Realistic or Modern Suncrest Complex

Ivan Hamnet Hancock

"Ah! You must be my immediate neighbor I've been hearing about."

Ivan froze at the sound of someone just outside the elevator. There stood two young ladies that looked up to him. The blue haired one looked tired but held herself well as she spoke to him. As for the pink haired one looked very childish.

"My name is Saren Hyatt. Well, It's a pleasure to have you as a neighbor. And Welcome to Suncrest."

Ivan let go of his ruined button down shirt and extended his hand to Saren,
"It's a pleasure to meet you, even if I am not as presentable as I normally am. Ivan Hancock. Hope you ladies have a nice day." He turned to his apartment lobby as he left the duo to their own devices. Well, that's one way to make first appearances to your neighbor, with my shirt half off...

Ivan shrugged it off and just entered his apartment. As soon as he did, he received a call,
"Hello? Ah, yes, how are Mr. White... That's great to hear, when will they be over? Alright, I will make myself available to receive them and get the security handled... No, nothing has happened as of yet... Thank you, keep me posted on the happenings in the company while I'm out. Have a nice day, Mr. White." Ivan sighed as he ended the call with his head of security and stripped out of his white and now brown shirt and got another one, this time going for blue. There goes my day to go on a hike but got to get the kids home now.

Just as Ellie and Lexi were finished with their meal, the sudden outburst and watching Ian jump from the sudden contact of another person had Ellie follow suit as she yelped a bit. Both Lexi and Ellie looked at the sudden stranger hugging Ian. Well, that's a bit uncalled for. What is happening!?

"Hello Ellie, Ian. I'm Saren. I live on the top floor. And...this is Kira. My cousin, who apparently just moved in today."

Ellie jumped again as she heard her name being called out suddenly and notice Saren. She took a deep breath and gave Saren a sweet smile,
"Good Morning Saren. You seem tired today..." Lexi nodded to the second stranger that introduced herself and her cousin, "It's a pleasure. I'm Alexis Stone, but call me Lexi."

Lexi glanced at Ellie to make sure she's okay after the sudden fright as Ian talked to the pink haired girl. It was minimal, but she noticed her clenching her jaw a bit more than usual and Ellie was holding on to the fork a bit tight as well. Ellie just watched Ian and Kira argue. When Kira said something about a promise she could feel the fork in her hand bend slightly, but lessen when he told to basically fuck off.

"Aha, sorry for the interruption. Have you guys been to the fair yet? We were just headed there."

Ellie was grateful Saren breaking the conversation. Ellie switched quickly back to her usual self and answered Saren,
"Oh, don't worry about. I did go yesterday, it was fun. I would have loved to join you guys, but Ian and I have plans to help Lexi out. Isn't that right, guys?" Lexi gave her friend a worried look but agreed with her none the less, "Ah, yeah. Don't worry about it, and we do have plans."

Saren wasn't exactly sure, but there seemed to be a bit of tension among them all. Even Ellie seemed somewhat guarded. Kira wasn't making the best first impression, and Saren desperately wished she could roll back time and divert her attention. "Plans? Well I could he-" Kira started, but was cut off as Saren grabbed the back of her hoodie and began dragging her away with a sweet smile. "Well it's been nice. We'll catch up another time hm?" Once they were out of the cafe door, Saren released her cousin's hoodie, her hands on her hips now. "Just what was your intention? You aren't going to make friends that way."
    _to_love_ru__princess_momo_render_by_lckiwi-da7gcs3.png

Kira crossed her arms against her chest, pouting. "Well! I was excited to see him after so long...he's completely changed though! He used to be so outgoing and kind. The perfect prince." Kira shuddered remembering the cold, distant glare he had given her when he had more or less pushed her off him. It definitely hurt a little. She missed the soft smile he used to carry. Just what happened to you?
Kira was knocked out of her thoughts by her head being patted by Saren. "People change Kira. Just be careful okay? Your forwardness might get you in trouble. Come on, let's go to that fair." Kira smiled and nodded, pushing the thoughts of her high school crush to the back of her mind.

