Fandom Pokemon: Wrath of God (Closed)

Iris hadn't realized she had gotten ahead of Warrington but had instead continued through the forest. She was looking for any water Pokemon, disappointed that she hadn't seen any here in the forest. Instead she saw mainly Caterpie, Weedle, and Pidgey. She pulled out her Pokedex and tapped in the Caterpie first to see what it said about the Bug-Type Pokemon


"Caterpie, the Worm Pokémon. Caterpie uses the suction cups on its feet to climb trees and feed on its favorite leaves."


"Let's see...Caterpie evolves into Metapod and then Butterfree at its final evolution," Iris said to herself. "Weedle evolves into Kakuna and then Beedrill."


Tapping a couple of buttons, she brought up a picture of a yellow Pokemon with a stinger on its head and pink nose. "Weedle. The stinger on this Pokémon's head guarantees that any attacker will get the point right where it hurts."


"Well I know Weedle is a Bug/Poison Type Pokemon," said Iris. "Caterpie is just a Bug-Type Pokemon but I think Butterfree is part Psychic or Flying." She pressed a button until she got to Butterfree.


"Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokémon. Butterfree is the evolved form of Metapod. The scales covering its wings help it to shed water."





With a sigh, she closed her Pokedex and slipped into her pocket, sitting down underneath a tree with Charmander at her side to wait for Warrington who seemed to have fallen behind and Zachary who she didn't see. Perhaps they had both gone off to look for more Pokemon to catch. @Scrubnoppon @zacharychi

Dayton was visibly shaking as he stared in disbelief about the situation he led himself into. "H-Hi..." he said, slowly waving and trying to force a smile, causing the trainer to give off a rather pathetic look. Not knowing what to say he decided to introduce himself, "I-I'm D-Dayton..." he said, pointing at himself and then pointing at Bella "...and s-she's B-Bella..." as soon as the Oddish heard her name she jumped out of the counter and aproached the girl, greeting her herself, doing so with a cheerfull smile and an "Oddish!".

As Drake wakes up he screams "FINALLY" he gets up from his bed and looks out the window "Goodmorning chimchar and jolteon".


He changes his clothes then rushes downstair "Goodmorning Dad".He gulps down his cereal and tries to exit trough the door but gets blocked by his father "Son here u can have jolteon's Pokeball" "Thanks Dad" He Rushes outside "Let's go chimchar" chimchar climbs onto his back Drake passes trough route 1 and head t pallet town to talk to professor oak

Zachary had fallen behind, battling many Caterpies and Weedles, the caterpies couldn't damage Duskull and Poison Type moves were resisted by ghosts. "Hey, wait for me!" he said as he realized he had fallen behind, and started going where he thought everybody else was. "Iris, kid with a camera? Where are you two?" Zachary sort of shouted, sort of regularly said. He moved the Sentret he just caught to the front of his party to train it if he couldn't find Iris and that kid with a camera. @eclipsehowls @Scrubnoppon

(Heh I just caught that when you pointed it out. I was starting to fall asleep when I wrote that.)


Iris had sat there under the tree waiting for one of the boys to come with her, not moving from where she could see the path but it seemed both of them had fallen behind and vanished. The Caterpie and Weedle evolutions didn't interest her and Bugs were weak against Fire Attacks. A flash of light appeared as she released her Starly. "Starly, go see if you can find Zachary or Warren anywhere." she ordered.


"Starly." Starly circled and flew off to look for either of the humans that were accompanying her Master. This left Iris under the tree with Charmander. She flew for a little while before spotting someone on the ground below her and flew down. As the bird got closer it saw the trainer had a Duskull. "Starly!" the Pokemon cried. It turned in a circle, showing the direction Zachary had to go. @zacharychi

 

[Dolches]

"Oh, that way?" Zachary asked, following the Starly. "Oh, hey! There you are!" Zachary said when he got to Iris. "Where's that kid with the camera?" He asked. @eclipsehowls

"Good job Starly," said Iris as Zachary finally reached her. "I don't know. You both fell behind so I decided to wait here for you two," she said to him. "Checking out information on Caterpie, Weedle and Butterfree with my Pokedex. Trying to decide what Water-Type that can walk on land to get though since we'll be in Pewter City in maybe a day if we don't get lost, then I probably won't find any." She sighed and looked at Starly and Charmander. "We'll give it our all either way. Right you two?"





"Starly!" Starly shouted in agreement.


"Char," said Charmander.


"Did you catch any other Pokemon?" asked Iris as she sent Starly out again to look for Warrington. @zacharychi @Scrubnoppon

"Eh... No, I just trained my Duskull." Zachary said. "Did you catch anything?" He asked.

Iris shook her head. "No," she said. "I've only got my Charmander and Starly." @zacharychi

"Well, I'll train my Sentret while waiting for the camera kid." Zachary said as he sent out his Sentret and started battling any wild Pokemon he saw.

Warren and growlithe were kinda lost. They got so involved with the battle they lost the trial. Thankfully the starly came around And showed them the way back to the others. "HEYYYY GUYSSS!" Warren ran and waved to get thier attention. This was the first time Warren was able to talk to the other kid.


