Sure, but my Gabi is a Special Forces engineer and probably wouldn't know much about that. So instead, she's going with the unofficial Marine Corps motto - "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome." =)
Marlon is going to suggest the demolitions official policy. "If I'm running, everyone should be running."

That's what she's doing but with hover jets. That reminds me of a shirt I've seen a few times. It goes something like, "I'm with the Bomb Squad. If you see me running, you had better catch up!" =)

I'll have Gabi give it a go then. There are too many unknowns here and my character would rather err on the side of caution.

Psychie Psychie Hold up, please. I'm not certain what's going on.

Leaping and bounding, the hover tanks run while the two Ajax take to the sky.

I didn't say anything about Gabi dropping the High Lord, taking off, and leaving Alan behind. Gabi should be right beside him, hovering/flying (not running) at full blast in Battloid mode. The height and size of the Ajax and pure power from its engines should be greater than anything a tank can put out, shouldn't they?

Besides all that, High Lord or no, Gabi is not bugging out and leaving out of behind. She's staying with him.

At least, that's what she wants to do, but it's your game. Is this okay or did I misread something or what, please?

My mistake. I was thinking that it would be a pair of VHTs hauling the High Lord, and that everyone is going to be moving at top speed to get clear of the valley. If you are sticking with Alan and Marlon, that's cool, too.

However you want to work it, lady. Your show, your rules. I'll respect any decision you make. =)

No, I am not playing your character. You are right, and I was taking liberties with Gabi, making assumptions that I shouldn't have.

No worries! It doesn't mean I don't trust you! =)

You have been in my games long enough to see me goof. You've also seen how I handle it. You're doing just fine here in your very first game, and it looks like everyone's having a pretty good time to me!

So goof up, move on, and keep being the wonderful Psychie we all know and love!

Honor and fun,
Dann =)

"Marlon here...Not dead." He said, raising his gunpod, he moved over to the damnable Zentraedi. To make sure she was still alive, but most importantly, secured and not about to perform another suicide stunt as they were so fond of doing.

With everyone scrambling out of the tunnel, the only thing slowing you down is hauling the body of Zerkia out with you. With Gabi helping Alan to pull her out, everyone else is able to get out and into the open air once more. From the size of the Zentraedi's body
(bold mine)

D. Rex D. Rex Zerkia was probably dead before we left the tunnel, D..

Psychie's descriptions seemed to heavily-imply otherwise (at least to me), but I don't think anyone is going to stop Marlon if he wants to go and check her for a pulse. I'm just glad none of us bought the farm. =)

Or she expected her to die dramatically while laughing and didnt expect us at all to actually drag her out of there.

The detail that gets me is the power spike Neo detected. The tunnel mouth was described as over a mile away from the base and all of its resources, but the blast trench is about 300 yards wide at its largest. My thinking is that they were dragging this power source behind them the entire time (whatever it was).

The base itself might be largely intact. If so, that is possibly a lot of resources left behind for the ASC. I think Anton-17 could use them. =)

Furthermore, whether "Jerkia" is alive or not, we still have her! Our new EU-11s and PPCs worked without malfunctioning. No one is having to walk because they got their mech blasted out from under them. Overall, our teamwork was pretty good (in and out of game). We racked up a lot of kills together.

The only loose end I can think of at the moment is my character wants to buy the Asgardians a barbecue dinner plus cold beer for every person on their team! I feel this outcome was just not possible without them. I know some players don't give a damn about NPCs, but Gabi can't wait to tell them who they hit in the tunnel. =)

If we're lucky, perhaps we'll be offered a shot at officer ranks / salaries.

All things considered we just blitzed a huge and decisive victory for the ASC.

Given what just happened during the battle, all Marlon's focus will be going into getting better aim so that it doesn't happen again. So gonna have to find me some skills that increase my P.P.

Don't forget that at level 6 we get a free Attribute point to go where we want it.
