(I swear I just hit a wall in Skylar's Gym in Pokemon White.)


"Yes it will. Just let me call him to program it and send it over." She turned to the video phone and dialed Professor Oak's lab. A minute went by when the Professor appeared on the video phone. "Professor Oak, I have a trainer here who would like to take the Pokemon League but he doesn't have a Pokedex. Could you send one over?"


"I must have forgotten to notify the trainers who didn't come to the lab today. Oh dear. Yes, just give me the trainer's name and hometown as well as a picture."


"Alright." She pulled out a camera and took a picture of Zachary before sending it over to Professor Oak. "What is your name and home town?" she asked Zachary. @zacharychi

 

[Dolches]

"My name is Zachary Tragiasa and my hometown is... Does that mean where I live now or where I was born?" Zachary asked. @eclipsehowls

"The town you live in," said Nurse Joy after consulting with Professor Oak as she typed in Zachary's name. @Zach

 

[Dolches]

"Pallet Town." Zachary said. "Also, how does the Pokedex work?"

Nurse Joy put that information into the computer and sent the email to Professor Oak who left to program a Pokedex. "Your Pokedex records information on Pokemon you have seen or caught. Pokemon data includes a picture, a description of the Pokemon, their type or types, gender and ability. It doesn't record any data on Mega Evolution or on Pokemon that haven't been discovered yet. It is needed to register for the Pokemon League or Contest in all the regions. It also acts as your ID so keep it safe and don't lose it. Your Kanto Pokedex will work in Kanto and in the Orange Archipelago. If you were go to Johto you would need to get a new Pokedex from Professor Oak before setting off for Johto. Also, you may only carry six Pokemon at a time. Any extra Pokemon you catch will be transferred to Professor Oak's lab in Pallet Town for safe keeping. You may switch your Pokemon out via a Pokemon Center and by contacting Professor Oak to use the transfer machine but must send a Pokemon in return for one you want if you have six Pokemon on you."


Professor Oak came back and sent the Pokedex through the computer. Nurse Joy removed it from her computer and registered him for the Pokemon League before handing him a badge case and his new Pokedex. "Well you are all registered for the Pokemon Leauge. You will need 8 badges to enter the Pokemon League from the eight gyms around Kanto. Good luck to you both."

"Thanks! I'll make sure to get through the eight gyms." Zachary said as he started walking out of the Pokemon Center. He checked out his Pokedex, sent out his Duskull and Sentret and scanned them both. 'Why is it grey on the Pokedex?' He thought as the Duskull on the Pokedex was registered to be grey instead of green. @eclipsehowls

Iris walked out of the Pokemon Center and exhaled as she looked around her. She couldn't wait to make another friend, human or Pokemon didn't matter. Immediately her mind began thinking of combination moves with Starly and Charmander though she couldn't think what Flying moves would be good with fire. @zacharychi

Warren frowned, he was excited to film a cool poking Pokemon like that. Oh well. "Oh, well thanks anyway, mister. C'mon growlithe. Let's check this place out, the... Pokemon center?" Just as he decided to check it out, a girl came out, with another Pokemon. Upon further examination it turned out to be charmander! "Woah! Look growlithe! It's one of those starters..." Warren pulled out his camera. And walked up to the girl. "Excuse me miss, do you mind if I take some footage of this Charmander of yours?"

[Ahara]

"Theres too many people bothering me around here. I need to get out of here!" Tokorev motioned to pinsir that it was time to go. His wristwatch lit up with a huge flash of light as pinsir mega evolved. Tokorev grabbed onto the back of his pokemon and they took of at extremely high speed.

Warren frowned, he was excited to film a cool poking Pokemon like that. Oh well. "Oh, well thanks anyway, mister. C'mon growlithe. Let's check this place out, the... Pokemon center?" Just as he decided to check it out, a girl came out, with another Pokemon. Upon further examination it turned out to be charmander! "Woah! Look growlithe! It's one of those starters..." Iris turned as someone came up to her with a camera and a Growlithe walking beside him, having released her Charmander as she was waiting for Zachary. "You're that camera trainer from earlier!" she exclaimed in surprise. He sure got here fast, she thought to herself. Then again he was taller than her so maybe his longer legs got him here ahead of the others? But hadn't the three boys she'd left agreed to travel together? Then where were Rex and Kenneth? At his question though to film Charmander she looked down at her partner.


"Char. Charmander," Charmander said waving his hand in a dismissive gesture.


