Fandom RWBY Prequel: Pillars of Chaos (reboot)

Midnight had no idea where to go at first, but then remembered the front of the school. She continued her running until she finally hit the front of the school, it was a magnificent sight she had to admit.

" ...I hope no one else finds me here... " she said to herself worrying a bit about others. She wished she wasn't so socially awkward all the time, but... Somethings she just couldn't hold back from.

Cruor watched the group walk away from afar. Shaking his head, he walked back over to where he left Ebony. "Sorry about that, thought I recognised her from somewhere." He lied. He didn't know if she could tell or not, but it would be worth a try. "So, where do we go now? I haven't really got the hang of this schedule yet..."

@Syrina

Ambrose wasn't really sure which class Obsidian had but figured fifty-fifty odds weren't that bad so he headed off towards the other classrooms once he made it out into the hall with Eminence in tow.

"Where is Obsidian supposed to be right now?" the faunus girl asked as he looped an arm around one of his own.

"Oh.. uh-well, i'm not sure but we uh-we'll find her i'm sure," Ambrose replied with his face flushing over their close proximity, they had become fast friends since he had first joined up on ALOE but now he was wondering if she had become infatuated with him.

"Oh Dust." The girl murmured under her breathe, Dust Mechanics? he figured she would know better anyway so it looked like that was the best place to check.

"Have you unpacked your stuff yet, Rosey?" Eminence asked with a grin, Ambrose assumed she was making a remark about his blush and broke into a cold sweat. Was she trying to get him back to the dorm room? Why would they put teenagers in co-ed dorms anyway!? How should he play this? Ambrose's mind began to race with assumptions and speculation.

"I-I uh-what? No-not yet," He stammered, at a loss for words for once. He turned his head away from the girl linked to his side and cleared his throat before taking a deep swallow of air to calm his nerves.

"Let's check Dust Mechanic first, aight?" Ambrose said keeping a steady lope down the hall. "Anyways, what do you think we should do about Midnight?" he asked wondering what he was going to do about the faunus girl.

@Aryel @Syrina( Hey, not to rush you or anything but i'm gonna wait on an Obsidian post before I do another Azurra one otay? )

Lapis made his way out, making sure that he had grabbed his things. "Predators are primarily seen in forests, next to major cities. They mainly stay by themselves, solitary due to their weird interaction with Grimm. That being that they slink off, scared of other Grimm. When they do get together, it would be with other Predators so that they can hunt a larger prey. As they age, they learn to sharpen their scythe like arms. Their plating also gets thicker."

It was after he finished his long speech did he realise that he had forgotten where Pascal had gone. "Oh... Shi... I think I left my team leader back in the class. Hope he knows the way back..."

@GasMaskie, @Mollisol

Eminence Faustine YowlumneWell isn't he cute.

"I-I uh-what? No-not yet." Ambrose stammered, causing Eminence to look at him in wonder. Although she did so, Ambrose turned to face away from her, himself. 'Is he blushing? How cute.' She thought to herself, noticing that his ears had turned a tomato red. He broke her train of thought by clearing his throat before turning back to face his front. "Let's check Dust Mechanics first, aight?" He told her as their walk continued. "Sure thing." She replied back, giving a little nod in addition.

"Anyways, what do you think we should do about Midnight?" He asked her a moment later. "Mid? She seems rather anti-social, no?" She murmured, squeezing his arm unconciously. "She's like me, although I'm only like that towards strangers and acquaintances." Eminence added. It was true, she had learned the hard way to not trust anyone so willingly when she was younger. She learned not to be so open as she used to. "But don't worry. I'm fine with us." She said with a smile. "The team will hopefully be a tight-knit one, with time and communication."

A moment of thought later, she realized she just rambled on about herself rather than answer Ambrose's question.
"Anyway, I'd say we could tie her up and keep her in the room, but that would do more damage than good." She told him with a giggle as they pressed on.

"How interesting," Nila said, and seemed to mean it. "They'll be a pleasure to search and destroy!" She paused at his words. "Well, the rest of Team HAND expects me to find my way back on my own... do you think we should look for him?"

