Ellie nodded as she heard the man's order. As she worked on the coffee and getting his croissant, she jumped from the screen, the twins, and the man. Being caught in her act of looking over the twin's, Ellie laughed lightly as she answered her, "Just keep tabs for a friend. He doesn't want his sisters doing something they shouldn't. Really I would just let the girls do as they want, but it's the least I can do for Sam."

As she closed the lid on the coffee, Ellie handed the man his order as she smiled. "I have never actually had someone to look after me in the same way or have I done the same. This is my first stake out," she laughed, "Right, your Black coffee and a croissant. I hope to see you around. You must be new to the complex. My name's Eleanor but everyone knows me as Ellie. If you ever need something or help with anything, I'm usually working here, or you can just knock on the landlord's door."

Saren nodded at his answer as she left to enter the kitchen, the controller still in her hand. She noticed and set it in the dining table. "Hmm...well we could play a battle match game like Street Fighter, or you know good old fashioned Mario." She giggled. Upon hearing Sam's comment about Zara and Luke, Saren let out a playful sigh. "She likes to show off around others." Saren bent down and opened her arms. "Come here princess!" Zara hesitated, but hopped off her makeshift throne and pranced over into Saren's arms. Saren ruffled her ears and rose up again. "I don't know what I would do without her." She opened the fridge and hunted a bit before pulling out a cold bottled water for Sam. Reaching out to hand it to Sam, Zara yelped and leaped in-between their legs with excitement thinking she had something for her, causing the front of Saren to bend forward colliding right into Sam. She practically face planted into his chest. The warmth of Sam was a contrast to the cold water bottle in one of her hands, and for a moment she just stayed attached to him, gripping his shirt lightly.

Then she realized she was too close for too long, and immediately gathered herself, backing up. It was rare for Saren to become nervous, but when moments like this occurred within her personal space, it got to her. She was still holding the water bottle, and with such force now in order to keep her own heart from leaping out of her chest from embarrassment. Unfortunately she was applying too much pressure and the top just busted open and smack dab hit Sam in the forehead. A bit of water splashed out, but not a ton. "Oh! Oh my god! I'm so sorry. You aren't bleeding are you?" Saren gasped in horror as she quickly grabbed a towel to wipe up the excess water and tried to assess the damage. All the while Zara finally moved out of the way, whining a bit in disappointment of having no treat.

(I was feeling chaotic tonight lol)

Ian had to admire the girl's determination. But as she questioned if he had feelings for the barista, he bit his lip in thought. He didn't answer her right away. She mentioned enemies, and his eyes widened slightly. Woah, so she rolls that way too huh? He thought he would feel uneasy or something. But somehow it was rather exciting. Then he turned to face the woman with a chuckle, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to pull her into a hug. "Not anymore than I like you." He teased, releasing her but not reducing the distance between them. "Yeah...I guess you could say she's on my mind."

Grinning, he let out a fake sigh. "Ahh, but it looks like you have a better standing at the moment. Best friends. There's probably still time to sweep her off her feet~ You're gorgeous, talented, and you've got that vexing accent. Its an amazement she hasn't already fallen for you." He was caressing her ego. But his gaze was challenging, his voice playful. Finally he decided to put all hands on deck. "There's also someone else I've been thinking of since the start of the movie....." And his face actually reddened slightly. Admitting something like this was hard for the guy. Harder than anything he had ever done before. Harder than having to deal with the aftermath of a girl you have a one night stand with but find out she wants more. "....Samson. Do you....have a picture?" He looked at her hesitantly. He would probably drop any girl in a heart beat for all the cats in the world. And he's still not sure how to feel about that.

"Not anymore than I like you. Yeah...I guess you could say she's on my mind."

Lexi smiled at the sudden closeness that Ian was showing.
"Even when she's not trying, Ellie is uniting people together to be friends. You go to love that about her," she laughed. When he brought up her better chances, Lexi shrugged and answered, "Just being friends can take you so far. For all, I know she only swings on one side, the male side, but that won't stop me from looking for someone for myself. If she likes me then she can just ask me out, it's not like she already knows that I like her a bit, but thank you for your compliments."

"There's also someone else I've been thinking of since the start of the movie... Samson. Do you....have a picture?"

Blinking at the sudden sound of her little furball, she then nodded and took out her mobile out of her pajama pockets. As she unlocked it, the first image was Samson himself as he slept on his bed in Lexi's workshop office. She maneuvered to her albums for Ian to look at more than just one of him. Multiple albums popped up, for different occasions and research, but quickly opened the one labeled family.
"Here you go, most of them are of Samson now, but there might be some of my family between some," she explained.

She watched over his shoulder as he swiped through the images. When an image of her family members, she would explain who they were,
"Oh that is my mum and sister. Sorry, that's just my brother and his kid." The fist one was of an older looking Lexi with red hair, and a red headed lady with blue eyes, as they smiled playfully. The second was a man with a young girl, both had blue eyes with brown hair as the man helped with the girl's shoes.

