"Um no." Said Sal getting more nervous and stops talking.

 

[Latios]

"The humans took our parents. They took their lives for thier greedy wants. As for my coat, that's another story involving the humans greed."

 

[Hexxy]

Sal whispers. "Tell me." He stays silent after that.

 

[Latios]

Latios's face darkened. It was almost impossible to tell what he was thinking. "I'm not sure your ready for such a story. A mark like this, it's a scar."

 

[Hexxy]

Come on I can handle anything except trees (cause he keeps getting hurt bye them)


Sal says excitedly

"Who was that?" Amy asked, looking up at Draka. Everything happened so fast, it was all kind of a blur...

 

[Assailant]

Max smiled and took her claw in a sort of hand shake. "Well, if you'd please, I'd appreciate these berries. Furthermore, I have a rather peculiar request. Have you seen any shiny or beautiful red stones around here? A rather important day is approaching, and I'd like to have one for that day."

 

[Latios]

"Who was who, you mean Latios. He's a friend of mine. I helped him when he was a child." Said Draka, she sat down by the pond by the water fall.


Latios gave a long look at Sal. He was so young. Could he possibly take it. "Alright, I'll tell you. An organization of humans took me captive. For 12 years they preformed experiments on me. The pain I felt those years was unbearable. One of which turned my feather black. One day a guard was foolish enough to leave without a replacement. I made my chance, I killed any human who stood in my way." Latios would not tell him every thing. If he would tell him it all then he probably would have been shocked to his core.


"No sorry. I haven't seen any red stones. You can have to berries though, we have plenty." Emlas said with a smile.

"Really?" Amy asked, climbing down from Draka's arm so she could lay down next to her "What happened? Was he hurt?"

 

[Latios]

"Badly. When he returned to Emlas he was covered in blood. His eye, boy they were scary. It was as if he'd seen something horrible. When those wounds healed, his body was left with thousands of scars. Luckily his feathers hide that. He never told me what happened though. He's almost afraid to talk about it."

"Oh no..." Amy replied, looking in the direction that Latios had left "Is he okay now? What could've happened...?"

 

[Assailant]

Max seemed disappointed for a moment before smiling. "I am disappointed about the stone, but thank you for the berries." Max turned around and counted the berries in his basket before picking a few more. "These berries seem exquisite" He was silent for a few more seconds before speaking up again. "I don't believe I've seen any of you around here. How long have you lived here?"

 

[Hexxy]

""Wow that is horrible but that is not the whole story "" Sal says remember I read your mind you think I'll be scared

 

[Latios]

Latios knew of the telepathic abilities the Lati had but it was considered rude in tradition to use them on a fellow Lati without permission. "Stay out of my head." He growled. "I will not tell you. One should not know to much."


Emlas thought for a moment. "Well I lived here for 25 years, but my brother has only for 13. We used to live in Hoenn but my we moved when I was born. It had something to do with the fact that we lost our mother and brother. Draka has been with the family for a long time. She helped us find a location to settle down. Whe I was twelve, Latios returned to us after a long time of searching. He was so shriveled, let he had hardly eaten. But I won't forget the blood." Emlas grew quiet after that.


"He's fine now. It was many years ago. I don't know what happened, he won't say. I try not to be nosy, they've been though enough already."

 

[Assailant]

Max stopped picking for a moment. "I'm... Sorry," he said to Emlas. He turned towards Emlas with a sad smile. "Tragedy is an inevitable part of life, I'm afraid. But through our trials and adversities, we become stronger than we ever could have before... I hope that doesn't sound too insensitive."

Kage stared at the pokemon with a surprised expression. Why did a Zoroark tackle him? Did he...startle it? If so, he was ready to quickly move to avoid any harm. @Kimona

"Ah, okay..." Amy replied "So, you've known each other for a long time, then?"

 

[Latios]

"I've know their parents when we were kids. When they had children, oh those two brothers were the best of friends. It's a shame that they were separated. Latios just isn't the same as when we was that bouncing child. It's sad to think about what happened to those two's parents and thier older brother. The family is broken. As of this moment I'm the closest thing they have to a parent."


"No it's ok, it's ture after all. It's just sad to think about." She wiped a year from her eye as she remembered.

"Oh..." Amy said, feeling bad. This whole situation vaguely reminded her of her own situation. She looked down at her scarf, thinking about Daniel and Amelia. She let her mind wander around there for a while. She missed them a lot...

 

[Assailant]

Max didn't know what to do. In the end, he decided to hand her one of his more decadent berries. Sure... It was from THEIR garden, but hoped that at least the gesture meant something.

 

[Latios]

"Is this... For me." Emlas asked. She slowly took the berry out of his paw and looked at it.


"There's no need to feel bad. It's not your fault. If you wish to blame anyone blame humans. They are the ones who tore them apart."

 

[Assailant]

Max smiled. "I'm sorry for trespassing, taking, and making you relive that awful memory. It is really the least I could do."

Amy blinked "Humans? What do you mean?" She asked, confused. Daniel and Amelia were both really nice, she didn't understand what Draka meant by Humans tore them apart.

 

[Latios]

"Thank you." She said while taking a bit out of the berry. "Oh, this is really good."


"It's exactly what I mean. It was humans who killed thier mother and brother, humans who took Latios away. They are responsible for thier pain."

"Wow... But..." Amy said, shaking her head. That couldn't be true, could it? Humans were nice! They'd never do anything to hurt anyone... Right?