As they arrived at the fair, Kira's eyes glowed brightly. "Whahh!! Look, look Saren! The ocean looks really beautiful here." Saren continued to follow Kira around the fair. It wasn't that busy at the moment, as it seemed people were awaiting the evening festivities. There were supposed to be some fireworks set in place for tonight too. Saren wondered if she could see them with Sam. That would be nice. There were a few fair games around, and Kira ended up being surprisingly good at them all. And that ended up in winning a lot of prizes, in which led to Saren carrying a giant cream colored stuffed bunny. Geez....I remember her saying she's really good at video games, but I didn't think it carried off into these type of games too. Somehow she even managed to win at the luck and chance games. This girl really is something else...

"I used to tutor Kira in math when I lived back at my old house. Guess it's a small world huh? That or...I'm just unlucky."

My bad luck... Ellie told herself as she returned to her usual self. Lexi in the other had was having a party in her head, OH MY GOD! It's him! Oh, I'm going to have fun with this. Lexi looked at the small wristwatch and noticed the time, "It's getting close to eleven, should we wait a bit longer for Ollie or should we just head up and start?" Ellie glanced at Lexi as she answered, "I'm fine with waiting, I have nothing else to do today."

"You did go yesterday? Was it any fun? Fairs aren't really my thing...but I thought I might go tonight."

"Yeah," Ellie smiled at the memory, "I went with some of my college friends. We left before the fireworks due to someone having too much to eat. You should go, even if it's just for the food. I suggest the Fireworks, they always make it show out of them."

Lexi smiled and said,
"Oh! I want to go! Mummy Ellie can you take me!"

Ellie laughed and nodded,
"Sure, we can go watch the fireworks. If you want to join us, we can all enjoy the food and fireworks."

~Abigail Chandler~
"Ivan Handcock, huh?" one of Abigail's friends, a black girl wearing a t-shirt and shorts along with a fluffy pony-tail, said as she drove the vehicle, with Abigail sitting next to her, "So like, on a scale of one being Marco's uncle to ten being Zac Efron, how hot is this guy?"

"Like, ten billion!!!" Abigail exclaimed as she flung her arms into the air, bearing an wide and bright smile as she felt like hearts were orbiting around her head,
"You should have seen him, Rose! He was so tall! like, taller than both Marco and Richard! And-and he had a broad, muscular chest and arms and wore a black undershirt along with this red plaid buttoned-up shirt that made him look soooooo sexy! And oh my god don't even get me started with his face! His face! Ooooooh my God, a face like Ivan's could melt the Antarctic!"

"I don't know, Abby. This guy sounds like he could be out of your league." Abigail's second friend, a chubbier girl wearing a striped white and blue t-shirt and a dress that went down to her knees, commented from behind Abigail from the backseat, "I mean, what if this Ivan guy is a playboy?"

"Oh please, Susan!" Abigail chuckled, "He was so charming, so polite, so dignified! If anything, he looked more like a noble prince in shining armor than some loser sworn to a life of debauchery!"

"Well, since you always know how to make the smartest decisions, we trust you." Rose smiled as she stopped at a red light, grateful that her snarky friend once again found love. "So when are you gonna ask him out?" Susan then asked, leaning up to peak around to look at Abigail with a goofy grin. From hearing this, Abigail laughed confidently as she leaned back in her seat, folding her legs and crossing her arms behind her head as she then said with closed eyes and a smirk, "When we were talking in the lobby, he said that I could give him any request I wanted!"

"Make him take off his shirt!" Rose exclaimed as she turned to look at Abigail and Susan, "Like, the next time you see him, tell him to take off his shirt so that you can tell us how buff he is!" Susan would gasp in shock, covering her mouth as Abigail's cheeks light up like flare sticks as she then said, "W-WHA!? Hell no! We just met like thirty minutes ago! No, I'll
probably have him help me with something."

"And if you have nothing for him to help you with?" Susan smirked, joined by Rose as they both mischievously smirked at Abigail.

