Well, in my mind, the 4+ Regults or 2 Glaug make me think that the bigger threat are the Regults. More guns to shoot back at us.

Bare with me, been a little under the weather and my retention of details is slipping.

If I am understanding everything correctly, we are in a large engineering bay. The surviving engineers are currently in the room with us.

There are two groups/types of battle pods headed down a mecha-sized corridor that leads to the engineering bay.

A. Roughly how far down the corridor are they and which units are upfront?

B. How much time do we have before they open fire?

C. How wide is the corridor in battle pods? (1-3? more?)

A. Roughly how far down the corridor are they and which units are upfront?
There are two Glaug Officer Battle Pods just out of the opening of the corridor with a large bonfire going off in front of them. They are blocking a number of Regult Battle Pods, probably 4-6 of them or more.
B. How much time do we have before they open fire?
Now that they are no longer distracted by the explosion, once their initiative comes up, which is right after yours for the Glaugs.

C. How wide is the corridor in battle pods? (1-3? more?)
The corridor is no wider than two pods wide.

D. Rex D. Rex Thanks, D.! I bet Marlon will do an even better job than Gabi with that new cannon he's got! =)

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Lol but your wrong. Lol there was a reason he mention when getting the cannon that the others were a better shot. I get an improbable amount of poor rolls.

If the RP Nation dice roller treats you badly, you might want to ask Psychie if she will roll for you. =)

And, uh oh, but I think Ryuko's pretty red Ajax is about to get lit up...

No. I must take the dice as they fall such is the spirit of Dice rp. But by golly you better believe, that I'm gonna ham up my good rolls to make up for it :p

Thanks, but there is something satisfying about being able to make my own rolls, good or bad, that I like. Most of the time. There are days that I feel that this dice bot has it out for me.

Agreed. As tempting as it is. All the bad rolls make the good ones all the sweeter. Got to embrace the chance!

Zipping around the last turn, you see a large number of Zentraedi, probably over two hundred, about half of them in light and heavy infantry armor and carrying rifles, with eight suits of Female Powered Armor standing next to a tall, statuesque woman as she looks out over the assembled soldiers.
Well now. I guess it was a good thing that we didn't just go running in there.

Psychie Psychie

If they left now. Would there be enough time to arm a crate of the mines and leave them by the entrance, so can denote them as they start coming out?

Deunan says, "Its my guess that they have another exit somewhere, far enough out that we just haven't seen it yet. Gabi and Ryuko, spread out. Find that exit."
(bold mine)

Gabi immediately switched to the squadron-only channel. "Hey! This isn't right! Maybe this is a decoy force, you know?"

Gabi used the Ajax's advanced radar and sensors for signs of movement outside of the kill zone. It made no sense for Low-life Jerkia High Lord Zerkia to send in a force like that just to get them massacred. If there was a ruse here, Gabi wanted eagerly to find it.
(bold mine)

Psychie Psychie In case my writing was unclear, Gabi was already searching. I don't want to hold up the game due to a miscommunication. =)

You're right as rain, Rykon Rykon . =)

This assumes the charracter has the Detect Concealment skill. Unlike Perception (which is basically a free passive trait), one must select Detect Concealment.

I just checked, you're right. She doesn't have Detect Concealment, which is silly considering that the Scout Recon MOS doesn't have Detect Concealment but it has pilot skills and electronics warfare.

I'm legitimately curious now... Who designs a Scout's training curriculum and forgets Detect Concealment, Detect Ambush, and Camouflage? [Just to clarify, this isn't intended to be critical of the character, but questioning the design of the MOS that is in the book.]

In my own Palladium game, I have allowed for some skill respeccing just because of odd cases like these. Sometimes, Palladium nails an M.O.S. and other times, their conclusions baffle me as they have you.

I apologize for the brief post, but I don't want to hold the game up. =)
