Jordan sighed as he hung up the phone. The rest of his furniture would arrive in his apartment in little over a day. So far his living room was bare with a television hooked up and his air mattress inflated for when he went to sleep or just needed a break. At the moment, he stood over his luggage, considering whether he should unpack the rest of his clothes or wait for the movers to come, and so in his head he thought otherwise and left the clothing to wait a while longer. On his person though, Jordan had on a black sleeveless tank top and some white shorts, paired with his Oreo Air Jordan 12's. He kicked his feet together, forming a grin before he turned to the door. It'd be nice to meet some of the neighbours he thought and so strolled towards the door, picking up his black designer leather jacket from the hanger. "Here, boy." He called as Billy, his Yorkshire Terrier rushed beneath him. With that, he pushed open the front door, letting the cold air conditioner air lick his face as he did so.
Almost immediately after his eyes set on the elevator, Jordan met a large bull dog exit the machine as the two stared eye in eye. He waited for the owner to emerge from the elevator behind the beast to no avail, sighing as the dog raced forward. He quickly grabbed Billy from the floor, taking a step back as the dog crashed into the apartment beside his own. He could hear that whoever resided in the next door apartment had felt the bang, though before any reconciliation with the owner of said apartment, Jordan rushed towards the injured bulldog. It continued to growl ferociously, all until Billy barked himself. He jumped off Jordan's shoulders and onto the floor before barking at the dog's heel. It took him a moment to realize that a splinter had found it's way into the bulldog's leg. "Poor 'fella." Jordan whispered, but he knew he couldn't take it own on his own, either that or he could risk further harm to the dog. "Hop on." He decided, and hefted the bulldog onto his shoulders, with Billy now on the ground. With that, it was best next to assure the next neighbour that nothing bad had happened.
Jordan knocked on the door, patiently waiting now. "Hey, it's about the loud bang you must've heard!" He said aloud, hoping that whoever lived there would open up. This could also be a good chance for him to meet a few of the neighbours while he was at it.

"Hey!" she heard a male voice say as she stood up from the ground smoothing out her pastel yellow blouse and black pleated skirt; her house slippers flicking against the floor with every step. She may live in America now, but she still wanted to hold fast to her traditions, "It's about that loud band you must've heard!" He continued. She contemplated getting Min out from under her bed for a few seconds, but assumed that the stranger would probably walk away if she didn't answer soon. Plus, it was her first time meeting one of her neighbors in the complex. It's happened before where she got off on the wrong foot with her neighbors and they wrote her off as rude and asocial. She really didn't want that to happen again.
She grabbed on to the doorknob and pulled it open to reveal a tall man that easily towered over her. She had to look up and take a step back to be able to actually see him. She wasn't even all that short, either. She smiled. "Oh, hello!" She silently cursed at herself. She was so bad at the whole 'social' thing, which seemed counterintuitive to her celebrity status. She really didn't know where to go from here. She looked down, "So..." she tried to say the following without sounding mean or rude. She decidely paired it with as genuine a smile as she could manage. "Who are you?" God, that sounded so unwelcoming! She hoped her neighbor wouldn't take it that way.
Jordan had waited a couple seconds, as each one ticked by he felt the urge to leave the door of the apartment. "What's taking so l--" He began before the door swished open, revealing a white woman, most likely his age, though something seemed familiar about her. He shook away the thought, unable to capitalize on whoever he thought she was, nodding as she greeted him hello. She seemed to pause for a moment before finishing the odd sentence with: "who are you?" Jordan felt a sting as she asked, he thought people would be able to recognize him with his new movie, "The Escape" having just been released, which was by far one of his best performances yet. Sucking it in, he swallowed his pride and continued on.
"Jordan Wilde." He replied with a smug grin, diminishing the appearance of having a cold demeanor. In all this, he hadn't even realized the dog that lay on his right shoulder before the bulldog barked, interrupting their conversation. "It's okay boy, we'll get you to a vet soon enough." He soothed, before the dog turned to Yoobin, reaching forward as it attempted to lick her face. Jordan let out a short as he heared the soft whimper of Billy underneath him. "Jealous much?" He asked before looking back up at Yoobin.
"Conor McGregor here was the one who ran into your door by the way." Jordan added,"Oh, shoot, excuse my manners. And who might you be? "
"Wait... Oh.." Jordan searched deeper in his mind before it hit him. Her amber coloured eyes, red highlighted hair, beautiful skin, it all seemed to lead to one person: "Yoobin Oh.What a pleasure." Jordan's smile widened to reveal pearl white teeth. "Korean pop star, eh? Must have quite the resume." He acknowledged.

"Jordan Wilde" He replied, a slightly proud smile donning his features. Her eyes widened as pictures of movie posters and billboards from back home flooded her memory, his face and name on every one. Guilt washed over her features as she realised she didn't recognize him at first. She knew she would have to make it up to him.