As Abby's blushing intensified, the light turned green as Rose turned her head back to the road to focus back on driving. Much to Abigail's relief. As she laid back in her seat, with Susan chuckling from behind, she calmed herself as she tried to get her mind to think about other stuff besides Ivan. Like the restaurant they were headed to. Yeah! They were heading to the
Chipotle Mexican Grill down the next three streets to order takeout. Abigail had also remembered that she still had Izzy's notes on what she wanted from the restaurant, too, and pulled it out to look at it again to refresh her memory. Being Abigail's third friend, she was waiting by at Rose's house for the rest of the gang to come back; Izzy barely left her own home due to her phobia of men, so Abigail was very happy that the timid young woman had decided to leave her shell for today.

Adelaide

Adelaide had remembered the day that Malia was at one of her photo shoots. She instantly fell in love with her photos and paintings after seeing them for herself. She even kept some of said pictures taken by her.
Upon hearing that the artist would be living here, Adelaide couldn't stop the smile that appeared on her face. "Well isn't it a small world! I moved here about three days ago." She chuckled shyly as she fidgeted with the end of her braid, "Although we still don't have a TV... Or a couch. Well we don't have most of our living room essentials." Quickly she reminded herself to get on that stuff later. She stepped up in line and ordered a peach iced tea and paid for it.
"I was heading to the fair! I was trying to get Pluto to go with me but he said not yet, so I was sent alone." She sighed sadly. Then she perked back up, "Since we are both new here, how about we go together? I would love to see the great Malia in action!" Adelaide received her drink and stepped out of line. Before Malia and her continued their conversation else where; she noticed that Ian was silently watching her. She winked and waved at him before turning back to Malia.

Malia smiled, gleefully and answered,
"If you don't mind me focussing in some of my shots. I tend to go into my own little world when I'm taking pictures." Malia turned to the door and held it open for Adelaide to go through, "The Fair awaits us." Even as they made their way to the fair, Malia couldn't help take pictures of things that caught her attention. Everything is just so beautiful...

Once they were at the fair, they were hit by a sea of people, but the small instances of the clearing, Malia could make out the glistening waters of Seaside Beach.
"Wow!" was all she could say as she waited for the next break in the crowd to take a snapshot of the beach as the crowd from the fair framed it. "Seaside is just so beautiful..." Malia said in awe and then turned to Adelaide to ask, "So, do you have anything you want to see before I just aimlessly start walking."

Dressing into more formal cloths given to him by Abigail, consisting of a blue shirt, a white undershirt and a pair of smooth jeans, Marco crept his way out of his room. Though he wanted to get to know the place, he was worried that people would find him unwelcoming or even intimidating, specifically due to the scar on his lips. Fully Exiting from his room, Marco made his way down the hallway to reach the stair, keeping his hands in his pockets to try and act casual. God, not only do I look like a thug, but I'm also in a building full of rich people! Lets just hope I make a good first-impression on the folks here... Yay...

Making his way to the cafe, Marco decided to take a seat at one of the empty tables and watch everything that was going on. However, his attention would be turned to a pair of people behind him who were talking about some kind of fair down at the beach. Now there were two things that Marco liked, besides the millions of other things he liked as well; beaches and fairs. Or rather, fairs have fast spinning rides!

"A fair, huh?" Marco grinned, raising an eyebrow in interest as his day was just about to get a whole lot better...

Katagiri Takiji Katagiri Takiji.jpg "Well... we've finally made it to our new home Kalam... what do you think?" Kalam, Katagiri's pet fox, yipped in response. "You think so?" Katagiri looked at the building and gave a faint chuckle, "I agree... they're just pooling with entertainment." Of course anyone would think this back and forth was odd, and perhaps a little creepy, but for Katagiri and Kalam, this was a common occurance. "Well, we're wasting time Kalam. Let's check out the new place." As Katagiri stepped into the complex, he held the door open for a moment as Kalam padded alongside him, swiftly sitting down in front of the front desk, waiting for Katagiri. "Hello... Katagiri Takiji, I'm just moving in with Kalam here. Do you mind me asking which apartment is mine?"
Anyone Anyone

Laura Nightlock
Laura was in the process of finalizing the previous vacancy apartment after one of them had cleared up the day before. At the sound of someone calling her attention, she looked up to find a young man with silver.platinum hair. "Mr. Takaji, yes," she answered remembering the name from yesterday, "We had just cleared and cleaned the apartment for your arrival. Due to operating the front desk and the owners allergic to most animals, no one is available to guide you, ah-"

Laura noticed Ellie among a group of other two residents and called out to her, "Ellie dear can you come over?"