"Good old Mario Kart always there to make one's day either great or worse, but it's an old favorite," Sam laughed remembering the time he played when he was younger. Sam watched Saren and Zara bound as he smiled at the sight of them being so happy. "I understand," he answered her, "Luke's always there to make my day better."

As He followed Saren return toward the couch as she was about to hand him the cold bottle of water, with his arm, stretched toward her. Time seemed to slow a bit as he noticed Saren was falling forward onto him. With his outstretched arm, he took a hold of her waist as she landed on his chest, not wanting for her to fall on the coffee table. Sam felt his shirt being pulled a bit from Saren's grasp but he just stayed still trying to stay calm.
"Are you okay?" he asked her as she pushed back from him, "You didn't hurt-"

Just as he tried to check on her, the cap from the water bottle flew and hit his forehead. It struggled for a moment, from the sudden impact of the cap, but it didn't hit. He's gotten hurt way worse before. His jeans began to soak up some of the water that escaped the bottle but didn't mind as much as he rubbed his forehead. Laughing a bit as Saren began to scramble to make things right.

"Oh! Oh my god! I'm so sorry. You aren't bleeding are you?"

"Hey, don't worry about it," he laughed, "I'm more worried about you since you fell over. Are you okay?" He glanced down to Zara as well, wanting to make sure the small dog didn't get injured in the process of the whole ordeal, as she whined. He reached down to pet her head, clearly, she was not happy about something, "How about you Zara, are you okay?"

Oh my lord, he's so cute when he's embarrassed! And that little giggle...okay, just keep it together. It seemed that Pluto really was interested in him, whether it was being friends or more. Ollie nodded slowly, keeping his composure and not going in for the kill right away. "I hope you won't." Taking his food, he followed Pluto and took his seat across from him. A pleasant surprise, he'd bought him a Pepsi. Coke wasn't sweet enough for him, and too mainstream. Immediately chowing down on the pizza, Ollie was finished before Pluto stuck out his hand. His mouth was completely full, his hands were greasy, and his face was probably really messy, too. The woes of being a very quick eater. Swallowing the food and wiping off his hands and face with some napkins, he got most of the stuff off of him. "I, uh...am not presently earning a living. I do make music, though. If you want, I can play a little something on my guitar sometime. Like Sasha said, I'm Oliver, but call me Ollie if you want. MacDanard. Nice to meet you." Ollie reached out and took Pluto's hand, shaking it. He didn't let go, though. For some reason, he just kept holding the guy's hand. Okay, okay, okay. Why am I not letting go? Sure, his hand's the softest hand I've ever freaking felt, but I have to give it back. But he didn't.

Zara wagged her tail happily as Sam bent down to show her some love, licking his arm. Saren about had it. Yeah....just kill me now. My only regret will be not starting the shelter and having someone to take care of Zara. She went into the fridge to grab another bottle of water, this time setting it on the counter immediately. "I'l just set this here. And yes I am fine thank you for asking." She went over to the sink to grab a small box that sat near the edge. Upon shaking the box, Zara's eyes perked and she pranced over and sat on her haunches, pawing at the air. "Yes, yes, I know you were hoping for a treat weren't you?" Giving into her dog's desires, she placed a bone shaped treat into her mouth, and watched as Zara took the treat to her makeshift throne before eating it. Saren shook her head, a smile growing on her. She couldn't feel awful when she had such an adorable family member by her side.

"I'm still very sorry." She smiled apologetically at Sam, handing him a small towel to wipe off any water that may have spilled on him. Her hand reached up to move his bangs to the side. "Mmm....it's a little red. But looks like it should go away fairly quickly." She grabbed the controller she had left on the counter and began moving towards the couch again. "Still up for a match before you have to go home? I am completely ready to school you in Mario Kart." Sometimes it was fun to dip into the classics.

The movie was almost over, not that Ian could tell. He was too absorbed in the conversation he was having with Lexi. Over his crush nonetheless. Or, was it more accurate to say their crush? He couldn't say he imagined his night going this way. But he was somewhat glad it had. It was relieving for the man to open himself up. Even if Lexi was practically a stranger, he felt closer to her after tonight than any other girl he had slept with. And they were enemies in love.

Taking her phone, his eyes lit up, and not from the screen. He's so...cute. Ian wanted to reach through the phone to admire his beauty in person. Alas, technology fails to be that advanced in this age. And Ian's heart was gripped tightly by each photo of the cat. Lexi would jump in to explain the photos of her family members, and Ian would register their image into his mind. "You look a lot like your sister. I'm sure I could have guessed without you mentioning who she was." He softly smiled. He didn't keep photos of his family in his phone. Warren was more the type for keeping tons of family photos. Ian might not be good with names, but once he was made aware of a person, he never forgot their face. And to him, that memory alone was all he needed. "Thanks for letting me see." He handed her the phone back. "Though I'm sure photos don't do him clearly enough justice."

