Gears looked up from where he was sitting by the wall next to his bike. He saw the other guy that gave him a hand carry the winged dude into the infirmary "hi...how is he?" He assumed that they where mates or something because of how quick he got there
Ryo looked up at Kurai once she finished getting their things from the lady behind the counter. "Well, do you want to go sit with her?" Kurai asked, a gentle smile on her face. the boy looked a little embarrassed, since he hasn't thought about talking to someone knew in a while, and nodded,"Yeah.."
"Alright'y," Kurai led the way over to the girl, letting Ryo climb into the booth before she did. "hello!" "Hi.."
Lilian takes a sip of her moca as the two of them slide in opposite her into the booth, the girl greeting her as she does so as well as the boy. She simply stares at them for a moment as she takes one other sip of her moca her replying as she sits the drink down on the table, "Hello." With that said she goes ahead and asks a rather blunt and to the point question, her wondering about it when she first saw the both of them, "Are the two of you together? Or are you related?" The way they acted together would lean to one or the other and Lilian was curious as to which one it was, seeing as how they were pretty friendly toward each other. She simply cocked her head to the side as she awaited an answer to her question, her staring emotionless at the two of them.
Sighing, Rey walked slowly through the halls wondering what he was to do with the day. To many people... to many people...... He thought quietly to himself while weaving between small groups of students. Eventually he just decided to simply find a spot outside to waist away some time. Pushing open a door with one shoulder, Rey surveyed the area for a satisfying spot. Finally. A reasonably quiet place. Sitting down and rummaging through his disorganized backpack he found what he was now searching for. His favorite book. Placing it on his knees and carefully running a finger over the pages, he found where he had last left off.
Ryo's gaze shifted to the wall, his expression turning into one of minor disgust when she asked if they were 'together' before nibbling at his bagel. Kurai replied to her question, chuckling a little nervously,"Ahhaha..No, No, it's neither of those. Not exactly. " She quickly glanced at Ryo to confirm whether or not he was wearing that sour look again, as he did when people asked him a question of that sort. It was not a surprise to Kurai considering he never did like girls romantically, especially after the stuff that happened in middle school. She looked back at The Girl as she continued her reply,"We might as well be siblings, though. We've been together since birth." The tengu blinked and took a swig of her coffee, her own tone being one of honest, friendly chatter, "I'm honestly a little surprised you asked so bluntly- most people who want to know beat around the bush forever."
Lilian swallowed the bite of bagel she had taken as the girl opposite her replied to her earlier question, her then replying with a slight tilt to her head as she does so, "I do not see the point in doing so, if I want to know something I simply ask." She pauses and takes a sip of her moca, letting out a light sigh as it goes down a bit of red appearing on her cheeks as she does so. "I have no problem answering any question so I see no need in not asking any question," her reasoning was sound in her mind seeing as how she simply speaks her mind and doesn't really weigh in being blunt when she does so. It's not because she is a bad person it's just that she doesn't read emotional cues or body language well, which can be seen through her lack of emotional cues or difference in tone when she speaks. With that said she extends her hand in a handshake to the girl, her saying as he does so, "Lilian Alucard."
Kurai nodded as the girl spoke, signifying her listening to what she said as she ate one of her scones. It made sense to her, the girls explanation, and it was kind of respectful. When the girl reached a hand out and introduced herself as Lilian Alucard, Kurai met her hand with her own in return,"Kurai Nekoma. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Ryo continued to eat his bagel as he watched them. He didn't know whether or not it was wanted for him to introduce himself at the time. All he really knew was that he was getting sleepy again, and he kind of wanted to go to the library before class started. Even so, he decided he would at least attempt to join in after Kurai spoke, "I'm Ryo.."
"Likewise," She says to Kurai and then looks over to Ryo when he spoke up a small bit, him seeming to be a quite type of person around people he doesn't know. She hasn't really spoken to people that harbor that sort of personality trait, seeing as how up until now the people she has met were more or less talkative. With that in mind she says with a nod over to him, 'It is nice to meet you Ryo." After she does that she lifts up her moca yet again and takes a sip of it, that same flush of light red appearing on her cheeks as she does so. It becoming apparent that she likes the white chocolate in the moca, seeing as how that's the only time her face shows any sign of change.
