Alexander Hart (deceased)
Alexander is the primary historian and mentor of the Divine Knights. As all historians are, he has been chosen at random by powers that be. As a boy he received knowledge of the Knights and his duty and skeptically accepted it. One might say he's just doing the right thing, strange or not. He has devoted his life to keeping tabs on the Knights history, even though some parts are lost in time. Alexander is one of the last people of the modern world who serve under King Ascelin and makes great effort in preparing for his return as well as preparing the current Knights. He has a teenage son, Peter, and strives to be the best father he can be for him at age 42. He has inevitably brought Peter into his work, which isn't uncommon for someone with lonely work like this.
He is slew by Dumanax when the five Knights are first brought together ahead of schedule.
Peter Hart
Alexander's son. A bright young man, only 16 years of age. Peter, despite his age, is highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the Divine Knights' history and lore, as well as the Shadoji demons. He grew up on the farm with his dad after his parent's divorce soon after his birth. His mother found the line of work crazy and believed it all to be only myth. It was a struggle for Peter going back and forth as a baby, but as he grew he decided he wanted to help his dad. Peter has a kind heart. He's the dorky kid at school, but he knows he doesn't need to be cool like everyone else. He's already an expert on the history and lore, so what the heck does anyone else's opinions matter? He wants to be involved as possible, yet his father sees it too dangerous. He does what he can on the farm and in the studies, however.
Following his father's untimely demise, he takes on the role of Guardian in his place, doing the best he can.
Ingrid Meyers
Ingrid is just a girl. A girl with mostly pink hair and small visible sections of black. Ingrid is rather soft-spoken, but she's much too social and energetic to be labeled as such. On the flip side she can be shy. Sweet and generous, Ingrid thrives to help her friends and make sure they know how special they are, because in her opinion, everybody is special. And everybody is worth kindness. Ingrid likes to make friends and just stay happy, because being sad is the last thing she wants. She loves music, and from the moment she was a little girl, she's loved to sing and had a desire to learn as many instruments as possible. Her heavy interest in music has led her to be more creative than others her age. She is extremely trustworthy, clinging on to her new friends in a new place so fast.
Locations:
The Hart Farm
Family-owned farm. Alexander and his son Peter live on and manage a farm, growing crops and caring for the vast assortment of animals. Fruit and vegetables are what they grow and sell, so they make a decent profit. The soil is rich and the weather is good, so they get lucky quite often! There's even a patch of beautiful flowers that they sell during the holidays to go into gift baskets to those who wish!
Not only is the farm where Alex and Peter live, it's also the base of operations for the Rangers. On the surface, it's a happy little farm, a farmhouse big enough for them all to live in as well. But underground in the 'basement' is a huge library/training center, full of texts and tomes on various magics and historical moments in the history of the Divine Knights and Shadoji Demons. In addition to the library, there's a smithy area, a training center, and a collection of mystical items to help the Rangers on their journey. It's well-hidden, and under a concealment spell, so it's the perfect place to hide the base! And since they find out the castle isn't an option, this is the next best thing and back up plan.
-Living Room, Kitchen, 2 floors, 10 bedrooms, the Lair, training grounds, library, stables.
Faye Castle
Belonging to the royal family for thousands of years, Ascelin's home still stands in the ruins of the kingdom, long forgotten by the present world and its inhabitants. Ascelin's castle still stands, a sense of ruin and memory about it. In it lies a throne room, a library of its own, and several chambers to provide for an army. The intended base of the Rangers, it also has more resources of the fantastical than one can count. As well as a perfect record of the Shadoji Demons. Dumanax however had risen ahead of schedule before Ascelin, meaning he managed to take the castle for himself and even destroy parts of it as it withered down over time.
-Main Hall, War Room, Courtyard, Dungeon, Arcane Tower, Garden

Villains:
Dumanax - Supreme Disciple of Silence
Ancient disciple from the Shadoji demons. From the farthest reaches of a nightmare dimension, he was one of the first Shadoji demons to rise beyond simpleton intelligence. Being an original demon, Dumanax is several thousand years old. Seven hundred years ago he finally led an uprising strong enough to break free of the nightmare world the Shadoji originate from, crossing into the human world with a full army behind him. He'd trained to savagely crush his opponents and all he wished, his only desire to spread torment on humanity. In his mind, he sought to either destroy the humans or enslave them. Dumanax rose to power much faster than anticipated, reaching a level some might call godhood.
