Fantasy Tales of Arcadia

Nacrud nodded, "I will accept your hospitality." He looked to the others, now registering that they were in fact there, and followed the man and his followers. Nacrud had not seen other dragonkin besides the ones from the villages in the desert. Seeing one live so naturally in this place, and to know another was with him, was a pleasant surprise to Nacrud. "However I must decline your offer to aid me directly in my search. I made an oath that I would find them myself in honor to the memories of my fallen comrades who died before they had a chance." Nacrud's thoughts finally clicked together from Peter's earlier statement, "I would be willing to trade my own services for any information on the relics I seek though. I cannot however reveal the relics' identities here or now." It was true that help would make his quest easier, but he couldn't allow just anyone to know of the primal stones. He didn't think the other dragonkin would know of them due to their lives with the human in his society, but he could easily be wrong. "I hope you understand the importance they hold to my people, me especially."

The girl furrowed her brows, but dropped her hand to her side and away from the dagger. She hoped her staff would not be seen as a sign of hostility, for it wasn't uncommon for those in the desert to carry them. She didn't shy away as Evasus suddenly turned and touched one of his long fingers to her forehead, but doubled over and wrapped her arms around herself as a pain invaded her head.

It receded quickly, but was replaced by a new flood of knowledge. A whole other language, and an almost unknown one at that, was now known to her. Her breath came out in short gasps at the excitement of it all, and she caught back up with Evasus. She followed its gaze to see several huge behemoths, most likely dragonkin. Any tales should had heard of them were certainly leagues away from how magnificent, and how truly frightening they looked.

It wasn't long before they were spotted, and three of them stood waiting for the travelers.

@Cailfox

As the dragonkin approached Evasus stopped and held out an arm in front of Teftin for her to stop as well. "The world traveler is here again I see. What brings you here, and with a human for that fact..." Evasus bowed slightly, "The human has a name and it is Teftin. As for my business here, that is a matter that concerns only the elders." The dragonkin growled and turned to one of his companions, "Go inform the elders that the world traveler seeks audience." The female nodded and quickly darted back beyond the rocks. The male then turned back to Evasus and Teftin. "Drava here will take you to your quarters world traveler, as well as your guest." He eyed the much shorter human and even shorter Evasus with slight distaste however he took no physical action. The other male, Drava turned and walked towards the rocks, motioning for the two travelers to follow. Evasus followed and (assuming you're going along) pushed Teftin slightly ahead of him.

As they passed the rocks they could see the village. What they called a village could be called a small town or even city in the terms of humans, the buildings looked much like the desert ruins, so much so that they could very well be ruins themselves. Two buildings however were very noticeable, a tower that rose far into the skies in the center of the village, strangely unnoticed outside the village, and what looked to be a coliseum carved from the mountain behind the village itself. Evasus looked to them and spoke, "Those are very sacred places to these dragonkin and for good reason. The tower is where the elders dwell, the dragonkin believe it was once the sanctum of one of the dragon aspects from ancient Arcadia. They believed that the aspect that dwelled in these deserts protected time itself, having the ability to travel to any point in time with his bronze colored children to defend or restore the timeline as it should be. The other is where the young are raised as well as where the monks of their people keep their history alive." Drava turned his head and made a comment, "You shouldn't be telling the human our people's customs and beliefs." Evasus ignored the dragonkin's comment, "I'd rather her know and not trespass where she should not be rather than be clueless and be punished for her lack of knowledge."

Melody stood at the door with the small parcel in hand, letting her

hand lightly brush across the wooden surface, giving a very faint

but audible knock.

And so she waited, letting her gaze look over the light grains of the

simple wooden box, humming quietly to herself. She let in a short breath

and exhaled, feeling rather tense after another long day, but soon she

perked herself up as she always had. She took a step back from the door,

patiently waiting, as that was simply who she was. Patient and reserved.

@Latorrex

Lady Adelaide had traveled for quite some time across Arcadia from Grandalia. Eventually she ran into a researcher's guild which interested her due to the possibility of new magic of healing. As she walked in she noticed that things were not very busy which did not bother her at all. Turning her head she noticed a blonde girl standing with a box in her hands. Taking her white and red accented hood off she  walked over and held out a black gloved hand with a smile that seemed to light up the room. Her silver hair seeming to glow as well as her melodic voice seemed to calm the room with happiness. "My name is Adelaide, what might your name be miss?"