"You look a lot like your sister. I'm sure I could have guessed without you mentioning who she was."

Lexi smiled at the moment,
"Yeah she dyed her hair red just so she would stop being referred to as me. Really I didn't mind being her, here and there, but then it became a huge problem when boys came to the picture."

"Thanks for letting me see. Though I'm sure photos don't do him clearly enough justice."

"Well if you still want to meet him," she announced, taking her mobile back, "You can always join Ellie and me on Sunday for the fitting. While I work, you can play with him. He's a very energetic kitten." Just as she turned back to the movie, the credits were just appearing, ending movie night. The lights flooded the room without warning catching some of the guests by surprise. "I guess that ends our fun," she stated.

Lexi stood up from her blanket, folding it up neatly. The blanket that Ian gave her was still around her shoulders as she turned over to Ian and gave him a bow of her head,
"I'll see you around." With that she ducked out of the cafe, waving at Ellie as she caught her leaving. Well, that was most definitely an exciting evening. On the plus side, Samson has a new friend to play when she needed to slip out for long periods of time.

Sam laughed as Zara's licks tickled him a bit. Saren came back to the living room, putting a new bottle of water on the coffee table as she thanked him for worrying about her. Before he could ask if she was sure, she left the area to get Zara some treats. He smiled at Saren as she returned with a towel for him to dry off his jeans, no damage done.

Sam jumped in surprise when Saren touched his forehead ever so slowly,
"Mmm....it's a little red. But looks like it should go away fairly quickly... Still up for a match before you have to go home? I am completely ready to school you in Mario Kart."

It took him a moment to snap out of whatever spell he was on just then and cleared his throat,
"You're on." It took them a better amount of an hour to play three matches, Saren coming out on top with two matches won. "Man, that was fun!" Sam exclaimed as he placed the controller on the coffee table. His phone went off as he says a message from Ellie, announcing that the girls were heading up the Elevator after saying goodbye to their friends.

"Well, I have work tomorrow," Sam announced, "Once again, thank you for having me over. It's never a dull moment with you." He began to head to the front door, saying goodbye to Zara as he took his textbooks from her, "Sorry, your highness. You be good to your mom. Don't have her fall when she's alone." He gave Saren a final wave goodbye as he opened the door and to the elevators. Just before entering the Elevator that arrives, Sam turned to Saren and asked, "I have Sunday off, if you're free, would you like to go to the Boardwalk Fair?" The elevator was about to close when he hoped in, not wanting to make the other guest waiting for the elevator. "Text me if you do!" he called out just as the doors closed.

"Ah, a stake out for a friend. Sounds fun." He took the warm coffee and turned to look at Plut behind him doing something weird. He then turned back to Ellie, "I agree with letting them be. They are in front of others anyway, it's not like they can get away with much." He picked up the croissant and smiled at her. "I bet you will see more of me if you always work here. Thank you, see you another time." He paid her the exact amount needed and was on his way over to Adelaide. They both sat and watched the awkward exchange between Pluto and the other guy. James felt a twinge of pride when Pluto used one of his lines.

The next morning, Ellie enjoyed the comfort that her bed gave her as she laid under the covers, not looking forward to getting back to her busy schedule. Her phone went off, the alarm filling the enclosed room. She didn't fight the alarm, it was a habit to just get out of bed when it rang. Today's Sunday, perfect day of the week to surf, but the beach was crowded due to the Boardwalk Fair. "Well, I have other plans," she announced to herself as Ellie hoped out of bed and got ready in her lazy clothes that consisted of black flowy shorts, burgundy tank top, and cream colored kimono.

"Good morning," Ellie called out to her Aunt and Uncle as they were just cleaning up the table.

Aunt Marion looked apologetic as she scrambled to the kitchen,
"Oh, Ellie! I thought you were going to sleep well past noon with the Fair. Give me a minute to make you something."

Ellie laughed as she pulled her Aunt to sit down,
"It's okay, Aunt Mari. I have plans with Lexi. I'm helping her with her designs, so I'll be in her apartment."

"Alright," Uncle Jeff said, "Just call us if you decide to change plans."

    "Will Do!"

Ellie left her apartment and walked to the Cafe as she finds Lexi enjoying her morning coffee and her breakfast. As she took a seat across from her, she noticed a new face looking over at them. The man just nodded and continued with his day. Lexi noticed Ellie watching the man as he went to sit at a far table.

    "He's cute,"
Lexi commented, then turned to Ellie and teased, "Is he the mystery man, you seem to not want to tell me about!?"