She simply takes a bite of her bagel as she awaits the two of them to say something, her figuring that they might want to speak about something now or sit in awkward silence which ever.
"It's nice to meet you, too." Ryo nodded gently and ate a little more of his bagel until it was gone. It was a little more than he wanted, considering he wasn't very hungry to begin with, but at least he got himself to eat. He glanced at Kurani who was eating and drinking her coffee, then to Lilian, "So, uh, do you like video games?" Kurai coughed a little when Ryo asked that, though it was a noise of amusement. Listening to Ryo try to converse with strangers was always a bit amusing to her unless he was angry, but it was a step up from him backing away from communication.
Lilian had finished her bagel for the most part, her simply taking one more sip of her moca as the boy Ryo asked her something, him seeming to be unaccustomed to speaking with people. She didn't really mind video games but they were not a central part of her life as to some people, her figuring that she liked the well enough she supposed. With that in mind she nods replying as she sat her cup down, "Yes I suppose that I enjoy them well enough, it has been a while since I have logged on to one though." Back when she was younger she did in fact give video games a fair shake, playing MMO games and some console games here and there but they eventually were phased out with reading, music, and other aspects of her life. She paused for a moment and asked the boy with a slight tilt to her head, "What kinds do you enjoy playing Ryo?"
Ryo blinked when he was asked a question and averted his gaze to the right,"Well, I enjoy playing a lot of games...MMORPG's, tcg's, ttg's.." He trailed off before he got a little out of hand with the list,"..I don't have a lot of them now days, though...Mostly just hand held games." Looking back at Lilian, he wasn't sure what else he should say. Kurai finished eating her food and was looking at her watch that didn't seem to be working, "Ah, I'm sorry to interrupt, but would you happen to know what time it is?" She was a little worried, not wanting to be late for her class and unable to tell exactly how much time had passed.
Lilian listened to what Ryo had to say and then was drawn by a question from Kurai, it consisting of what time it was currently. She glanced over at the clock that was behind them on the wall, her replying with a slight nod, "About a quarter till first period." Lilian didn't have a first period class but she still woke up anyway, seeing a show she didn't see a need to skew her sleep all out of wack. With that said she added with a slight nod over to them, "If you have a first period class you should probably get there soon, depending on where it is it could take a while." With that said she stands from the booth and lightly bows to the both of them, saying, "It was nice to meet the two of you, Ryo...Kurai," she pauses straightening back up and then adds with a nod, "I do hope that we can speak more in the future."
She says before taking her leave of the two of them, "Now if you excuse me I should attend to something." With that she walks away from them her making her way back to the girl dorms, figuring on checking on Masumi while she has nothing else to do at the moment. She walks up to the door of her room and lightly knocks on the door, saying, "Mi, may I come in?"
Gears sat there for a while longer before heading to his class. He brought the bike back to the tech building and set about working on it again "Who was that guy?" Was the one thought still in his head. He kept himself busy tho not many students had things they. He worked till lunch when he headed back to one of the cafes where he got himself a coffee and sandwich again. He sat by the window, the one facing the courtyard, and happily ate his meal.
A pile of tissues now sat inside her trash bin. Covered in snot and all kinds of different fluids that came out of her nose as she sneezed. With a miserable headache, she scribbles work down onto a peace of paper. Doing homework while sick should have been a crime, but it had to get done sometime. Her head had been down on her desk for the past couple minutes as she had tried to keep working on homework. Though, she had been defeated by the boredom. A knock at her door causes her head to suddenly rise from her desk, hitting her head on the bookshelf above. "Owch." She says to herself. Recognizing the voice as Lilian's she smiles, then sneezes. "It's unlocked! Come on in." She shuts her book and swings around in her swivel chair as she waits for her to enter. Hands in her lap.