@Latorrex

              Melody had looked up to the woman, a bit startled, though she

seemed eased by the mere presence of the woman. She hadn't known who she

was or what she did, but she was most certainly intrigued. She tilted her head at

the lady seeming concerned if anything. She perked up as she allowed the box

to rest easily in one hand, her fingertips coming into contact with hers. She

shook her hand, nodding to her.

"Ah, Melody, My Lady. Good evening."

             She states in her own coo, her eyes searching the woman's face.

Adelaide giggled as Melody spoke, "There's no need for the formal greeting Melody." She then brushed a hand through her hair, ruffling her hair before taking a deep breath. "Aren't places like this wonderful? So much knowledge being gathered and uncovered..."

Teftin, who had been gazing around herself, was a bit startled when she was suddenly stopped by Evasus. But she soon gathered herself and bowed with her companion, listening to the words that it and the dragonkin exchanged. She was still amazed by the fact that she could understand their speech, so she simply listened without saying a word.

It wasn't hard to see that the dragonkin who was leading them disapproved of a human coming to their settlement, but he seemed to have even a small degree of respect for Evasus. He also knew him, and called him a "world traveler." Teftin listened with interest as Evasus told her of certain buildings and her purposes, logging the information down in her mind.

"It is truly a privilege to be among your people," stated the girl quietly to Drava in his own tongue, hoping to change his opinion of her. "Your culture has survived in the harshest of places for centuries, and that is no small feat."

Vaehra Baelnareon

So much had happened all at once Vaehra was slightly taken aback by it all. The crowd had cleared out in a matter of minutes by one of Peters henchmen. She found the whole thing quite ridiculous, feeling this man was only trying to prove his influence among the townspeople. Making note of the mans interest with the Dragonkin, seeing he spent more of his energy attempting to make the Dragonkin more comfortable. Vaehra had smirked at Peters speech about betraying his trust, though it quickly dropped when his eye made their way to her. She thought to mess with him, perhaps morph her appearance for a split second, although with the current situation she thought it not to be the best idea. Pursing her lips as she drew her hood back up over her head, blocking the sun from her eyes. Before she knew it they began to move forward, catching her slightly off guard. Quickly she caught up with the others, taking note of Peter's entourage. It was quite humorous, how different the two were, especially when compared to their leader. Although it somehow seemed to flow, even though they were quite different it seemed to be a perfectly planned. Although Vaehra knew from experience there was nothing truely perfect in the human world.

    Away they walked. Alex followed the pack as they parted the crowd if people. Some were smiling kindly, some glaring with hatred, but no one interrupting.

    'This guy Peter must have a lot of pull here.' The man hadn't gave it a second thought to make a grand public appearance. Whether he was trust worthy remained to be seen, but Alex felt the guy was as genuine as any mercenary could be.

    'Still annoying though.' Alex hated to be called boy. He was almost 17 but standing at 5'4 and lightweight at that, he was never taken seriously. 'I can't wait to show that I'm no....'

    Alex's thoughts were interrupted by a yell and looked up to see the high and mighty Peter get slugged. Above him stood someone from the crowd, though he looked different from the normal townsfolk.

    Alex unsheathed his swords halfway, in case there were more people, but if not he would leave it to Peter. 'More fighting, I love it.'

Evasus gave a small chuckle, "The deserts are hardly anything close to harsh to dragonkin. In fact the few dragonkin societies that exist inhabit deserts, mountains, and even islands. The only village that has ever had trouble surviving in their environment would be the frostridge tribe that dwell in the icy mountains." Drava hissed his displeasure, "You speak too freely world traveler..." Evasus sent the dragonkin a sharp headache, "I am also the reason why you live still. Or have the tales of the corruption been forgotten so soon?" The dragonkin shook his head in pain and stopped in front of a small structure with a straw roof. "The elders will send for you when they're ready." Evasus nodded and walked in to stand and stare out one of the windows.