She wondered if Team PERL was as tightly-knit as Team HAND. Perhaps the secret to their success had something to do with their friendship - mostly, with Afra, she figured. Some things just took a girl who could look at your sawed-off shotgun and infer... no, she told herself, putting a hand on her weapon to ground herself.

"Sorry," she said, her hand exposing the old-fashioned weapon from the folds of her dress. "Did you say something?"

@Deltorian Nephran

Obsidian had fallen into a group of other people in her class as they walked. She gave one student in particular, who was introducing themselves, a big up turned smile with her lips pressed together, "Obsidian." She answered in a mid to high pitched tone.

She noticed Azurra also had an in fire dust as she did, and they seemed pretty cool, there was one though that had set apart that gave Obsidian a bit of an eerie vibe; Orche. Her attention was pulled away from the topic to the cracking sound Azurra made with the fure dust, it intrigued her and the smile on her face grew exposing her teeth. She was starting to get jittery with the excitement.

Pulling out on of her fire crystals she cupped both hands, adrenaline pumping through her. She took a short moment to focus, where nothing seemed to be happening. But then everything all happened at once, the crystal shatter inside the cage of Obisidian's fingers; before the small shards fused with her skin, making veins of an orange red color through out her hands and fading up the courses of her arms. It seemed interesting, but it didn't have long lasting effects, and depending on the type used even take a tole on ones body.

@Dendyne @Dream Killer

Ochre glared at all the other students, and their usage of dust. He looked down at his blank hands, and chuckled a bit. There was no way Ochre was going to be using dust anytime soon. He turned around and began walking back to the school, laughing a little as he did so. He felt a glare at the back of his head, and turned to see the source. A girl had just turned her head back to whatever she was doing before, but Ochre found it obvious that she had been looking at him. He chuckled a bit, and turned his attention back to the school. He turned a corner, and found a sidewalk, which he began walking along slowly, humming quietly as he did so. His mind slowly went through all the reasons that cute girl could have been watching him, particularly paying attention to the possibility that he had a secret admirer. Of course this wasn't probable, but hey, a guy can dream. This train of thought also continued onto Cinder, and the possibility that she could like him too. This seemed less probable, but it reminded him that she probably noticed he was missing by now...

Shit.

@Syrina

@Mollisol

"Mmm, was their classroom over here? Oh drat, I should have asked Lapis to accompany me. I can't make heads or tails of this map." Pascal frowned slightly as he continued to wander through the halls of the academy's illustrious educational facility. With the end of his class, the young man had intended to meet up with the other half of his team. Though, that plan was shattered when Lapis had disappeared from his seat - perhaps he wanted to continue that discussion with that girl from the airship?

He occasionally glanced down at his Scroll and the map that had been loaded onto the device but the young man was simply unaccustomed to moving around such a large building. The halls were mostly empty now, though he simply couldn't shake off the feeling of a cold and dreadful existence that followed him like a shadow.
"I am always with you."

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/Leo_Somber.png.68fadab1b57b8141a024b5b3c524ba71.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="128011" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/Leo_Somber.png.68fadab1b57b8141a024b5b3c524ba71.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

"If only Scrolls were as simple as pocket watches... I should really try to locate one when I have the time, now that I think about it." The student continued his roaming through the walls. He found himself wondering how he had managed to get through that underground labyrinth with his team as the realization that he had been walking in a circle for the past few minutes dawned upon him. At the very least, this momentary distraction had taken his mind off other matters. "Oblivion, that is, the state of your cherished moments."

Pascal squinted as he entered a door and stepped out into a courtyard where other students were already leaving. Perhaps it was another class just ending? He surveyed the area though he found himself slightly distressed by the fact that was unable to recognize any of the others here. Could this be a class for upperclassmen? He lowered his hat ever so slightly as he leaned up against a nearby wall in the outdoor area. He brought his Scroll up in one hand as he gripped his cane with the other.

