Saren had to be quite honest, it was a little surprising to hear Xander agree to let her see his bird. Maybe he wasn't so closed off as she thought. "Thank you. And it is understandable given you just moved in." She followed him inside, gazing around. He wasn't kidding about the mess, but un-boxing isn't the most pleasant thing in the world. Her attention fluttered (pun very much intended) over to the canary as Xander opened up the cage to reveal the beauty. He flew from his shoulder over onto Sarens, and her eyes widened a bit in surprise, but giggled softly.

His song was serenading, filling the room with peace. Saren closed her eyes for a moment, imagining herself within the wilderness. She could imagine the smooth wind shifting around her, and the serene voice of the birds around. Well, Mainly Xander's bird. Opening her eyes again, she felt refreshed. "So you're the handsome fellow I heard about? Your song was moving, I'm honored to be of the audience. I'm quite the composer and musician myself, so I know how much work and feeling goes into someone's song." She turned towards Xander. "What is the name of this handsome bird that has stolen part of my heart?" Parts of my heart have already been stolen twice today. And half of my heart has already been stolen by Zara. If I keep running into animals I may perish.

It was also distracting. Given she had forgotten her whole reason for coming to the complex the moment she witnessed the fox from earlier. "My mother loved birds. She had a large study, a personal library if you will. And I could swear over half of them were research texts on birds."She tapped her hair pin. "This was actually hers. From what I've heard from my father, the diamond was cage decor of my mother's bird Twilight, a member of the Crescentchest family. After Twilights passing, she had the diamond removed and turned into a hair pin to remember her by." She looked away from him and back to the bird. "Ah, sorry for talking your ear off."

"What is the name of this handsome bird that has stolen part of my heart?"

"Titan," Xander answered, "Ironic name really, but it suits his grand talent." He listened carefully to her story. Normally he grew board of people taking his time, but something about Saren just held him in place. He was one to just finish a conversation in a matter of exchanges and be on his way, but here we were having someone over and having a heartfelt conversation.

"Ah, sorry for talking your ear off."

Xander shook his head, "Don't worry about, it's refreshing to listen to someone other than Titan talk." Xander lifted his index finger and Titan flew to it, perching on it. Titan let out a sweet note as ruffles his feathers, fluffing up, taking comfort in being close to Xander. He couldn't help laugh a the bird's antic to look cuter in front of a new person. Be it, a male or female, Titan always makes it his job to be the attractive and innocent one in the room.

Tavi adored being complimented, and as cutie rolled off of marco's tongue, she was beaming. Even if it moved her, it would never be enough to give her the desire of transforming back into a man. "I should be thanking you darling." As he shot questions at her, Tavi let out a soft sigh, placing her arm around him. "This is a fair my darling! And I am but a mere merchant in this case." She pointed to the small card in front of the table, written on it was "Fortune reading for $1". Perhaps it was quite cheap according to other places, but Tavi felt people had been cheated by other "psychics" out there. So lowering her standards for price was a way to give back to the people.

"However, there will be much time for play after you meet your mystery man." She nudged him and winked.

"This is a fair my darling! And I am but a mere merchant in this case."

This was the young woman's reply as Marco the raised an eyebrow as he then said, crossing his arms as a thought came to him, "In that case, I've got a lot time to get changed and cleaned up, since it's still in the morning and all." As he spoke, he could tell that she really liked his complement from the way she was beaming. God, Marco loved being a flirt. Although he was more attracted to men, Marco took any opportunity he had to act flirty to anyone out of playfulness rather than anything serious. Some hated this about Marco, some would put up with it, while others would enjoy it. But regardless of whom he acts like this towards, Marco always felt good after teasing a pretty girl or a handsome young man by calling them sweet cheeks or something.

When Octavia pointed to the small card in front of the table, that read "Fortune Reading for $1", Marco slipped into his pocket and pulled out four quarters as he then nodded the woman, swiping a bar of chocolate as he then said, "I'll be right back; thanks for everythin'!"

As he left to return to the complex to change into his better cloths, Marco woar a beaming smile on his face, if the fortune teller's prediction was in fact correct, then this could end up being the best day Marco ever had... that was, unless he somehow found a way to screw it up.