Ryo and Kurai both bowed their heads in return, speaking almost in sync, "It was nice to meet you too." When the girl disappeared, Kurai grabbed her coffee and stood, moving out of the way so that Ryo could slide out of the boot as well. "I have to go to a class first period, you'll be okay for a while?" Ryo nodded, adjusting the headphones hung around his neck in thought as he spoke,"Yes, of course...I'll probably go to library or something." "Alright," Kurai patted the boy on his head and left with him trailing behind her. However, they went separate ways outside of the main building.
Kurai went and got her things for her first class. Making it to class early, she had a bit of time to finish her homework before the class started. When she finished, she placed her hands on her head and prepared to listen to the teacher drone on.
Ryo looked around for a bit before heading to the library to pick out a book since his game system wasn't working. Once he made it to the library, he began to search through the different sections and genres, looking for a book that caught his interest. It took him a bit, but when he did find one he checked it out and left the library, heading outside so he could find a good place to read to pass the time. He didn't want to sit on the ground due to rain the previous night- it would be a mess for his clothes. So, he found a bench and sat, bringing his feet up to the bench as he began to read. After a moment or two, he slid his headphones on and pressed play, letting the music play while he continued to read.
Lilian opens the door and walks inside, the first thing she was was the wastebasket of tissues which obviously indicated that she was indeed sick. With that Lilian took a step inside and looked over at Masumi, her then walking up to her placing her forehead to Masumi's forehead as he mother does to Lilian when she is sick. Lilian closed her eyes as she did so and realized that she was burning up, signifying that Masumi did indeed have a cold. She opens her eyes and then pulls back from Masumi, "You're burning up Mi, you should be resting." That in itself was pretty obvious, although Lilian figured that she wasn't one to sit on one place when she was all alone.
She pauses and double blinks as she stands next to Masumi, her asking with a slight tilt to her head, "Do you need me to do something for you?"
A little weight was lifted from her shoulders as she saw Lilian enter through the door. She may have been sick, but seeing a familiar face seemed to make her feel more comfortable. What starts as a small giggle, turns into a cough. "Yeah, I kinda figured.. But, I couldn't sleep." With that, she looks up at Lilian as she puts her hand on her forehead. With a small shake of her head she reply's. "No Lili, I'm fine, you should get to school. It just seems that our little picnic was a little much for me yesterday." She says with her usual Masumi smile. She didn't want to get Lilian sick either. But, the fact that she had come to check up on her filled her with glee. It reminded her of when she was a little girl, and her mother would come into her room late at night every hour to check to make sure she was ok while she was sick.
She replies to her after she finished what she was saying, her putting on a smile even though she was probably feeling pretty crappy, "I do not have a first period class so I currently have some free time." With that said she walks over to the bed and makes it up it a bit disheveled due to Masumi not making it earlier. "Due to you going out with me," she says stoically even though the words were pretty suggestive to anyone who heard them, "You have become sick, so while I have time on my hands I shall help you as I can." To be entirely truthful Lilian found this experience rather odd seeing as how her mother never needed her to do such a thing, so for now she was just going off of what her mother has done to make her at ease when she was sick. As she pulled the covers back for Masumi she glances over at her, adding in an uncharacteristically cute tone, "Besides, I want to."
Masumi stands as Lilian continues to speak. "Yeah, well ya know. It was totally worth it." She says with a smirk. And, it was. To her it would have been worth it if she had to do double the work in school. Because it made her happy. With Lilian's last comment, Masumi's smile returned to her face. She found herself smiling a lot around her. This seemingly emotion less girl, lightened up her day. And now, this girl wanted to spend her free time helping her feel better. The thought was strange, she had never really had anyone other than her mother care for her before. But Lilian was the second best person in the world capable of the job. With a nod, she reply's. "I'd actually really like that." Once her bed was made, she walks over and sits down on the side of it. Bringing her feet up and under the covers. "I want you to too." She smiles, pulling the covers over her body.