This device is far more complicated than I had anticipated from orientation and the screen is far too dim... He frowned slightly as he continued on with fiddling with the Scroll as if he knew what he was doing. Silently, he hoped that another one of his teammates would find him out here.

(@Team PERL, anyone still in the courtyard)

Azurra watched her new found companion's method of Dust usage with stark fascination, warm hues of orange and reds crackled up the girl's arms like rivulets on a map that pulsated gently before fading into the pale tone of Obsidian's skin. A hypnotic display to say the least.

"What a delightful technique, Obsidian! You simply must show me how to do that!" she said enthusiastically with a beaming smile, unfortunately their eccentric professor had realized it was time to dismiss class and before she knew it they were all filing back into the hallway.

Once she stepped out into the crowded corridor leaning back towards the cafeteria she made a point to slip through the crowd and find that little blonde from before, now that she had cooled off adequately, Azurra wanted to have a chat with the girl and really learn who she was. What she had already seen she despised but somehow couldn't help but respecting, maybe the girl reminded Azurra of a younger version of herself. A naive, foolish girl that truly believes that death is worst thing a person can endure, she thought about what bliss it was to live in such ignorance.

~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~
Meanwhile Ambrose and Eminence rounded a corner into the corridor that he was sure 'Dust Mechanics' resided in.
"Mid? She seems rather anti-social, no?" the short girl at his side remarked after a short time, clutching his arm just a little closer. "She's like me, although I'm only like that towards strangers and acquaintances."
"You think?" He asked with an obvious grin,
"But don't worry. I'm fine with us." Eminence said with a contagious smile that Ambrose couldn't help but match. He scratched his head gently in contemplation, presenting a cool surface just above a sea of nervous doubts at what she was getting at.
"I dig that, we-we go good together." he replied rigidly.
"Anyway, I'd say we could tie her up and keep her in the room, but that would do more damage than good."
Ambrose rolled his eyes with a chuckle at that answer, "Yeah, well. I plan to survive my first year here." he replied jokingly as they stepped up to the threshold of the classroom.
Peering inside he noted that Obsidian was still there, chatting to that blue haired chick he saw before class. Something about her gave him the heebie-jeebies but he tried not to let it show even though he had developed a sudden case of the goosebumps, he waved into the room to let her know they ha arrived.
"At any rate, we all get along to some degree at least." Ambrose said turning his attention back to Eminence, thinking back on the cat fight that almost broke out in the cafeteria earlier.
@Aryel @Syrina @Kiyoko Tomoe
Eminence Faustine YowlumneFinally! We found her! Now, where is the other member...?
"Mhmm, real good together." She repeated, nodding at his general direction. Eminence was glad she got into ALOE. The members were somewhat easy to get along with apart from the occasional Midnight being so elusive. She knew she and the other two could break her out of that shell of hers; it just needed time and continuous effort on a daily basis. "Yeah, well. I plan to survive my first year here." He replied in a joking manner to her previous statement as they made their way to their destination. "Oh you will." She told him, watching as Ambrose peeked into the class. "Although will you survive me, Rosey?" She asked with a devious smirk, moving a bit closer to the door to find Obsidian with a woman Eminence has yet to meet.
She gave her a wave and a grin, tugging Ambrose a little ways as their arms were still linked with one another.
"At any rate, we all get along to some degree at least." He spoke up, turning back to look at Eminence. She nodded in agreement. "Mhmm. Although with the other teams, apart from HAND, I've yet to form a certain level of friendliness." She stated, pointing out the not-so-obvious fact that she wasn't as friendly as she seemed to be. "Hopefully though, that'll change soon with your help and everyone else's."
She then remembered that Midnight had up and disappeared a short moment ago.
"I wonder where Mid went. She's the one missing, now."
Midnight was currently sitting down at the front of the school, as She thought it was an amazing sight to see, a good place to spend alone. She was deeply in thought when she remembered that her team members were talking in class about getting the whole team together, She concluded they would probely go find Obsidian first as she must be easier to find. Midnight felt sort of bad for her team to have her in it, She was too Anti-Social to bee in any team.