"Oh, you," Warren walked over to him "I never got your name. Anyway, I'm Warren! Warren Ledden. And this is growlithe!...


For now at least. I'll think of a nickname later. Anyway, if we're all ready, shall we get going?"

"Oh, your name is Warren? I'm Zachary, it's a little weird that we're going to travel together and we just got each other's names." He said. "We can get going once Iris is ready, speaking of which. Iris, you ready?" @Scrubnoppon @eclipsehowls

Soon, Starly came back with Warren, the bird Pokemon remaining in the air. Warren and Zachary introduced themselves to each other as Iris got up. "Starly, Charmander return." The two Pokemon went into their poke balls and she put them at her waist before grabbing her backpack and slipping it over her shoulders. "Okay, I'm ready to go," she said to them. "I think we should get to Pewter City in a day if we don't get lost." At least she hoped so. She wasn't very good at reading maps and the thought of getting lost frightened her. It was that dislike and fear of getting lost that made her decide to get Starly. @zacharychi @Scrubnoppon

Shelly couldn't help but look away, but managed to tell Dayton and Bella her name. "My name is Shelly. It's nice to meet the two of you." She forcefully smiled. She was happy someone came and talked to her, but has social anxiety. Shelly noticed how happy and friendly Dayton and Bella were. She couldn't help but overthink what that meant. Why is his oddish so nice to him? Is he a better trainer than me? I want me and my pokemon to be like them, but sometimes Grimm won't even listen to me. I just feel like... sometimes... I don't even know... Shelly was spacing out and snapped back into reality. Nurse Joy came back with Grimm's pokeball and walked up to Shelly giving it to her telling her he's in good health and checks out. Shelly quickly put Grimm's pokeball away. She hoped he wouldn't break out of his pokeball and cause any trouble. She felt like she needed to tell Dayton about Grimm for Bella's sake. "My pokemon... you see... he doesn't always listen and... I don't want to see any fighting... so maybe I should go... " She was nervous, but wanted a friend so she took a optimistic perspective. "... but maybe he's sleeping!" She didn't want to go alone and asked if she could travel with them. At least until she gets a handle over her pokemon. "So if it's okay... can I follow you? Just for a bit?"

Zachary made sure to stay behind Iris this time, and occasionally looked behind him to see if Warren was still following them. @eclipsehowls @Scrubnoppon

Iris heard footsteps behind her and looked over her shoulder to see that Zachary was following her, the boy keeping track of Warren as the taller was behind them. She tried to be on the lookout for water-types but unless she fell into a creek or a river, she was likely to have to make do with Starly and Charmander against the Pewter City Gym Leader. Making it a challenge to win her Boulder Badge.

 

[Dolches]

"I think we're almost there. I think that's the exit!" Zachary said as he ran towards the exit.

"...It's nice to meet you too..." Dayton's nervousness seemed to have been replaced with suprise the more Shelly talked, as her anxiety was quite apparent. "She's even more unsure than me about this..." this thought had somewhat caused the trainer to completelly calm down, even if the feeling of safety quickly crumbled as soon as the girl mention the issue with her Pokemon, not even the fact that it was problably sleeping was enough to not have caused Dayton to become terrified, his mind flooding with thoughts about what kind of monster Shelly kept in her Pokeball. When the girl asked if she could join, Bella immediatly looked at Dayton with an enthusiastic expression but he was just looking at the girl, completelly frozen as he began thinking about the positives and negatives of what he once thought was a stellar plan back when he asked the same question to Ashley. Dayton only got back to his senses when Bella decided to bump into him to get his atention, her expression giving off the response he should take. Dayton smiled nervously, "S-Sure...You can be with us for as long as you'd like..." and with that, Bella began jumping up and down, yelling "Oddish!" in excitement.

Iris watched Zachary run by her and towards the supposed exit of Viridian Forest. Running out of a forest like that. What if he ran off a cliff? "Hang on! At least watch where you're going!" she shouted after him as he ran off. @zacharychi

"Wh-" Zachary said before he fell into a river. "Oh hey, look. A river. I wonder what Pokemon we'll find here!" He said, as a Magikarp jumped and hit him in the face. "Like that, water Pokemon!" @eclipsehowls @Scrubnoppon

Warren finally caught up With the group. "Sorry guys, I saw this really cute thing where a weedle span around on its spike. Cool stuff, but anywa-OHMYGOD!" Warren ran over to Zachary. Warren recorded the magicarps flopping in and out of the river with one hand and outstretched his hand with the other to help out Zachary.


"You okay man?"

"Yeah, I'm ok." Zachary said as he got out of the river as more Magikarp flopped down the river. "How do we cross this?" He asked. @eclipsehowls @Scrubnoppon

Iris sighed as Zachary ran right into a river. Moments later Warren came up, starting to explain he was doing some filming only to notice Zachary. The other male helped Zachary out of the river as Iris came along behind the pair, shaking her head in bemusement as she looked upon Zachary. "I suppose we can be lucky it was a river and not a cliff or gorge," she said. "Are you alright? Are we close to Viridian or should we stop for the night and continue tomorrow?" she asked. Iris wasn't sure how safe it was to be in wet clothing. @zacharychi @Scrubnoppon