Katagiri Takaji Katagiri Takiji.jpg
Katagiri was impressed. She wasn't as easy to mess with as most people he'd met. "I can't wait... it should be a pleasant experience." He took his own path into the complex as Kira turned away. Once he was out of earshot of anyone, he knelt down beside Kalam and smiled, holding the fox's face to him, "Well Kalam... what do you think? I think she's going to bring me weeks of entertainment. Who'd know I'd run into such a peculiar individual on our first day?" The thought was thrilling! To top it all off, that peculiar individual was a girl! Never had he run into a girl that made him so curious... Of course he'd run into plenty of girls like her, but unlike her, they all failed to understand.

Eventually he found a bench to relax and looked over the past events of the day. Kalam had a fan who presumably lived in the complex, Kataji had found someone who sparked his curiousity, and the moving company had failed to deliver his things. All things considered he was content with how the day had turned out. Occasionally a stranger would pass by and whisper about Kalam, but Kataji couldn't care less. His thoughts were caught up in the work he sought to do now. Perhaps he'd refrain from looking into Kira, for the sake of his curiousity... at least until she wasn't as entertaining. Now he was alone with Kalam, and to pass the time, hummed a tune to himself.

Touring.

For young teens with stars still glimmering in their hopeful eyes, it was seen as the holy grail of fame. To be onstage, surrounded by screaming fans who'd spent all their hard earned money just to see you sing? Amazing.

Hah, what a cute way of looking at things. And by cute, Nicholas meant sickeningly and disgustingly optimistic.

One could only tolerate the shrill screeching of "Spook! Spook! Over here, Spook! We love you!" for so long.

It was an ego boost. Cynical or not, Nick wasn't about to waste time denying the obvious. And sure, fame had its perks. In fact, he wouldn't even consider trading it for the monotony of a mundane existence, even if that would solve the fangirl problem.

Of course, that didn't mean he had to like it. After all, there wasn't much he liked in the first place.

But now, hair a mess and eyeliner smudged from spending the last ten hours on a turbulent flight, he really considered hating it.

Sliding out of the private limousine he'd been riding in, Spook bit his lip before slinging a supposedly priceless custom guitar he'd been leaning on over his shoulder. With the proof of his fame hidden away behind a generic black case, he could've been just another angsty teen with a big dream.

Instead, he was Spook Sterling, Celebrity of the Year. A camera flashed dizzyingly in his face as he hurried toward the entrance of the apartment complex, and he offered the paparazzi a rather rude gesture before retreating into the building.

"Ugh," Nick mumbled, blinking as his eyes adjusted to a light source far brighter than the custom black glow he'd had installed in the limo.

Okay, so being famous definitely had its perks. That didn't mean it was what he thought it would be two years ago. If he'd known, well... it's not like it mattered now.

Sighing, he skulked toward the elevators, hoping to avoid any recognition. He needed some time to unwind before he was ready to face the world, and a night of watching horror movies with his pet tarantula Fluffy sounded like the closest one could get to heaven.

Mushy or not, he'd missed that little spider.

"Titan, I think its a fitting name!" Saren smiled. It was ironic for such a small bird, but Xander was right, his talent was huge. She was glad she wasn't being bothersome to him. She hadn't conversed with a ton of members in the complex, so it was nice every once in awhile. ah...huge voice of Titan....so beau-...oh...huge bunny...Kira is going to hate me for taking so long... She bowed to Xander again. "Thank you for allowing me to see Titan. It was a pleasure, I hope to see you again sometime." Saren waved to Titan, and made her way towards the door, but a few papers sticking out of one of the moving boxes caught her eye. It was almost as if Xander had begun to unpack but went against it. That wasn't the issue. Her manners told her not to, but her heart made a reach for it. "Ah! Sorry for grabbing...but these are character designs for that new fantasy video game coming out this fall aren't they? Bioware just revealed the image at E3 last week in their presentation. I would say this is an outstanding replica, because its impossible to print out an image that hasn't been released online yet..." She placed the papers back down on the box. "Unless you work with them ahaha....its impossible right? You aren't a video game designer right? A fan?" She was going to lose her cool if it was true.

Xander's eyes widen when Saren picked up the designs from a box labeled classified material. As soon as she placed the sheet of paper back in the box, he picked it up and answered, "You weren't supposed to see that. Now is yet!" Taking the box to his office, he cleared his throat and apologized, "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell but you can't say anything about finding them. I signed an NDA, I can lose everything..."

Xander began to zone out at the thought of losing his job. I'm done for... My likely hood is left on her hands now... The breach of contract would also lead to him never being able to work in another company that needs to keep things on the down low. "I'm a programmer for Anthem, " He told her, "I can get you a copy of the game when it comes into alpha, but you can't say a single word about it, don't even think about it."