She got too lost in her mix of thoughts to even realise the time and the people around her. She freaked out when she came back from her thoughts as the amount of people there were in the masses *to her 3 people = a crowd * She walked off int the halls once more, hoping no one noticed who she was or her existence.
Reimei "Shura" Shinohara
Sighing as the lesson came to a close, Reimei was one of the first to leave the courtyard. She continued messing with the shape of the crystals, fairly often making them light up and start separating little bits of the crystals and making smaller shapes, then reforming the crystals before placing them away. Rather sleepy, she began heading to the dorm room until she noticed Azurra off in the crowd. Walking over to her, Reimei gave a dull wave with a hand holding a straightened paperclip. Once more, the paperclip shaped itself, although this time forming star-like shapes for Reimei's amusement. "So why'd you bother coming to this school?" Reimei questioned sleepily. "I myself have no reason, though you seem like the kind of person who would."
@Dendyne
Azurra spotted Reimei thanks to her lackluster excuse for a wave, she noticed a small piece of metal dancing into different shapes across her hand.
"So why'd you bother coming to this school?" the girl asked once she was within speaking distance. "I myself have no reason, though you seem like the kind of person who would."
Azurra raised an eyebrow, what kind of person goes out of their way to train at a place like this unless it was what they wanted to do?
"I came here to become stronger, so I can make a name for myself." She said with a faux smile, stepping over to the wall closest to the girl to allow the students to easily pass by.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me right now Rei.. Though you should know, I don't appreciate liars so please try to avoid continuing with that behavior," Azurra said simply, keeping her features soft and smile poignant. "The point I want to make is that we're a team now, and I-I don't know if I like you but I definitely respect you. So, how about it? If we're all going to hang separately then we mine as well hang together right?,"
@Kiyoko Tomoe
Reimei "Shura" Shinohara
"Respect? Me? You're out of your mind if you respect me, I can tell you that much." Reimei stated, the paperclip returning to its original shape and size. Opening the gourd, Reimei took a quick drink from it before the paperclip returned itself to the container full of alcohol. "As for the comment about lying, I really don't have much a reason at all for being here. Just killing time while I waste away in this rotten world." Reimei yawned, a little tired. "Anyway," Reimei said before turning around, giving a wave. "See you later," Reimei said as she started walking off. Reimei just knew she had an annoyingly complicated year ahead of her, and so she decided nothing would be better right now than to just simply get some sleep so she could prepare herself enough to not stab somebody next time any kind of argument occurs between her and a student; which was bound to happen eventually.
@Dendyne
Azurra wasn't sure what she had expected but somehow was still disappointed by Reimei's answers, she seemed set on pushing her away the kinder she tried to be.
Thumbing the silver cube in her pocket she wondered what it took to get this girl to trust her, it had been a while since she felt the need to use her semblance outside of combat but that edge might be necessary to get Rei on her side.
"Whoever isn't?" Azurra said regarding the bit about killing time, returning her new teammate's dismissive wave. "Take care, Rei." She had a funny melancholic feeling in the bit of her gut at the way that conversation turned out, it had gone much differently in her head.
@Kiyoko Tomoe
(OOC: PvP mechanics are to be used in Dueling and in today's Aura Development class, but not in Grimm Physiology. However, taking on larger Grimm such as Nevermore and Deathstalkers should require an extended team effort, as seen in canon.)
Night fell and cycled into morning, and the sun rose on another day at Haven Academy, bringing warm light to the marsh and gardens.
As the frogs chirped and the students yawned, Cinder stretched her way out of bed and put on her uniform, packing her red fire-Dust-filled dress to take with her to Grimm Physiology. Field trips? She was interested. Anything that got her away from her dysfunctional team. Ochre didn't seem to be much of a leader, Reimei scared her, and Azurra... she wasn't sure what to think of Azurra at this point. The girl kind of gave her... butterflies.