Hearing Laura calling out to her, Ellie turned to the front desk and excused herself, "I'll be right back, oh and if you aren't here when I get back, I'll meet you two at your Apartment, Lexi." With that, she got up and headed to the lobby. "Did you need me Laura?" she asked as she nodded to the young man beside her.

"Can you be a dear and show Mr. Takiji to his apartment. He'll be taking number three on floor five."

At the sound of the apartment, Ellie frowned,
"Do you mean Eli and Val moved?"

"I'm afraid so, dear."

Ellie nodded but returned her smile to her face as she escorted the young man to the apartment.
"I'm Eleanor May by the way. Everyone around the complex knows me as Ellie," she extended her hand to him and then they entered the elevator.

Katagiri Takiji Katagiri Takiji.jpg Katagiri smiled and shook Ellie's hand before following her into the elevator with Kalam in tow. "It's a pleasure to meet you miss May. I am Katagiri Takiji, you can call me Kataji for short." Kalam bumped his head against Katagiri's leg, "Ah yes, I wouldn't forget to introduce you Kalam." He smiled and gestured to the marble fox sitting with them in the elevator, "This is Kalam. He's my dear friend I brought with me from home. Feel free to pet him if you'd like, he's a diva for attention." Katagiri chuckled as Kalam huffed at his comment.

This girl seemed friendly enough, and Katagiri knew he was going to need to get on the good side of the residents before he started snooping places they didn't want him. Before long he'd have his office set up and he'd quickly return to his job, distributing information to those who sought the knowledge... for a price of course. First things first though, he had to move in and introduce himself as a kind and seemingly harmless individual. Perhaps if he payed close enough attention, he could even fetch himself some brownie points for being conveniently on time to 'save the day' in a way.

Ellie faced Kataji's four legged friend and pet it's head, "It's nice to meet you Kalam." As they arrived to the fifth floor, Ellie straightened up and walked to the left of the elevator. Using the key that Laura gave her, she opened up the apartment door to the now empty and clean apartent.

"Here we are," she announced, "This apartment has an open space for an office, one bedroom, along with a bathroom." She stood by the door as she pointed out the apartment to him, "If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask Laura or me. I have to head back to my friends. Oh, and these are yours and Welcome to Suncrest." Ellie handed him the keys to his apartment and backed away from the entry way.

This is our home now... I sure do hope something interesting happens fairly soon."

Finally, a new place to call home and a new place to gain knowledge about. The thrill was rising and he hadn't even moved all his things in. Who knew what kinds of juicy details he'd learn of these people? All the possibilities... just the thought of it sent chills down his spine. "Now then... I wonder when my things will arrive..."

Ian was fine waiting for the guy, and as Ellie mentioned fireworks, Ian cast his eyes off into the distance. The last time he had watched fireworks at a large event in the city he used to live in. It was the day he had found Saber abandoned on the side of the road in a box. He was frightened from the sudden noises and the bursts of light. Lexi's voice broke him out of his thoughts. Mummy? Really...her accent is cute. He smiled softly. Though he hadn't been expecting to be invited along as well. Was this going to be natural from here on out? The three them? Perhaps it wouldn't be so terrible...is what Ian thought. But how long could he manage being so close to Ellie without saying or doing anything?

"I've got nothing better to do." He replied. A few moments passed and Ellie got called over to assist a newcomer, and he watched her leave before turning to Lexi. "You seem quite enthusiastic. Do you like fireworks that much?" His eyebrow raised curiously. He pondered what Ellie said, and after a ew more minutes, tapped his fingertips on the table impatiently. He wasn't patient. Especially given the fact Ellie wasn't here to hold his attention. "Do you think we could go up a little early?" He hesitated for a moment before mentioning softly, "I'm excited to see Samson..." Right. Couldn't have his crush watching him gush over a cat. No way. That would most definitely be suicide. He still wasn't sure why he felt so comfortable around Lexi, maybe because she liked Ellie as well? Who knows. "If Ollie comes around, I'm sure Ellie will spot him and drag him along." A part of him worried if Ollie would make a move on Ellie, or perhaps if he was in fact her mystery crush. "You don't think her mystery crush is Ollie do you?" He said this even quieter. His eyes gazed across for a split second as he noticed a woman wink at him. Ah! It's the pie woman! He said nothing, but his heart jumped as he looked around her. No sign of any guy....I guess I'm safe for now...gah...she remembers me.