Nicholas Sterling was not in the mood for interaction.

He'd grudgingly sign an autograph if he had to, but at the moment, the raven haired teen simply wanted to be left alone.

Smoothing his signature fringe with an absentminded swipe of his hand, he leaned into the corner of the elevator and glared towards the still-open doors, practically daring someone to come inside and disturb his comfortable air of gloom.

As his luck would have it, someone did. And not just the usual resident or staff member. Oh no. Nick could've handled that, but he was in no mood to converse with an annoying pink-haired girl that reminded him just a little too much of his ex.

Ugh, and people had the nerve to wonder why he was a pessimist.

As soon as she opened her mouth, however, Nick knew she'd gone Way. Too. Far.

"You look like the grim reaper threw up on you," she'd mocked, and he felt his temper positively flare. Of course, he would never give her the satisfaction of seeing that her little comment got to him.

"Yeah, because someone with hair that most closely resembles a wad of chewed-up gum has a right to judge, apparently," he said bitterly, shrugging as though to emphasize his complete lack of emotion.

He frowned in displeasure when she mussed his already messy hair, but held back an urge to flinch or shove her away. She wasn't going to get the reaction she wanted. No freakin' way.

"Unfortunately, yes, I can see you. Blindness has never sounded better." Fixing his hair effortlessly, Spook crossed his slender arms over his chest.

"And it's okay, I'm used to goldfish-brained girls with no sense of personal space or boundaries. It's why I went into the music industry." He offered her a sickeningly sarcastic smile, before returning to his previous icy demeanor.

Her next comment was particularly grating, and he had a fleeting desire to slap the obnoxious girl.

Purposely ignoring the meaning of her words, he rolled his eyes. "Oh, don't worry, I think the world can tell you're misunderstood. As for not being hated, well, better luck next time, bubblegum."

The elevator was quickly approaching their destination, and it hadn't gone unnoticed that they lived far too close for comfort.

As it slowed to a stop, Nick was practically counting the seconds until he could leave. He'd dealt with obnoxious fangirls and rude internet trolls, but this was something other.

Maybe it was time to consider a move...

Ollie
Ian was acting strange. Maybe he really didn't want to try on the suits, or maybe he didn't want to be bothered with the cat. He had gotten the cat again, delivered by Ellie, so Ollie hoped that would cool things down. Someone was at the door, but before he could look and see who it was Ian had taken a hold of him. Apparently they were changing together. Ollie immediately grew slightly paler. As a feeling of anticipation rose in his chest, he straightened himself up amd tried to keep his cool. Seeing Ian in various levels of semi-nudity? That wasn't expected at all. The suits looked okay when Ellie brought them over, along with the warning. An angry Lexi and a lewd Ian definitely weren't on his list of sightseeing for when he got acquainted with the area, but Ollie really couldn't complain about Ian. Sure, he wasn't a model or anything, but he was definitely attractive. And not gay. Nor into any kind of guys. So it was more of a one-way watching from a distance kind of thing. Without the sweat and the camera in the bushes, of course. Taking the blue suit, he tried to dispel the mental images of Ian, but failed because he was right there next to him. It was a little awkward, especially in the cramped bathroom. Well, not really cramped, but Ollie was just being dramatic. He needed to just bite the bullet and get on with it, so he shucked his clothes and hurried into the suit. While dressing he tried to be as careful as possible, but his eyes kept drifted over to Ian and deciding that was a great place to stay. A compliment from out of nowhere caused his face to turn a color akin to that of a tomato. "Oh. Y-you're, uh, really attractive." Wait, that wasn't Ian's voice. His knees didn't tremble at the sound. That meant one thing. Ollie threw open the bathroom door and leapt out, tripping on the pants at his ankles. The suit came off and he got back into his clothes with lightning speed. "So sorry, Lex. I gotta go like right now. I, uhm, have an appointment." He ran to the door, but paused after opening it. "I actually need someone to drive me. For a couple reasons," his brain panicked as it tried to come up with an excuse. "The medication...makes me really tired, but I have to take it ASAP and can't drive when I do. So meet me in the lobby, please."

And with that, dress-up day was over as Ollie sprinted down the stairs.