Ellie turned red as she waved her hands in front of her, "No! It's just that he's new. I haven't seen him here before. I went to the Fair yesterday with friends from school, so I didn't see any newcomers. There have been so many residents that seemed to just leave out of the blue..."

    "Right,"
Lexi took a sip of her coffee, "Are you going to get something. I'm still hoping for my male assistant to join us."

"Oh, right! You said something about inviting someone with us,"
Ellie signaled the barista, which nodded and began to work behind the bar, "Who did you invite?"

"I invited two, I'm not sure if any of them will come by, but I'm hoping for at least one to come."

Ian groaned as one of his beloveds, Saber, pawed at his face. Alec on the other hand, was curled up beside him. Saber was always the early riser of the family. Ian was not appreciative. If it weren't for the penetrating eyes that overwhelmed him with love, he would be annoyed. Rising, he growled at the sunlight that seeped into the room. A sweet scent reached his nose, enough to lull him out of bed completely. His hair still ruffled, he kissed Alec's sleepy face. Saber had bounded off the bed, ready for some breakfast of his own.

Warren was making waffles. A fresh bowl of fruit already lay out on the table. Turning to see his brother, Warren smiled softly. "Morning. These should be done soon. If you wanted to eat before taking a shower." Ian blinked a few times, before making his way over to the kid and ruffling his hair. "You'll make someone a fine wife someday." Warren blushed, elbowing his brother in the chest. "G-geez! Would you stop with that crap? I am a man!!"

After eating and freshening up, Ian headed out for the day. He had heard about the fair going on today, and to be honest he wasn't going until late in the evening. Being out in the sun longer than necessary wasn't alluring in the least. He hadn't planned on meeting up with Lexi originally. But thoughts of meeting Samson got his heart racing. So when he entered the cafe, he immediately scanned the area for the British woman. Only, his eyes landed upon the usual. Ellie. It was just his luck that Lexi had been beside her. Right...she invited her to help with the design fittings as well. He had completely forgotten. And, suddenly he wasn't so sure about this entire ordeal. Ollie was supposed to come too right? He just had to hope for the best. Taking a big breath, he walked over to Lexi and Ellie.

Sitting beside Lexi, he tried his best not to focus too much on Ellie. "Hey. Everyone's morning going well?" Ian was wearing dark gray jeans and a navy T-shirt, a black and silver chain bracelet around his wrist. He fiddled with the chain nonchalantly. He wasn't exactly sure, but he figured Ellie knew who he was. He did order things from the cafe before, and sometimes they wrote their customer names on the outside of the coffee cups. So he didn't introduce himself. Even if it would have been the more proper and polite way.

"Hey. Everyone's morning going well?"

Lexi smiled up to her new found frienemy,
"Good Morning, Ian! I beginning to wonder if you were going to flake on us."

Ellie straightened up a bit as she gave Ian a smile as well, trying to hide her quickening heart a bit,
"Ian, I haven't gotten to see you around the Cafe Lately. Morning. Oh, have you had breakfast? Lexi and I still indulging..."

"Are you two close?" Lexi a bit curious, sending a side glance to Ian.

Ellie shook her head and answered,
"Not really. I mean he has had quick passing conversations when I'm working, but we haven't gotten that far into actually getting to know each other." She turned to Lexi and asked back, "Wait how do you know of Ian?"

Lexi smiled as she took a sip of her coffee,
"We bumped into each other at the supermarket, then we talked on Friday during movie night."

Ellie nodded at her answer as she took a sip of her own late.
Well, I guess that's good that they know each other... As Ellie snapped out of her thoughts she turned to Lexi again asked, "Wait so who else did you invite? I mean you used to not have the time to catch up with people around the building."

"Oliver," she answered, "Do you know him?"

"In passing..." Ellie told her, but quickly turned to Ian, "So, how are your cats doing?"

Ellie's voice was charming, and Ian almost forgot to reply to her question. "Ah, yeah. My brother is quite the chef." But seeing as the women were in fact indulging still, and it was slightly awkward to watch others eat and such, so he decided to get up and order a french vanilla latte. When he returned, Lexi was bringing up how they met in the supermarket and on movie night. Lexi was truly a god send. He would have mentioned it out loud, but he figured that would require him explaining the incident that led to the meeting in the first place, and he didn't want Ellie knowing how misfortune followed him around the supermarket each time.

But as Ellie questioned who the other male was, Ian's eyes clouded with mischief. "Hmm...did she mention how he practically poured his heart out to her on movie night and she struck him down cold?" He chuckled a bit. It was clear he was only teasing. As he took a sip of his latte, Ellie prompted him on his cats, and he almost choked on his drink. How does she....Then he remembered. Sometimes he ordered small cups of whipped cream for his cats at the cafe. Though he hadn't really talked about them in much detail, he ended up mentioning them ever so subtly. Still, he hadn't expected Ellie to remember those little bits of info, especially from him. Maybe she was just observant.