"You seem quite enthusiastic. Do you like fireworks that much?"

"Not really, but I was just trying to lift Ellie's mood," Lexi answered as she put her chin on her hand. I guess Ollie isn't coming... she sighed.

"Do you think we could go up a little early? I'm excited to see Samson... If Ollie comes around, I'm sure Ellie will spot him and drag him along."

Lexi looked at her watch and nodded,
"If we are going to go see the fireworks later, we are going to need to leave around six... I don't see the harm in heading up early. Ollie didn't actually say he was going to come, so..."

"You don't think her mystery crush is Ollie do you?"

That made Lexi grin,
"Trust me it's not him. It would ruin the fun if I tell you to know." Lexi noticed the young ladies, one in white who winked at Ian, and the other with wine colored hair. Well, she looks like she's dripping gold everywhere she went, too much money to even notice that she's cute... Looking back at Ian she got up and announced, "Alright, let's have you meet Samson."

A thunderous belch escaped Marco's mouth as he laid back on his chair, his hands on his gut as he just finished inhaling three foot-long subs. He had to give this place props; the food here was not only decisions, but cheap as all hell! Greatly satisfied by his morning snack, Marco stretched his arms out before getting up to announce to himself, "This handsome young man is in need of something to do!"

Leaving his table, Marco walked to the direction of where the elevator was with his hands in his pockets and a silly smirk on his face. Though he wanted to go to the beach to enjoy the fair, he had a feeling in his gut that it would require lots of walking, due to him now yet owning his own car. He wished that this complex had it's own pool or arcade room, but all Marco felt like doing was to return to his room and make his plan of action on what to do during his first day here.

As soon as his stomach let out a huge growl, the side as he was already ten minutes into messing around online. It would be best to get some food. I should also get groceries for all nighters... but that means I have to go outside... Sighing in defeat he got up and wave good by to Titan as the small bird puffed up his feathers, not happy that he was being left behind inside his cage. "I'll be back, you know that," Xander told him with a smile.

Taking the stairs down to the lobby, he fished out his car keys and tossed them in the air as he looked around and catching it with ease. He nodded to Laura, who he meet Friday, in greeting and then felt his shoulder collide with another. Turning around he noticed a guy, older than him, and apologized,
"Sorry about that, man." With that, he just turned back toward the front doors ready to continue with his day.

Though when he looked at the guy he was apologizing to, he couldn't help but blink by how handsome the fellow was. Nerdy glasses, combed-back hair along side a light blue hat, Marco rubbed the back og his head as he watched the younger man walk off to continue his day.

Even if Oliver wasn't committed to come, Ian was still hoping for a surprise entrance. If he had to be completely honest, he wasn't into this whole thing of helping Lexi out with her designs. It wasn't that he minded helping her, but the actual fitting for the designs is what was bothersome. I better not have to change more than once. He sighed. His original plan was to push all the fittings onto Ollie and keep Samson all to himself, er, for the time being anyways.

Lexi agreed to head up first, and for once he was looking forward to something. Though, as he had questioned her about Ellie's crush, Lexi had replied with a knowing tone. And suddenly his eyes widened. He waited until they were in the elevator before turning towards her, closing the gap between them to force her to move back against the elevator wall. "You know?? And now you're just torturing me? Hmm...." His eyes penetrated hers, searching for any clues that might give her away. But it was futile. Getting her to spill would be more difficult. "....Ive never been on the receiving end of torture...how interesting." He turned away from Lexi and pressed against the wall, waiting for the doors to open on whichever floor Lexi was headed. He wondered what it might take to get her to falter on her words, an opening. Or, if he couldn't get Lexi to budge, perhaps he would have to find out directly from the source of it all. Ellie herself. But to do that would require getting closer. And he wasn't sure he was ready for that.