"I guess that's okay," said Iris. @Scrubnoppon

 

[Waimor]

Dayton blushed, "T-thanks... Ashley." he said, his shaking and rather scared behavior seemed to have calmed down a bit, "Maybe I was wrong about her..." he thought to himself, looking at Bella who seemed to have taken a liking to the girl. As Dayton got up and was about to pick up his backpack, he got reminded once again of his task, but now he had an idea of how he would do this. "A-Ashley... y-you wouldn't be thinking about registering for the Pokemon League, right?" he asked nervously, Bella looking at him curiously.

Zachary exited the Pokemon Center and saw Iris talking to somebody with a camera. "Why do you have a camera?" He asked. @Scrubnoppon

 

[Ahara]

Tokorev's Pinsir landed in the HQ and he jumped off. He pat his pokemon on the head and returned him to his pokeball. He walked with both arms behind his back over to his office window. He gazed into the large open room in front of him to see Articuno struggling to escape from its giant cage. He wished he didn't have to keep the pokemon in such conditions but it was necessary for the plan to work.


Matsura walked into the room and greeted her superior, "Sir! We have located another legendary pokemon. One of the legendary beasts this time, Suicune. Should we dispatch a team to pick it up?"





"No, I want you to personally oversee this errand. We cannot afford to have any mistakes," Tokorev sat at his desk and put his feet up, "and tell the boys in the lab to work faster with the locations of these legendaries. At this rate the plan will take months to complete."





Matsura saluted and spun on her heel to exit the room. She motioned for the two grunts at the door to follow her without missing a beat. They looked towards each other with fear before falling in behind her. "We're going hunting boys."

 

[Scrubnoppon]

"Nice! Thank you!" Warren pushed the button on his camera to start recording. "Woah! You got a nice charmander here! Have you considered modeling?" Warren got a different angle that emphasizes it's face. "Show some love to the camera! Get happy! Let's see silly! Show me those pearly whites!"

Warren began to notice he was being extrmemly akward...


He stopped recording and took a look at his footage.


"Thanks!


Oh and about that... Back there... Sometimes I really get into filming. My bad. Anyway, he's yours. Thank you again!" Warren stopped for a second.


"Wait... Before you go, do you want to travel with me? Or if you're in a group id be happy to join, but I like having people Around. If you don't mind."

Charmander had just stood there as the human filmed him, the Pokemon not understanding what was being done but it was shortly over. "I thought that you were traveling with Rex and Kenneth?" Iris asked, referring to what she had heard Walter say at the beginning of Route 1. "But...I guess if it is okay with Zachary, you can join us." @Scrubnoppon @zacharychi

 

[Dolches]

<p>"Hmm? Yeah, I'm ok with it." Zachary said. "Well, we better get going, shouldn't we?" Zachary said.</p>

Iris nodded and she set off with Charmander, her thoughts again turning to what Water-Type to get. One that moved on Land and Sea for sure. So nothing like Magikarp or Goldeen or Dewgong. @zacharychi

Zachary followed, his Pokemon in their Pokeballs.

Ashley's eyes kinda lit up.


"Yeah, but doing it with a partner seems complicated. I like working alone, it was nice to meet you Dayton but I believe we can't be rivals."


And with that, she walked away and did her own journey by herself. (I'M SO SORRY BUT I'M CLOGGED UP!)

 

[Waimor]

Dayton smiled nervously, "Oh... Goodbye then..." he said, waving at Ashley as she walked away. "There goes my plan..." he thought to himself, sighing as he picked up his backpack "W-well Bella, we shouldn't k-keep grandma w-waiting, let's go get t-the... Badges..." he said to Bella, trying to stay somewhat calm about all this. As the two were walking to the Pokemon Center to get registered, Dayton noticed a group of three people passing by, going around them to make sure they wouldn't notice him. Bella looked at Dayton, dissapointed that her trainer still hadn't learnt his lesson, "M-maybe A-Ashley was just one of the lucky few t-that didn't want to h-hurt us..." Dayton explained, but as he did so, Bella tried to take the same approach she had taken with the Seviper girl, nevertheless the same trick wouldn't have fooled her trainer twice as Dayton stopped her by lifting her up the ground "Oh no, don't think about it." he said to his Pokemon with a rather serious tone, and proceeded to enter the Pokemon Center, with Bella in his hands struggling to break free.