He averted his eyes to his latte in front of him, but a small smile grew over his face. "Well...Alec is a lazy kitty as usual...and Saber still paws at my face when I'm sleeping because he thinks I'm dead. But they are both as cute and cuddly as ever." A light blush crossed his face briefly. "N-not that I cuddle them that often....they like to play with my hoodie strings. So its their fault really." Their fault for being so cute. Just like its your fault...He gazed up at Ellie again, before returning to his latte, that he was drinking despite how hot it still was.

Lexi looked at him as he mentioned the whole event from Friday night, but Ellie brushed off the look and asked, "What? Did you say no to a date? I've told you to go out more! I mean before Thursday you only knew me and now you know Ian and Oliver..."

"Mummy Ellie," Lexi announced as she took Ellie's arm and hugged it, "I love it when you mother me, but you are right... It's just that it was going too fast in my mind, so I just said no. I did say he should take me on a date before anything else..."

Ellie laughed at Lexi's actions and said, "Well as long as you are safe."

"I envy both of you," Ellie announced, "I wish I had my own pets... but my Aunt and Uncle are allergic to almost every furry pet. I don't want to burden them... I guess that's why I live vicariously through Lexi and Sam, taking care of your pets when you two are out."

"You know you can always come over to play with Samson," Lexi smiled at her, "I would think that Sam would let you play with his... dog, was it?"

Malia quickly finished putting away her clothes in the walking closet that the Interior designer put up for her to use for her grand collection of clothes that would soon be filled with the new ones later on. After checking the temperature, she decided it was the perfect weather to go out and take some pictures. Malia had heard of the fair by the beach, which was perfect for her to take plenty of candite pictures of Seasiders.

Changing out of her jeans and into a pair of navy blue shorts, she took her camera and carry-on with her as she headed down to the Lobby. As she walked by the mildly busy cafe, noting a number of people around. Shrugging she decided to see if they had something cold to drink. Malia noticed the two girls with a guy. Well they're cute, Malia thought as she walked over to the counter, I wonder of they live here...

"Can I have an iced coffee," she told the barista. As she waited for her drink, she began to check her camera and double checking that she had everything she needs, like memory cards and extra batteries.

~Marco Galbo~

Though it had taken all morning, Marco was finally able to move the furniture he needed from his house back to his apartment room, which consisted of two drawers, a desk, some shelves, and his bed, along with his lamp, comic books, Beastman miniature army (along with a table to up them on) and his dinosaur of a laptop. Though Abigail carried lighter boxes full of his stuff, Marco did the bulk of the heavy lifting, carrying up most of his furniture. Each time he went to carry something, though, Abigail had to look away or preoccupy herself in order to avoid getting a nosebleed from looking at Marco's sweaty muscles.

After the two were done, Marco flopped against his bed as Abigail sat on the desk chair as she wiped her forehead with a napkin. "Good lord, Marco." Abigail said as she folded up the napkin, "Why on earth does your stuff have to be so heavy!?"

"Beats me." Marco said with a grin, relieved to be finally done with carry things all day, "I'm gonna be sleeping like a goddamn bear tonight, though."

Abigail chuckled as her cellphone began to ring, prompting her to stand up and check it, "Oh shoot! I gotta leave you again."

As she then got up and made her way to the door, Abigail turned back to Marco as she then added, "Hey... I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I-I assumed that this place came with furniture and I left you without-"

"Don't sweat it, Abby." Marco replied as he weakly waived his arm in the air, "I don't mean that as a pun, by the way. Because, well, we're both sweating more than Niagara Falls."

Abigail chuckled from Marco's response as she then waived goodbye, closing Marco's door behind her as she made her way downstairs (She's open for interaction, also). Meanwhile, Marco closed his eyes in exhaustion as he laid on his bed, wearing a grey t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. One would point out that he was wearing the exact same cloths as yesterday, but the young man didn't care; all he wanted to do was relax and spend the rest of the month getting to know this place before he would focus on getting a job.

"I could really go for a good swim, if they even got a pool here, I mean." Marco commented to himself as he still kept his eyes closed, "Whateves... I'm hungry."

It was entertaining to watch the girls talk together, and when the guy joined the two, he couldn't help smile. Three very attractive people were together which was adding to Ivan's new list of people he would like to get to know beyond just being an acquaintance. The last time he had a partner, it was short lived after they wanted to seem normal then be with a man. I swear some people have to be more confident when it comes to those they love.

Ivan was finishing up his meal when a glowing beacon of gold and silver entered the Cafe.
Now that is confidence. His smile faltered when he noticed her looking at the girls he was watching, not even glancing toward the guy with the two. Well, either she's not interested in men or he's not her type... Shrugging he got up, picking up his drink and leaving a hefty tip of a Franklin on the table and walked out of the cafe.