Ascelin--the new king--gathered his forces and the first Divine Knights to rid the land of Dumanax and his blight upon humanity. The demon silenced all who challenged him, just barely sparing the original Knights. He cut down several opposing warriors before Ascelin wielded his blade and slice across his throat, forever silencing Dumanax. In revolt, the demon lashed out and weakened Ascelin and the Knights of old, but his injury put a dent in his godly might. In a great battle, Dumanax was then sealed away, for he was too powerful--and remains such. He had been cursed under a spell to sleep underground, just as Ascelin would, the two nemesis' to rise together in every generation, forever continuing their battle. But Dumanax' godly power--that of an original Shadoji--makes him utterly invincible. He can not be killed. Every time he rises, he forges himself a new disciple of his choosing. One for every century. Gathering as many as possible to one day slay Ascelin and break the curse so he may rule the world.
Zaken - Disciple of Chaos
Zaken is Dumanax's first general and disciple of chaos. Vicious, ruthless, evil to the core. Zaken's hunger for battle and his thirst for blood is unrivaled by all who would oppose him. 600 years ago he had been recruited by Dumanax when he first returned, forming the beginning of the expansive roster. He is remarkably skilled with a blade, his sword being his most trusted weapon. Zaken is extremely loyal to his master, following no ones orders but his and his alone.
Rogana - Disciple of Mystery
Rogana is Dumanax's second general and disciple of mystery. She is charming, mysterious and takes pleasure in the cries of children. 500 years ago she was recruited into the ranks of the Shadoji demon army. Rogana finds the acts of Dumanax to be rather charming if not foolish. Of all generals, she is the least cooperative at times. But she knows where her loyalties are. She fights with words, diplomatic and cunning, thinking it best to get in the enemies head rather than their chest. Best to make them dizzy with her umbrella!
Torth - Disciple of Fire
Torth is Dumanax's third general and disciple of fire. Recruited 400 years ago, he serves as the top adviser and 'think tank' to the operations undergone. He is a mage, fire being his specialty. He often rivals with Rogana, thinking his logic and reason is far better for the mind than her mystery and confusion. Academic matters are his forte, not so much for combat. But if need be, he can burn entire villages to a crisp. He has before, and he'll do it again. Torth is fiery, wise and hasn't the time for petty insults.
Andero - Disciple of Slaves
Andero is Dumanax's fourth general and disciple of slaves. Andero is cruel, proper and possessive. He will serve his master--ironically-- and put those beneath them in their place. 300 years ago he displayed to Dumanax that making humanity their slaves would be the best possible outcome. To Andero, owning people like property is as simple as breathing in the air. Andero is in fact the one who gave the Thralls their current form, serving as their master and dispatching them under orders with his whip and cane. Dumanax found the Thralls a much more effective means of using the baseline Shadoji demons for combat. (this mindset of slavery is not reflective of the creator of this RP or any persons involved, it is only a fiction character portrayed as a villain)
Urla - Disciple of Beauty
Urla is Dumanax's fifth general and disciple of beauty. Seen as the most beautiful creature to ever walk the Earth from the Shadoji's eyes, Urla has gained the affection of many in her lifetime. She was recruited 200 years ago. Urla does not see fighting as her strong suit at all, she fears that she would somehow defile her beautiful external appearance. Internally she is wicked and hateful. The mind of a selfish and vein child, Urla is a real stunning woman of value among the Shadoji.
Lusa - Disciple of Night
Lusa is Dumanax's sixth general and disciple of night. Lusa was recruited 100 years ago, the most recent addition to the roster. She was a fast-learning woman in the ranks, however. She carries a scepter which she demanded the Thralls craft for her upon her entrance to the disciples. A proper Shadoji cannot function without a weapon of some kind. She is incredibly posh and unbearable to be around. She hates the sunlight, for it burns her sensitive skin! A master in hexes and foul curses, she wields magic like Torth, but instead of direct pain she deals slow and evil punishment to those unlucky enough. A self-proclaimed countess of the shadows, Lusa worships the moon as a God and like a high priestess she tells the word of the moon.
Thralls
Thralls are the general foot soldiers and grunts of the Shadoji. Given new and updated form by Andero, they respond to him as if he were their master...or father. After all, they share a similar likeness, no? Mindless and brutal...but foolish, they carry Dumanax's flag and serve the disciples while also dealing with the Knights in combat.
