Her eyes extinctively scanned the area, only to find it hadn't changed much since the last time she set foot in here. Turning to face Xander with her hands on her hips and a troubled look, "Xander! You've barely moved these boxes...don't tell me. You only unboxed the necessities and went straight to work. And have been at it since? Geez. Maybe I should really force you to take a proper break." She sighed, her features softening once more. Making her way into the kitchen, she asked, "What were you planning to make? There are few dishes that I'm unfamiliar with." Saren allowed her hands to drift along the cooking ware with warmth in her eyes. Being the heiress of her father's company growing up, there wasn't a need to teach her such culinary duties. But Saren would often beg the household chef to teach her. In some special cases she would even cook for her father. Each time she cooked, it only brought back pleasant memories.
Of course, she never imagined she would be here, cooking for someone other than family. But it felt nice. "Thank you for allowing me to do this for you." She gazed back at Xander and Titan. She was almost certain he would have refused at the door.

The thought of eating something specially made by the girl he felt so fond of warmed his heart. With Warren gone I was beginning to think I would have to fix myself instant noodles tonight. I guess I am saved. Thunder crackled through the air after a streak of lightning lit up the sky, and before Ian knew it, he stumbled back a bit in surprise as Ellie buried herself into his chest. Even Alec scurried under the couch. Of course, Saber was still eating out of his bowl like a boss. There may have been an ear flick at the sound of thunder, but nothing more. Ian allowed Ellie to sink into him, holding her a bit more tightly than before.
An amused grin spread across Ian's face when she pulled away, revealing that cute face of embarrassment. She didn't need an excuse to do what she did, but he was a bit surprised to find her fearful of storms such as this. then again, he was ignorant of her true reasons for being so. He watched her silently as she brushed her own hair back and asked directly if he wanted her to make him something. But he wanted to mess with her before properly answering. "You're making such a cute face right now." He pulled her back into him, this time by her waist. Gazing at her with teasing eyes, he leaned down to nip her bottom lip before fully committing to a kiss.
If she keeps showing such cute sides of herself, how am I supposed to hold back? He carried his kiss to her neck, but only briefly before pulling away, releasing his grasp on her waist and bringing one of his hands up to play with a strand of her hair. "I want you to." He finally replied. "Warren keeps the fridge stocked quite well. Make your favorite dish. I'll eat anything you make." He softened his eyes. Alec finally peeked from out of the couch, and returned to his food bowl.