As she headed down the stairs of the tower, she noticed Natsumi Abe bolting down, granola bar in one hand and scroll in the other. The booted girl stepped on the toe of Cinder's black pump as she was running. "Ah!"
Grimm Physiology: Lapis Lerazul (@Deltorian Nephran ), Midnight Lapis (@InvaderTennTallest ), Pascal Nuage (@GasMaskie ), Eminence Faustine Yowlumne (@Aryel ), Cinder Fall, Marlyn Black, Lei Chao, Natsumi Abe, Hazel Homura
"Sorry!" Natsumi called, not looking back as she chomped on her granola bar. Stepping gingerly to avoid hurting her newly-bruised foot, Cinder made her way down to the grounds for Grimm Physiology. Professor Gorman was waiting there in front of a large Bullhead airship. A few other students, including Natsumi, were already there. Cinder rolled her eyes, but stepped into the line of students. If anyone had the drive to strut their stuff on the battlefield, it was her.
"Good morning, all," Professor Gorman said from the airship's ramp, beckoning them aboard. "We'll be heading for Port Chrysocolla. For those of you not up on your Mistral history, this is a coastal town ravaged by some disease brought in from Vacuo," he said, snorting the kingdom's name. "When the plague ravaged the town, only Faunus survived, and the sense of loss and blame the humans felt attracted hundreds of Grimm. We are going to... observe them. In combat."
Dueling: Cruor Rasui (@Cruor Flumine ), Obsidian Rue (@Syrina ), Ambrose DeLuca (@Dendyne ), Irving Smith, Xavier Pitambara, Thanh Do, Nila Nalini
Professor Firebrick clapped her hands together to start the class.
"Good to see all of you. Today, we'll have three duels. Fear not, for your textbooks and I will explain etiquette and requirements."
A few of the students looked around, confused. There were no desks for books, as class was being held in the tea room, where the tea tables and chairs were pushed aside to border a very large mat that touched all but the outer edges of the room.
Smiling, Firebrick handed out pamphlets to each student. On the cover of each was the words "One on One Combat and You! Preparing for the Vytal Festival" and a picture of someone crossing their spear with another fighter's axe.
"If you'll all read the first page..."
Dueling is an art not unlike regular fighting - there are generally-accepted rules, especially in the Vytal Festival, and you are representing your kingdom in a battle of strength, intelligence, skill, and command.
Rules:
  1. When an opponent's aura is below 20%, combat must stop immediately to prevent permanent damage.
  2. When a combatant is knocked out of the arena, they immediately lose.
  3. There is no time limit.
  4. Any Semblance or weapon with the potential to hack through aura entirely is disallowed for this class.
  5. Rules may vary for different tournaments.
"If you're all finished with that, please pair up into sparring teams. You may choose your teams, as long as in subsequent matches, you pair up with a different person every time. Seeing that there's an odd number of people here, one of you will have to duel me."
"I'll do that," said the blond man with double pistols. He headed to the edge of the tea room, hoping the professor would follow. The corner space he chose was the most dangerous, since there was so much potential to be knocked out. Firebrick knew that, and she gave him a quizzical look, which he returned with a stony half-smile.
Aura Development: Ebony Raine (@Syrina ), Ochre Whitt (@Dream Killer ), Azurra Eradus (@Dendyne ), Reimei "Shura" Shinohara (@Kiyoko Tomoe ) (can't remember what Reimei was in so please forgive me if I got it wrong), Afra Albatala, Genesis Laban, Delaney Duncan, Emerald Sustrai
The narthex was a large space with a high ceiling, with stained glass windows depicting warriors with silver eyes, fallen Grimm, Faunus and humans holding hands, and at the back wall, the four seasonal maidens. There were no chairs, but small pillows for kneeling dotted the room. A warm light seemed to diffuse from the center of the room; whether that was because of the candles or Professor Palma's Semblance was unknown.
"Good to see everyone," Professor Palma said. "As your first day of combat-focused class, I figured we should begin strongly, rather than with a meditation session or something of the sort. So, without further ado..." she raised her arms and shut her eyes, as if concentrating, drawing up her power, and seven vaguely humanoid holograms appeared, one in front of each student. "Each of you must duel a light specter, using only your aura and Semblance - no weapons. Victory is not required. When you're ready, make the first move, and they will fight back."