Peter

Saw the young man sweep out in front of him, able to ready himself for the swift punch; he didn't so much as reel from the impact, either it wasn't enough or he wouldn't be so easily faltered. The two at his sides did nothing, Orion even chuckled a little bit. Maybe they knew better. "One. You get one. Bratty little child. If it wasn't for how immature and arrogant you acted I'd split you in two right now; feed you to Gruck's brother." His face was grim, dark as death's door itself; suddenly he cracks a smile, a slight discoloration showing where he had been punched, "You should work on your form, if that was the best you had in ya; I reckon a little girl could take you down before you even give her a bruise. I'm assuming you'd have to pick fights with children with your lack of ability." If he was angered any longer he did a remarkable job of hiding it. He stops, some people that had made a point to head to the side of the narrow dirt path they walked actually looked stunned; fearful, curious, nervous. All of their eyes were on the young man who had struck Peter, as if all of what they felt was for him.

"Why should you believe me? That is not for me to say, it is your decision; I am not god, a king, nor your master." As the young man drew his sword, Peter let out a sigh, "I guarantee you I am the most patient man you'll ever meet, some may say not so forgiving; I agree with those few. I'll offer you a chance to stay your hand, continue on with us, and find homage in what I supply." He didn't seem to adopt a defensive stance, his hand never came to the hilt of his sheathed longsword, "If you continue on, know that I will not consider any dreams of the future you have; I will cut you down. You are young. Please do not make me take a budding life for such a stupid, careless reason." He held a genuine look of sadness for the thoughts he had of what this may become.

Melody murmured quietly, letting her eyes fall against the door and then lowered to the box in her hand. She offered the woman a smile.

"But.. I thought I caught you say travel? If you have any stories I am willing to listen as I wait, My Lady."

Why were these dragonkin so protective of their culture? As Teftin followed Evasus into the small house, she glanced back at Drava, who was walking away. Sure, she would never pick a fight with something twice her size, but she was still curious. What did they have to hide?

The girl murmured, "How do they know you? And why do they fear you? What are you, really?" Her arms hugged herself as she turned to face the being that had led her here.

Evasus looked to Teftin, "They know me because I visit them often, they fear me because I know more about them and their past than they know themselves. As for what I am... I am cursed with this form and immortality, blessed with all knowledge, and guardian of lore better kept forgotten. You have seen what I once was, and how I became cursed." It was true, Evasus was once a simple spirit who got too curious and was punished for his curiosity. "That is why I am known to more ancient species as the world traveler... that is what I am, it is my punishment." As he finished another dragonkin walked in, a small female that was actually rather short compared to the rest, a mere seven feet tall. "The elders will see you now world traveler."

Peter

NPCs

Peter scoffs a bit, "Honestly, I have a plethora of some of the most powerful individuals in the world working for me. Maybe if everyone knew that, they wouldn't do something so silly." He gives a shake of his head and moves along, "Sometimes people compare me to a Lord or a King who likes to be at the top but cowers behind strong warriors. I may be near the top, but among the ones I offer a home to... A family to." He doesn't bother adding onto it with a clear statement, "There's a reason strong men and women of all races seek to be a part of what we have created." He now, finally, offers a glance over his shoulder, "My reach only extends to the borders of this barony, but the contracts I have received showed our exploits being spread across the continent." Peter seems to lighten up a bit as his eyes widen at a surely wondrous sight, as it was always such for him. The exterior of a rather large, luxurious mansion of a structure; if it wasn't clear before, might be now: He is a bit of a show off, doing so however he can. He turns on his heel, starting to back pedal, "This, lady and gentlemen... Is our 'guild' hall, our headquarters if you will. The Home of the Ebonwolf. My legacy for many, many generations to come." Maybe a rare few knew his name outside of this town, but an even rarer few would have gone without at least an earful of the name of his organization.

He appeared proud of what it has become, "Enough of that, even I am making myself sick with all of my dramatic presentations and what have you..." Peter gives a lighthearted chuckle and turns back around; still moving towards the building, "Stroll around, meet heroes you may have heard of, those you haven't." His hands come up to push open the seemingly large double doors, the noise instantly erupts; funnily at that, when stood outside you won't even hear a rat scuffling about. Orion is instantly towards the bar, Gruck goes to sit where he was before this whole ordeal. "Drink, eat; if you aren't interested in that, there's a library, a bathhouse, and the rooms you'll be provided down..." He gestures towards an opening in the wall to the east, that leads down a long hallway, "That-away." He steps up to the bar, "Pork." He calls out, a stout, short dwarf responds with a, "Aye?" The individual's head just barely visible, "Free drinks and meals for these lot; if anyone gives them trouble, send for me or deal with it yourself." He receives a nod of understanding. The goings on of the tavern-like part of the building were what should be suspected; fight-capable looking individuals sitting at tables sharing stories of their conquest, contracts, or simply to get ears to listen to them. Some sat in silence, some were passed out drunk, but all of those who happened to be awake paid Peter at the very least a glance of acknowledgement.