Ian and Lexi entered the first elevator that opened up. Once the doors closed, Ian turned quickly to her and pinned her to the back wall. She was shocked at first but when he asked about her knowing Ellie's crush, she gave him a wicked smile, "I do. Figured it out a few moments ago."

"....I've never been on the receiving end of torture...how interesting."

"Well, I have never been one to torture, it's quite amusing," she laughed and the doors opened to reveal Ellie waiting, "Ellie, are you done?"

She nodded and answered, "Yup, well you have a new floor neighbor, Lexi."

"A third one..." Lexi asked a bit confused, "Strange... I hope you are into an upset with the who ordeal of Val..."

Ellie gave her a smile and shook her head, "I'm fine, just shocked is all. Vall was good friends but he liked to keep to himself first. So, no Ollie?"

"Nope," Lexi said as she opened her apartment, "And if we are to go to the Fair, we will need to start now, to get through a majority of the clothes."

A small call from Samson warmed her heart as the small munchkin kitty came padding over to the three of them. Lexi picked up the small kitten and turned to Ian, "Ian, this is Samson. Say hello Sammy." With that Samson meowed peacefully as he watched Ian. "How about I start with Ellie, and see how much we get through."

The Apartment was clean and the Workshop Lexi set up for the day was ready to be used. The living room area looked away from the Office workshop, as the dining room sat on the other entrance to the open work room. Lexi guided Ellie to a rack of clothing that she had been working on and handed her a white floral print bell sleeved tunic blouse, "You can change in the bathroom. As for you Ian, make yourself at home."

He didn't like not knowing, and the fact that she had figured it out before him put a sour taste in his mouth. Figured it out?? So Ellie didn't tell her...It was more of a surprise to see Ellie waiting there once they had arrived at the apartment. When Lexi mentioned majority of clothes, Ian flinched. Majority.... It was as he had dreaded. All sorts of things were traveling through Ian's mind, that were all whisked away at the sight of a fur ball. But not just any fur ball. A fur ball with tiny legs. Ian's heart became clutched with adoration.

"S-Sammy...hello." His voice was soft, and slightly uncertain. But as Lexi tended to Ellie's temporary wardrobe, Ian was left to his own devices which consisted of caressing Samson and tending to his every desire. Ian had a natural affinity to felines. A playful laugh escaped his lips each time the cat meowed. And for once, flowers and sparkles were practically encasing Ian. "His fur is very soft, you must be doing an exemplary job of taking care of him." Ian commented to Lexi with a voice containing absolute pure bliss as he gazed at her for a brief moment with kind eyes before resuming his play session with Samson. He was in heaven. Momentarily forgetting about everything and anyone else.

Ollie
The night was horrible for Ollie. After Pluto finished talking, the voices started talking in whispers, he starting seeing figures and shadows dancing toward him, and the feeling of someone watching and plotting against him returned. Sure, it happened frequently when he was off of his medication, but that didn't mean he was used to it. The horror movie didn't help in the slightest. All the music and loud noises and everything just made him lose it. So, Ollie fled.
"Now he's gonna be afraid of you~"
He reached the elevator.
"Everyone's gonna find out your secret~"
He mashed the button, panicking.
"No one will ever love you~"
Sweating bullets, he looked around with wide eyes.
"There's no escape from us~"
The stairs.
"Try to run."
He sprinted for them.
"Try to hide."
He threw open the door and dashed up the flights.
"You can't."
Another flight.
"Never."
He practically broke down the door to his floor.
"Never."
Ollie finally reached his room. After closing the door and running into the kitchen, he snatched a knife out of a drawer as the whispers quickly escalated into shouts and roars. "DO IT! NOW! DO IT!"
There was one small whisper, though. One last refuge from the noise. It spoke softly, and as it did so the rest of the voices descended into drowned-out background noise.
"Sleep. Go to sleep. Escape."
And he passed out on the cold kitchen floor, the knife falling from his fingers.

In the morning, Ollie woke peacefully without any sounds, visions, or anything from his illness. With a start, he remembered that Lexi and Ian had planned something with him. Changing his clothes with speed and putting on deodorant, he ran as fast as he could to the front desk. Nobody he knew was around, so, glancing around to see if the coast was clear, he took a look at the desk to see if there was any sort of diagram or map of the building with a label of residents. Seeing Lexi's name, Ollie repeated the room number in his head and dashed back upstairs to her floor. He sort of barged in, glad the door was unlocked. "H-Hi guys..."