(OOC: the light specters each have stats of 5/5/5/5. I will control and make moves for the specters.)
Reimei "Shura" Shinohara
"Question," Reimei stated, objects such as a tiny wooden ball, a paperclip, and a dust crystal currently split into multiple fragments sitting in her right hand. "Are any of these allowed for use against the specters? Without any type of dust-using weapon or the likes, of course," She questioned, probably quite confusing of a question for most around given her semblance was of an odd nature that probably none there knew the slightest bit about save for Azurra. She stared blankly awaiting an answer, albeit probably not going to be very clear an answer given the confusion most would have on how those few items; save for the dust crystal shards, of course, could really help in combat.
Palma squinted at the items. "This is a class on the development of aura to form Semblances, which can be deeply entwined with weaponry," she said, recalling a student at Beacon she'd heard about whose light copies came from within her purse. "So, considering that none of those items, except for the Dust, could be of much practical use without your aura, all of them except for the Dust fragments are permissible in battle."
Ochre Whitt
Ochre sighed a bit, realizing that both his classes so far had been completely wrong for him. He slammed his face on his desk, and groaned loudly, wishing he'd picked different classes...
I'm so fucking done with this school... Ochre thought, with a sigh, as he took his head off the desk. He looked around for any members of his team, seeing Reimi and Azurra. Reimi... He thought, forgetting for a near split moment that she was a Faunus. He stared at her ears, actually finding them quite cute... Ochre shook his head, and looked back down at his desk, his face bright red from even thinking such thoughts, towards a Faunus no less. The 'Bad Boy' glanced back at Reimi for a second, worried that she had noticed his previous staring.
@Kiyoko Tomoe
Midnight remembered that she had Grimm Physiology and ran to class 'I hope i'm not too late...it would be horrible to be remembered as the one who is always late... it would be horrible' She thought to herself as she ran to the classroom. She started to sweat thinking she was too late, But she made it just in time and sat in the far corner of the class *of course...*
DeLuca
Ambrose headed down to class after a quick breakfast, today he knew he had dueling and made sure to have Crixus with him for a reason this time. Slipping into class a bit before the bell he took a moment to check out the digs, it was regal looking room with all the carved furniture fit for some legendary tea party flanking a large mat that took centerfold in the room.
Looking about the room he noted that there were a lot of faces that the DeLuca youth recognized from the cafeteria or airship but only one that he knew. Obsidian, his raven-haired compadre.
"
Hey! You took Dueling too? Nice!" He remarked with a goofy grin and fist pump. "I was worried i'd have to represent ALOE all by my lonesome,"
Before too much longer the teacher strolled in, and after getting into position at the head of the class she clapped her hands loudly startling a few people but most assuredly catching everyone's attention.
"Good to see all of you. Today, we'll have three duels. Fear not, for your textbooks and I will explain etiquette and requirements." Ms. Firebrick spoke with a kind of gentle force you wouldn't expect as she handed out pamphlets the rules, guidelines and etiquette of a proper duel. Things his father had taught him when he would spar with Jeremy, Ambrose only one once and he was pretty sure that his brother let him win but the memory had turned to poison since he disappeared. A lot of his memories had turned sour lately, to this gnawing hurt and emptiness replacing any nostalgia that was left.
Lost in his thoughts yet again, Ambrose didn't hear what Firebrick said next but saw a blonde haired guy dash over to a corner square of the mat with a hint of a smile. He was either brave or foolish and this guy was leaning to the latter but hey, who didn't like rooting for the underdog?
"
Kick her ass, dude!" Ambrose called to the kid, forgetting the woman he was referring was still in the same room until the words were but wind on his lips. "Uuuuhhh.. What-what's that Obsidian?! You want to spar on the opposite corner?" He said with a slight chuckle at his own stupidity, while retreating to the other side of the room.
"
So, whacha got Sid?" Ambrose said playfully as he pulled his curved blade out from the sheathe strapped to his back and swing it round n' round at his side. The shotgun barrel attached to the blunt side of the blade waiting for a target to be caught in it's line of fire.
Eradus