With the preparations out of the way, "Nacrud..." He breathes aloud, stepping towards the dragonkin, "You might find knowledge in the library, we have many tomes on the subject of relics; quite a few about some that do not have names. A dragonkin shaman that was making a pilgrimage back to his home saw fit to give me three; two were written by scholars of other races, the one was a journal he found himself glad to be rid of. I don't know how widespread among your people the tale of such relics are, but I hope this information helps you in your quest. I do not ask anything serious in return, except that you make known the name of Ebonwolf while you further your travels. I haven't the time to hire publicity specialists, advertisers, that sort of thing." Peter offers the dragonkin a warm smile, he appeared sincerely glad to be of any help. His attention would soon turn to the woman and the young man who hadn't struck him, "I have yet to know your names, if you'd rather keep it that way; at least give me something to call you of which you see fit to be called." A happy medium if a real name didn't work, he assumed. "If you..." His eyes center on the younger individual, "Wish to pick fights, do so wisely; some of the men and women in this room would give me a hard time if we ever came to blows... That is saying a lot about their ability." He speaks to them in general now, "If any of you come across someone claiming to work under our brand, ask them to reveal their mark before anything else; if they refuse to, they are lying. Just so you can always have my assistance out there short my actual presence. All who take the oath are sworn to present their mark when it is asked of them." He gives a small smirk, "Those who are asked such will know you're special individuals. Give my name in any case of doubt." He then realizes something, "Oh, you'll have to know what it looks like." Peter reaches over to his right bicep and lifts up his sleeve, revealing the tattoo. "It looks simple, but no other artist can fake it; magic is a wonderful thing, especially enchantments. You can apply it to ink, which I had our Hermit do." Once they were satisfied he fixes his sleeve.

He rubs his hands together, feeling as though he got everything across, "My office and quarters are upstairs, last door on the left. Make sure you pick the right door." Hopefully at least one of them would catch him in the act. He makes his way towards the stairs, "Oh! And if you wish to honor our fallen, that wall there-" Gesturing to the northern wall, to the left of the recently stoked fireplace, "There may be some names you'd recognize. A lot of them have legendary status I've heard." Definitely not shy to mention any of the ups about his establishment. With that he heads up to his office, the door he opened was on the right side of the hallway; he left it ajar in case his attempt at a joke went over their heads. If they were to explore the premises; the facilities he mentioned earlier would all be generic in their appearance, the bathhouse having sections for both genders and a mixed bathing area. The library offered quite a selection but it wasn't grandiose; the diversity of the literature was vast due to the numerous regions they were from. The rooms would mirror each other, a single bed, a dresser for clothes, and a lockable chest for anything they wished to keep stored. The tavern itself was a bit nicer, tidier if you will than most others; the barkeep, Pork, as he was called, would be cleaning mugs and plates. Shouting orders to tavern wenches from time to time. Orion would be a bit more alive in this atmosphere, unlike his public impression. Gruck held a dead stare, as if work was never done.

(I kind of hoped you guys would come up with names to have on the wall, I don't mind figuring out all of them; if any of you want to assist me in it, I'd appreciate the help.)

Lady Adelaide smiled to Melody, "Of course I'll tell you of my adventures." She thought for a few moments of the adventures she'd had and chose to speak of her first. "It was my first adventure, the first time I left Grandalia. I was younger, and much more naive than I've become. I actually used to be a priestess at one of the temples, but I didn't think I was doing enough so I began studying magic until I eventually was kicked from the temple for doing so... it was sad but I accepted it and became a traveler, except I didn't really know how to fight." She lifted up her white coat and the shirt underneath to reveal three claw scars for a moment, "I wasn't very careful and was attacked in the forests outside of Grandalia, luckily someone came to my aide, but I learned that day that doing new things is often terrifying, even deadly if you're care free. Since then I've traveled Arcadia helping those I can whether it be someone to heal their wounds, someone to give advice, or just a friend to talk to."

@Kasuu

Nacrud nodded to the man and left the room in search of the library, perhaps he could get the information he was seeking in order to find the primal stones. There was only one way to find out.

