After a few quick jogs he'd repeat this teleporting process two more times around various parts of the campus. "Whew...woah...ok...I should be far off. Hm hmm...depending on what they can do they'll probably catch up to me.." Sighing, Ryuu would walk off, beginning to calm down and just enjoy this period while it lasted.

"Ooohhh those." Mako replied as he rubbed his arm awkwardly. "Those are the injuries I have gotten in the past. The wounds healed but they became scars, reminders of my failures, mistakes, and near deaths." It was a touchy subject to talk about for him. From when he was beaten near death in a gladiator arena to being enslaved by the demon that came through the portal. He knew that he wasn't no where near the peak of the best he could be and the scars were reminders of him to always become better so that he can protect the ones he love and make sure that they bodies are not scarred like his. "Sorry if I darkened the mood. I was hoping that you wouldn't know about my scars till later on. But I hope that know that you know one of my secrets we can still be friends."

He told Llaryssa that he was a traveller, and she anticipated that he could be in a fight, like lots of fight, after all he is a boy. From what she knows boys like to play rough. 'Just because you've had a lot of near death instances, that doesn't mean I don't want to be friends with you.' Llaryssa smiled genuinely then added , 'I was going to say I had my fair share of risking my life and a couple of scars to prove it but I heal quickly.' She joked hoping to steer the mood to other direction.


'Right...' She forced a smile and asked. ' The scary teacher, how was she?'

Mariel suddenly jumped on the table. "I'm bored. This is boring. This place is boring. This guy is especially boring.", she cried out as she pointed at some random dude in the cafe. "Let's do something fun..."

He jumped back onto his bike and beckoned her over.

Mariel wrapped her arms around him tightly again. "Yay. Music is great. I love music. Do you love music?", she asked, her voice nearly overjoyed. "Sure you do. Everyone loves music. How could one not love music."

Gears drove the bike over to the music building. He parked the bike out the front and kicked the stand down. He got of the bike then picked Mariel up and put her on the ground "Well here we are!"

Abraham was sitting in the music room. There wasn't meant to be anymore classes in this room for a couple of hours, so he decided to relax and write some poems in here. His poems were more of mystical diary entries than anything. Today, he was writing about the new kid he was going to give a detention, Ryuu. He wrote with a feather and ink on old parchment from a leather bound notebook. He wrote in cursive but it was readable.

Mariel took Gears hand and ran into the Music block. A man sat there, writing something. She hopped next to the man and looked at him interestedly. "What are you doing?", she curiously asked.

Abraham set his feathery pen down and put the cap back onto the ink. This girl looked like trouble. He seemed to be running into a lot of troubling students today. "I could ask you the same question, miss." He looked at his nice silver watch, he still had at least half an hour before he should vacate the room. She noticed the boy who was with her, they looked like they should be father and daughter.

'Well I came down from heaven and my new big brother showed me around and then I wanted to go to the music block to sing and play music a little so we went here and then I saw you and I asked you what you do and you asked me and I explained.", she said without stopping and breathed heavily afterwards. She kept smiling. "I am Mariel, an angel. And who are you? And what are you writing? May I read it?"

For a moment, he was dumbfounded. In all his years of teaching had he ever met a girl quite like her. "I'm Mr. Peters, I teach mathematics. I'm writing a poem and you may not. It's not finished yet." He explained, talking very slowly to make up for how quickly she talked.

"Oh, can you inform me when its ready I love poems. I hope we will be friends. But you won't like me in the lessons, I'm bad at mathematics. Really bad. But you seem nice, I'm sure you can make me understand. Well, I will go to sing now, but feel free to join us when you as ready.", she said, her speed similar to a machine gun. She hugged him, took gears hand and pulled him towards the instruments.