Adelaide posed for the picture, holding up a quick peace sign. Trying hard not to fangirl too hard but she couldn't help the smirk that came to her face.
She looked over the picture before shutting her phone off then putting it away.
'Oh my gosh! Who knew I would be able to get so close enough to get her phone number!?' She nonchalantly waved her hand, "I don't mind at all."
Adelaide happily took the phone and typed in her number and left her name as Adelaide with a small emoji of a peach. she handed the phone back to her new friend. "I should send it to you right now, so I don't forget! Here, you can give me your number too and then we can get going." She held her phone out to Malia.

Lexi had just closed the door as Kataji had just left when Ollie was rushing toward the door. Lexi tried to catch up with that he was saying and with what could have happened for him to just rush out. Were the suits too much for him, she asked herself and when he brought up an appointment and ride, she nodded, "Alright, I can drive." With that, he excused himself and left the apartment all together. Ellie was trying to straighten up the suit that Ollie had left and Lexi called out, "I'll be back. If I'm not back soon, you guys can remove the clothes and go to the far ahead of me. I might as well postpone the fitting all together."

"Alright," Ellie called out as Lexi left the apartment. As soon as she put the suit back on the rack, it finally hit Ellie. I'm alone with Ian... OH NO! What do I do!? What do I say!? Quickly she picked up a small Samson and took a sit on the couch as she waited for Ian to come out of the bathroom.

Lexi made it down to the Lobby as soon as Ollie made it, from the stairs. She waved him over to to the lobby doors, as she took out her keys from her purse.
"So where are we going?" she asked as she leads the way to the parking lot where her Peugeot RCZ she brought with her from England. Walking up the left side of the car she got in and started the engine, getting comfortable in her car as it heated up a bit.

  • Kiku & Pluto
Pluto barely had any time to sulk in his bedroom, before someone came barging in. It was "Kiku!?"
"What's up bitch boi. I heard you were being a loser and sulking in your room. Why?" She walked over to his bed and plopped down next to him. She was holding an outfit that had a plastic cover over it. It looked to be about his size...
Pluto wiped some stray tears from his face. "I wasn't sulking. I was...thinking." He pouted down at the stuffed sheep he was currently clinging to. Technically, he wasn't lying. He really was thinking, about Ollie, the more he thought the sadder he got. Pluto would tell himself that he doesn't need to worry about it, he would just have to talk with Ollie next time! On the other hand, maybe Ollie was running away from him because he didn't like him? Who knew, Pluto definitely didn't know. And it was driving him crazy. Luckily the great and wonderful Kiku was here to help.

"Crying over a boy?" She rolled her eyes, " Geez, just admit you are straight up gay and get on with your life."
"I told you I do like girls too!"
"Look at this I got for you." She completely ignored what he said to show him his new outfit. It looked like a Waiter uniform. And just his luck, it matched her outfit.
He reached out to lift the shirt up. "So why do I have to wear this?"
"You are going to help me run my food truck." That was supposed to sound exciting but Kiku didn't really sound to enthused. Pluto had no say in the matter, he was already being dragged out to the truck.

Once there, Kiku ordered Pluto to get dressed in the back while she drove to the fair. It wasn't as hard as he thought it would be. After he was all dressed he looked himself over. He was lucky the outfit wasn't too uncomfortable. "We have reached our destination." Kiku said as she parked the truck and opened the giant side window. The smell of roast beef, cornbread, and gravy came flowing out from the window. Not too long after, people started to flock over to see what was up.
"Wow, that sure is a crowd of people..." He fixed his hair the way Kiku wanted it to be before turning to her. Kiku had just finished putting on a wig. "ok." She took a deep breath, her face showing nothing but concentration. "Let's do this."
"Welcome, welcome!" Popping halfway out of the window like a puppet was a different side of Kiku. This was no longer Kiku. No, It was...
"Honey! That's my name! And here we give you only the best country cooking. Most of these are my momma's own recipes. We hope you enjoy! Now please form two lines at the front, Thank you!"Kiku was in the zone now. Pluto did all he could to feed the hungry crowd. Surprisingly to him, he didn't drop anything and only burned himself twice!

After what felt like hours, their shift was over. Kiku locked up the truck and parked it somewhere safe.
"Thank you so much for the help babe. Here." She handed him a takeout bag, a big one at that, and smiled up at him. "I saw you eyeing all of the food. So as a thank you, I think you deserve it." Pluto could've been happier to take said bag of food. Then he left to make his way up to the boardwalk. Unfortunately, he only made to the bottom of the boardwalk steps before he tripped and fell flat on his face.
'End me now. I hope no one saw that.' He only sat up to make sure the food was ok. Thankfully it was. 'I think I'll just...lay here.'