Suddenly, the bulldog on his shoulder started to bark and he assured him, in a smooth, calm voice, that they would take him to the vet soon enough. The injured animal attempted to lick her face, to which she met with a giggle and gladly allowed him to. She loved animals with all her heart, after all. The small Yorkie next to him began to whimper as if to ask, "Hey, what about me??" Clearly, he was jealous, and his owner only confirmed his feelings. Jordan began to speak again, "Connor McGregor here was the one who ran into your door, by the way." That seemed a little odd to Yoobin. How could that have possibly happened?
He continued to speak again, asking her who she was, but interrupted himself. "Yoobin Oh. What a pleasure. Korean Pop star, eh? You must have quite the resume." Yoobin smiled at the recognition. She didn't expect to get recognised in the States of all places, but she guessed that's what she was here for.
"Oh, no, the pleasure is all mine!" She countered, extending her hand to shake his. "I am SO sorry for not recognizing you earlier. It's just been such a hectic day that my brain is pretty fried." She ended with a laugh "I do, however, remember seeing your face and name plastered all over the place back home. You were in a movie called 'The Escape', right? It was pretty great! Getting back to the resume thing, I guess. I've acted in TV shows in Korea before, but don't look them up." She laughed, "Way too cringy."
A smirk curled at the corners of Nicholas' pierced lips. He could practically feel the rage coming from that obnoxious pink-haired girl, and he found it nothing short of amusing.
"The one and only," he said, bowing in a rather sarcastic manner. "And considering you started the entire thing, I think they'd just send you some hate mail."
She seemed ready to go off on another tangent when Saren appeared, interrupting the two mid-argument.
Replacing his mocking smirk with a slight, but still genuine smile, Nick turned to face her.
"Exhausting, but still awesome. You know, the usual. It'll be nice to have some time to myself though."
She mentioned something about an animal shelter, and Spook listened intently. He'd made more than a few donations to cat rescues, and was always up for helping out unwanted pets.
Of course, Miss Professional DJ cut Saren off before he could hear what she was asking. The way she stuttered and struggled to come up with an insult practically made him laugh out loud, though he bit his tongue to avoid making an even bigger scene.
"Aww, what's wrong bubblegum? Feeling a little starstruck?" His tone was silky and practically oozing condescension, and Nick was quite sure it would get some sort of reaction.
Rolling his eyes, he turned his attention back to Saren.
"Thanks for the offer, but I think I can take care of myself. I'll keep it in mind, though."
He paused for a moment, running a hand through his silky black hair in an attempt to calm down.
"Now, you were saying something about an animal shelter?"
When Malia said she loved cats, Adelaide mentally checked off a box for smoothness because she was killing it today! 'Smooth Adelaide. You've still got it! "You should act like that more. It makes you glow even beautifully," "Wha-uh, uuhm.." Adelaide should be used to these kinds of compliments and such but...this was different. This was coming from a very beautiful woman who knew beauty for a living and actually cared about it. She blushed and fixed her hat so it was actually doing its job. "Thank you so much. I appreciate the compliment." She started to walk away from the stand with Malia. she didn't know what more she could go to except, "*gasp* A flower stand! We have to go, this will be the last thing!" She grabbed ahold of Malia's hand and pulled her towards it. She turned to Her friend and asked, "Do you want me to get you anything?"
"Thanks... I mean, you probably grew up and lived in a much safer home with parents who love you and care about your well-being, but I appreciate the words." Pluto could not help but laugh at that comment. Safe? Hah! Love? Hoh! Care and well-being? When pigs fly. "I'm sorry but my parents should not even be in the same sentence with those words. They never took care of me. and when they did, they nearly let me die." He calmed himself down before Marco told his story. He didn't want to be rude so he stopped his laughing. "Wow." Was all he could say to that. Pluto may never know what it feels like to be poor or what it feels like to have to fend for himself like that. He didn't want to say 'Oh I am sorry to hear that.' because that was the last thing anyone wanted to hear. "...Who's him? Was he bad? Well judging by the way you said it, he has to be bad."
Kiku, having changed into a completely new outfit, was only slightly surprised that the woman recognized her. But only slightly. 'Hmm, I wonder if she is the real deal. Maybe I should test that.' Putting on a very distressed look, Kiku looked at the woman. "Most people say I look like a movie star. And that is cool and all but..." She avoided eye contact and sighed. "I can never seem to get the attention of the man of my dreams." That was partly a lie. Partly. Kiku kept her worried look going as she was seated. "I don't know what to do! I really like him but for some reason, he doesn't give me the time of day! His name is Ja-uh, Jason!" She waited to see what the mystic Octavia had to say about that.