@IMthatGUY @Aio @WolfInTheWoods @CNHart

It had been a month or so since he was last in the guild's halls and having a roof over his head was quite the nice change. As he entered he was acknowledged fairly quickly, and everyone who knew him, which was pretty much everyone, returned to their own activities. A few of them even threw bits of meat to Kodai's companion quill hound as they walked by. He ignored the newcomers, not much caring for them at the moment and went up the stairs and walking into the open door to the right where Peter was. Making a few yips and growls to his quill hound before speaking to Peter. "I've returned from my search. Regrettably the rumors were false, the beast was nowhere to be tracked, let alone found. I hope I haven't missed much while I was gone?"

@CNHart

                  Melody seemed enthralled by the story, her blue eyes widening as she listened

to the story. She seemed rather shocked at such a woman taking such a large risk such as going

out on her own such as that. It was fascinating to the short blonde, and that in of itself was very

obvious. She seemed to tilt her head as she spoke, taking in everything as Lady Adelaide spoke.

"Such stories are truely wonderful to hear, I must say!"

Peter was busy filling out paperwork relating to all manner of things one should tend to with a quill. He almost seemed to be enjoying himself, the silence the room presented happened to be music to his ears; the only occasional sound was a rough scratch against paper and the clinking of the quill tip against the ink pot as he refreshed the utensil to continue writing. His head raises to the sound of footsteps that break the barrier of his quiet bubble, he gives a smile to the young man, "Pup, it's good you're back...~" He pauses listening to Kodai's report. Peter sighs, though his smile does not fade, "A shame, I knew how much it would've meant for you to have another companion." His soft blue gaze shifts to the quill hound, a brief stop in conversation allowed him to open the middle right drawer of his desk; his hand rummages around in the compartment before producing a piece of jerky. "Good to see you again, too." He tosses the treat to the quill hound, no matter the outcome his attention falls back upon Kodai, "The bandits under... Whatshisname... Shiv? Shank? Something prison related...-" He shakes his head, "They've returned, east of here; I sent Kreeg to deal with it, but the Captain is asking for information on them regardless of whether or not I can produce an end to them. If you saw them on your way in..." He trails off, his point across.

He pats the desk a bit, "Something more interesting... Did you see a dragonkin on your way in?" Peter would continue no matter the answer, "His name is Nacrud, he's one from the desert;  in search of some relics. He was being harassed by some rowdy village folk, but didn't raise a fist. Probably a shaman." Seemingly satisfied with how he presented that information he moves on, "The woman, the blonde; she's more than she appears. I can sense it. Not just a pretty face or background player. I'd like you to keep an eye on her until your next contract." The grizzled, yet still young man leans back in his chair, "The boy... I think I've a name to match his face, but am uncertain. All of them are candidates right now. I have yet to inform Armaund, Orion's already given his approval; I'll wait for your opinion before I make any offers to them." A cross of his arms later, and another neutral sigh shows that he was finished, "I can feel it in my bones, Kodai. The world's changing. We're going to need more able bodies for whatever is to come."

- The library would have at least six aisles that came to a dead end, thousands of books; alphabetized and ranging from bestiaries to smithing guides. There would also be a keeper, sat upon a small wooden stool behind a desk with a large logbook; seemingly used to keep track of outgoing and returning literary pieces. This person would have the exact location of the three books Peter described earlier if asked about them. -

@Cailfox

(I know they aren't significant, but I'm going to post something in the Significant People thread with light details on every character I introduce. Dead or alive.)

Kodai listened to what Peter said, meanwhile his quill hound was happily munching on the jerky. "I agree... the world is changing. The beasts were acting strangely as I was returning to town. The leviathan even contacted me saying the tides are at unrest, and not from their doing." He looked to his quill hound, "I did see the dragonkin, taller than Kreeg and his brother, as for the rest... I shall have my companions aide me in monitoring them before we make our verdict." He then tossed a small bag of coin onto the table, "If this is from those bandits, I didn't realize, but I did take care of some bandits to the south." Kodai then turned to the door, "If you need me you can send for my phoenix as usual." Kodai left the room with his quill hound following suit.

@CNHart

    Alex took his hood off, running his hand through his glossy black hair. Peter said his farewells and retreated to his office. "Damn he annoys me..." Alex said quietly, but loud enough for the woman and fighter to hear him. Taking a few seconds to observe the room, he was interested in this place. The monstrous building was filled with people from every race, and they all seemed to get along fine.