 

[Auronos]

Shelly was on her way back home in Viridian. She had gone to Professor Oak's to get her Pokedex and parcel so she could purchase pokeballs. She biked on the path to the PokeMart and got her first pokeballs, but only got a few because she also bought potions and antidotes just in case things took a wrong turn. She then went to the PokeCenter to make sure her scyther Grimm is well rested before any action. Shelly handed her pokeball to nurse joy and sat down in the center's lobby. As she sat down she could feel her anxiety and doubts about going on her journey all alone. "What if I can't do this? I wish I wasn't all by myself, but I'm too scared to even talk to anyone. I don't know what to do!"

 

[Waimor]

As Dayton went inside the Pokemon Center, he got startled by the sudden appearence of a girl who looked younger than him who procedeed to hand over her pokeball to Nurse Joy. As she sat down and spoke, Dayton sighed "Tell me about it...I'm not even sure if I can actually get a single badge or not..." he unwillingly responded to her, putting Bella in the counter "Uh... I would like to register for... t-the Pokemon L-League..." Dayton unsurely said to Nurse Joy.


"Sure. Just hand me your Pokedex so I can register you." Nurse Joy's request caused the trainer to gulp as he began reaching over to his left pocket, where there lied a Pokedex that lacked very little use since it was first given to him. Dayton remembered well the time where his grandfather took him to Pallet Town to meet professor Oak so he could give him that very same Pokedex, expecting that the Oddish he helped Dayton capture and having this device could somewhat entice the kid into going to an adventure. That happened 3 years ago and only now was he actually going to one. "I guess it was worth the wait , wasn't it grandpa..." he thought to himself as he gave his Pokedex to Nurse Joy, hoping that his lack of progress wasn't recorded onto the device.


After a while, Nurse Joy gave him back his Pokedex, "You're now registered for the Pokemon League. Good Luck on your journey." she kindly said, "T-Thanks...I guess..." Dayton said, putting the Pokedex back into his pocket. "Well...Let's go... Bella?" as he looked back at his Pokemon he couldn't help but notice her grinning "W-What's wrong?" he asked, Bella looking at him and then the girl that was sitting at the lobby, the same one he talked to without even noticing, causing Dayton to become completelly paralyzed as he finnaly understood what had happened.

Shelly was surprised by Dayton's response. She felt like she was the only one full of doubts and fears, but now she met someone like her. This gave her a great sense relief. Dayton's oddish was staring at Shelly. Shelly looked away but his oddish just kept on starring at her. So she reluctantly waved to the oddish and it's trainer greeting them. "Hi there..."

A sign in the center of town attracted Iris's attention and she went to read it.

Viridian City


The City of Evergreen

Iris looked at the sign in interest before leaving and heading south west towards Route 2 which went through Viridian Forest. She checked her map. Pewter City was on the other side of Viridian Forest. Folding her map up, they left Viridian City behind them and entered the forest, the trees at once closing in on them and the sounds of the city beginning to fade away. @zacharychi @Scrubnoppon

Warren had his camera at the ready the second they all left for Viridian Forrest. Warren slowly walked while taping some low shot footage of some trees. Warren was so focused on keeping the shot in thirds, that he tripped over a caterpie!


"GWAAAAAHH!" Warren fell to the ground, holding his hands up to avoid hurting his camera.


Warren turned around and took a look at the caterpie.


"Woahh..." Warren began to tape the caterpie, then had a nice idea.


"Hey growlithe! Let's have your first battle!"


Growlithe looked at Warren excitedly. He was extremely happy to finally show what he can do.


"Okay! Growlithe! Growl at him for me!"


Growlithe did just that, and the caterpie cowered making a scared noise. The caterpie then shot out some sticky string that landed right on growlithe!


Warren was a little bit worried, but then he noticed that growlithe wasn't hurt, he just didn't move as fast. Warren was recording it all.


"Okay! Get him now!"


Growlithe took a running start and pounced on the caterpie then bit it, knocking it out. Warren stopped the recording and ran over to growlithe.


"YEAAAH! Nice job!" Wanted to give him a congratulatory pet, but he noticed all the sticky string on growlithe.


After about a minute, Warren got it all off!


"I'm so proud of yo-GUWAHHH!" Warren fell back, and looked at his burnt hand.


"OWWWW! Dude what the hec-" Warren put 2 and 2 together. He knows how to use fire now!


"NIIICE! You learned..." Warren scanned him with his pokedex.


"Ember! Nice!" Warren went up to growlithe "nice job! I'm proud!" Warren patted him on the head. To avoid getting burnt again.


"Let's not keep the others waiting. Let's go!"