"*gasp* A flower stand! We have to go, this will be the last thing!"
Malia grinned as he heard Adelaide's gasp, and once she pulled Malia along, she couldn't help laugh. She's just too cute!As she guided them, Malia did her best to excuse them as they went. Once they stood before the flower stand, Adelaide turned to face her and asked what she wanted. Malia looked around the stand and noticed a beautiful looking Orange Dahlias.
"Dahlias are my favorite..." she breathed out as she tightened her hold on Adelaide's hand. It was a light action, but it was enough to tell her she was happy. "What about you? Which one's do you like? Maybe we can get half of each other and have them in a bouquet for us to take home..." she offered as she looking into Adelaide's eyes.
Ian wasn't expecting Ollie to apologize, but he had to admit, the guy was acting rather different now. If only slightly. Maybe now that he's taking what he needs, he's doing better. He still wasn't so sure what was up with the guy, but as he apologized for the comment in the bathroom, Ian's cheeks reddened slightly as he rubbed the back of his head again. "Ah...Don't worry about it."It was embarrassing being complimented or checked out by another guy. Suddenly his built up frustration melted away. Does this mean Ollie is bisexual?? Or....
Lexis voice pulled his attention away, and he couldn't help but narrow his eyes at her last comment. "I'm free to do whatever."He blatantly replied. "Who would pass up the opportunity to go to the fair with two lovely ladies and a handsome lad?" He teased, clearly not giving into her playful jab earlier. His eyes held onto Ellie's for a mere moment, before he flipped his hood up and headed towards the door.
Once again, the man had flaunted his mystery. She was part of a job...? Kira listened to every word of his while adding snacks to the basket she was carrying. Any snack was good for Kira. So she chose the ones in colorful packages. She also didn't have any particular tastes, or, maybe she did and didn't want to let on. She didn't like others holding information on her favorite things. As Kataji brought up her thoughts on Sasori, Kira hesitated. A look of disdain crossing her eyes. "She's nothing special. At least in the affectionate sense." She kept her voice level, refusing to become shaken over memories of the unpleasant meeting. "She would be cuter if she kept her mouth shut. But I guess that applies to a lot of people huh?"She laughed softly, as, in a way she was referring to herself. She knew she had a sharp tongue at times. Kira swung the basket to her side, walking beside Kataji. "It's my turn to ask you a question then. What did you mean when you mentioned she was part of a job earlier?"She had a feeling this guy was up to something darker than he let on.
They must really despise one another...Saren mentally sighed. She knew Kira got on people's bad sides, but she thought Nick was generally pretty chill. She could only imagine what about him ticked her off so much. Shrugging the thought away, she reverted her attention back to the teen musician as he brought up the animal shelter. Her eyes brightening, Saren explained as she reached into her purse for a card and pen. "Right! For a long time it's been a dream of mine to create an animal shelter that doubles as a walk-in vet for emergencies. And recently I made a friend who has vet experience. And I realized life is too short to push things off. So I'm creating my own shelter! It'll even have its own section for housing more exotic pets."She wrote down her number on the back of the card. The card was a simple business card from GiGi's Cupcakes that she had shoved in there for awhile.
"I only have blueprints sketched out for now, but it would be an honor to have your endorsement. And, perhaps you could help manage some of the animals in your free time."She smiled."I wanted to have support from someone who not only cares about animals, but is a friend as well. I want this shelter to be a family. My number is on the back. I know security is tight, so if you can't message me or call that's fine. I'll run into you." Handing the card to Nick, Saren frowned slightly."Hmmm..." Reaching into her purse once more she brought out a small bag of mini cookies. Dropping them into Nick's hands she added,"In case its hard for you to go to the fair without being noticed, I have brought some of the fair to you." She was originally going to eat them herself later, but Nick seemed quite exhausted so she figured he could use an energy boost. Why do I feel like I'm giving him most of my sweets lately??
"Then, take care!"She waved him goodbye and headed towards the elevators, sending Sam a message that she was on her way. Finally, she could go enjoy the fair properly.
Ellie watched as Ian put his hood on and walked out of the apartment. She gave a look to Lexi as she put her hands up in surrender, "You could have been nicer..." Ellie walked out of the apartment as well as she headed toward Ian. Once she was by his side, she pulled on his sleeve to make him stop. "Sorry about Lexi... She kind off figured it out..." she gave him a side smile.
Ellie hooked her arm around his as she asked, "Do you want to go without them, or should we wait for them to come down?" Deep down she wouldn't mind just staying in the complex with him, but she also wanted to see the Fireworks since she missed them yesterday. "I don't mind, either way, really," she continued as she looked up at him in anticipation.