    It felt homey with warmth, laughing and no fighting. Alex had never had a home, so he envied the people here, though he'd never show it. He started slowly roam around the room. All kinds of things decorated the walls from weapons to books to dead creatures of all sorts.

    Although this was a hospitable place, he never let his guard down. His hands were nonchalantly resting on the twin blades he kept on him. Alex waited for someone to make a joke. Or laugh at him. Or say 'this isn't a place for a boy.' but it never came.

    The boy in black crossed the room to the fireplace. There were many names on the wall, all great heros as Peter had bragged. All the names and he knew none but one. Marcus Macaveli.

    It surprised Alex to see his name among the deceased, but didn't register any other emotions. The man by the name Marcus had been a great warrior, skilled with a sword and magic.

   Marcus and Alex crossed paths soon after the boy had turned 13. Fighting and theiving was the only way Alex knew, but one day he had picked the wrong target to mug. After threatening Marcus, the warrior just chuckled.

   Pissing Alex off, the 13 year old ran at him with the knife. The warrior easily dodged it, even if the kid moved faster than he had anticipated, sliding to the side pushing Alex to the ground. Picking the boy up by the neck like a doll, he was about to crush his neck. But being young, Marcus hesitated before taking a life. That's all the time Alex needed, smiling at the warrior, sharp metal poked out through his teeth.

   The 13 year old sliced open his enemy's hand, running away as fast as he could. He was picked up again, this time in a less threatening manner. Marcus saw potential in the kid's agility and cleverness, taking him on his travels. Teaching and giving Alex the twin black blades he still used today, some would say they were friends.

   However Alex made sure he didn't have any friends. Allies and acquaintances maybe, but he kept no one that close. Not consciously anyway. So seeing his name was just another thing to think about and forget about. Passing the names and fireplace, he decided to finally relax. Taking an empty seat at the bar, he asked the newly met 'Pork' for a drink.

    'Even if that guy is annoying, this place might not be so bad.' Alex thought looking around. 'I don't have anyone to see or anywhere to be, so I think I'll see what Ebonwolf is all about...'

Kodai walked into the main room with his hound close on his heels. He sat beside the dark bladed boy, staring straight ahead as he waited for Pork's employees to serve him his usual dish. The quill hound curled up in a small bed that was placed near the bar beside a wall and a flaming blue bird screeched as it landed on his shoulder. Kodai smirked and began squawking to the bird, the bird responding and Kodai chuckled. To outsiders this would seem strange and bizarre, but those who knew him understood that he was simply chatting with his companion. Kodai squawked back and the bird nodded before flapping into the air and flying elsewhere in the guild. Kodai glance to the kid beside him, although the kid wouldn't be able to tell just by sight, Kodai's upper face completely covered by a mask of a kitsune. "So you're one of the newcomers Peter's got his eye on?"

Vaehra Baelnareon

Vaehra chuckled at the males comment as she removed her hood. "A simple character flaw." She shrugged making her way over to the wall. Most were of people she had never heard of, which caused her to think of what importance they were. Pursing her lips she narrowed her eyes as she read all the names, feeling her heart drop as her eyes landed on an all to familiar name. Maelys Baelnareon. A woman that introduced Vaehra to the human world, the one who gave her a name. As soon as Vaehra felt the oncoming flood of emotion she could feel herself loosing her grip on her morphing, parts of her skin returning to its natural pink tone. She shook her head, no longer wishing to dive into such memories, especially out of fear of showing her true self. Just as quick as they appeared her skin turned back to the pale skin of a human, a relieved sigh escaping her lips as she backed away from the wall.

Vaehra reminded herself of what she was actually here to do, her attention turned to the man she had enter with as another appeared beside him. The were both distracted , which was beneficial for Vaehra as she slowly slipped away. Ducking into one of the halls, checking to see if anyone was passing. Once she knew she was alone she started to morph. Something simple, not to strenuous on her mind and body. Although when she caught herself in the mirror she had realized what she had done, looking at the face of Maelys Baelnareon, Veahra sighed. The transformation wasn't to strenuous seeing she had morphed into Maelys many time although she knew she was on the edge of possibly being discovered. Not that I will be staying for long. Vaehra thought, as she made her way around the compound, looking for things that could possibly be of value.