Azurra wanted to be the first to class but took much too long socializing at breakfast so there were a handful of people milling about the sanctimonious room when she strolled in, vaulted ceilings were nice though. She sported a black sweater under a navy truster coat with jeans to match despite the tepid weather they had been getting at Haven recently. She got cold easily though, even in the summertime occasionally. Azurra hated being cold more than most people hated their mortal enemies, and tended to become somewhat grumpy when a chill did take hold.
The cozily lit room was cozy warm too, however Reimei was there. Of course she would be there, why would the universe deign to give Azurra a break when it could keep on playing this cosmic joke. Oh, Ochre was there too, fantastic. Azurra ran a hand through her cerulean tresses casually as you please while she strolled over to where Reimei stood. Giving their leader a cursory glance and smile to be polite as she passed by.
"What's u-" Azurra began after a long, silent moment.
"
Good to see everyone," The woman she assume to be Professor Palma interrupted, "As your first day of combat-focused class, I figured we should begin strongly, rather than with a meditation session or something of the sort. So, without further ado..."
The woman began to focus her concentration with her eyes closed and summoned a squad of macabre people-like things made of light. Azurra almost jumped out of her skin when one appeared directly in front of her, not 5 feet away. Holograms or projections would be her best guess, either way the way they.. they looked or moved she wasn't really sure but they creeped her the hell out.
"
Question?" Reimei finally spoke up presented a handful of oddities. "Are any of these allowed for use against the specters? Without any type of dust-using weapon or the likes, of course,"
Palma stepped forward and took a long, careful look at the items on display before speaking.
"
This is a class on the development of aura to form Semblances, which can be deeply entwined with weaponry," She said finally, "So, considering that none of those items, except for the Dust, could be of much practical use without your aura, all of them except for the Dust fragments are permissible in battle."
While Reimei talked to Palma, Azurra noticed that Ochre was letting his eyes linger on the two of them for her liking. That or the fact that he was obviously watching Rei, when he could have been ogling her. Who in their right mind would pass up on her for that blonde hussy? Not that she particularly wanted his attention like that but if why shouldn't she get it anyway?
"
A picture tends to last just a bit longer," she said in an icy melody, turning towards the boy trying to hide his flush face behind reserved features sitting on one of the cushions that took place of the desks in this place. "You know, it's kind of tradition to impress the girl before making googly eyes at her."
Azurra cast her eyes on the holographic humanoid standing before her before deciding just how she wanted to play this, after all there was a lot one could do with the pheromones beyond getting people to like them. Well if they worked on these creatures anyway.
Cruor stood stark still with a militaristic straightened back. He skimmed over the manual only to find himself re-reading it. The rules here were much more different than that if the Pit. Weapons that could cut through Aura? He would have to get himself sone of those. Turning towards the other students, he recognized Xavier and Nila. Since he knew Nila more, he figured Xavier would be the better choice.
"Would you mind partnering with me for today?" He asked him after walking over to the theives teamate.
@Mollisol
Lapis had another restless night, however this time, it was his sister's corpse burning in a pit as multiple Grimm rushed after him. Shaking off these horrid thoughts he made his way down to the airship, weapons ready and supplies ready. He made sure to keep Pascal in his sight, due to the fact that he had to spend an hour before he found him, on the other side of the school. When he arrived at the ship, he couldn't help but think about some of the things that the people had mentioned to him. "I think I know the least about Ebony... Might ask her a few things when I get the time. Nila also mentioned something about how she liked leaving behind her family. Pascal still has no idea about his... form."
Just finished with his thoughts, he remembered he needed to check on his sister. Taking out his scroll, he quickly sent a message to his sister, saying "Hi" and "How are you doing?" and the other what-not. "I hope that you are safe. Good luck with school." With that, he turned his attention to the class that he was about to attend.