Lexi grinned at the blunt fashion he had answered her. She was about to tease him a bit more, but he soon complimented everyone in the room and left. Getting the mom look from Ellie was enough for her to surrender. Trying to keep quiet as she told her to be nicer, she tried so hard not to smile at the new love birds. Ah, new love is so cute...
"I was only teasing him a little!" she called out to Ellie as she walked out of her apartment, leaving her and Ollie along in her living room. Crossing her arms in a relaxed and fake anger, she turned to Ollie and asked, "Well, do you want to tag along with us? I get it if you don't want to be the fourth wheel. I really don't want to be their Third wheel right now..."

Sam was in the middle of trying to cath a hype active Luke when he recieved a message. No wanting to ruin his clothes like last time, when he met Saren, he called out to his best friend, "You win this round but you still haven't won the war!"
Shaking his head he pulled out his phone out of his pocket and sent back a quick message to Saren, stating that he's having troubles getting Luke to get out of the dog park. Putting his phone away he looked over to Luke who was casually sitting on the grass, waiting for Sam to come at him. Shaking his head, he called out, "Oh, don't give me that! You know I have something to do with Saren. You need to go back to the apartment!"
Sam prepared himself as Luke began to get ready to run. With his arms stretched he motioned for Luke to make the first move which he did. As the German Sheperd ran quickly past his right side, Sam almost fell over from missing. Growing frustrated with his dog, being toyed with, but a smile was still on his face, enjoying all too much.

Nick couldn't help but smile when he saw Saren's enthusiasm and the way her eyes practically lit up at the mention of the animal shelter.
He listened, nodding occasionally as the words spilled out of his blue-haired friend.
"I like it," he said, watching her scribble something down on a business card.
Taking it from her, he studied the number for a moment before offering her a mischievous grin.
"Hey, you don't even need to ask. I'll help however I can, but I call dibs on kitten cuddling duties." Spook laughed a bit, shaking his head.
His eyes widened in delight when he was given the bag of cookies, and he resisted the urge to snatch them and stuff his face. He hadn't been allowed many sweets due to his manager wanting him in peak condition for touring, and his sugar cravings were admittedly off the charts.
"You have no idea how much I missed these, thanks so much. And ugh, I didn't even know there was a fair... tour brain strikes again."
Saren seemed in a bit of a hurry to get somewhere, and Nick had no desire to hold her up. Probably a date, he thought bitterly, frowning for a moment before he remembered that she was still there.
"Thanks again," he called, clutching the bag of cookies to his chest before finally making it back to his apartment.
The familiarity was comforting, but he wasn't going to stay for long. The idea of a fair intrigued him, and he was sick and tired of having to drag around a bunch of bodyguards wherever he went. It would be fairly easy to avoid being noticed if he were careful, or at least, he hoped it would.
Either way, the teenage star was feeling both reckless and lonely, which was a dangerous combination for anyone.
Changing into black skinny jeans, an oversized grey hoodie and high top converse, he slid on a rather plain beanie and studied himself in the mirror.
Plain, a bit gloomy, but altogether forgettable. Perfect.
Waving goodbye to Fluffy, Nicholas made sure to lock the door before calling a taxi and heading downstairs.
If he were smart, he'd have a chance to feel normal again, something he hadn't even realized he'd been missing.
Flagging down the cab, he took a deep breath as he told the man where he wanted to go.
"This better work..." Spook whispered, the click of the seatbelt drowned out by his pounding heart.
"Seen anyone yet?" Vanna asked, pushing through the crowd of fair-goers as her camera-toting friend struggled to keep up.
Vinni pouted, letting out an exasperated sigh. "No! What are the chances that one of the people we spied on from Nick's apartment is going to be here, again? Because I think it's pretty unlikely. We'd have better luck staking out the building like I suggested!"
This seemed to annoy Vanna greatly, and she grabbed the blonde girl's hand and practically dragged her towards a display that could serve as a fairly decent vantage point.
"Look, we have to try at least! If we don't see anyone in an hour, we can grab some food and go home."
Vinni looked bemused, but finally nodded in agreement. The two girls pretended to be very interested in the display, but spent most of their time not-so-subtly glancing at the entrance.
Maybe, just maybe someone would come by and be able to help them on their little quest.
"Dahlias huh." Adelaide looked around the stand for Dahlias that would go with some Carnations. She smiled to herself when Malia tightened her grip. "That idea is perfect. Hmm, let me just see what would be a good color..." Adelaide bought a bouquet filled with Dahlias and carnations. The carnations had to be pink of course. But she didn't know what Malias favorite color was so she just took one of every color they had. She also bought two sunflowers for Pluto and James.
Stepping away from the booth, with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and Malia's hand in the other, Adelaide was feeling pretty darn good today. "So, where do you want to go now? Didn't you say you wanted to wander around?"