As he came out to the Lobby, drinking his coffee when he bumped into some. The coffee slashed on his face and onto his white button up.
"Damn," he muttered under his breath as he looked up at the young lady before him, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there, did any of my coffee get on you?" Ivan examined the marble floor of the lobby which was still clean, and then up to the young lady, he had bumped into.

The woman was shorter than him, with a small frame. Her orange-red hair was adorned with a hair clip on the side as her hair framed her face in a flattering way.
"If I did get coffee on you, please allow me to pay for the cleaners or a replacement. I don't mind really," he assured her.

Although she was someone who had never been introduced to the worldly agency that is causality, she would get her first taste of it in the form of hot coffee. Having been so distracted by the constant messages sent to her phone by her friends, she had failed to take note of the gentleman walking in front of her. Walking into what felt like a brick wall, Abigail stumbled back as she fell right onto her butt, with the taste of split coffee in her mouth.

Though she knew that she should had been paying more attention to what was in front of her rather than what her friends were spamming her about on her phone, both the frustration from her sore butt and the shear emberisment from the situation got the better of her as she panicky said, "OH MY GOSH I AM SO SO SORRY ABOU-"

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there, did any of my coffee get on you?"

Abigail was left in silence by the young man standing over her. For a brief moment, the orange-haired woman thought that she was reenacting one of the anime shows she watches, featuring characters who were unnaturally and unrealistically beautiful. Marco would always make fun of her for watching those kinds of shows, but at this very moment, Abigail felt that she needed to pinch herself.

"If I did get coffee on you, please allow me to pay for the cleaners or a replacement. I don't mind really-"

"OH NO ITS ALL GOOD!" Abigail spoke loudly, making an awkward smile as her cheeks flared like cherries. Picking herself up as she dusted her cloths and wiped the small droplets of coffee on her face, Abigail would continue to blush as he then said, looking away from the man as she tried to get herself to act as casual as she possibly could, "I-It was my fault, r-really... being the clutz I am and all. Hahahaha... ha..."

Cute but shy... Ivan told himself as he tried to keep the floor clean from any droplets from his shirt, not minding that they were more than likely ruined. I should stop drinking my coffee without the lid... he gave the young lady a small smile.

"I-It was my fault, r-really... being the clutz I am and all. Hahahaha... ha..."

"I think we were both at fault then," Ivan told her, "As long as you are fine, that's what really matters. The names Ivan. Ivan Hancock. If you find out that one of your items were ruined by the coffee, don't hesitate to ask for my name at the front desk. I'll be happy to repay you in any way." Ivan extended his hand to her as he tried his best to not frown.

"O-oh no! Everything's fine!" Abigail replied as she rechecked her shirt and jeans, before looking back at Ivan as she then said with bright red cheeks, "Its nice to meet you b-by the way, Ivan!" This guy was like a knight in shining armor; noble, gentleman, tall, and handsome. As she spoke to Ivan, she sneaked one arm behind her back to pinch herself, as she used her other hand to nervously rub the back of her neck. As much as she was overwhelmed by talking to the man before her, she was even more overwhelmed about slipping up and saying something stupid by accident. It had been a constant habit of her when confronting handsome men. That is, unless they were men she came to know for a good period of time.

"I'll be happy to repay you in any way."

Abigail would then notice Ivan's hand extend out towards her, causing her eyes to widen with both surprise and nervousness. Oh God oh God oh God oh God
oh God oh God oh God... Abigail thought to herself as she mustered the strength to extend her own arm to shake hands with Ivan. Don't screw this up, Abby! You only see situations like this once in a lifetime, for crying out loud!!...

"M-my name's Abigail!" She said to Ivan, staring into his eyes as she tried to make a normal, less amateurish smile than before, "Abigail Chandler! N-normally if you were one of my friends, I'd ask you to help me with chores, but because this is the first time I... m-met you, you don't have to repay me for anything!"

For God's sake, what the hell was that!? Now he's definitely going to hate you!!!... Abigail wanted to hit herself over the head for saying that, managing to keep a straight face as she found herself memorized by Ivan's eyes.

Adelaide
Adelaid was woken up by the sounds of Hotaru cooing. She got up to go see where he had gone. The owl was in front of Pluto's bedroom door, pecking at the teen's door.
"Hotaru leave me alone! I want to sleep!" Adelaide knocked on the door and Pluto promptly opened it, giving Hotaru enough time to slip in and make himself at home. Pluto stood there, still in his outfit from last night with a cute, blue giant stuffed walrus in his arms. He looked at Adelaide with a tired look.
Pluto had stayed up half the night worrying about whether he had scared Ollie off with the weird thing he said to him last night. His feelings were very mixed. He felt happy yet worried at the same time. It was wonderfully horrible.

"Good morning cutie!" Adelaide chuckled as she pinched hs cheeks. Pluto's only response was to groan but he let her smoosh his face a bit. "Pluto, I need you to braid my hair before I leave for the festival." She poked at his left cheek.
"Don't you know how to braid your own hair?"
"Of course! But I want you to do it.'
"mmmwhatever."

