I hope I'm not posting too much, but I feel if in-game goes too long without a post, then the game will start to drift away.

While I know calling in this arty-strike was endorsed by our game master, it doesn't mean that it won't come without consequences. Gabi is going to feel like crap if command lays into anyone but her over this.

The military can be a strange place to work some days. =)

Marlon pulled back hard on the stick, activating thrusters to jump backwards, and hopefully out of the range.

D. Rex It's not possible to dodge more than three missiles in a single volley. I highly-recommend Marlon use chaff and flares.

Just say you are popping them out, and make a d100 roll. It gives you a 75% chance to spoof the missiles. Otherwise, you get hit and ouch time.

If D. Rex misses the roll, would you allow Gabi to fire a missile of her own at his incoming volley?

I'd give you a -5 to your roll to try to hit the other missiles due to their speed heading for Marlon, but yes, you can give it a try.

That's quite fair. Thanks! Otherwise, I think Marlon is eating an average of 12d4 x10 Mega-damage to that tank's main body (average of 300 M.D.). And that's only if the FPA didn't fire the really hot stuff.

But he got lucky this time, and your effort to save his bacon is not needed this time around.

Indeed! That is a huge thing, considering the only other option was to try and shoot the missiles down.

I never rolled for it. I had forgotten, but by now, the fight is almost done with this foe.

Yes Indeedy. And makes for a fun situation. All them missiles at close range. Dangerous and tense. And an increase to the stakes of what was just moments ago a one sided fight.