James had long since finished his jog and was resting on a bench, reading a book he had picked up from a bookstore. He didn't care that there was a festival going on. All he cared about was that he was done his work and the moving men where doing their job. Now he could go back to the apartment and sit on a couch and watch some Twin Peaks.
He had just reached an exciting spot in the story when he was interrupted by a yip. "Ugh, who let their dog lo-" his eyes widened a bit when he saw Kalam sitting infront of him. This was not a dog. Why does someone have a fox here in the park? Who does it belong to?
He slowly reached down to pet its head gently. He looked around, making sure there was no one around to witness what was about to happen next. "Aaawww! You are so cute! No, beautiful!!!" He practically squealed, he was super excited to see such a thing here in the park. "At first I was thinking you were just some loose animal. Now I see you are way too beautiful to be a wild animal. Your owner must take wonderful care of you!" When James was alone, he would often times talk to the cute animals that were around. If it wasn't for the men moving furniture into his apartment, he would probably be talking to Hotaru right now. He continued to pet the beautiful beast but not too rough in case the fox didn't like it.
"Alright, the to floor is the last one to check, sir," one of the Security team members.
"I don't think the top floor would be much to check," Ivan reassured as he and the two security men entered the elevator, "The top floor houses two singers, I would expect they have their own securtiy to protect those levels." He straightened his sport blazer a bit as the Elevator dinged, announcing that they had arrived to the top floor. As he stepped out of the elevator he was faced with a two familiar looking people.
"See, no openings my the elevator and emergency stairs, nothing to worry about," he told the two men in black, "You two know what to do, call me if you see something out of place." The two men nodded and entered the elevater once more. Once they were gone, Ivan apologized for dropping by suddenly, "My apologize, my security team was just checking the building out for anything that looked off."
As he got closer to the two he noticed the two small dogs, but returned his attention to the man and woman before him, "You must be Jordan Wilde, I must congratulate you for your role and preformance on 'The Escape.' My name is Ivan Hancock, I sponced the film through the jewelery that was used in the film." Ivan extended his hand to the Jordan and then to the young lady before them.
"I'm sorry but you look familiar, but I just can't pinpoint you are, excactly," I van aske curiously, "It's quiet rude of me to not remember the name of such a beautiful lady as yourself." Ivan gave her a smile as he tried to be as polite and charming as he was raised to be. This complex keeps housing such gorgeous people...

Jordan grinned as Yoobin rambled off about what a pleasure it was to be recognized. He himself was recognized shortly after, nodding pridefully as he shook the extended hand of Yoobin. "I can't lie though, Rachauna Eastbrook was very hard to work with, but her skills on set was something I'd never seen before shooting Escape. Anyways, it was a pleasure to meet you." And with that final greeting, Jordan was gone as he walked down the hall.
As the young actor reached the hall, he glanced back and noticed Yoobin hadn't been doing anything prior to his arrival. With this in mind, Jordan sighed and patted the leg of the bulldog that rested on his shoulder. "Let's go see if she wants to come too, shall we, Conor?" Again, he could hear Billy beneath him, growling in his envy. "You'll only grow wrinkles faster with that face." He said as he walked back towards Yoobin's apartment.
"Hey, if you're not doing anything right now, would you like to follow me to the veterinarian?" He asked, "Could be fun, plus I've already found a business card for a 'Sam Nightlock' that lives around here earlier, we could call his number too. I mean, if you accept of course." As if the two dogs accompanying Jordan could read his mind, they began to bark at Yoobin, the bulldog stretched out it's tongue to lick her once more while Billy leaned onto her leg. "Like I said, it'll be fun."
As Jordan finished talking he was interrupted by another stranger, most likely a Suncrest resident."Yeah, as a matter of fact I am Jordan Wilde." He answered, nodding as Ivan finished speaking. He shook the man's hand as he continued, "Wow, you were the help? Really aided the movie, thanks. Just don't go telling everyone that I'm around though," He warned, "The fans'll go crazy."

Yoobin laughed at Jordans comments about his co-star. She really didn't get that impression from Rachauna's onscreen character, but, then again, she had never met her in real life. Maybe it was best if it stayed that way, she thought.
Soon, he bid her goodbye, walking down the hall towards the elevators. It was a bit of an awkwardly short conversation, but she didn't mind. After all, an injured animal was a lot more serious than a conversation. At least in her opinion, but maybe that was just her Asperger's talking.
Standing outside awkwardly in her house slippers, she checker her phone. Maybe she had a text, maybe she just wanted to look busy and totally not alone. The endless mystery. To her surprise, though Jordan came back, inviting her to accompany him to the veterinarian. "It could be fun." He encouraged. He could probably tell she was doing nothing after all. Alas, her plan to look busy was foiled again.