Meanwhile, Kiku was walking around the boardwalk, looking not so interested in the things around her. That was until she saw a little tent.
"Maybe this will be interesting?" She peeked her head in and looked around.

~Marco Galbo~
Marco.jpg

Having gathered his bathing suit, a bag and some cash, Marco left his room and made his way down to the lobby as he exited the complex, bearing a huge grin across his face as he was full of excitement for today. Though he was in no shape or form a fan of suits, he had to admit that Abigail did a good job at buying him a suit that appealed to him. Wearing a brown, buttoned up suit, with a white undershirt, black shoes and a dark brown hat, Marco felt like a classy New Yorker as he strolled down the sidewalk as he made his way to the fair. But despite the sheer excitement and thrill he was feeling at this very moment, Marco couldn't help but feel a bit antsy from the fact that today would be the day that, according to the freakishly accurate fortune teller's prediction, he would find true love. Though Marco wasn't someone who believed in such things, he was willing to give it a shot never-less.

Feeling full of energy, Marco chuckled as he then got only his hands and performed a cart-well on the sidewalk, before bending his knees to jump into the air, performing a very impressive flip. Upon landing back onto his feet, Marco began to jug down the sidewalk, building momentum as one of his favorite songs from the 80s rang through his head like a radio. Performing a good number of more flips, cart-wells and even some parkour as he traversed across town to get to the beach, Marco's heart was beating like a jackrabbit! It had also been a while since Marco had used his athleticism to it's fullest for a while, so he felt alive with every flip and parkour stunt he performed. Unfortunately, Marco's athletic spree would come to an abrupt end when he flipped onto a railing, landing square in his nut as his body froze from the sheer amount of white-hot pain pain he was in.

Collapsing onto the sidewalk as people walked back him with to ignore his foolish agony, Marco groaned as he grabbed himself and rolled on the ground, saying to himself as he tried to grab the railing, "Damn... I'm gonna feel that one tomorrow." Upon pulling himself up to lean against the railing, Marco looked ahead to find the fair a block ahead. Making a weak smile, Marco let go of the railing as he limped all the way to the fair, crossing the road as cars began to beep angrily at them. "EY I'M WALKIN' HERE!" Marco angrily hollered back at the drivers, waiving his fist back at them as one of the drivers started to cuss at him, prompting an already fed-up Marco to yell back with, "OH GET OUTTA TOWN!"

After finally making it to the fair, Marco made a mad dash to the nearest benches he could find. But much to his dismay, every bench he would come across was full of people. "You've gotta be shittin' me!" Marco said beneath his breath as the stinging pain from his groin continued, darting his eyes all over the place to find a bench to sit on. His eyes would suddenly glitter with relief upon spotting a spotless, untaken bench, sparkling like it was made of gold. giddily laughing to himself as he made a dash to the bench, he was stopped when he felt his body run into what felt like a wall of fat, bouncing him back as a humongously fat man took up the entire bench to begin stuffing his face with roast beef. And after rubbing his head, Marco sat and stared in disbelief, his bum stained from a vanilla shake someone dropped a while ago, Marco grinned his teeth as he then cried out in rage, "ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME!?!?"

Making his way to the bottom of the boardwalk, his pain gone yet now devoid of energy, Marco made his way to the boardwalk railing and sat there, letting his legs dangle off of the side of the boardwalk as he rested his arms and head on the railing. "Jeez, and this was supposed to be the day I find "true" love..." Marco said to himself, a void of sadness and disappointment building up inside of him as he blankly stared out into the ocean, "So much for listenin' to some fortune teller."

After an another hour of shut eye, Sam found himself being suffocated as Luke was laying completely on him. "Luke, I can't breathe... Get off me!" Sam laughed and got up from the bed. It was noon now and Sam had to get out of bed. His phone was being bombarded by notification from his sisters as they sent him pictures of their day at the beach. Well, they seem to be having fun. I should apologize to James about how I acted on Thursday...