They both entered the family room where James was there, already dressed in his jogging outfit.
"I can't believe you woke me up early but you let the both of you sleep later." He sipped his cup of coffee that he had gotten from the downstairs cafe. "Next time I'll be the one to sleep in." He grumbled. "Sorry, I forgot I woke you up!" She said as she sat down on the floor in front of a kitchen chair. Pluto sat in said chair behind her and started to brush her hair. While that was going on, Adelaide informed everyone once more that there was a festival going on. She was very excited about it and thought it would be a very great way to meet more neighbors.
"I won't go yet. I want to go when it gets a bit darker."
"You mean when it's time for a sunset?"
"N-no."
"Because that would make it more romantic right? Who are you meeting up with?"
"No one! I just think it would feel much cooler out and stuff.."
Adelaide and James just nodded at him.

"Ok. I'm done."Adelaide checked her hair, she was of course very pleased with it. "Wow Pluto, you should make a very good father when you have a little daughter!" She pulled the braid over her shoulder and smiled up at him.
"Yeah, James piped up, "You and Oliver can have a lot of children right?"
"That's it. I'm going back to bed."
He stormed off towards his room. "Oh Pluto darling1 Don't forget about the sunset!"
They both snickered when they heard the door slam.

Now we get to the actual important stuff.
Adelaide walked out of the elevator by herself, James had gone ahead to go for a jog around the park, leaving Adelaide to do whatever she wanted. She decided to go order something from the cafe. Suddenly she was distracted by the lovely lady in front of her. She looked very familiar to her somehow.
"Excuse me, my I ask for your name?"

Malia took her ice coffee from the barista as she thanked them. As she was about to walk out of the Cafe, she heard someone ask for her, "Excuse me, my I ask for your name?" Malia looked at the woman before her. She was dressed in a white floral dress with a white hat hiding away her perfect red-brown hair. Her blue eyes seemed familiar to Malia but it was the way the woman held herself that got Malia to remember who she was.

"Malia. Malia Lane, and you must be Adelaide Beaumont. It's always an honor to meet a gorgeous young lady as yourself, who has quite an eye for fashion," Malia gave the woman a sweet but confident smile as she extended her hand to the woman. It's my lucky day! she yelled in her head like a little fangirl she truly was but held her normal stance as she smiled, I'm actually meeting Adelaide! She's one hell of a looker!

Ivan laughed, finally breaking from his normal professional demeanor and let go of her hand after a while,
"Well, I did say anything, but my dear pets have been at the Dog Hotel for a week now since I moved to Seaside, I will have to postpone on your request." Ivan never expected to laugh, but it's his first time meeting someone so shy, that their mind took control and make a confident request. I got to give it to her, she might be shy but she's snarky when she least expects it.

Ivan began to walk toward the elevator, as he exclaimed over his shoulder,
"I hope to see you around Miss Abigail." With that, he nodded to her and entered the elevator. Alone in the elevator, he began to untuck his button up, preparing to discard it and change into a new one. Maybe I should change into something comfortable and take Luna and Ace around town. The hiking trails would get them back from their lazy spell from the past week.

Malia Lane! That was it. Adelaide remembered seeing many of her paintings and pictures. They were really quiet nice. Adelaide excitedly took Malia's hand in hers and happily shook it. "No, it is an honor to meet someone as talented and beautiful as you!" She beamed, "I know the last time we met was quiet some time ago while I was still working, but ive still got it!" She giggled, tipping her hat to Malia. "Still it is very nice to see you here!" She gently let go of Malia's hand to rest her hand on the strap of her own purse. "So I take it you will be living here too?"

Each of Ivan's words came out so calm and refined than Abigail's, and seem to bear so much gravity. But suddenly, Abigail froze in shock as Ivan actually began to laugh from the comment she just made. Did... did he actually like it?... She thought to herself, her fear replaced with relief as her tense shoulders relaxed, Oh... oh my God...

What only made things even better was when he then added, "Well, I did say anything, but my dear pets have been at the Dog Hotel for a week now since I moved to Seaside, I will have to postpone on your request." Wait... he's still willing to take a request? Abigail couldn't even think of what kind of request he would give to someone like this enigma of a man. But alas, as Ivan waived goodbye to her as he headed to the elevator, Abigail gasped as she waived back, saying, "O-oh! G-good luck Ivan! Good luck with picking up your pets, I-I mean, but I hope to see you again! Y-yup! I'll be definitely looking forward to meeting you again! Like, soon! Really soon! A-and I'll think of a really good request! But just as friends, you know? C-cuz we just met and all and it would be pretty freaking weird if we starting doing stuff that wouldn't fit with the classifications of what friends normally do together SO BYE-"

Though the elevator doors closed in her face, Abigail felt like she was going to faint. Having to lean against a wall to keep herself from falling over, Abigail looked up towards the ceiling and signed, her heart beating like a jackhammer as the image of Ivan became engraved in her mind. "I... cannot believe I just did that..." she said to herself, her hands pressed against the sides of her face as felt like she was going to explode (or die from a heart attack due to her encounter with Ivan), "But I have no regrets... nope.... none at all."