Yoobin smiled at the offer, "Well, why not? Let me just, uh..." she said, looking down at her slipper-clad feet, "Let me just get some shoes on... I should probably also get my cat out from under the bed." She turned back to face him, forcing herself to make eye contact, her biggest weakness. "It won't take long, I promise! Plus, if I dont, she'll just stay under it and whine and cry. I also don't want her to be alone under there for who knows how long after we've only been here for a short time."
Opening the door, she turned back to the man, "Why don't you guys come inside while I get this taken care of? Just, please, take off your shoes?" She asked with a laugh, ushering them inside.
Ian was about to reach into his pocket and place in his earbuds as usual, when he felt someone tug at his sleeve. The sudden motion caught him a little off guard. Turning to look at Ellie, he still found the situation unreal. He was half expecting to still wake up from this dream. Bringing up Lexi, Ian chuckled, leaning in closer. "Cant keep it a secret forever. It's fine."He stole a kiss. He would brag of his victory to Lexi later. And then question her on a few other things he had on his mind. But right now, he just wanted to live in the moment in case it were to disappear.
Feeling the warmth of Ellie as she wrapped her arm around his, he couldn't fight off a small smile. Listening to her proposal, he didn't have to think too hard. "We already promised to go watch fireworks with everyone, so we should do that. But if at some point we wander off by ourselves I'm sure they won't mind."He winked. Ian hadn't actually been a serious relationship before, so he didn't bother properly defining what just occurred earlier with Ellie. Maybe he would wait and see how things played out before putting his whole heart into it. After all, he was still waiting to wake up.
If his words had confused the girl before, they only confused her even more now. She was quite convinced that somehow Sasori was involved in some sort of experiment, altered by Kataji. I can't let my guard down around this type of man. She didn't comment on him buying the snacks. In fact, she was pleased."Hm. Your actions are appreciated." A simple thank you wasn't in Kira's vocabulary. You would catch her saying that when pigs flew. His vague answer didn't do her question justice, and she wanted to press onward into this man's heart. But she could be patient in these regards. A situation this sticky had to be unfolded slowly. And by his complete 360 of emotions, it looked like he wouldn't be spilling things immediately. He made no move to hide the fact he was hiding things, as if he were inviting everyone to gaze inside the being that was Kataji, only to find yourself in a room without a means to escape.
As they checked out and stepped out of the store, Kira took the bag of snacks and looped it around the motorcycle handle."I wouldn't be surprised if the next thing you told me is that you are part of the mafia."
---20 minutes later---
The drive was a little longer, but they had reached their destination. A Virtual Reality gaming theme park. The first park to allow players to physically navigate through man-built terrain to mimic in-game settings. However, it wasn't set to open to the public for another week. They were obviously still doing yard work around the area. But the building itself seemed pretty set to go. She parked off to the side in a fast food parking lot. Taking her helmet off she raised her arms. "Isn't it beautiful! They just started coming out with these around the world. The one back near my old house opened the day I left...so when I arrived here I immediately searched for one. Unfortunately it doesn't open yet. But that isn't stopping us!"She was speaking quietly the whole time, but took Kataji's hand to walk casually along the side of the huge building. Some parts were outdoors, but the majority was inside. "If it's like the building I'm familiar with, there should be a side door for employee's only somewhere...."
An older lady exited the door Kira was looking for, talking on the phone as she was busy locking the door, "Yes, I did a quick inspection. The electricity and water are running fine too.....only a few days left....haha I was shocked too about it..." Kira got an idea, and as the lady placed the keys in her back pocket, Kira walked by and bumped into the woman. The woman seemed surprised, but after Kira apologized sweetly, she went on her way, still a bit puzzled. Kira remved the set of keys from her pocket with a mischievous grin."Damn....didn't think there would be so many..." There were about seven or so keys on the ring, and Kira had gotten through four of them, when she saw the same woman, a bit more frantic than before, retracing her steps in the distance, her eyes glued to the ground. Crap....she noticed. Slipping the keys into her pocket, she closed the gap between her and Kataji, and as the woman's steps came closer, gauging the timing, Kira pulled on his shirt and stood on her toes to kiss him. It wasn't a special kiss, and she didn't mean anything by it. And she figured with Kataji's personality he wouldn't find it personal. "I'm sorry bu- oh!" The lady began to call out to them, but gasped instead, coverign her mouth with her hand. "Oh...uh...I'm sorry. Carry on..." And then she quickly turned around again and shuffled off.
Kira waited until the woman was completely out of site before releasing Kataji and quickly trying the fifth key on the ring, which worked, and she slipped inside with a quiet giggle.