Making his way to the bathroom, he decided to get out of his lazy spell and get ready. Dressing out of his pajama bottoms and his white tee, changing to a pair of jeans and a blue tank top. Pluto
Insted of getting up like a normal person, Pluto sat down under the boardwalk and started to eat his delicious lunch of lemon chicken thighs with wild rice. He sat there and watched the waves roll forward and back. It was very calming and it helped him think happy thoughts. He covered his food and set it down so he could get out of his dirty work clothes. He removed the apron and tie then unbuttoned the dress shirt so the yellow shirt Kiku had him wear could show. It said 'Honey's' on it.
'Of course she would want me to advertise it.' He sat back down and ate more of his lunch. Suddenly he felt sand falling onto his head. It wasn't even that much sand but he would whine about it anyway! No one throws sand at him dangit!
"Hey! Who-oh." He looked up at the railing only to see a young man looking pretty down at the moment. "Hey, are you OK?" He asked as he climbed up next to Marco. He gave him a small smile. "Shouldn't you be having fun on a boardwalk?" It was then he noticed that the young man was looking pretty snazzy in his suit.
'That's kind of a strange thing to wear to a beach. But he looks good though!'

"Hey! Who-oh."

Marco would blink upon hearing this, looking around himself to find where the voice came from, before looking down from the railing to see another young man looking up at him, who then went on to ask, "Hey, are you OK?"

Marco was silent for a moment as he looked at the man with eyes filled with shock as his cheeks became a bit red; the young man below him had long blond hair, most of which was wrapped up in a ponytail and light tan skin. Instantly regretting what he said about the fortune teller earlier, Marco shook his head as he went on to reply to the young man, "Y-yeah I'm cool. Just, you know, lookin' out into the ocean like a chump."

Macro would find himself even more shocked when the young blond man climbed up to sit next to Marco, softly smiling as he then said, "Shouldn't you be having fun on a boardwalk?"

"O-oh! Are you kiddin' me? I've havin' loads of fun here!" Marco said, looking away from the blond man's face to hide his blushing as he wrapped his arms behind his neck and replied with a smirk, "Nice food, fun folks, a nice day at the beach. What more can a chump ask for?"

'That's kind of a strange thing to wear to a beach. But he looks good though!"
Marco's smirk would drop as the blond man noticed his suit, before replying as he rubbed the back of his head, "Well, one of my friends bought me this suit a while back and I just felt like, you know, trying it on for today. But bot does this make me look like one snazzy devil!" Marco laughed as he then tried to start a conversation with this strangely welcoming fellow, "So... what brings you here?"

  • 'This is exciting! I wonder where we can both go that I won't bored her too much?' Adelaide smiled as she received her phone back from Malia. "Thank you." She found the picture and promptly sent it to the other.
"So do you have any place you want to see? I'll just follow your lead as I take pictures."
"Oh well..." She crossed her arms and tapped her foot, really trying to think of an interesting place to go.
"Maybe we could go to check out some of the booths? I would love to see what this place has to offer!" She put her phone back into her purse and looked in a direction where they should go. "Hmmm, let's go left! Into the crowd."

A chump huh? Pluto didn't think the guy looked like a chump. Like he had said earlier, he looked snazzy. "Sorry if I startled you. You sort of startled me when I was sitting down there." The man seemed to be blushing, witch wasn't helping Pluto much. 'He's trying to act like he wasn't just mopeing about.' He thought to himself as he watched Marco make up excuses.

As Marco's smirk dropped, Pluto blushed a deep red. He didn't realize he had said that out loud! He knew it was too late to say that the guy had heard him say he looked good! He turned away and smacked his forehead. 'Gah! You idiot! This is the second time! Watch what you say!'
    "So what brings you here?"
Pluto turned back to the guy, making sure he didn't say anything stupid. "I-I was working in a food truck." He motioned his uniform, "This also isn't really something people normally wear to the beach." He chuckled. "But I was helping a friend so I don't mind. So, are you going to tell me what you were up to?"

"Well..." Marco said as he then laid back, resting his head against his arms so that he was now looking up at the sky with his legs still dangling off the edge. Though he had a deep suspicion that this was the same man the fortune teller was talking about, he wanted to avoid mentioning those details as he tried to think of a good answer to the man's question, all while keeping a straight, poker face to keep himself cool, "Believe it or not, I moved to the Sunset Complex just this mornin'. I though that, you know, takin' a stroll around town and check out the place wouldn't hurt at all, so I went on a walk and found this place."

Marco also wanted to keep out the details that he was actually poor; not like it was important, but Marco had no plans of mentioning it never less. Tapping his feet against the side of the boardwalk, Marco was silent for a moment, thinking of what else he could say to make himself look more of a chill dude than a stud.