"His fur is very soft, you must be doing an exemplary job of taking care of him."

"Why thank you," Lexi called out as she began to get her space ready for Ellie, "I take pride in how Samson looks. I always brush his fur every night until he finally sleeps."

Ellie came out of the bathroom as she tried not to pull on the fabric too much. She had done it before and had some of the seams give out. Lexi was not happy about that. "Alright, I'm-" the moment she started to announce that she was ready the to Lexi's Apartment flew in to reveal a young man out of breath. "Oliver I presume?" Ellie composed herself as she took her spot next to Ian in the living room, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm Ellie."

"Ollie! You've made it!" Lexi cheered, "Welcome! Make yourself at home. Are you still willing to help with fitting or do I have to ask Ian to do so?" Lexi stepped out of her office and walked up to the young man.

Ian was in his own world. An elephant could have crashed through the apartment room and he would endlessly continue to pet Samson. Only, he did notice Ellie's presence beside him, and he blinked a little absently at her, before noticing she was speaking to someone else across the room. Following her gaze his eyes settled upon a familiar face. Ollie. Ah, wonderful. I might just be able to skate by without having to do a thing...

As Lexi prompted him about the fittings, Ian lifted Samson into his arms, staring at Ollie intently, hoping he would get the drift. Maybe he could even try out another smooth line of his and ask Lexi to help him zip up or something. Pfft. Yeah. The thought was too hilarious. To gurantee his spot in the audience, he piped up, "Don't worry about me Oliver. You're definitely more the model type. IYou are more worthy of wearing Lexi's devine clothing." He winked. Samson began to purr and Ian was beaming with joy. "He's cute isn't he?" He whispered to Ellie, All of a sudden he didn't care if she saw this side of him. "We've bonded so much within the past few minutes." Crush or not, he wasn't giving up any Samson time for anyone it seemed, not even for Ellie. So he kept Samson on his lap, every so often flickering his eyes over at Ellie, and then bouncing them to Oliver as not to seem suspicious.

Katagiri Takiji Akise.Aru.full.890176.jpg Kataji walked out into the hall, Kalam following closely behind. "Well that's a shame... seems like you're going to get special treatment tonight Kalam. The moving company with our things seems to have decided not to deliver today..." Kataji sighed. It was slightly upsetting that he wouldn't be able to work today, let alone start his own personal information hunt, but it did give him an excuse to maybe run into someone and see where things went. Kalam gave a small yip and nudged Kataji forward. "Now, now Kalam. There's no need to whine about it. You'll get your things tomorrow."

Where to start was the problem. So many places to choose from, yet only one chance to make the best choice. "Ahh, of course... introductions." Since he was going to undoubtedly run into everyone living on his floor eventually, he decided there was no better place to start than to get a look at all the pawns. It would make his job easier anyway... if you're able to put a face to a name, you'd already have 30% of their lives known thanks to social media and casual interaction. "Come along Kalam... let's meet our neighbors." Walking down the hall, he choose the first door that Kalam stopped at and knocked, prepared to introduce himself to whoever may be waiting on the other side. *knock knock*

Adelaide
It was interesting getting to watch Malia get into her work. Adelaide admired people who loved doing their work and looked natural while doing so. She wasn't going to outwardly admit it but...Adelaide was a huge fan! She was one of those people who has a ton of landscape paintings and pictures around the house. One of her favorites being a photo of her families restaurant. Speaking of pictures, she would have to get more out along with the rest of the furniture.
From what she could see through the crowd, the boardwalk looked nice. she could see all the stands that people were flocked to. She looked to where Malia had taken a picture.
"It really is beautiful out here. I've gotta come out here more!" She walked over to the edge of the boardwalk to look over at the bright blue ocean. Adelaide turned around and leaned against the rail. "There isn't much I want to see yet that I can't see later." She turned to Malia with a shy smile on her face, "Before I leave you to your work, you wouldn't mind if I watch for a bit?"