Upon receiving Sams text message, Saren could only envision the scene and laugh. She was at the entrance to the fair now. She figured she would sort of wait here so he could find her easily. Hmm...maybe I should go surprise him. Sam was always a joy to be around, and she really wanted to see his ongoing war with Luke. She was about to walk towards the dog park when she saw two girls seemingly waiting at a display not too far into the fairground area. She wasn't sure, but they seemed to be waiting for someone. Well. It wasn't really any of her business...everyone takes photos these days. It was definitely not unnatural in the least. Maybe I should still check it out...maybe I can help them if they are looking for someone.
So she made her way over to the two girls. "Hello. That's a fancy camera. Are you waiting for someone from the complex? I am too."She figured just some small talk would make them open up more. "I dabbled in photography myself for awhile, but I wasn't the best..."
Still unsure of the woman's identity, Tavi shrugged it off. No matter. She didn't need to know every single thing about her. As the woman explained her distress, Octavia bought into it completely. The girl was just that good at acting. But as she faltered with the name of her beloved, Tavi raised an eyebrow."Fear not! My darling!" She took hold of her hands. "Just let your energy flow through my veins. Momma Octavia will tell you all you need to do!"And, after a few moments of closing her eyes, she opened them again, exclaiming,"I have felt the energy!!! Yes yes, this one sided love you feel might not be so one sided after all! Take this!" She reached below the table, fished around, and placed a bag of bacon on the table. Truth be told, some customer previously had wasted all their cash but wanted a reading, so they traded in bacon for a reading.
"Take this bacon my darling, and run to this beloved of yours. And the energy is telling me he's hungry as hell."She took out a pendulum and a mini elemental chart to place on the table. "Let's see where this guy of yours is located."And, as the pendulum hovered over the chart, Octavia allowed the wind to blow, pushing the pendulum between the air and earth symbols on the chart. "Yes, yes, so it seems. The location you are looking for is grassy and peaceful. Perhaps a park? You might try the nearest dog park."She got out a fan and began fanning herself. "Well well, off you go before he disappears! My readings are only accurate for a limited time you know? Ah...it helps next time if you tell me the proper name so I don't have to waste time looking for a Jason. Girl you might be good at acting, but your heart be an open book. The energy don't lie~"
She didn't know the exact situation, or if the guy had any feelings for her at all. She didn't even know if the girl was lying about her feelings. Tavi simply focused on the person the girl was thinking of the most at the moment, and the main energy she could feel from that person was hunger. Such a strong sense of hunger...is he homeless?? Little did she know she was taking the energy from a furry little entity around him.
Vinni was about to say 'I told you so' and drag Vanna to one of the food stands when the pair noticed a blue-haired woman approaching them.
"Ooh, thanks-" Vinni cooed, but she was cut off by a very excited Vanna before she could finish.
"You're from Suncrest Complex?!"
Grinning brightly, she elbowed Vanna in the stomach before turning to her and giving the blonde a rather smug and triumphant expression. "See, I was right. This is our chance!"
Vanna pushed past her friend, ignoring what the woman had been saying in a flurry of lovesick energy.
"So, do you know anything about Nicholas Sterling? Like where he lives?"
Vinni, not to be deterred, nodded frantically."Or when his next album will be released?"
"Maybe his favorite hangout spots?"
"Or what brand of hair gel he uses? Cologne?Toothpaste?"
Determined to top Vinni's quest for trivia, Vanna prepared her own rapid-fire barrage of questions.
"Is it true that he has a secret tattoo somewhere? And did he really get sick for a whole week because his personal trainer made him eat broccoli? What about his pet tarantula? Oh! Oh! Oh! Most importantly, what does he wear to sleep?"
The girls giggled manically, their eyes practically glowing with mischief and the fact they were so close to getting the info they desired.
"And most importantly..."
"Willhemarryme?" Vanna and Vinni screeched in unison, staring up at the woman with smitten, unblinking eyes.
"Well?" Vanna asked expectantly, her gloved hand resting firmly on her hip.
Ellie couldn't help the smile that danced on her lips after Ian kissed her again. She was enjoying this too much. She had never thought that Ian would have excepted her, being young as she was, but here they were. I don't think if Kira had dropped by earlier, I might have never gotten the nerves to actually be open with my feelings.
"We already promised to go watch fireworks with everyone, so we should do that. But if at some point we wander off by ourselves I'm sure they won't mind."
"You're right," she pouted a bit as she tried to look cute, "I mean as long as I get to see the fireworks with you, that would be enough for me." She looked up at Ian as she got on her tip toes and gave him a quick kiss as well. Laughing a bit, she pulled Ian along as she announced, "Well, I guess we should wait for them at the lobby."
Sam was carrying Luke triumphally as he walked to the elevators. "You are one hell of an opponent, dear sir, but you are no match for me," Sam told the canine as Luke just wanted in joy. Knowing his dog, he knew that the German Sheperd was going to be out for a long time, which helped to keep the apartment from getting destroyed by his antics.