"Sooo what were you and your friend serving here?"

Malia felt her phone in her back pocket vibrate once she recieved the image but payed attention to Adelaide as she waited for her answer. Adelaide hesitated for a moment then she announced her asnwered and began to lead the way through the Crowd.

For a moment she was keeping up with Adelaide, but she began to move faster then she was. Pushing through the crowd and excusing herself as she did. Once she made it back to Adelaide's side, Malia linked her arm through Adelaide's,
"Sorry, I hope you don't mind if I link our arms together, I almost got lost in the see of souls."

Malia gave her an innocent smile as she tried to not get to over her head.
I mean this is innocent enough, right? All I am trying to do it not lose her, no harm there. A gust of wind slowly began to pick up speed and Malia took hold of Adelaide's hat before it flew off into the sea of people, maybe eventually into the sea itself. "Maybe a hat wasn't a good idea by the beach, cute but it has a huge risk of flying away from you."

Malia's face was close to Adelaide's as she kept both her hold on the hat on top of her head and their arms linked together. The Canon camera she placed back around her neck was the only thing separating them. She mentally wished it wasn't but was glad she still kept her emotions under the cover.
It's been so long since I had someone I liked, but it's too early to tell...

The activities at the boardwalk were pretty boring to Kataji. The place had nothing all that exciting, and the dozens of conversations he had listened to lacked anything amusing to him. Kalam of course was having the time of his life, every time a girl would notice him they'd run up to them, begging to pet him. Kataji didn't care of course, he was more interested in finding something interesting... if only that Kira girl was around. "Well Kalam, seems like thing's aren't going to get fun anytime soon."

That was until he spotted a familiar face... or someone who looked familiar at least. Kataji nodded it off, there was no way she followed him from Japan. Besides, where would she have even gotten the money to move here, let alone pay off an info broker willing to reveal Kataji's whereabouts. Still, he couldn't wait for something interesting to occur.

Finally, Ollie was out of the hot seat. He was thankful for Lexi offering him a ride, that was honestly the best reasonable outcome. As he pushed open the door out of the stairwell, Lexi caught his eye and waved him over to her. Giving her a smile, he followed her out and to the car, entering on the passenger side. "Here, I'll type it into my GPS on my phone," he handed her his phone after putting in the address of his new psychiatrist. It would take about fifteen minutes to get there. "While you're in there, go ahead and gimme your number. So I can contact you any other time. And stuff. You don't have to." After his awkward delivery of the directions, Ollie sighed and shook his head. It would probably be good to tell Lexi about the illness. That would be the least he could, giving her an explanation. So after a few minutes, he looked over at her. "I have paranoid schizophrenia. Uh, I see things and hear voices and get really suspicious of people. So if I come off as weird or a freak or whatever, there you go. I'm a schizo." Ollie watched her face for her reaction and anticipated her response.

  • Walking through the crowd seemed to be harder than she thought. She knew how to walk through a boardwalk crowd. Everyone always walks on the middle of the walkway, so they just had to get to the side that has all the interesting things.
"Oh, yeah I don't mind at all!" She smiled over at Malia next to her, acting as calm as ever. Though she wasn't acting the same on the inside. Her mind raced with squeals and she was really just acting like a huge nerd.
'Oh no, I haven't felt like this in a long time! Ok Adelaide, just act natural!'
She was so distracted that she hadn't noticed her hat was blowing away until Malia caught it, keeping hold of it while being very close. It also didn't help that they had to be even closer so they could stay together in the crowd.
"Maybe a hat wasn't a good idea by the beach, cute but it has a huge risk of flying away from you."
"Yeah uh..." Adelaide blushed a bit darker this time. "I d-didn't know it was going to be this windy today!" She giggled, looking for a way out of this crowd. "Oh, hey! How about we go to that bottle ball toss thing?" She shuffled her way with Malia through the crowd and to the booth. It had big and small stuffed animals for someone to win. "How about I win you one? I have a pretty good throwing arm."

"My friend changes the menu every day. Today was fried chicken, roast beef and whatever side you wanted. The food is really good! I suggest you go to it."

"Heheh, next time I've got some cash on me, you can expect to see me at the front of line." March chuckled as he turned his head to the blond young man, who had also gone to lie down next to him. Although he found himself feeling more and more at ease as they talked, he couldn't help but look at the blond man's face. He was handsome... but in a way he couldn't quite describe. The way the blond man looked and talked gave Marco the impression that this man was one of the nicer people you see on the safer blocks in a town, but even then, just looking at the blond man's face gave him a feeling of warmth. Not that he needed it, but the feeling alone made him feel good inside. Good enough to let his more brazen side take over, though.

