Tavi was just about to go set up her new tent at the fair. It tore a hole in her soul to be dragged away from her duties as a librarian, but this was a special occasion. She had been asked to offer her services during the boardwalk fair, and, advising the hearts and souls of others? How could she refuse. That's right. Tavi, yours truly, was going to go all out tonight at her fortune telling tent! She had been in her room changing into a fitting black dress with a navy blue cloak; her hat per usual. The elevator was about to open up at the main floor, and as she stepped out, she noticed a man just bump into another, and she felt her heart sting. This feeling! I can feel it! This is no coincidence!! She had a dream the night before that a young man would accompany her during the fair's festivities. He was to play an important role. She wasn't quite sure yet, but one thing she knew, was to always trust her intuition. She waited for the men to part from each other, before approaching one of them. "You there! Marco is it?? Darling, you've no plans tonight yes? Of course you don't. You've been sent by the heavens to aid me in tonight's ritual! Come come, we musn't be late!" She looped her arms in his arm and pulled forward, with a firm hold if I may add. Her voice was warm and inviting, but her choice of words may have been seen as slightly unusual.
"I am to be of a loss without you. I highly appreciate your destined kindness towards me."

The man couldn't refuse once in Tavi's grasp. She wasn't sure why, but when he called her handsome there was a spark of excitement in her heart, and she sort of wondered if he knew. "That's the sort of moxy I'm looking for. A man with such spirit has to go through multiple trials before he's rewarded. But when he is, everything will fall into his favor." She continued to string him along, until they reached the area at the fair with a simple tent. But a simple tent was to be a simple tent no longer! As she un-linked herself from Marco, she took the large purse that was wrapped around her shoulder. Though, the purse could have passed for a douffle bag. Unzipping the top she handed Marco a white button up and a black vest. The outfit was old fashioned, perhaps a bit medieval. Exactly in his size. Tavi was actually intrigued how the man didn't question how she knew his name; and he played along well to her whims. "Today you are not Marco, but Marco the Great! And I am Octavia the Mystic! Let the wind breathe strength into our bones and the sun shine light into our hearts on this joyful day!" She twirled around Marco, feeling him up as she did. No regrets.
Slipping into more of her professional librarian voice, she spoke, "Change into those inside the tent while I add the decoration to the outside. If you haven't figured it out by now, I am the fortune teller of this fair, and for your hard work I'll let you in on a secret about your love life~" She winked. She was still sort of leaving him in the dark, and perhaps literally, as the tent was dim inside.

The day was still somewhat young, and Tavi could feel the opportunities hanging in the air. It sent shivers through her. As Marco was finishing up, Tavi hung up the decorations- small blue orbs of light along the tens edges and two torches at the front of the tent much like a gate way. Lighting an incense, a warm cedarwood and vanilla scent filled the air.- All of which she pulled out of her purse. Her very giant purse. And, of course she had to have a bowl of chocolates as well. The bowl was a ceramic dragon. Peeking into the tent with a lantern, she set it upon the table to light the area more. Much to her dismay, Marco was already dressed. Ah well.
"Splendid! Eh....you are missing something...." She narrowed her eyes and looked him over before going to hunt in her purse, pulling out a top hat. But as she raised it up over Marcos to put it to the test, she frowned. "No, no, no. This won't do. Classic folk wear doesn't suit you. Let's try something else...." She went searching into her bag, and pulled out a blue outfit and handed it to him. "Now this one." It is a good thing I brought this one just in case. The dream gave me a feeling he would be older. So I packed as so. But because you can never be too prepared, I made something a little special.
"We won't be camping in this tent darling. But I do have ingredients for smores you can try over the fire of the torches." She reached into her bag and pulled out a shopping bag filled with chocolate, marshmallows, and gram crackers. "I was skeptical when the woman at the store insisted so many times I buy these. On sale items for the summer she said. I guess fate works in weird ways. When you're done we can get started with that reading." She smiled as she took a seat in one of the four velvet chairs that were around the centered table, pulling out her spiritual stones, tending to her thigns inside the tent as if Marco wasn't there about to change again. She took a bar of chocolate from the bag and tore the corner wrapper, taking a small bite.

Seeing as Marco was becoming a little anxious over the situation, Tavi shook her head, taking a cloth from under the table and dabbing his face with it to clear the sweat. "Nonsense! You are Marco the magnificently marvelous! Where is your pride?" The woman squeezed his arms. "Don't forget you aren't a weed, but a tiger lily!Success comes from the heart!" She pulled him out of the chair and stood him up. "Outfit matters not! It's the way you portray yourself that gets the fire rumbling. But if you're still still nervous...." She went rummaging through her purse again to find the essential oil of lavender. Dotting her fingertips she tapped Marco's forehead and neck.
"Lavender calms the mind. BUT, if you are still in need of something stronger to set your mind at a hault from worrying you let mother Octavia know. I got your back." She raised her arms up, and the flames from the torches sparked a bit (though that was purely a coincidence, no magic powers here). "Nature never tells you all the details! We'll have to wait until he arrives. But you'll know darling. Now, use that charm of yours and entice people over so I can raise their hopes or destroy their dreams, whichever fate gives me info on first."