Eventually, after calming herself, Abigail would take a few deep breaths as she then made her way across the lobby to meet her friends outside, who waited impatiently in a pink Cadillac parked in front of the complex. She couldn't wait tell her friends about Ivan; this was a good day.

Malia tried to remember the last time she might have crossed paths with Adelaide. "Right!" she exclaimed remembering the photoshot she did for a friend in the agency, "I can't believe I coudl have forgotten that day! I just moved in this morning, so yeah I'm living here now."

OH. MY. GOD! She even called me beautiful! Come on, Malia, control your emotions! She smiled at Adelaide and took note of her outfit, "You seem like you are heading to the beach. Are you going to the Fair that everyone had been talking about? I'm heading their right now to take some pictures around the Boardwalk. Get a sense of what Seaside has to offer."

As the elevator door opened, the man Kira had seen earlier was inside. Nudging Saren, and, rather hard I must say, in the side, she tilted her head to the guy. Silently agonizing over the sudden jab, Saren smiled at the man. "Ah! You must be my immediate neighbor I've been hearing about." Saren felt a little defeated as she literally had to raise her head to look up at the man. Even if Kira was 2 inches taller than Saren, it practically made no difference to her as well. But the man bled high status. The man wasn't Kira's type, but she knew a handsome man when she saw one. As for Saren, well, attractiveness wasn't normally the first thought to hit her mind when she met someone.

"My name is Saren Hyatt." She reached her hand out to shake his, while Kira hopped into the elevator. Being courteous wasn't her thing. "Well, It's a pleasure to have you as a neighbor. And welcome to Suncrest." Saren finished up her introductions and stepped into the elevator after Kira.

As the doors closed, Kira spoke up, "So so? Pretty handsome huh? And he's probably loaded!" Saren shook her head with a sigh. "Is that all you pay attention to? You should have introduced yourself if you were interested." "Not really. But I will give credit where it is due." Saren tilted her head slightly. "He was pretty tall....like a professional basketball player." Kira giggled. "Right? Just think. You would never have to climb up to reach the top shelf with him by your side!"
_to_love_ru__princess_momo_render_by_lckiwi-da7gcs3.png

The elevator door opened again on the main floor, where Saren and Kira stepped out. The warm air was seeping in through the doors that led outside as people passed in and out. A very pleased look on her face, Kira couldn't wait to step out into the sun and enjoy the festivities. However, as she looked around the cafe, her eyes locked onto a familiar face. And a surprised gasp escaped her lips, warranting a perplexing look from Saren. "What is it?"
"Whahh! I don't believe it! Ian!!!" It only took two seconds for Kira to run gleefully over to the table he was at and drape her arms over him from behind. Saren raised her eyebrows and let out an exasperated sigh. Yes, way too much energy.
She walked over beside her cousin, and noticing the other two girls at the table, nodded to them. "Hello Ellie, Ian." She didn't know the other woman, so she introduced herself, "I'm Saren. I live on the top floor. And...this is Kira. My cousin, who apparently just moved in today." Her voice was pleasant, but you could tell her eyes were a bit strained as she fixed them upon her cousin. But Kira barely even noticed the other two girls as the table.
large.jpg
It was perhaps, a good thing Ian had just finished his latte, because as he was practically pounced on, the cup went flying out of his hand, rolling across the table. Ian grabbed it just in time before it rolled too far. Just what in...Irritation flooded his heart as he turned his head to find the last person he would have wanted to see. His heart sank. "Oh....it's you." Was all that managed to come out. His voice filled with dread. The girl pressed herself closer against him, a sigh escaping Ian's lips as he felt her womanly-ness press against his back. "What do you mean you??! I thought you would be happier to see your old neighbor!" Finally noticing the other girls, Kira narrowed her eyes slightly. "Are these your new friends? Is one of them your girlfriend? How mean! I thought you promised to be mine if we ever met again after I graduated high school."

Ian stood up to un-cling the girl from him. "I made no such promise. In fact, despite my retched memory, I remember telling you to put your hands on someone your own age. But no, they're just friends." His eyes traveled over to the women beside her. Ah...it's Saren. The rich girl who lives on the top floor...that I bumped into while staring at Ellie....
Ian didn't do well around rich or famous people. So he sat back down, nervously fidgeting with his bracelet now.
Saren frowned. "Aha, sorry for the interruption. Have you guys been to the fair yet? We were just headed there."