"You've got no idea, my guy!" Marco continued as he got into his story, "Oone time, me and my uncle and aunt went to Italy to see the family for my grandmother's birthday and we had a feast to kill for! I'm serious, it was freakin' huge! Layered Italian Casseroles, Rosted Potatos with garlic, Sausage Calzone, Gnocchi and Penne Pasta with Marinara Sauce! That that's only the tip of the iceberg of what we ate! But man, I ended up eating so much that I ended up eating my fork by accident. It was a near death experience, no sought about it, but after my third uncle came and pulled the fork out of my thoat, we all laughed and continued eating!"

When Pluto went on to mention how he felt he should stick to being a model rather than a cook, Marco smirked as he then said, "You think you're clumbsy? Dude, I find myself in trouble all the time! From Fallon' over to making some stupid mistake. Hell, while I was headin' to the fair I hit my nuts against some railings! It doesn't hurt anymore, but you could say that I felt like an idiot while I was in the moment."

Marco laughed as he closed his eyes, relaxing as he felt the warm breeze against his skin. Though he knew that the stain from the vanilla shake on his bum was getting even stickier and dirtier, all he wanted to do was to sit here and continue talking to the blond man next to him.

Pluto somehow wasn't surprised to hear that the guy was Italian. If anything he thought it was perfect. He listened to his story of how he accidentally ate a forked and laughed. Then he laughed even harder when he told him about his mishap with a railing.
"That does sound really bad! But I have done worse. Once I tripped infront of one of my bosses, sneezed right when a picture was taken But I can't say that I have ever choked on a fork!" He laughed, holding onto his side as he shook with laughter. Then he remembered, "Hey, you said you just moved here. I just moved here about two days ago... I think. I had moved from Germany of all places." He said, calming down from all the laughing. "It was fun but I'm starting to like this place. Where did you come from?"

Marco laughed, covering his face with his hands as he found himself barely able to breath. As Marco let his hands slide off of his face, he chucled as he then tried to say, while out of breath from laughing so hard, "Holy shit, haven't laughed that hard in ages! But I'd say I'd rather choke of a fork again than tip in front of my boss."

"Hey, you said you just moved here. I just moved here about two days ago... I think. I had moved from Germany of all places."

"Germany?" Marco said with a raised eyebrow as he lifted his head up to look at the blond man, also having settled down from all the laughing, "Jeez, you must of had it good over there."

"It was fun but I'm starting to like this place. Where did you come from?"

"Well, despite me being a true-blood Italian, I was born in Boston." was Marco's reply as he sat up, his smile turing into an aloof frown as he then picked one of his legs up from the side of the boardwalk to rest his head and arms on his knee, before he continued, "As good as it may sound, of all the kids I knew, I was born in one the poorer joints in the city. It wasn't pretty, believe me. Thankfully though, I eventually moved in with my uncle and aunt in another town near this one. Then, because my aunt wanted me to get a job, she kicked me out. And, well... here I am!"

So it had been true after all. Xander was a video game designer, and a professional too! Saren wanted to pass out. She was too overwhelmed she completely missed most of his words. She had heard them, but to really process them she had to recall them over and over in her mind. "Ah, don't worry! I wouldn't be that kind of person to leak information. Lock and key!" She made the motion with her hand, throwing the key into the makeshift river. Collecting herself a little more, she shook her head. "You don't have to bribe me or anything. But if you want to gift me with a game I wouldn't be opposed." Her heart was still racing wildly. "I've met a lot of famous people, but you're the coolest so far. Video game programmers are so talented." She couldn't hold it in.

A buzz went off on her phone and she jumped a bit opening her phone to read the anticipated message from Sam. "Oh! Shoot. I'll be late. I have to change and..." She mumbled to herself as she turned to leave, for real this time, her hand on the edge of the door. "Just being my friend is a bribe enough." She smiled, and headed for her room. Once again, forgetting about Kira altogether. She wasn't used to having her, or any room-mate around yet.

Once inside, she sent Sam a message: "Yes! Most definitely. Let me know whenever you are headed down and we can meet in the lobby."

(Sorry couldn't do the phone code at the moment, on a time crunch.)