Once behind his apartment door, Sam placed Luke down, who ran off to Sam's room to sleep. It was common for Sam to follow, but Luke popped his head out to watch his owner and friend making sure he was still presentable. When Sam was about to leave, he heard Luke bark at him. Confused at the sudden bark he asked, "What's wrong, Luke?"
Luke began to nip at his ankles, which he hadn't done since he was a pup. Kneeling before Luke, Sam gave him a pat on the head and reassured him, "I'm just going out for a bit. I'll be back." With that, Sam walked out of the apartment and headed over to the Fair entrance. As he walked out of the elevator, he noticed Ellie with a guy which was strange for him to see her so close to someone like that.
He waved quickly and exited the building, taking in the warm weather once more. The Fair was normally known to be on the Boardwalk, but over the years it slowly began to go through the main road leading up to the beach. It wasn't far so, he decided to walk there as he sent Saren a Text, telling her he was on his way. It didn't take long for him to arrive at the entrance and to find Saren as she spoke to some girls.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything..." Sam asked as he heard the tail end of the strange girl's conversation. He stood next to Saren as he tried to piece together what was happening before him. Red flags were going off, but he tried to not put his cop mind on when he was Saren, or with anyone really. Something about them just didn't seem... normal?

A part of her knew Kataji knew his way around situations like this. He was probably constantly breaking into places to find info. So when he revealed his lock pick tools she shook her head."Longer than necessary or not, you aren't here on a job. We're here to have fun, so you should take your time." She walked throughout the building, it's windows were tinted so anyone outside were neglected view inside. It added to the "other worldly" experience. Or so, that's what the company claimed. As she gazed around curiously, his words fell upon the kiss, and Kira chuckled, turning to look at him but continuing with her steps. "Don't be so conceited. Even if I did, would you complain?"
She didn't think about there being places like this in Japan, but then again, she had never been. "Is that so?"And for once, she allowed a pure emotion to shine through, amazement. "I guess they are pretty advanced when it comes to things like this huh?"She brightened, tugging on his shirt. "Then, show me how everything works. You'll play won't you?"She walked over through a tunnel like structure and found several rooms dedicated to a game. "A FPS...Fantasy RPG...Street fighter...oh Kataji! Look its like Kalam!"She pointed to the game in the corner, more of a sensual experience adventure game, where one would explore a terrain based off of Fox Island in Japan. She loved video games, and this place was uncharted territory for her.

Saren was completely taken off guard. Still smiling, she began to reply to the first of practically fifty questions, "Huh? Nick? Oh yes, we're friends, he lives on the- Wait what?"They had shot out an overwhelming series of questions before she even got more than a few words out. "U-Uh.." Could these be fans?? My they are energetic. Cologne? She tried to remember what he smelled like, and immediately chased the embarrassing thought away. With the mention of a secret tattoo Saren had to admit she was a little curious about that herself, but quickly shook the thought off as well.
As the couple went on, Saren could feel her barrier crumbling. It was like she had arrived at a boss battle in a video game and she had no mana to perform her attacks, and her defense was dropping, fast. "Broccoli? F-Fluffy? S-S-Sleep??"And then, their final attack, as they performed it in unison, a complete K.O.!! "M-m-m-MARRY??" Just how old are these girls??!! The normally collected Saren was not prepared for this. E-Eh? What am I supposed to do?? Nick would probably appreciate it if I said nothing right?? Yes! I'll just run away!!! And she was about to do just that when Sam showed up, causing her to jump a bit. Ahhh....quick Saren quick! Use that clever mind of yours!
Taking Sam's hand in hers she collected herself. "Ah! Nick! I'm so glad you got here in time. This is the Nick I was talking about. We were just headed to the fair. Kind of in a hurry though, perhaps you can borrow him another time."And then she dragged him off with her. Hopefully they bought that and don't think I actually know Nick....

Sam was confused at first at the whole situation but soon caught up enough to understand the situation. "I'm guessing I'm covering for someone?" he laughed, "Who were those girls? It seemed like they were up to something..." Sam just let Saren drag him through the crowd as he continued to laugh at the current situation he was currently in.
"Sammy!" he heard his name being called through the crowd to find a small familiar hand waving at him. "Nicole?" he asked, halting Saren, "How did you find me in this crowd?" Sam watched as both his sisters came up to him with there friends as well. Nicole laughed and answered, "Oh, James pointed you out. You must be the mystery lady that has gotten Sam so riled up!"
Sam gave his sister a look before turning to Saren and introducing her to the twins, "Sorry about them, Saren. These are my sisters, Nicole and Minerva, and her friends. Girls this is Saren, we're friends." Sam tried to calm his best to calm his nerves as he debated if he and Saren were more then friends. Are we business partners as well? In a way, we are.
