Fandom RWBY Prequel: Pillars of Chaos (reboot)

Professor Gorman wasted no time looking for the intruder upon the battle. Assessing the situation, he glanced around for any remaining Grimm, checked for the young man's heartbeat, slung him over his shoulder, and ran back to the airship with a Pascal on his back. "It's time to go!" he shouted. "Get this student to the medics!" A few students pulled Pascal off of Professor Gorman and hurried him to the medics, who'd just finished tending to Eminence.

The ship's door closed, and it took off back to Haven Academy. Class had been long, but there was enough time for a meal and some free time before heading to bed. The sun would set, and rise on academic classes first thing in the morning tomorrow. After that, the students would be free to pursue their own ends. The day after that would be their first mission.

(OOC: Headcount to see how we're going to continue after this hiatus. And a thousand apologies for that. All I will say in my defense is that college can be stressful.
If your heart's still in this, please post by 11:59 EST, June 29.

Don't believe I forgot anyone, but if I did and you're still getting notifications, feel free to post and tell me you're still here. Remember, academic classes are more of a "pursue your miniplots" day as the actual classes will be timeskipped over.)

Midnight

Midnight sat in the air ship, worried about Eminence and Hazel. She sat and stared at the window... then her hands, they were filthy, and if there was one thing Midnight hated more then grimm, it was the grimm sight of dirt and worst of all... Germs. She sat there thinking about the horrible germs that may be lurking around...

Reimei "Shura" Shinohara

Yawning as she woke up, Reimei found herself feeling an odd needle-like feeling in her back. Eyes opening and looking around, the girl couldn't help but notice that the entire world was upside-down, and thus all she could make out of her surroundings were that there were a lot of walls; or, rather, a lot of walls missing. Swinging upward, Reimei realized she was sleeping out in one of the courtyards, having been hanging right over the corner of a bench. Looking at her scroll, she noticed it was past class time. "I slept instead of going to class? Nice..." Reimei said quietly to herself, looking around at the empty courtyard.

"Seems like I can be alone here... Guess it wouldn't hurt to practice my semblance a bit more, then..." Reimei sighed, getting off the bench in which she was still sitting on. Slamming her palm onto the ground, blades of grass flew upward into the air upon hit by her hand. The earth in which the grass grew started shaking slightly, long and thin spikes, although more like javelins, shooting up from the ground made of the earthen material her palm had touched. Reimei raised the javelins up into the air, spinning them around herself as well as gently circling the many blades of grass around herself within the circle of javelins.

Raising the javelins high up, Reimei slammed them down in front of herself in a wall like structure, shooting the blades of grass at the nearest solid structure; through the javelins, shot like tiny needles and stabbing into the wall in which they were shot. Lucky for Reimei they weren't shot right at the door beside the wall, considering that at any moment, a person could come through. In fact, she was almost certain she saw the door beginning to open, so she observed it to see if it actually would open. Whether or not she was seeing it opened, she was curious to know whether or not someone would come through. Determining nobody was, however, she turned around and breathed in greatly.

"Alright... I've done my little warm-up, now to improve my ability to do that..." Reimei spoke to herself, heart racing already because of how much she was focusing her entire mind and aura. "Three... Two... One." Reimei counted slowly, before raising her right hand in front of herself, as though holding something round within it. Gentle sparks of light appeared here and there, great delays between each one, slowly appearing more and more. As they sped up and started becoming more prominent, as though light bolts of electricity dancing around her palm, Reimei began having breathing problems arise, body under a lot of stress with how much she was forcing her aura. Hearing noise, however, Reimei's concentration broke as well as the energy dancing in her palm flew outward and fizzled out.

"Damn... that... takes a lot..." Reimei panted, falling back and laying upon the ground with her arm over her face, quite exhausted and sweating.

(Anybody wanna choose a point in this post to begin watching? Perhaps Azurra could observe Reimei a little bit there at the end? It'd be funny if Reimei were to find Azurra watching her using the most powerful part of her semblance :P )

Eminence Faustine YowlumneCan we go home now?

Watching as Gorman entered the airship with a student on his back, Eminence couldn't wait to get into her bed. She tried moving her foot around only to feel a sharp pain coming from her ankle, earning a wince from the faunus. "I wonder how I'll be walking around for the next few days. she said to herself, propping herself up to sit more comfortably. "Maybe next few weeks even." Eminence had to think of something that wouldn't hinder anyone around her. Well, maybe she could hinder her team a bit. Specially Ambrose. Although it would be somewhat problematic, seeing as she would have a hard time going to the bathroom and such. Even so since Ambrose was a man.

Heaving a sigh, Eminence decided it would be best to talk about it later when the whole gang was assembled.
"Hopefully this ride home won't take long..."

Lapis sat growling in pain in the corner of the airship. He was hoping that he was going to get healed the next, mainly due to the fact that he had arrived before Pascal and his was easier to patch up but... well, you work with what you get. As he pushed some of his remaining aura into his ice dust crystal, he quickly sealed the wound with a layer of ice. "Last time... I did this was for... owww... god damn it... I did it too tightly..." The icy pricks of the layer gently turned into a ice pack. Time slowed for him, his wounds healing slowly, but he knew that it would be enough to patch up in a minute... if they ever got to his turn. Just before he felt his eyelids slam shut, he nodded at Cinder, who was... somewhere in the ship.

In Lapis' dream, (This time a good one) he was sitting, chatting to his sister. They were seated on a bench just outside of a shop, somewhere in Vale. Lapis couldn't really remember where it was, but knew it was Vale, it just felt right... As he sat talking, he felt his heart, usually frozen in it's bonds of time, beat. When he woke, the air ship had barely went anywhere. Time was still slow for him, his aura not depleting or growing. When he turned off his semblance, everything was quiet. As he looked out the window he was propped up against, he couldn't help but whisper, "Good luck sis..." With that, he fell back to sleep.
