Fantasy The Academy _Dropped _

Llaryssa found the book she was looking for. It was like an ordinary leather bound book on the outside, an embossed title written in an ancient language was consuming the whole front cover.
But as soon as she opened it, the magic of the book unravels. Each page that tackles a different forms of magic comes out of the books like a pop up but more magical and dangerous. Llaryssa was skimming the page about fire magic when suddenly someone said "Hey, again." Llaryssa yelp as the fire in the book licked her skin when she nearly throw the book away due to shock. It was Mako inside a familiar shimmering red light. A portal. He was smiling as if he was proud at what he was doing.


'What the hell, Mako!' She hissed. 'You scared the crap out of me!'

"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean it." Mako replied with a slight laugh. "I just wanted to see that pretty face off yours." He said with a smile. Within a few seconds he realized what he said as his face turned crimson red. "I didn't mean it that way. I swear." Mako said in a denying tone. Even though he denied it his mind thought differently. @TheTraveller
 
Gears kicked out a chair and said "Take a seat"


He was smiling childishly up at Haruki. He let go of his hand and slouched back down in his seat.


"Is it okay if i call you Haru? Or do you have a preferred name?"
 
'Flattery won't take you anywhere, Mister!' Llaryssa pouted. She was a bit pissed but she felt also awed by magic that was happening. 'Wow....' She said 'so this is what's going to happen if I said those words you scribbled on the paper? This.... This is amazing!' She tried touching the shimmering light but afraid it might do something bad at her. 'So.. How was your class? Mine was.... Weird. Hope yours was better.' Llaryssa pouted again.

Gears wasn't sure if he was offending him or not "Whats the matter Haru? You dont seem too well" He wasnt sure how to read this new person.


"You too Mariel" He said looking down at the little girl "Take a seat"

"O-oh n-no I-I'm f-fine." "I-I'm j-just..." Haruki was interrupted by Sphynx, his cat, jumping on the table and answering for him. "He's just shy." She said to Gears. @Blacknife
 
Gears almost kicked the table through the roof.


"That...is a talking cat" He said leaning in closer.


"A cat that talks..." He said again trying to wrap his head around it.


"Why does your cat talk?"

"Well I had to fight another student and the teacher who was there that scared the demon, she's the teacher. So it was quite the experience. I met some other people today seemed sorta weird but cool guys." Mako explained to her. He got up from where he was sitting as he looked through his bag for a dry shirt. "I feel that this school is gonna be very interesting. " He said as he took off his shirt. Through the portal his upper body was showing as his scars could be clearly seen. His doctor told That his body was 30% scar tissue but to him it felt like more than that.

'Wait, what?!' Llaryssa exclaimed a bit louder than usual. 'You mean Anastacia?? That's amazing!' She said. 'Well, whatever you do sure hell beats what we did, meditation.' Llaryssa said glumly. She was so busy pitying herself, she lately realizes that Mako was taking his shirt off. Llaryssa was about to warn him but then she saw his scars...


'What happened to y---' she was cut off when the librarian peered from the bookshelf and said 'Young lady, this is a library. As you can see other students are here to study and you.... Are distracting them.' Her voice was hoarsed and scary. 'Now I suggest, leave if you want to continue that meeting of yours... Or if you wish to stay then cut off that portal and be quiet.'


Llaryssa face turned into beet red. With a silent apology, the librarian turned her back on her. 'Hey Mako, i'll be at the bench. The librarian might kill me if I stay here. Sorry!' She said silently as she packed her things. She didn't know how to end the portal but seeing thag it was Mako, she just dashed out of the room and head towards the bench.

"Well damn..." Said Gears slouching his his chair again.


He shook his head before asking "So Haru! What brings you to the school...apart from the talking cat of course"
 
Gears lent forwards to get a better view "That kinda cool.." He said inspecting the ball of water.


"Can you do that with any water around or does it need to be like...salt water?"


Gears was genuinely curious in this boys powers. They wernt the most powerful one he has ever seen but it is cool non the less.

"Sounds like it was, peaceful." Mako said with a laugh as the portal followed her to the bench. "Give me a few minutes and I'll meet you there." Mako said as he didn't hear her finish her sentence asking about his scars. He walked out the gym as he jogged towards where Llaryssa was, closing the portal. "Hey Llaryssa." Mako yelled as he joked towards her direction wearing basketball shorts a blue sleeveless shirt and blue sneakers.

Gears smiled slightly as he lent back in his chair "So could you do that too people. They are like 90 percent water?"


He was curios as to how his powers worked and if he could use them to do something ridiculous.


He lent in closer so as too hear him better before he looked at the cat and said "Uh...do you mind if i pat you?"

Lilian had went through the motions of the day haphazardly, her thinking on what she would do when the day's lessons were over. The first class she had today was okay enough, even though the teacher seemed to have a superiority complex about himself which seemed to be a regular occurrence in teachers now-a-days. Regardless, she made her way to the local cafe which was operated on campus and decided to get her usual after school item. She thought about going to see how Masumi was but at the same time figured that she was probably still out and about, seeing as how most students were still in classes and so on. So with that in her mind she ordered her usual white chocolate mocachino and took a seat at one of the table lining the front of the building, her at the moment feeling like she would prefer a spot out of the cafe to enjoy her drink.


After a few seconds of sitting she took a sip of the drink, red fullness appearing upon her cheeks as she reveled in the sweet goodness of the beverage. "Delicious," she simply said aloud and then took another sip of the mocha, her quite content in this moment.

Anastasia

Anastasia took the time after her classes to chill for a bit, seeing as how she wasn't really a teacher to the core after all. In all honesty teaching classes and dealing with students on a day to day wasn't something that she figured she would be doing at any point in her life, her only really taking this job in the first place as a favor for the Headmistress of the academy. She did however see how a lot of the students in this school are headstrong and rather foolish in their own assumptions of their power, which is a fools game in her mind. She has always taught her daughter Lilian to never simply assume that your opponent is weaker than yourself, for such a thing would only lead to your inevitable destruction. That rule however seems to be something that most have not passed on to the generation at which she is dealing with now.


She leans back into the tree and lets out a light sigh as the branch supports her weight, her saying in a passive tone, "Least it won't be dull..."

Via parted ways with Isabella about half way through the day, her not having every class with her after all. Although she was a bit sad at that turn of events she figured such a thing would only allow her to have more opportunities to meet different and interesting individuals in this school. She had wanted to talk with other students but it seemed that the teachers as a whole today wanted to cram as much as they could into their heads, which was a bit of a bummer to Via. So at the moment she is sitting atop one of the bleachers, her hearing a conversation of some sort between some people. (Mako and Llaryssa) She had thought about introducing herself but it seemed as through the were rather involved in some kind of debate or discussion at the moment so she just looked at them rather confuzzled as to what in the heck they were talking about.


After a bit of that the girl ran out and left the guy there, her seeming to be embarrassed or something. 'Odd people in this school, odder every second actually,' she thought to herself as she cocked her head at the odd sight.
 
"W-well, I-I c-can g-get r-rid o-of p-poisons a-and v-viruses i-in p-people's b-bodies. I-It d-doesn't r-reverse t-the e-effects a-already d-done t-though." Haruki said to Gears. "Yes!" Sphynx said excitedly. @Blacknife
 
Gears held out a hand and ran it across the cats back "Whats your name by the way?" he wasn't sure what to chat about now. He wasnt really good with the whole talking to people thing most of the time and this shy dude wasn't helping.


"So wear where you from originally?"
 
"My name is Sphynx." "I came from somewhere not too far away that's full of other creatures like me." "It's not just cats." Sphynx says, grinning.