She lightly nods and says as she turns on her heal, "I will be right back Mi." With that she leaves the room to the kitchen area of the girls dormitory, which rarely gets used much seeing as how most of them just eat at the cafe of the cafeteria on campus. After an undetermined amount of time she had made what she went down to the kitchen for, her carrying it up the stairs on a moderately sized carrying tray. She opens the door to Masumi's room and walks in with the tray sitting it on the empty table by her bed which use to have the lamp. Lilian says as she kneels down beside the bed, gesturing to the items of food on the tray, "I have a hearty chicken soup, some green tea with honey, and some ginger bread, which all should assist in your recovery." She lifts the bowl of soup and takes the spoon in her hand, getting a bit of the soup on it.
She blows on the soup on the spoon a few times and then looks over to Masumi, her doing this because this is how her mother did it when she was sick.Lilian says looking over at Masumi, her holding the spoon out for her to take a bit, "Eat up Mi." All of this might have looked strange but Lilian relishes this kind of thing, especially when the person she is helping is someone she likes.
Once comfortable, resting her head on her softest pillow, Masumi watches as Lilian leaves her room. What for she really didn't know, but she had said she would be back. A few minutes past before she returned with a delicious smelling tray of something. Coming back around to her side of the bed she sets the tray down, and picks up a bowl full of chicken soup. A classic for sick days, and only the best. She hadn't expected this though. For Lilian to actually make her food and drink. She felt blessed. With a original Masumi smile, she takes her mouth and wrapes it around the spoon. The soup tasted like it was homemade, and made with care. It was amazing, and as it went down her throat it warmed her much like the coffee the two had shared the day before. Once down the hatch, she looks up at Lilian. "Did you make this?" She asks quietly.
She nods and continues to feed the soup to Masumi, blowing on it each time as she does so, "Mother showed me how." In truth one would not associate motherly duties to Anastasia, mainly because she can scare the crap out of you with just a few words but she worked hard and became the mother Lilian knew today. After a few bites Lilian sat the soup aside and lifted the Ginger water up for Masumi to take a sip, it having a straw in it so she could drink it easier, "Mother said one should know how to care for those that are special to you." She pauses and then adds with a light nod, putting the water back down on the tray after she drank some or not, "You are one such person Mi." Lilian felt rather close to this girl even though they have just met, her feeling something quite strange...something that she had never felt before.
Continuing to accept the soup, she feels her cheeks warm as she continues to think about the situation that she was currently in. It couldn't be anymore fairy tail than it was right now. Everything was just perfect. The soup, a cute girl feeding her, and being sick. It made being sick quite enjoyable really. "Well, it's very good" She says with a smile. Masumi's mother had never shown her how to cook. Rather she showed her how to bake. She couldn't make you dinner, but dam she could make a mean snicker-doodle. With her next bite, Lilian puts the soup down. Almost disappointing, she figures that it was enough and takes sips of the water she was offered. The smooth taste of ginger filled her mouth. Listing to Lilian as she spoke, she still sips on the water. Her face turns a shade of red as she takes the water away from her mouth. Smiling at Lilian, she reply's. "I suppose I should learn to take care of you too then hu?" It was her cheesy way of saying that Lilian was special to her too. Though, that was probably already obvious. "You're amazing, you know that?" The kindness this girl showed to her made her realize just how much she wanted to be with her more. Maybe, being more than friends was ok.. But, it would take time.. right?
"You're to kind," Lilian leans over Masumi and places a light kiss on her forehead like her mother use to when she was sick, her saying as he stood up, "Get better okay." She pauses and walks over to the doorway, her looking back over her shoulder adding, "And maybe we can have another sleep over Mi." The idea of that was something that Lilian liked, her rather enjoying having someone next to her while she slept. The fact that this person was Masumi only made it even better seeing how Lilian thinks fondly of her. With that said she opens the door and says before closing it, "I'll drop back by later after classes Mi, I'll see you then." With that she closes the door behind her, the door pulling to a close rather gently.
Lilian makes her way to second period, her having taken the previous day off but all of her classes are electives so she didn't think much of missing them.
